Abstract

Christian parents' democratic parenting patterns contribute significantly to the formation of a teenager’s character based on the Christian values and norms applied in society. Ironically, some Christian parents tend to lack understanding and do not apply the democratic parenting style well. Consequently, teenagers behave out of Christian values. According to this literature review, some characteristics of Christian parents’ democratic style was identified, namely: (1) making regulations together, and then carry them out; (2) providing guidance based on the God’s words; (3) creating the harmony of the family; (4) involving the teenager in various matters; (5) giving teenager freedom to express his/her opinions; (6) supervising the teenager without rigidity. In order to develop Christian parents' democratic parenting patterns, further research is needed. Keywords: Character building, Christian parents, democratic parenting, Teenager

Abstract

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship and the magnitude of the provision of strengthening learning through online by PAK lecturers with learning motivation among undergraduete students in IAKN Tarutung. This research was conducted by using inferential quantitative research. The population of this study was the forth semester of IAKN Tarutung. The total number of the students was 196 students. In order to determine the sample, the stratified random sampling was used to select that were 49 students as participants involved. The research instrument was a closed questionnaire with a total of 40 items. The data of the study were analyzed by using descriptive and inferential statistical data analysis techniques with the following steps: (1) The relationship test found that rcount> rtabel is 0.673> 0.266. It showed that there is a positive relationship between reinforcement with the learning motivation of IAKN Tarutung students, (2) The significant test of the relationship shows that tcount> ttable is 6.691> 2,000. It showed that there is a significant relationship between giving reinforcement of online learning and learning motivation. Therefore, it can be concluded that the strengthening of online learning in the Covid-19 pandemic situation is the ability of lecturers to innovate in designing and concocting materials, learning methods, and what applications are in accordance with the material and methods so that lecturers become creative and can motivate students to stay enthusiastic in learning online (online) and not be a psychological burden. Abstract

Abstract:This study aims to: examine the sustainability of the Lake Toba region through an educational and cultural approach. The study design is qualitative with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation and interviews and accompanied by supporting documents that became important references in this study. The results of the study note that in preserving the Lake Toba area, environmental education is needed to be taught to children as early as possible. The education includes 1) the existence of an applicable environmental curriculum in schools, 2) Having a School Health Business Program (UKS) that can become an environmental awareness of planted herbs, 3) Implementing PPKN, Natural Sciences, Geography with Environmental education, 4) Developing lifestyle simple to reduce the burden of problems that occur on earth, 5) Organizing environmental activity programs, 6) Incorporate  Environmental education programs in environmental-based extracurricular activities, for example through KIR (Youth Scientific Work), 7) PLH starts from simple things  in the form of  projects real work in the environment. In preserving the Lake Toba region through a cultural approach is carried out by reminding the myths, Hata Tona, Poda and Umpama in the Batak Land to the people who live in the Lake Toba region. Keywords: lake toba sustainability, education, cultureAbstrak:Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: mengkaji kelestarian kawasan Danau Toba melalui pendekatan pendidikan dan budaya. Desain penelitian bersifat kualitatif dengan pendekatan pendeskripsian. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi dan wawancara dan disertai dokumen pendukung yang menjadi referensi penting dalam kajian ini. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa dalam melestarikan kawasan Danau Toba diperlukan adanya pendidikan lingkungan hidup yang diajarkan kepada anak-anak sedini mungkin. Pendidikan terebut meliputi 1) adanya kurikulum lingkungan hidup yang berlaku di sekolah, 2) Memiliki program Usaha Kesehatan Sekolah (UKS) yang dapat menjadi kesadaran lingkungan hidup dari tanaman herbal yang ditanam, 3) Mengimplementasikan pelajaran Pendidikan Agama,  PPKN, IPA, Geografi dengan  PLH, 4) Mengembangkan gaya hidup sederhana untuk mengurangi beban permasalahan yang terjadi di muka bumi, 5) Menyelenggarakan program kegiatan berwawasan lingkungan, 6) Memasukkan program PLH dalam kegiatan ekstrakurikuler berbasis lingkungan, misalnya melalui KIR (Karya Ilmiah Remaja), 8) PLH dimulai dari hal-hal sederhana berupa proyek kerja nyata di lingkungan. Dalam melestarikan kawasan Danau Toba melalui pendekatan budaya dilakukan dengan mengingatkan kembali mitos-mitos, Hata Tona, Poda dan Umpama yang ada di Tanah Batak kepada masyarkat yang bermukim di kawasan Danau Toba.Kata Kunci: kelestarian danau toba, pendidikan, budaya

