Abstract

Sharia insurance, especially car insurance, is wide open because the majority of Indonesian people are Muslims and the volume of motor vehicles (Mobiles) is also increasing so rapidly. Besides, the Muslim community has already realised how important it is to be an insurance member. As for the purpose of this research to find out how the management mechanism of partial loss and third party on car insurance in PT. Askrida Insurance Shariah Cab. Field, whether partial loss and third party mechanisms are in line with Islamic financial theory. This research uses inductive qualitative methods with descriptive analysis. This type of research is field research. (field research). This research data includes primary data and secondary data. Research site in PT. Askrida Insurance Shariah Cab. Field, Jl. Sei Batang Assaangan No.43, Babura, Kec, New Field, Medan City, North Sumatra 20222. In data collection using observation methods, interviews, and documentation.. Based on the analysis that the researchers have done, then the results of this study is known that the shariah insurance concerning partial loss and third party on Vehicles in PT. Askrida Insurance Shariah Cab. Fields are in line with Islamic financial theory. Because in the practice of partial loss and third party at PT. Askrida Insurance Shariah Cab. The fields have already used the tabarru's accreditation and the urah's bill, as well as the claims, allocations of funds, and benefits that are in line with the concepts of Islamic financial theory.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the proportion of independent commissioners and audit committees on financial performance in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange partially and simultaneously. This research uses quantitative methods with an associative approach. The results of this study showed that partially the proportion of independent commissioners did not have a significant effect on financial performance with the tcount < ttable (0.561015 < 1.97569) and the probability value showing a number greater than the significance value (0.5758 > 0.05). Meanwhile, the audit committee has a significant effect on financial performance with the tcount > ttable (7.265215 > 1.97569) and the probability value showing a number smaller than the significance value (0.0000 < 0.05). Simultaneously, the proportion of independent commissioners and audit committees has a significant effect on financial performance with the Fcount > Ftable value (13.81392 > 3.06) and a probability value showing a figure of 0.000000 which means it smaller than the significance value of 0.05 (0.000000 < 0.05). Financial performance can be explained by the proportion of independent commissioners and audit committees of 78.37%, while the remaining 21.63% is explained by other factors beyond the variables studied. Abstract

CSR dapat selcara teloritis didelfinisikan selbagai tanggulng jawab moral sulatul pelrulsahaan telrhadap para stakelholdelr, telrultama masyarakat ataul komulnitas di selkitar lokasi bisnisnya. Selbulah pelrulsahaan haruls melmpelrtahankan eltika. Dalam suldult pandang CSR, prioritas prinsip moral dan eltis melrulpakan indikator kelbelrhasilan sulatul pelrulsahaan. Seltiap bisnis melmiliki idelntitas, julga dikelnal selbagai corporatel imagel, yang belrfulngsi selbagai tanda pelngelnal ataul idelntitas pelrulsahaan kelpada pulblik. Pelngulngkapan selselorang telntang pelngalaman yang tellah dihadapi selhulbulngan delngan pelrnyataan belnda ataul keljadian telrtelntul diselbult pelrselpsi. Prosels melnggabulngkan dan melngorganisir data indra (pelnglihatan) ulntulk melmbulat kita dapat mellihat dulnia kita di selkelliling kita dikelnal selbagai pelrselpsi. Pelnellitian ini melnggulnakan pelndelkatan assosiatif, yang belrtuljulan ulntulk mellihat bagaimana variabell-variabell telrtelntul belrhulbulngan satul sama lain. Pelnellitian ini mellibatkan 1.417 nasabah BSI KCP Rantaul Parapat, delngan 93 sampell. Hasil pelnellitian melnulnjulkkan bahwa pelrselpsi konsulmeln telntang tanggulng jawab sosial pelrulsahaan dan citra pelrulsahaan baik. Hasil pelrhitulngan melnulnjulkkan bahwa koelfisieln deltelrminasi selbelsar 0,513, yang melnulnjulkkan bahwa variabell indelpelndeln Corporatel Social Relsponsibility (X1) dan Corporatel Imagel (X2) melmbelntulk 51,3% variasi variabell Pelrselpsi Nasabah (Y). Variabell lain yang tidak ditelliti melmpelngarulhi bagian yang telrsisa.

