Abstract

Teachers play an important role in curriculum implementation and become one of the factors in it. The role of teachers in the implementation of curriculum is influenced by the competence they have. This study aimed to examine the correlation between pedagogical competence and teacher’s teaching experience in Tomohon city primary schools. The study used descriptive method with correlational study model. The data used in this study was secondary data based on the results of UKG 2015. The selected research subjects were elementary school teachers in Tomohon especially in schools that had implemented 2013 Curriculum. The data analysis method used in this study was Pearson Product-Moment Correlation. The results of this study indicates that teaching experience and pedagogical competence are negatively correlated (r = -0.403), and the correlation is significantly indicated by p-value of 0.000. This means the longer the teaching experience, the less pedagogical competence are the teachers.

Abstract

The ability to focus on tasks / lessons is important to improve the achievement of a student.To get the results, it takes a sufficient intake of oxygen for the brain to generate energy. Oneform of effort to increase the intake of such intake is with Brain Gym. This study aims toprove the influence of Brain Gym on the concentration of students learning STEI Indonesiarawamangun East Jakarta. The benefits of this study is for physiotherapists to prove theinfluence of Brain Gym on the concentration of students learning STEI Indonesiarawamangun East Jakarta to always be able to concentrate so as to get better learningoutcomes. Sampling technique used is purposive sampling and continued with simple randomsampling. Total number of 68 students divided into study and control group participated inthis research. Statistical analysis used is paired t test and independent t test if normaldistributed. The results showed that Before Intervention produced average value equal to44.65 which means the level of concentration is moderate and after Intervention producedaverage value equal to 59.26 which means the level of concentration is quite moderate. Thecalculation results show that there is a difference between the control group and thetreatment group. The result of the calculation of the average value shows that the treatmentgroup is higher than the control group. Thus the treatment group is more effective.

Abstract

This study addresses a descriptive study on the current scenario of Textile industry in Bangladesh. This paper demonstrates above mentioned scenario in terms of supply chain management (SCM). The textile industry, an important segment in Bangladeshs manufacturing industry, play a critical role in its economic development. The textile sector fulfils almost cent percent domestic demand apart from the fulfilling the external demand of clothing and apparels to a large extent in Bangladesh. The Textile industry is a long chain including raw materials production, complement production, clothing production and so on. SCM concept is made possible as a conventional management tool for all manufactures are to strive to improve their product quality, to reduce their product and service cost and to shorten their product delivery and response time in a highly competitive market. This research developed based on the secondary data, including online databases, journals, review papers, etc. The effective SCM of textile industry include lower inventories, lower costs, higher productivity, greater productivity, greater agility shorter lead times, higher profits and greater customer loyalty. This paper encompasses the constraints of textile industry in Bangladesh, including ineffective communication, invisibility of SCM, long lead time, etc. which would unlock further research to develop this sector.

Abstract

This study aims to observe the impact of the implementation of MBKM learning program at the Faculty of Humanities, Universitas Komputer Indonesia (Unikom); In addition, this study also observes the understanding and interest of the students in the Faculty towards the program. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method, by taking data sources from the results of a questionnaire survey on the implementation of the MBKM program filled out by students of the Faculty; the questionnaire was facilitated by the Ministry of Education and Culture as the creator of the MBKM program. The results of this study indicate that students have positive perceptions regarding the implementation of MBKM Program learning activities. This is indicated by a good understanding of the program; also, it is indicated with a large enough interest to join the program, and the impact that is quite promising for the implementation of this program in the future for students of the Faculty. This research is expected to have a positive impact on improving the learning activities of tMBKM Program in the future, especially for its management at UNIKOM, especially at the Faculty of Humanities. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the type of gairaigo vocabulary used and the reasons for using gairaigo vocabulary in the novel Kimi No Nawa by Makoto Shinkai. The method used is a qualitative descriptive with semantic feature inside semanteme method for data analysis. The data collected in the form of the gairaigo vocabulary in the novel then analyzed by comparing the meanings between the gairaigo, the original vocabulary in English and the equivalent of the gairaigo vocabulary in Japanese. The results showed that the reason for using gairaigo vocabulary in the novel Kimi No Nawa was because gairaigo was more appropriate to describe objects in the novel, then the gairaigo is more in line with the trend of word use in today's society, and the gairaigo has a higher value than its equivalent in Japanese.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the giongo in Gekkan Shojo Nozaki-kun Vol.1 manga based on the type of sound, function, and contextual meaning. The research method used by the author is a qualitative descriptive method. The results of this study found 57 types of giongo onomatopoeias which is “pon” means clapping, “sutt” means fast movement, “bashitt” means slamming, “garatt” means friction, “kyutt-kyutt” means rubbing markers friction, “shatt-shatt” means penctil friction, “shaako-shaako” means bicycle pedaling, “shaka-shaka” means fast bicycle pedaling, “pipiitt” means flute sound, “kashatt” means camera sound. The author hopes that further research can examine other types of onomatopoeias and from a grammatical point of view. Abstract