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship and magnitude of Christian religious teacher’s integrity in carrying out their duties and responsibilities to students of SMP Negeri 2 Lintongnihuta. The number of samples here was 129 students. Data was collected by means of a questionnaire using descriptive analysis. The results showed that there was an effect of Christian religious teacher integrity in carrying out duties and responsibilities to students. This research was analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical data analysis techniques with the following steps: (1) The relationship test found that rcount r table was 0.621 0.349. It can be concluded that there is a positive relationship between the Integrity of Christian religious Teachers with Duties and Responsibilities, (2) The significant test of the relationship shows that tcount t table is 4.338 2.042. Based on the results of this study, teachers of religious education must have integrity that greatly influences a person in carrying out their duties and responsibilities regularly, consistently, honestly, in accordance with the professional ethics code for Christian religious teachers. As result, student interest and motivation will increase.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe research is aimed to determine the relationship of strengthening the gift of Christian education teacher with students learning motivation for class vi students of sd negeri 173105 tarutung, north tapanuli regency year 2019.  The research hypothesis was that there was a positive and significant relationship of strengthening gift of Christian education teacher with students learning motivation for class vi students of sd Negeri 173105 tarutung, north tapanuli the regency year 2019.  This study used quantitative inferential research methods. The research population was all grade VI students of SD Negeri 173105 Tarutung who were Christian, amounting to 56 people. The research sample is taken the entire population so that this study is a population study. The research instrument was a closed questionnaire. The questionnaire trial was conducted on 10 fifth grade students at SD Negeri 173131 Tarutung.The research data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistical data analysis techniques with the following steps: 1) The relationship test found that r count r table was 0.673 0.266. It can be concluded that there is a positive relationship between Giving Strengthening with Learning Motivation of PAK Grade VI Students of SD Negeri 173105 Tarutung in 2019, 2) Significant test of the relationship is known that t count t table is 6.691 2,000. It can be concluded that there is a positive and significant relationship of strengthening the gift of Christian education teacher with students learning motivation for class vi students of sd negeri 173105 tarutung, north tapanuli the regency year 2019. Abstract

AbstrackThe Christian religious education teacher is an educator who provides knowledge about Christianity based on the Bible, centered on Jesus Christ, and relied on the Holy Spirit. Christian Religious Education teachers must be able to offer their bodies in Romans 12:1-3. The understanding of offering the body include: 1)the Christian religious education teacher always i approaches the loving and generous God 2)give advice by encouraging, directing convey the truth of God's Words. 3). renewal of the mind by distinguishing which is good and pleasing to God. Thus, each Christian religious education teacher can understand that a true educator must surrender his/her body as a true offering according to will of God.Key word: Christian education teacher; Offering the body Romans 12:1-3.ABSTRAKGuru Pendidikan Agama Kristen merupakan seorang pendidik yang memberikan ilmu pengetahuan tentang agama Kristen yang berdasarkan Alkitab, berpusat pada Yesus Kristus, dan bergantung pada Roh Kudus kepada peserta didik dalam kegiatan belajarmengajar. Guru Pendidikan Agama Kristen harus mampu mempersembahkan tubuhnya dalam Roma 12:1-3 sebagai ibadah sejati. Pemahaman mempersembahkan tubuh yaitu 1)guru Pendidikan agama Kristen senantiasa menghampiri Allah yang penuh kasih dan kemurahan 2)memberikan nasihat dengan mendorong, mengarahkan dan berdasarkan kebenaran Firman Tuhan. 3)pembaharuan budi dengan membedakan mana yang baik dan yang berkenan kepada Allah. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Hubungan Keterampilan Mengajar dan Kompetensi Kepribadian Guru PAK dengan Motivasi Belajar PAK Siswa Kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Siborong-borong. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif inferensial dengan populasi seluruh siswa  Kelas XI SMA Negeri 2 Siborong-borong Kabupaten Tapanuli Utara Tahun Pembelajaran 2017/2018 yang berjumlah 286 orang dan sampel diambil 20% dari seluruh populasi sebanyak 56 orang. Instrumen penelitian berupa angket tertutup yang disusun sendiri oleh peneliti. Uji coba instrumen dilakukan kepada 30 siswa, diluar sampel dengan hasil 45 item valid dan reliabel. Ketiga hipotesis dalam penelitian ini teruji pada hipotesis pertama koefisien korelasi  rx1y  = 0,580 pada taraf signifikan α = 0,05 dan koefisien determinasi r2x1y= 0,580 hal ini menunjukan bahwa 58% motivasi belajar siswa ditentukan oleh Keterampilan Mengajar, melalui persamaan regresi . Hipotesis  kedua koefisien  korelasi r x2y = 0, 0,301 pada taraf signifikan α = 0,05 dan koefisien determinasi r2 x1y = 0,30. Hal ini menunjukan bahwa 30,1% variabel motivasi belajar siswa ditentukan oleh  Kompetensi Kepribadian Guru PAK, melalui persamaan regresi . Pada hipotesis ketiga R  = 0,458 pada taraf signifikan α =0,05 dan keberartian koefisien korelasiFhitung= 4,58>Ftabel = 3,23 yang berarti motivasi belajar siswa sebesar 45,8% ditentukan oleh variabel Keterampilan Mengajar dan Kompetensi Kepribadian Guru PAK dengan persamaan regresi multiple . Dari hasil analisis data disimpulkan 1) ada hubungan yang positif dan signifikan Keterampilan Mengajar guru PAK dengan motivasi belajar Siswa, 2) ada hubungan yang positif dan signifikan kompetensi Kepribadian guru PAK dengan motivasi belajar siswa, 3) ada hubungan yang positif dan signifikan Keterampilan Mengajar dan Komptetensi Kepribadian Guru PAK dengan motivasi belajar siswa, artinya jika akan meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa maka Keterampilan Mengajar dan Kompetensi Kepribadian guru PAK perlu di tingkatkan.Kata Kunci: keterampilan mengajar, kompetensi kepribadian guru

