Abstract

Latar belakang penelitian ini adalah penurunan kinerja karyawan yang tercermin dalam beberapa indikasi seperti menurunnya penilaian kinerja karyawan dan penurunan capaian hasil kerja. Penurunan ini dikarenakan tingkat motivasi karyawan dalam bekerja masih rendah. Permasalahan ini harus segera diatasi, karena karyawan merupakan faktor utama penentu keberhasilan perusahaan. Apabila masalah ini dibiarkan maka akan mengancam, mengganggu dan menghambat aktivitas PT Difa Kreasi dalam mencapai tujuannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian penghargaan dan hukuman terhadap motivasi kerja serta implikasinya pada kinerja karyawan. Objek yang menjadi unit analisis dalam penelitian ini adalah karyawan PT Difa Kreasi. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif, verifikatif, dan metode yang digunakan yaitu eksplanatori survei dengan unit analisis seluruh populasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah model persamaan struktural Partial Least Square dengan alat bantu software komputer SmartPLS 3.2.7. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa pemberian penghargaan dan hukuman berpengaruh positif signifikan terhadap peningkatan kinerja karyawan, baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung melalui motivasi kerja.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the empirical conditions related to poor performance of human resources in various institutions in Indonesia. This research focuses on the uneven gains of competitive human resources due to workers’ characters which still prioritize routines and the fact that quality-oriented work culture has not been strongly established.. The solution offered is a model of human resource management that emphasizes the interaction between personal and situational factors that are directed at the creation of improved performance and productivity, as stated in behaviourist theory. Based on the above explanation, the aim of this second year research is to measure the effects of the two previously mentioned factors on performance. The research adopted quantitative approach with explanatory survey method. First year research was focused on an exploration with inductive approach to map the determining factors for variables that will build a model of human resource management in achieving superior performance. Second year research used explanatory survey, combining multiple regression analysis techniques to test the causal relation between variables, while the third year research will use Research and Development method to test the hyphothetical model. The subjects of this research were employees in educational institutions (Indonesia University of Education and Bandung State Polytechnic ), banks (West Java-Banten Bank and Indonesian People’s Bank), business institutions (Advent Hospital), and government institutions (Local Government Agencies in Bandung). The size of the samples was taken proportionally from each work unit by using proportionate random sampling. The number of units of analysis was 239 respondents determined by Solvin formula. The instruments of this research consisted of questionnaires, interview guide, and documentary study. The instruments were validated by expert judgment. The data were processed with the aid of SPSS version 21 and AMOS to find the causal relationship between variables, and regression analysis to identify variables forming superior performance. Based on the findings, it can be concluded that all personal aspects and situational aspects were proven to have significantly positive effects and contributions to create superior performance. The hypothetical model developed in this first and second year research will be tested in the next year’s research.

Abstract

The low performance of employees which is illustrated by the phenomenon of a decline and increase in the performance of PT Perkebunan Nusantara VIII is a problem in the company's organization. If this problem is not addressed immediately, it will have an impact on the achievement of the company's management objectives which in turn also affect the performance, productivity and sustainability of the company. The research objective is to analyze about (1) strategic leadership and employee performance of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara VIII; (2) the influence of strategic leadership on the performance of employees of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara VIII. Respondents in this study were employees of PT. Perkebunan Nusantara VIII, the population in this study were employees of PT Perkebunan Nusantara VIII 16815 people, with a minimum sample size of 364 people. The data analysis technique used in this study uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SPSS computer software tools.

Abstract

The current business development is entering the industry era 4.0. To anticipate the development of the industry era 4.0, employee performance aspect in human resource management becomes very important. Problems in this research is the low innovative behavior of employees described by the phenomenon of decline and increase performance of employee performance PT. Perkebunan Nusantara VIII (PTPN VIII) in Industrial era 4.0 in Indonesia. If the human resource problem is not addressed immediately, it will have an impact on the achievement of corporate management objectives which in turn also affect the performance, productivity, competitiveness and sustainability of the company. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze employee perceptions on (1) the effectiveness of knowledge creation and the level of innovative behavior (2) Effect of the effectiveness of knowledge creation on the level of innovative behavior. The research method used a quantitative approach that is descriptive and verification through descriptive survey and explanatory survey. Respondents and research population are employees of PTPN VIII as many as 3999 people, with sample size of 364 people. The data analysis technique used Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with SPSS and AMOS 24 software tools. The findings of the research show that (1) Knowledge creation is in effective category and innovative behavior is in high category. (2) Knowledge creation has a positive and significant effect on innovative behavior

Abstract

Inti masalah yang dikaji adalah bagaimana proses belajar mengajar pada mata kuliah Manajemen Mutu berjalan secara efektif dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar mahasiswa melalui penerapan manajemen kelas. Penelitian ini terdiri dua Variabel yaitu Manajemen Kelas (X) dan Motivasi Belajar Mahasiswa (Y). Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survey dalam bentuk explanatory survey dengan cara penyebaran angket dengan model skala likert, yang dianalisis menggunakan regresi sederhana. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Prodi Pendidikan Manajemen Perkantoran yang sedang mengontrak Mata Kuliah Manajemen Mutu, yang berjumlah 40 orang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, didapatkan informasi bahwa (1) manajemen kelas di Program Studi Pendidikan Manajemen Perkantoran termasuk kategori efektif, (2) motivasi belajar mahasiswa di Program Studi Pendidikan Manajemen Perkantoran termasuk kategori sedang, (3) manajemen kelas berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar mahasiswa di Program Studi Pendidikan Manajemen Perkantoran. Hasil penelitian diharapkan secara teoritis akan memberikan kontribusi langsung bagi pengembangan pembelajaran terutama terhadap inovasi dan kreativitas pengajar dalam melaksanakan Proses Belajar Mengajar.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of office spatial on work effectiveness of employees by using survey method. This study performed data collection by using a questionnaire with a range of scores 1 to 5. Respondents of the study consisted of the employees of the Office of Education of Bandung City. This study used simple regression analysis as the data analysis technique. The results reveal that the office spatial brings positive effects on the work effectiveness of employees. Therefore, the work effectiveness of employees can be improved through the improvement of office spatial conditions.ABSTRAKPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh tata ruang kantor terhadap efektivitas kerja pegawai dengan menggunakan metode survey. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan angket dengan rentang skor antara 1 sampai 5menggunakan model rating scale. Responden dalam penelitian ini adalah para pegawai Dinas Pendidikan Kota Bandung. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa tata ruang kantor memiliki pengaruh positif terhadap efektivitas kerja pegawai. Oleh karena itu, efektivitas kerja pegawai dapat meningkat melalui adanya peningkatan kondisi tata ruang kantor.
