Abstract

Desain struktur Hotel Citihub Magelang merupakan hasil perencanaan yang masih mengacu pada standar lama, antara lain SNI 03-2847-2002 dan SNI 1726-2002. Hal ini menjadi dasar dilakukannya redesain struktur gedung dengan mengacu pada standar-standar terbaru yaitu SNI 2847:2013 tentang persyaratan beton struktural untuk bangunan gedung dan SNI 1726:2012 tentang tata cara perencanaan ketahanan gempa untuk struktur bangunan gedung, menggunakan dimensi balok dan kolom struktur yang sama dengan desain sebelumnya. Redesain struktur dengan menerapkan konfigurasi Sistem Rangka Pemikul Momen Khusus (SRPMK) bertujuan agar nantinya struktur memiliki tingkat daktilitas yang mampu menahan beban gempa rencana. Analisis struktur menggunakan program SAP2000 untuk mendapatkan gaya-gaya dalam yang bekerja pada struktur berdasarkan kombinasi pembebanan yang digunakan. Hasil dari redesain menunjukkan bahwa dengan menggunakan dimensi balok dan kolom struktur yang sama dengan desain sebelumnya, redesain struktur Hotel Citihub Magelang mempunyai perbedaan penulangan balok dan kolom yang bervariasi.

Abstract

Kaligung Bridge is located in Tuwel village of Slawi in Tegal regency. The Bridge connects Bumijawa and Tuwel area and stretches along 70 meters above Kaligung river. In this project, Kaligung Tuwel bridge was designed as a steel truss system. The design steps are as follows : analysis of the existing conditions, design the upper structure and the substructure of the bridge, and calculate budget plan ( RAB ). The Design of the upper structure considers loads such as : self weight, dead load, traffic load, wind load, and seismic load. The design was carried out using LRFD (Load and Resistance Factor Design) method. Next, the substructure was designed by calculating the dimension of the foundation and abutment. The foundation was designed as a caisson while the abutment was of cantilever type.

Abstract

A Multifunctional building to support learning activities has become an urgent need for the faculty of engineering of UNDIP as some departments have limited lecture rooms. The Construction of such building is a solution for better and comfortable lecture facilities at the Faculty of Engineering. The building structure is design as SRPMK or Special Moment Resisting Frame based on SNI 03-1726-2012 and SNI 03-2847-2002. The structure analysis and design of the building was conducted using a structural analysis program and Cad software. This thesis looks into structural design of Slabs, Beams, Columns, Lifts, Beam-Coloumn Joints, Tie Beam and Fondations.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Struktur komposit adalah struktur yang terdiri dari dua atau lebih komponen dengan material yang berbeda. Permasalahan utama dalam struktur komposit adalah mencegah kegagalan geser yang terjadi pada interaksi permukaan antar material. Permasalahan ini dapat diselesaikan dengan penghubung geser. Dalam penelitian ini akan dikaji pengaruh panjang dan diameter stud tanpa kepala terhadap kekuatan dan mekanisme kegagalan dari struktur komposit. Penelitian dilakukan dengan analisis numerik menggunakan ANSYS, software dengan metode elemen hingga. Tes validasi dilakukan untuk membandingkan hasil uji fisik dengan simulasi numerik. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa mekanisme kegagalan stud tanpa kepala bergantung pada diameter dan panjangnya. Stud yang lebih kaku akan mengalami kegagalan terlebih dahulu dari beton, sementara stud yang lebih fleksibel sudah mengalami leleh.

Abstract

In case of building structure plan, analyzing of earthquake effect is important. Especially for building which located in big earthquake zones. Indonesian isles are situated on major earthquake zones. That’s why the good planning are needed to manage earthquake risk to avoid big accident. On this final paper, the building are planned with Sway Special Design System. That based on SNI 03-2847-2002 and SNI 1726-2010.  “Strong Column Weak Beam” concept is used for the building. The planning of structure are consist of 14 levels and 2 basements which located in 3rd earthquake zone. We expected that Sway Special Design System can be good applicated and useful for all of people on building plan which located in major earthquake zone.

Abstract

Separated Highway Casablanca Package is located at Kuningan, Jakarta. This separated highways is designed using prestressed concrete box girder construction. The erection method is conducted by means of balance cantilever method. The main equipment used in the erection of box girder is launcher gantry. Total length of the separated highways is 1175 m, which is divided into 24 spans. This separated highways has 25 piers. The first step of designing this separated highway is by designing the dimension of the box girder. The next step is analyzing the loads that are predicted to work on the structure, namely load, traffic load, wind load, and earthquake load. Next, structural analysis is carried out to obtain the internal forces and stresses in the structure. The result of the structural analysis is used to calculate loss of prestressing force, needs of tendon, and the reinforcement of box girder. The next step is designing Piers and Foundation. The reinforcement in the piers is 1,33 times of the minimum reinforcement required by analysis. The Foundation uses bore piles and calculated using Broms method.

Abstract

It is well known that compressive strength of concrete is affected by the strength of the constituent materials and the strength of interfacial transition zone (ITZ). This research aimed at investigating the influence of the addition of resin on coarse aggregates on the strength of concrete. The resin investigated in this research was unsaturated polyester resin. The resin was combined with methanol with different composition of 1:0; 1:0.25; 1:0.5; and 1:1. The tests conducted in this investigation were pull off test, shear test and compression test. Test results show that all specimens with resin exhibit lower strength values compared to specimens with no resin. The compressive strength of concrete silinders with resin coated aggregates were obtained to be 16.26 MPa and 3.14 MPa, while the compressive strength of normal concrete ( with no resin) was 29.99 MPa.

Abstract

This research aimed at investigating the effect of glass thickness on the strength of annealed glass panels. The research was conducted using both experimental tests and numerical simulations. The experimental tests were conducted using the double ring method, while the numerical simulations were carried out using Finite Element Method (FEM). Numerical simulations were conducted first to determine efficient meshing, dimension of the specimen, and the equipment capacity. The number of specimens were 400 with the same width and length of 200 mm x 200 mm. The thickness of which were varied from 3 mm up to 10 mm. The test results were maximum load and fracture origin. Both of these results were used to calculate the strength of the glass that was expressed as failure stress at the location of fracture origin. The failure stress scattered in a wide range, hence statistical analysis was required to analyze the glass strength. From the analysis, it can be seen that the strength of glass was affected by its thickness. Some graphs have been created to show the allowable pressure that can be resisted by certain dimension of glass panels.

Abstract

Design of highrise building includes design of structure elements such as floor slabs, stairs, beam-column frames and foundations to withstand all working loads. Therefore, an engineer should select the most appropriate structural system such as fully elastic, partially ductile or fully ductile. The structure of Horison Hotel Pekalongan is designed to apply Special Moment Resisting Frame System (SRPMK) based on Indonesia building codes and standard. The structure analysis was conducted using ETABS v.9.7.1 software. The seismic analysis using the response spectrum dynamic analysis obtained the value of maximum vibration period of 1.74 seconds and design seismic force (V) = 344.18 ton. The internal forces calculated from ETABS v.9.7.1 were used to determine the amount of reinforcement required by the structure. Results obtained from the design show that Special Moment Resisting Frame System (SRPMK) used in Horison Hotel Pekalongan is capable of supporting all working loads considered in the analysis.