Abstract

Abstract: Pastoral conducted by Christian religious education teachers is the preaching of God’s word toward every student or a group of students in order to shape their character as Jesus’ disciples. By pastoral, students are also expected to be more aware of the importance of building a good relationship with God. Consequently, this study aims to describe pastoral by Christian religious education teachers. Based on the results of hermeneutic approach, it was found several pastoral matters that may need to be conducted by Christian religious education teachers based on Psalm 23: 1-6, namely: (1) providing students’ needs; (2) guiding; (3) protecting, and (4) take care of students. Through the pastoral, the learning process can be more effective and efficient. Furthermore, students will also experience their life changes, for instance, their behaviours to be better according to Christian values. Abstrak: Penggembalaan yang dilakukan guru pendidikan agama Kristen merupakan penyampaian Firman Tuhan kepada setiap pribadi atau sekelompok peserta didik supaya karakter siswa tersebut terbentuk sebagai murid Kristus. Melalui penggembalan, siswa juga diharapkan semakin menyadari perlu bahwa membangun hubungan yang baik dengan Tuhan dalam kehidupan seharai-hari sangatlah penting. Karenanya, studi ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan cara penggembalaan yang seharusnya dilakukan oleh guru pendidikan agama Kristen. Berdasarkan pengkajian dari Nats Alkitab, Mazmur 23:1-6, dengan menggunakan pendekatan hermeneutika ditemukan beberapa hal-hal penggembalaan yang dapat dilakukan oleh guru pendidikan agama Kristen, yaitu: (1) menyediakan kebutuhan siswa; (2) menuntun; (3) melindungi; dan (4) menjaga para siswa. Dengan adanya metode penggembalaan tersebut,  proses pembelajaran dapat berjalan efektif dan efisien. Selain itu, para murid juga dapat merasakan perubahan dalam kehidupan mereka, misalnya memiliki tingkah laku ke arah yang lebih baik sesuai dengan nilai-nilai Kristiani.

Abstract

Moderasi beragama merupakan kunci utama dalam membangun keseimbangan dan kesamarataan di antara umat beragama. Abad kedua puluh satu diidentikan dengan proses digitalisasi, sehingga generasi z memiliki peran signifikan untuk membangun moderasi beragama. Berdasarkan konsep tersebut, menjadi sebuah hal urgen untuk mengkaji tentang kontribusi yang dapat dilakukan oleh generasi z dalam membangun moderasi beragama melalui literasi digital. Oleh karena itu, tujuan studi ini adalah menyajikan berbagai kontribusi yang dapat dilakukan oleh generasi z dalam membangun moderasi beragama melalui literasi digital. Metode kualitatif digunakan dalam penelitian ini, secara khusus dengan melakukan kajian literatur yang relevan, misalnya dari artikel jurnal dan buku-buku. Pengumpulan data dilakukan berdasarkan pada persoalan tentang agama dan rendahnya kesadaran masyarakat dalam memanfaatkan media digital untuk membangun kepedulian dan sikap toleransi sesama beragama. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa generasi z berperan penting sebagai generasi penerus bangsa Indonesia dalam membangun moderasi beragama. Adapun kontribusi generasi z dalam membangun moderasi beragama melalui literasi digital, yakni (1) membentuk komunitas literasi digital; (2) menyebarluaskan konten-konten dan informasi seputar agama yang membangun moderasi beragama; (3) melakukan pembinaan online; dan (4) menyelenggarakan lomba online.
