Abstract

Accelerating national development requires a certain amount of foreign investment. Meanwhile, the state has an obligation to protect local business actors and workers who are clearly “threatened” by the influx of foreign investment. In fact, the entry of foreign investment is often accompanied by the entry of foreign workers (TKA) as one of the conditions for the entry of the intended investment. Ideally, foreign workers who enter Indonesia have higher qualifications than domestic workers so that they can carry out the process of transferring technology and / or transferring knowledge to local workers. In fact, many foreign workers who enter Indonesia do not have adequate qualifications, causing conflicts with local workers. These conflicts generally lead to a salary or wage gap that is not accompanied by superior competence. Based on this, this research is important to do in order to better understand the dilemma of placing foreign workers from the perspective of Human Resources (HR). This research is a descriptive study which analyzed qualitatively using secondary data and primary data. The results of this study are; disharmony between foreign workers and local workers is due to the lack of training for local workers. Meanwhile, the emergence of narrow nationalism among workers is caused by a lack of understanding of different cultures and values

Abstract

The existence of a negative stigma in society’s view for persons with disabilities makes them unable to show their optimal self-existence even though they competently have them. Not all industries or government agencies have implemented the rules whereby the agencies they manage should implement rules for employing persons with disabilities (the proportion is private sector 1 %, and government agencies 2%) referring to the rules mandated in Law no. 8 of 2016 concerning Persons with Disabilities. According to the perspective of Human Resources management, this is a challenge how the existence of persons with disabilities can get space without discrimination from all parties. The resultsof research showed that the inoptimal placement of human resources with disabilities occurred due to several factors, both from the person and the employer. The involvement of stakeholders has an important role in solving problems from associations, universities, communities and the government. Abstract

Gojek is one of the phenomenal transportation start-ups that use technology in most of its business activities. In managing many driver-partners, Gojek uses technology assistance, especially in carrying out recruitments, training, self-development, performance appraisal, and compensation. The use of technology in HR management from driver-partners has a positive impact and negative impact. The purpose of this research is to find the strengths, weaknesses, and problems that arise from the use of technology in managing the HR functions of Gojek driver-partners. This research used qualitative research methods. Researchers used a literature study to examine the use of technology in HR management from Gojek driver-partners and its problems. The use of technology lowers costs and increases efficiency. But it also causes several problems. It is hoped that this research can help companies and governments find an accurate solution for all parties. Other researchers can also use this research as the basis for further study.

Abstract

Islamic banking in Indonesia is experiencing an upward trend, which has an impact on the increasing demand for Islamic products. The organizational culture of Islamic banks is based on a system based on the Qur'an and As-Sunnah in the company's activities. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, with 21 informants from various circles. The implementation of Islamic organizational culture in improving performance and carrying out activities based on the MASLAHAH cultural value in each employee becomes a guideline even though employee performance is still in the progress stage of achieving business plan targets.

Abstract

Paradigma baik atau buruknya performa suatu perusahaan tidak terlepas dari kinerja sumber daya manusia sebagai motor penggeraknya. Terdapat beberapa faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan di suatu perusahaan seperti iklim organisasi yang menjadi ciri khas atau sebagai pembeda dari perusahaan lainnya dan etos kerja yang terdapat pada individu-individu karyawan. Pada penelitian ini akan membahas mengenai pengaruh iklim organisasi dan etos kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan baik secara parsial maupun secara simultan dengan jumlah sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 80 responden pada suatu perusahaan yang bergerak di bidang perkebunan pelat merah di Jawa Barat. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa iklim organisasi dan etos kerja berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan baik secara parsial maupun simultan.

Abstract

Maksud dan tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengetahui peranan pengurus pada KUD Mari Ayu Kelapa,. Mengetahui disiplin kerja karyawan pada KUD Mari Ayu Kelapa dan upaya-upaya apa saja yang dilakukan oleh pengurus dalam meningkatkan disiplin kerja karyawan pada KUD Mari Ayu Kelapa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode studi kasus dengan mendeskripsikan setiap faktor- faktor yang terkait melalui wawancara, observasi, pengumpulan data dengan kuisioner dan studi pustaka. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa peranan pengurus KUD Mari Ayu Kelapa secara keseluruhan telah dilaksanakan dengan baik artinya peranan pengurus dalam memainkan peranannya sebagai pemimpin secara keseluruhan sudah terlaksana sebagai yang diharapkan, namun perlu adanya upaya peningkatan dibeberapa indikayor penilaian peranan pengurus yang masih dalam kriteria cukup baik. Hal-hal yang perlu diperhatikan dan ditingkatkan oleh pengurus diantaranya membimbing dan mengarahkan tugas-tugas karyawan, pembuatan jaringan kerjasama anatara karyawan dengan pengurus, mengawasi informasi mengenai perubahan atau perkembangan  koperasi, mengembangkan rencana kegiatan untuk menambah pengetahuan dan keteramilan, membagi beban kerja secara adil kepada karyawan.

