Abstract

This study aims to find out and describe how the frame structure was formed by Tirto.Id and Kumparan online media in reporting Habib Bahar bin Smith's speech cases to President Joko Widodo. The analytical method used is framing analysis according to Pan Zhongdang and Gerald M. Kosicki. The results of this study indicate, based on an analysis of the syntactic structure, Tirto.Id and Kumparan want to look neutral or impartial. Rhetorical structure, both Tirto.Id and Kumparan emphasized that Habib Bahar was guilty, besides that Tirto.Id encouraged the Police to resolve this case objectively and indiscriminately, while Kumparan was seen trying to accentuate the life of Habib Bahar. In Script structure, both of these media both lack the completeness of script elements (5W + H) in several news articles posted. From the thematic structure, the themes related to the information conveyed by Kumparan appear to be wider than Tirto.Id, this is evidenced by the greater reporting portion. However, judging from the writing of information, Tirto.Id looks more skilled than Kumparan, Tirto.id writes and compiles information in a coherent and neat manner. Abstract

The high maternal mortality rate and infant mortality rate encourage the Karawang regency government through the Karawang District Health Office to increase public information literacy related to maternal and child health. Along with advances in information and communication technology the Karawang District Health Office launched an android-based application called Sayangi Ibuku. The purpose of this study was to find out how the communication efforts of the Karawang District Health Office in order to provide maternal and child health information through the Sayangi Ibuku application, this research uses qualitative research methods with a case study approach. The results of this study are the Karawang District Health Office using leaflets, browsers and training village coordinator midwives to convey the existence of the Sayangi Ibuku application, the Sayangi Ibuku application contains knowledge about female reproduction, pregnancy preparation, healthy pregnancy and general health information related to mother and child.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the motives of health workers who are still carrying out their profession during the COVID-19 pandemic and how the quality of health family communication during the COVID-19 pandemic. This research uses descriptive qualitative research method by collecting interview data online through zoom. The results of this study indicate that there is a motive for health workers who are still carrying out their profession during the COVID-19 pandemic, it is part of the profession that must be carried out because from the beginning they chose to work as health workers and during the COVID-19 pandemic if health workers did not carry out their obligations seriously. then this pandemic will never end. Communication barriers that occur due to difficulties in meeting with family members are replaced by the presence of communication technology. This even affects the quality of communication in the form of closeness and support among family members.

Abstract

The Karawang Regency's progress in reducing maternal mortality through an expanding (EMAS) program does not inherently reduce maternal mortality. The change in the incidence of postpartum mother mortality has led the Government of the Karawang Regency to a breakthrough by implementing an appreciation of the level of mothers’ comprehension during the postpartum period between fathers. This research investigated the extent of the father's communication process in Kelas Bapak to improve the father's awareness of maternal health over the postpartum. This study employs descriptive qualitative methods of research. The study results found that Kelas Bapak inspired families to treat maternal health at the Regional General Hospital of Karawang Regency during the postpartum period. This study concludes that one of the causes of a father's lack of understanding about his mother is that his mother's health is unconcerned during the postpartum period.

Abstract

It's not easy being a mother and a father at the same time, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study aims to look at the communication experience of single mothers during the Covid-19 pandemic, this research uses a phenomenological qualitative method approach. The results of the research are that during the Covid-19 pandemic, many parents have difficulty communicating in parenting where two parents also carry out the dual function of being parents as well as being teachers for the benefit of children who also carry out learning activities at home, single mothers experience negative experiences at the same time. positive experience when carrying out the function of being both a mother and a father at the same time. Negative experiences are felt when mothers have to work for a living and become teachers for children who do learning activities at home, mothers find it difficult to communicate with children asking for educational functions usually carried out by teachers at school. A positive experience was felt by mothers during the Covid-19 pandemic when they were able to share difficulties and children could understand the condition of mothers who had to carry out the role of a single mother. This research is important to do in order to provide understanding to policy makers to consider the psychological condition of the family when they have to follow government policies to stay at home.

Abstract

The abundance of information related to the Covid-19 virus has created a crisis of public confidence in the massively spreading information related to handling of the pandemic. Professionals in the field of communication and health must produce reliable health information. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct training for health workers on carrying out health literacy to patients and the community using social media. With the expertise possessed by the servant in collaboration with the Indonesian National Nurses Association, the Karawang Hospital Commissariat became a facilitator in Social Media-Based Effective Communication Training at Karawang Hospital. This event was conducted online using the zoom.us application, followed by health workers in the Karawang Regional Hospital. This event is expected to improve the skills of health workers to produce health information and disseminate it to the broader community so that the Covid-19 virus problem can be resolved immediately.

