Abstract

The objective of this research was to calculate the cost of harvesting and transportation methods for sugar cane. The research was conducted at the PT. Gula Putih Mataram by observe the total cost of four methods of harvesting and transportation of sugar cane in the last harvesting season. These types were Bundle Cane (BC), Loose Cane with truck (LC-Truck), Loose Cane with Ford tractor (LC-Ford), and Loose Cane with John Deere tractor (LC-JD). The results showed that the total cost of harvesting and transportation per ton of sugar cane was Rp. 19,040.00 for the first method, Rp. 12,078.32 for the second one, and Rp. 27,631.12 for the third one and Rp. 36,500.86 for the last one. These results indicate that the Loose Cane with truck is the cheapest method for harvesting and transportation in PT. Gula Putih Mataram.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan aktivitas pendidik, aktivitas peserta didik, dan menganalisis peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik. Penelitian ini dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian tindakan kelas, yang dilaksanakan dengan empat kali pertemuan. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas IV semester genap SDN 1 Padang Luas Tanah Laut Kalimantan Selatan tahun pelajaran 2020/2021, dengan jumlah peserta didik 13 orang yang terdiri dari 6 peserta didik laki-laki dan 7 peserta didik perempuan. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kualitas pendidik mengajar menggunakan model Inkuiri, Intellectualy, Stick mengalami perbaikan di setiap pertemuan dan memperoleh kriteria sangat baik. Perbaikan kualitas pendidik dalam mengajar berdampak baik pada peningkatan aktivitas peserta didik yang memperlihatkan peningkatan dari pertemuan I yang memperoleh kriteria kurang aktif, meningkat sehingga pada pertemuan IV mencapai kriteria sangat aktif. Peningkatan aktivitas peserta didik berdampak pula pada hasil belajar, sehingga hasil belajar peserta didik secara klasikal mulai pertemuan I memperoleh 31%, kemudian meningkat pada setiap pertemuan sehingga pada pertemuan IV mencapai 100%.

Abstract

Protein is a structural and functional component found in living organisms. This study aims to determine the quantity of protein obtained and the type of protein that was successfully extracted from the culture of Escherichia coli BL 21 (DE3). The research method uses exploratory descriptive, measurement of protein concentration by spectrophotometer and analysis of protein molecular weight by SDS-PAGE electrophoresis. The results of the study it was found that the total protein isolated from E. coli BL21 (DE3) bacterial culture had a concentration of 7.67 µg / µl, the control concentration was higher than the sample which was 9.33 µg / µl. The conclutions of the study it was found that the concentration of total protein isolated from E. coli BL21 (DE3) bacterial culture had a of 7.67 µg/µl, but the molecular weight and type of protein in total protein were still unknown.

Abstract

Rejuvenation and conservation of mangrove ecosystems, especially the Teluk Awur mangrove ecosystem, Jepara Regency, can be done by using bacteria that are capable of supporting plant growth or called Plant Growth Promoting Rhizobacteria (PGPR). One of the mechanisms that support plant growth by the PGPR group is phosphate dissolving activity, because the phosphate in the soil is in the form of a compound that is difficult for plants to absorb. This study aims to determine the character of Rhizobacter isolates as a superior phosphate solvent in dissolving phosphates in-vitro from the Teluk Awur mangrove ecosystem, namely isolates coded EO-4. These isolates have similar microbiological and biochemical characters to the genus Enterobacter. Molecular characterization of isolates was carried out using the Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) method - 16S rRNA sequence analysis (comparing with 16S rRNA sequences in gene banks). The results showed that the phosphate-solubilizing rhizobacteria that were isolated had the same base pair percentage of 48% with Enterobacter pyrinus (access number NR_028875).

Abstract

Kentang (Solanum tuberosum L.) merupakan jenis komoditi hortikultura yang menghasilkan umbi dari keluarga Solanaceae. Kebutuhan kentang terus meningkat setiap tahun sejalan dengan meningkatnya jumlah penduduk dan berkembangnya industri yang membutuhkan bahan baku kentang. Kentang banyak dibudidayakan di dataran tinggi di atas 800 m dpl, seperti Dieng, Kerinci, Pengalengan, dan Curup yang memiliki suhu 17ºC sampai dengan 20ºC sehingga tanaman kentang dapat berproduksi maksimal. Namun, di dataran tinggi mulai muncul ancaman lingkungan seperti kekeringan dan tanah longsor, sehingga mendorong para peneliti untuk mengembangkan tanaman kentang di dataran medium. Pengembangan varietas tanaman kentang untuk dataran medium terus dilakukan, salah satunya dengan induksi mutasi. Induksi mutasi dapat dilakukan dengan perlakuan bahan mutagen tertentu terhadap bagian tanaman seperti organ reproduksi. Iradiasi sinar gamma merupakan mutasi yang sering digunakan untuk menginduksi perubahan genetik di dalam sel somatik yang diturunkan, sehingga terjadi peningkatan viabilitas dan menghasilkan mutan baru. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh radiasi sinar gamma terhadap berbagai variabel kualitatif 3 (tiga) varietas tanaman kentang. Perlakuan radiasi sinar gamma memberikan pengaruh yang berbeda dengan tanaman kontrol pada variabel bentuk daun, frekuensi daun menyimpang, kebiasaan tumbuh, bentuk umbi, dan sifat ketahanan terhadap penyakit. Mutan yang memberikan keunggulan dalam segi ketahanan terhadap penyakit adalah mutan D1-A11, D2- A11, D2-A4, D1-G1, D1-G2, D3-G11, D3-G12, dan D2-M11.Kata kunci : kualitatif, kentang, iradiasi gamma, dataran medium

Abstract

Indonesia's education system has changed and developed for the better. In the Ministry of Religious Affairs, this was marked by the existence of the Indonesian Madrasah Competency Assessment (AKMI). The assessments given include reading literacy, numeracy literacy, science literacy, socio-cultural literacy, and character surveys. MTSN 2 Bekasi City in 2022 got the first opportunity to implement the assessment. The researcher used the field research to qualitatively analyze the readiness of MTSN 2 Bekasi City in facing AKMI, such as the readiness of facilities and infrastructure, teacher readiness, and student readiness, as well as the obstacles faced in implementing the assessment. From this research, the readiness of facing AKMI was about 80%. This is also evidenced by the AKMI’s report card which is on average of capable and developing. The rest 20% are obstacles faced by the madrasah in terms of inadequate rooms, computers, as well as other technical obstacles. The results are also evaluation material for the madrasah so that in the future AKMI will be prepared very carefully to minimize existing obstacles. This includes serving as a resource for teachers to provide additional stimulation and mentoring to students who are still at a fundamental level, so that they may become more capable and skilled by providing a space for creativity.

Abstract

Spiders are the main natural enemies (predators) for pests that attack crops. Knowledge about the relationship between Arthropods found on agricultural land and the bacteria carrying these animals, which are symbiotic, still needs to be found in Indonesia. Spiders are important biocontrol agents in agricultural land. This study examined the relationship between bacteria potentially carried by spiders, as members of the Phylum Arthropoda, in chili plants grown in agroecosystems. This study aimed to determine the presence of bacteria carried by spiders in chili planting areas of the Banyumas Regency. This study found a species of spider (Oxyopes lineatipes) collected from chili crops in 3 (three) sub-districts in Banyumas Regency. From these spiders, 5 (five) bacteria isolates were found, both from inside the body and from the surface of the spider's body. The results of the hypersensitivity test showed that 2 (two) isolates were non-pathogenic bacteria, while the other 3 (three) isolates had potential as plant pathogens. However, further research is still being carried out regarding identifying the bacterial species found.
