Optimizing the use of solar energy still needs to be carried out research to obtain the desired efficiency value, one of the factors that causes the photovoltaic efficiency value to decrease due to changing temperature changes. The research activity begins with tool design, tool construction and photovoltaic testing. One of the parameters that affect temperature changes is the fluid flow rate. The purpose of writing this article is to analyze the heat transfer rate in photovoltaics based on experimental changes in the working fluid flow rate. Photovoltaic Monocrystaline type with dimensions of length 60 cm, width 54 cm. Photovoltaic has a cover on the back using acrylic with a thickness of 5 mm. Data were collected by measuring the amount of solar intensity, photovoltaic temperature. Measurement of the amount of solar radiation intensity using a solar power meter, photovoltaic temperature using a type K Thermocouple. The results of this study showed that the highest temperature achieved was 68.8 oC, at a flow rate of 35 ml / minute. While the highest temperature increase at the flow rate of 45 ml / minute was 62.3%. For the highest efficiency achieved was 84.31%. It can be concluded that the smaller the water flow rate, the faster the hot water temperature will be obtained.