Abstract

This research aims to find out the influence of premiums on public interest in the district. Padang Lawas District. Aek Nabara. To find out the influence of products on public interest in Kab. Padang Lawas District. Aek Nabara. To determine the influence of premiums and products on public interest in the district. Padang Lawas District. Aek Nabara The research used was descriptive qualitative. The research results show that based on the results of the partial test (t test), premiums have a significant effect on public interest in having sharia insurance in Aek Nabara Barumun. Partial test results (t test), Product on public interest in having sharia insurance in Aek Nabara Barumun. Simultaneous test results (F test), premiums and products simultaneously have a significant effect on people's interest in having sharia insurance at Aek Nabara Barumun.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the strategy of developing waqf benefits in Sharia insurance and investment benefits in Sharia life insurance at PT Takaful Keluarga Medan, and to formulate strategic recommendations based on SWOT and QSPM analysis. The research method used is descriptive qualitative by applying SWOT and QSPM analysis. The results of the SWOT analysis show that the strategic position of PT Takaful Keluarga Medan is in quadrant 1 (positive strategy), between strengths and opportunities. Strategic recommendations include consistent development of Sharia products, increasing public trust through excellent service, platform diversification for better accessibility, training and socialization about waqf benefits, and improving the quality of human resources. QSPM analysis indicates that the prioritized development strategy is to leverage the Sharia insurance brand and enhance customer trust through digital platforms, increase the number of marketers, improve product quality, workforce understanding, and collaboration with Islamic institutions. The researchers hope that these findings can serve as considerations for students in selecting alternative strategies, while for future researchers, it is hoped that they can analyze other factors and variables not explored in this study.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the insurance and guarantee mechanisms in the implementation of iB Serbaguna financing at PT Bank Sumut Sharia Business Unit. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative approach, gathering data through interviews, observations, and related document studies. The results indicate that the application of insurance and guarantees in iB Serbaguna financing is conducted to reduce credit risk and ensure the continuity of customer payments. The insurance used includes life insurance and loss insurance, while the guarantees involve guarantee institutions to enhance confidence in the customers' repayment abilities. This implementation has proven effective in minimizing financing risks and increasing customer trust in the offered Sharia banking products.

Abstract

The need for banks to retain and acquire new customers amid an increasingly competitive business environment drives this research. Using Relationship Marketing, a marketing approach that emphasizes long-term relationships with clients, is one way to increase customer loyalty. The purpose of this study is to find out how relationship marketing includes communication, trust, commitment, and handling complaints against BSI KCP Gunung Tua customer loyalty. This study used quantitative methodology, with data analysis carried out by correlation analysis between variables and statistical analysis using SPSS version 23 analysis tools, which include: Validity test, normality test, classical assumption test, and hypothesis test conducted using a sample of 100 respondents obtained with the Slovin technique. Bank interviews and questionnaires were used to collect data for the study. Research findings show that complaint handling, communication, dedication, and trust all play a role in fostering client loyalty. The results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that, while other factors not addressed in this study contributed to the remaining 23.5% of the effect, the four Relationship Marketing variables together had a significant effect of 76.5% on customer loyalty.

Abstract

In the case of PT AJB Bumiputera 1912, special restrictions are needed because insurance is different from a business established as a PT. This is where the difference is clear: in a PT, this is not always the case, but in a joint venture, the policy will inevitably also seek company investors. This feature involves legal risks as it requires each investor to accept liability for the company incurring losses. As a result, AJB Bumiputera's policyholders are responsible for any business activities that contain the risk of loss and are entitled to a portion of the company's income. The implementation of good corporate governance (GCG) at AJB Bumiputera is the subject of this research. The research method used in this study is qualitative. The findings of this study show that although AJB Bumiputera has tried to implement GCG principles (such as accountability, openness, and fairness), AJB Bumiputera has not implemented it optimally, in other words, the implementation has not been effective.

Abstract

In general, insurance is providing risk protection to the insurer, namely an insurance organization and an agreement agreed upon for a certain period of time. PT Sun Life Syariah Medan Branch is a Sharia general insurance organization located on Jl. Captain Jumhana No. 127, Sukaramai II, Kec. Medan Area, Medan City, North Sumatra. The aim of this research is to find out how to increase the efficiency and quality of superior Sharia general insurance products at PT Sun Life Syariah Medan Branch. The research method uses qualitative methods. The research results obtained are that the level of efficiency of an organization is not determined by the amount of total income, total expenditure, or the total capital owned by the company. However, on the contrary, it is influenced by the business's ability to maximize profits through the effective use of its own resources, which determines the level of efficiency. For this reason, it can be concluded that the Sun Life Financial Syariah Medan Branch organization has better management skills than traditional insurance organizations to design products optimally and minimize the costs required.

Abstract

Blue Economy is ecosystem-based management to take full advantage of well-managed marine resources to carry out cross-sectoral coordination with public-private partnerships and investments that will provide benefits for the country's economic income by continuing to develop the future potential of marine-based economic resources. The blue economy can create great opportunities to overcome problems in coastal areas by overcoming the challenges they pose. The aim of this research is to determine the implementation of the "Blue Economy" concept in increasing fishermen's income in Medan City. to find out the implementation of the "Blue Economy" concept from a sharia economic perspective. This research is qualitative field research. The subjects of this research are traditional fishermen in Nelayan Indah Village, Medan Labuhan District, while the object of this research is the marine ecosystem in Kurnia Village, Medan Labuhan District. The result of this research is the implementation of the "Blue Economy" concept in increasing fishermen's income in Medan City. 1. The provincial, sub-district and fishermen governments of Medan Labuhan sub-district have not contributed much in terms of implementing blue economy indicators. 2. The concept of minimizing waste has not been properly actualized, not many processed products have been created. 3. Social inclusion has been widely implemented by the government, in this case the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries, to improve the welfare of fishermen. 4. Innovation and adaptation in marine matters and protecting the ecosystem are still very minimal. 5. The multiplier effect by creating processed seafood products is still very minimal. 6. Public awareness of protecting the environment and marine ecosystems is also still low. The implementation of the "Blue Economy" concept is in accordance with the sharia economic perspective, where Islam is very concerned about environmental sustainability.
