Abstract

Penerapan model pembelajaran CCDSR (condition, construction, development, simulation, reflection) dapat melatihkan keterampilan proses sains (KPS) siswa SMA Negeri 8 Kota Ternate. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan kelas (PTK) yang diterapkan pada 36 orang siswa dengan dua kali siklus penelitian. Masing-masing siklus terdiri dari empat kali pertemuan. Penerapan CCDSR menunjukkan bahwa KPS siswa menggunakan model pembelajaran CCDSR pada siklus I yaitu skor perolehan tertinggi 2,03 dan sejumlah 47,2% siswa memiliki KPS  tergolong dalam kriteria rendah, dan 52,8% pada kategori sedang, dan tidak seorangpun KPS siswa  pada kategori tinggi. Penerapan model pembelajaran CCDSR pada siklus II memberikan dampak peningkatan pada KPS siswa dengan skor perolehan tertinggi 2,94 dan 13,8% berada pada kriteria sedang, 86,2% berada pada kriteria tinggi, 13,8% pada kategori sedang, dan tidak ada KPS siswa yang berada pada kategori rendah. Implikasi penelitian ini adalah model pembelajaran CCDSR dapat digunakan untuk melatihkan keterampilan proses sains siswa SMA.

Abstract

This partnership activity aims to improve the ability of high school biology teachers to make genetics learning videos so that the material is easier for students to understand. Activities using socialization methods, material deepening, training and mentoring were carried out online and attended by 21 biology teachers who are members of the Ternate City High School Biology MGMP. Meanwhile, mentoring activities were carried out offline and attended by 13 peoples. The pretest results showed that 46.7% of participants did not know about various applications that can be downloaded for free from the internet to make genetics learning videos and 92.1% of participants had never made their own learning videos, but in the posttest 98.2% of participants understood the applications. the. At the end of the material deepening activity, it was discovered that the participants had understood the genetic concept of protein synthesis and cross-breeding and there were no misconceptions. In training activities, participants are trained on how to download free applications from the internet and how to operate these applications to create learning videos, including: creating images, selecting various features available on Canva, combining various images and videos, adding music, adding text, editing images. and sound. At the end of the mentoring activity, it was discovered that 78% of the participants had been able to make learning videos, while 22% of the learning videos produced had not been completed and could not be used for learning.

Abstract

The city of Ternate is an area whose territory consists mostly of ocean, so the people need an understanding of accurate tools to detect sea water levels which have the potential to become tsunamis and sometimes accompanied by earthquakes. For example, the educational community, teachers who are members of the Ternate City Physics MGMP, need to be given socialization and training on how to operate Arduino Uno-based tools which can provide signals when exposed to high tides via their ultrasonic sensors. The method for implementing the Community Partnership Program begins with identifying problems in coastal communities and high school physics teachers, followed by socialization, demonstrations and training on how to operate Arduino Uno-based tools. The activity is known to have increased physics teachers' understanding of the existence and benefits of the Arduino Uno by 100% and skills in operating the tool by 89.1%. Activity participants rated this activity as very important with an average result of 97.4%; the accuracy of the activity method was 95.6%; instructor expertise in delivering material was 97.1%. All participants (100%) who took part in the activity stated that this skill was important in teaching physics at school.