This research is entitled Social Interaction of Honami Characters with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome in Novel Seibo which discusses polycystic ovary syndrome as the main setting that affects social interactions in the main character. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the form of social interaction of the Honami character in the novel Seibo. The research method used is a qualitative method using library research techniques and descriptive analysis with a sociology of literature approach. The results of this study are the social interactions contained in the novel Seibo include Associative which is a form of interaction in positive terms, and dissociative is a form of interaction in negative terms. Associative interactions in Honami include cooperation and accommodation. Meanwhile, dissociative interactions include conflict, competition, and contravention. Abstract

This study aims to explore the IMAD Curriculum (`Idaad Almu'allimin wa Ad-duah) at the Daarul Fikri Integrated Islamic Boarding School. This research is a library approach. The Daarul Fikri Integrated Islamic Boarding School, the Qobasat An-nur Foundation, implements a curriculum with the Superior Program for memorizing the Koran with mutqin, Linguistics, IMAD MD 4 (Muallim wa Ad-Duah) Dirosah Islamiyah (DI) curriculum or Islamic Science and equipped with a curriculum service (MIPA, Information Technology) and Living Skills. The typical curriculum of IMAD MD 4 (Muallim wa Ad-Duah) Dirosah Islamiyah (DI) or Islamic Sciences and equipped with an official curriculum (MIPA, Information Technology) and Living Skills. The concept of holistic Islamic education is able to touch the main objects: Ruhiyah, Aqliyah and Jasadiyah. Which aims to bring students who are able to achieve success in this world and the hereafter.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis gaya bahasa yang dapat ditemukan pada lagu-lagu dalam album Ignite a Noise lalu mencari intertekstual seperti apa yang dapat ditemukan dari lagu-lagu tersebut. Metode penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dan penelitian ini juga menggunakan metode library research atau penelitian kepustakaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan teori gaya bahasa oleh Seto Kenichi berdasarkan bukunya Nihonggo no Retorikku dan prinsip intertekstual Napiah. Dari 62 data yang didapat dari menganalisis gaya bahasa, gaya bahasa paling banyak yang ditemukan pada lagu-lagu dalam album Ignite a Noise adalah Metafora, Personifikasi dan Repitisi, sementara intertekstual yang ditemukan adalah bentuk Ekserp dan Modifikasi. Abstract

Integrative education which is not only oriented towards educating the nation's children intellectually, but also spiritually, socially-emotionally and kinesthetically, must be the concern of all education stakeholders. This is also a concern of educational stakeholders in Ursuline schools. Ursuline schools have main values or core values, namely Serviam which means "I Serve". Serviam's values include love and compassion, integrity, courage and sincerity, unity, totality and service. These values are sourced from holy books, Church teachings and the spirituality of Santa Angela. How is the application of these values in Ursuline education? So far, there has been no research on this. This research was conducted to fill this gap with the aim of exploring and describing a model for implementing Serviam's values in education in Ursuline schools. The method used is a qualitative method. Data obtained by interview technique, observation and documentation study. Data validation was carried out by means of technique and source triangulation. Furthermore, the data were analyzed with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the application of Serviam's values was carried out through (1) learning activities in all subjects both in planning (96.3% of teachers prepared lesson plans with Serviam's character), implementation (88.9% of teachers implemented lesson plans with Serviam's character in learning) and assessment (100% of teachers filled out an attitude assessment journal containing Serviam's character values); (2) developing school culture through routine activities, spontaneous activities, exemplary and conditioning; (3) extracurricular activities and (4) daily activities at home and in the community. This research contributes to enriching the literature on character education and provides important input for stakeholders regarding the development of character education that is integrative and systematic so that it can be input in conducting prove and improve curriculum construction at the document level and practice in the field so that students have a calling in life. and ready to serve in his life.