Abstract

This study examines whether knowledge sharing has influence on organizational performance, where Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) is used as a mediator connecting these two variables. ERP system is unique because it requires users who have more knowledge and have special skills, in contrast to usual users who usually do their job manually. In corporation world, an integrated system like ERP should be well-socialized at maximum rate to reach performance effectiveness and efficiency that will surely result in organizational productivity. Nonetheless, in many organizational cases there are still numerous employees who decline to share knowledge in regeneration process due to their fears of being replaced by younger ones and this keeps the knowledge sharing process on hold. With total of 500 employees in a textile company in Bandung County, the writer takes 250 samples as the population representation. Data analysis is undergone through Structure Equating Model (SEM) with assistance of SPSS application, the writer can see the relationship of knowledge sharing and its influence on organizational performance.

Abstract

The challenges of the times and the talent shortage have compelled businesses to develop and implement effective human resource management methods. Talent management is one of the successful human resource management tactics applied. If a company or organization is able to recruit individuals who are superior to its competitors, it will be able to create a superior organization. The implementation of talent management will fail if it is not supported by a selection system, specifically a system for identifying attainable performance results. With the implementation of talent management, the objective of this study. This study employs a qualitative approach using the literature review method. In the era of globalization, the achievement of organizational goals in terms of productivity may always be accomplished with high-quality products that meet market demand. For this reason, the Company must be able to secure the availability of the required talent in a timely manner, in a number and diversity commensurate with current demands, and with qualities that can be realized within the constraints of the organization's competitive advantage. It may be claimed that the organization's survival is highly contingent on the effectiveness of this process in attaining its vision, mission, and strategic objectives.

Abstract

Currently, Corona is a hot topic of discussion. Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS-COV-2), better known as the coronavirus, is a new type of coronavirus that causes infectious diseases in humans. The online learning system (on the network) is the answer for universities to continue to carry out academic activities. Online learning is a learning system without face-to-face directly between lecturers and students but is done virtually. Lecturers must ensure that teaching and learning activities continue while students are at home. The solution is that lecturers must be able to design learning activities as innovations by utilizing online media to continue running effectively. Communication between students and lecturers through video conferencing raises several problems: the low creativity of students, the difficulty of achieving communication effectiveness, and generating demotivation and disembodied behavior. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of (1) effectiveness of virtual lecturer communication based on student perspectives, (2) student demotivation, (3) student disembodied behavior, and (4) student creativity. This research uses a descriptive method. The sampling method used is incidental sampling, where the subjects studied are lecturers and students willing to participate in filling out research questionnaires. The number of lecturers in this study was 91 people from 25 universities in the city of Bandung, with a total of 100 courses, so a sample size of 200 sampling units was obtained, where the sampling unit was lecturer-subjects. The results showed that the student creativity variable was in the high category, the demotivating variable was in the low category, the disembodied behavior variable was in the moderate category, and the lecturer's communication effectiveness variable was in the very high category

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the effect of Virtual Transformational Leadership and Student Creativity on the Effectiveness of Virtual Learning in several universities throughout the city of Bandung. Using surveys and quantitative approaches, the research was conducted on 200 students and 200 lecturers in Bandung. The data were analyzed descriptively with the PLS Structural Equation Model (Garson, 2018). It was found that Virtual Transformational Leadership and Student Creativity positively influence the Effectiveness of Virtual Learning in several universities throughout the city of Bandung. Thus, the transformational leadership style approach used by lecturers was sufficient to encourage the increase in the effectiveness of virtual learning, and the creativity possessed by students greatly encouraged the increase in the effectiveness of virtual learning. This research is expected to impact the implementation of learning in all educational units, which are converted into virtual learning, into an effective and efficient learning implementation amidst the limitations of the existing infrastructure.