Abstract

Seiring dengan maraknya pembukaan caffe di Indonesia, caffe tidak lagi hanya berfungsi sebagai tempat untuk makan dan minum, Caffe berubah fungsi menjadi sebuah gaya hidup yang semakin marak pembukaannya. Penelitian ini membahas mengenai strategi komunikasi yang dilakukan oleh Café Bestfriend Karawang ditengah berkembangnya usaha yang bergerak di bidang kuliner di kota Karawang. Dengan tujuan untuk menjelaskan mengenai strategi komunikasi yang dilakukan Cafe Bestfriend Karawang dalam meningkatkan kepuasan pelanggan. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan mendeskripsikan mengenai strategi komunikasi yang dilakukan oleh Café Bestfriend Karawang dengan melakukan wawancara mendalam dan observasi terhadap pengelola dan pembeli sebagai informan, yang dianggap perlu bagi peneliti dan menguasai ketika saat melakukan penelitian. Strategi komunikasi yang dilakukan oleh Café Bestfriend Karawang adalah melalui empat kegiatan yaitu penjaminan kualitas rasa dari produknya, penentuan harga yang terjangkau, promosi melalui media sosial dan word of mouth, dan penentuan place yang strategis dan konsep bangunan yang unik. Dimana semua strategi itu berhasil menaikan kepuasan pelanggan Café Bestfriend Karawang. Untuk kekurangan strategi pemasaran bagi Café Bestfriend Karawang yaitu akun Instagram yang tidak mencantumkan menu dan harga, hal ini sedikit membuat konsumen ragu untuk berkunjung ke Café Bestfriend Karawang itu sendiri.

Abstract

Thrifting is an activity to buy used goods or can be called a saving method. Thrifting currently continues to be a trend for some people, especially for millennials because now there are many people or shops starting to sell used goods and there has been a thrifting event like in Bogor, namely the Bogor thrift market. This study aims to explain that there is a motive or purpose behind the Bogor millennials carrying out thrifting activities. This study also reveals how Bogor millennials interpret thrifting itself and the lifestyle methods developed by Bogor millennials who carry out thrifting activities. This study uses a phenomenological method with a qualitative approach. The approach used in this research is Alfred Schutz's phenomenological approach. In this approach there are 'because of motive' and 'in order to motive' from the actions of the Bogor millennials who carry out thrifting activities. With 5 speakers, namely Bogor millennials who like to do thrifting who have certain criteria and are willing to participate in this research until the end. The results of this study are showing that the Bogor millennials interpret thrifting as a process of shopping for used goods that has become a passion or lifestyle for fashion trends. They do thrifting because of the environment of friends, family, hobbies, and the economy, while the reason they want to achieve is because the price is relatively cheap, limited, high value and for resale.Keywords : Thrifting,lifestyle,fashion ,fenomenologi

Abstract

Berawal dari ketertarikan peneliti untuk mengangkat bagaimana Swiss Bel Inn membentuk citranya dengan menggunakan kegiatan marketing public relations. Kegiatan marketing public relations yang diangkat oleh Swiss Bel Inn ini berbentuk special event berjudul Saturday Barbeque Night yang diadakan secara rutin oleh Swiss Bel Inn Karawang pada Sabtu malam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kegiatan Marketing Public Relations berpengaruh terhadap pembentukan citra perusahaan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekaatan kuantitatif dengan analisis data path analysis dengan dukungan dari teori Integrated Marketing Communication. Teori Integrated Marketing Communications adalah teori yang menerangkan bahwa terdapat strategi dalam proses bisnis yaitu seputar membuat perencanaan, pembangunan, pengeksekusian, dan pengevaluasian pelaksanaan program komunikasi merek yang terkordinasi pada konsumen, pelanggan, atau sasaran lain yang relevan dengan audiens ekternal dan internal. Hasil dari penelitian ini menemukan bahwa bentuk, isi dan frekuensi kegiatan marketing public relations yang dilakukan oleh Swiss Bel Inn Karawang yaitu special event Saturday Barbeque Night berpengaruh terhadap pembentukan citra Swiss Bel Inn Karawang bagi responden dilihat dari segi presepsi, kognisi, afeksi serta motivasi.Kata Kunci: Marketing Humas, Event, Citra
