Abstract

This study aims to find out and to stress: (1) the effect of the application of learning strategies on students' Akidah Akhlah learning outcomes, (2) theeffect of learning motivation on student Akidah Akhlah learning outcomes, and (3) the interaction between learning strategies and learning motivation towards Akidah Akhlak learning outcomes. The population of this study was all students in class V MIN Sei Mati Medan consisting of 3 classes. Based on Cluster Random sampling techniques. The research instrument is a test used to obtain learning outcome data and questionnaires to obtain data on student learning motivation. The analysis technique is two-way Anova at significance α = 0.05 followed by the Scheffe test. The results showed: (1) the average learning outcomes of students taught with collaborative learning strategies higher than the average learning outcomes of students taught with competitive learning strategies, (2) the average learning outcomes of students with high learning motivation higher than the learning outcomes of students with low learning motivation, and (3) there is an interaction between learning strategies and learning motivation towards Akidah Akhlak learning outcomes.

Abstract

In the development of learning, it is very important to consider the characteristics of students to choose the appropriate approach in the learning activities. Teaching staff as the organizer of learning activities are required to seek the interaction of learners with other components of the learning system optimally. This research reveals about the efforts to improve student learning outcomes in the course by applying case study method strategy. The selection and application of learning strategy of the case method in learning course and learning Evaluation is conducted in accordance with the characteristics of the Learning Evaluation course itself which requires thinking skills and interaction skills from the students to understand the materials contained therein. The method used in this research is classroom action research. The results showed that the implementation of case study method strategy can improve learning outcomes in the course of Evaluation of Learning. This is evident from the increasing percentage of students in the eight aspects observed from both cycles carried out in the action of this study. This fact is supported by the result of t test statistic test where obtained tct = 7,17 while ttable price = 1,682 so it can be interpreted that applying of case study method strategy can improve learning result of learning course lesson.

Abstract

The fast development of advance science and technology in the twentieth century has forced the people to change and adjust their ways of thinking and acting. Any society or nation does not adjust themselves to the changes around them will be left behind and isolated. As the effect of the radical changes, the social and commercial organizations are demanded to change to be able to survive and develop. The problem is how to manage and lead the organizations properly applying the new paradigm of the twentieth century. This article critically discusses the paradigm shift in the twentieth century resulted by the fast development of science and technology and in the other side it brought some problems such as borderless nations or globalization. The deductive and inductive analysis of the problems in this article concludes that educational organizations in particular should be proactive and absorb the positive changes occurring in their environment and in the world. Management and leadership within the educational institution should be based on the learning organization principles to survive, develop, and complete.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe: (1) the positive and significant contribution of the application of the learning method to the learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education, (2) the positive and significant contribution of learning activities to the learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education, and (3) the positive and significant contribution of the application. Learning methods and learning activities together on the learning outcomes of Islamic Religious Education?.The research was conducted at the Sei Bejangkar Region Private Junior High School. This research is a quantitative study with a correlation research method. The population in this study was all students of class VIII which consisted of 2 classes with a total of 72. All students were used as research samples. The data collection instruments used was questionnaires and tests. The data analysis used is correlation and regression. The research findings show: (1) there is a positive and significant contribution between the application of learning methods and learning outcomes with a correlation number of 0.354 with the regression line equation Ŷ = 71.60 + 0.23 X1, (2) there is a positive and significant contribution between learning activities and outcomes. Learn with the correlation number 0.473 with the regression line equation Ŷ = 68.96 + 0.28X2. and (3) there is a positive and significant contribution between the application of learning methods and learning activities with learning outcomes with a correlation number of 0.549 with the regression line equation Ŷ = 138.80 + 0.18X1 + 0.25X2. The effective contribution of the variable application of learning methods to learning outcomes is 9.90%, while the effective contribution of learning activity variables to learning outcomes is 20.00%.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out: (1) a positive and significant relationship between self-concept and work motivation of the learning citizens, (2) a positive and significant relationship between commitment to the task and work motivation of the citizens, and (3) a positive and significant relationship between self-concept and commitment to the task together with the work motivation. The study population was all citizens learning 54 Tanjung Balai City Course and Training Institute, totaling 54 people. The entire population was sampled as a study. The research instrument used was a Likert scale questionnaire. Requirement test is performed to test the normality, linearity, and independence of the independent variables. Data analysis techniques used correlation and regression and simple correlation and regression and multiple correlations at the significance level α = 0.05. The research findings show: (1) there is a positive and significant relationship between self-concept and the work motivation of citizens learning. It means that the higher and more positive self-concept, the higher and more positive is work motivation by making an effective contribution of 13.82%. (2) There is a positive and significant relationship between commitment to the task and work motivation of citizens learning. This means that the higher and more positive the commitment to the task, the higher and more positive is the work motivation of the citizens learning by making an effective contribution of 8.74%, and (3) there is a positive and significant relationship together between self-concept and commitment to the task with the work motivation of citizens learning. This means that the higher and more positive the self-concept and commitment to the task, the higher and more positive is the work motivation of the citizens studying the Tanjung Balai Shopy Course and Training Institute by making an effective contribution of 22.60%.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the magnitude of the impact of memorizing the Quran on the logical-mathematical intelligence of students at the Private MTs Al-Jamaiyah Medan in the 2021/2022 academic year. This research is research that uses a quantitative approach and a kind of ex-post research. In this research, there are two variables, the independent variable is the memorization of the Quran and the dependent variable is mathematical logical intelligence. The population in this research amounted to 105 students. The sampling technique used simple random sampling. The data analysis method used was simple linear regression analysis. Guided by the results of data analysis, it was found that there is an effect of memorizing the Quran on mathematical logical intelligence. The value of determination shows that 74.1% of memorizing the Quran affects students' logical-mathematical intelligence and the remaining 25.9% is influenced by other factors

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to determine whether there is an influence of emotional intelligence on independent learning at SMP Negeri 6 Binjai. This type of research uses quantitative research methods, with correlation techniques and analysis techniques with simple linear regression. The subjects in this study were class VIII students of SMP Negeri 6 Binjai in the 2019/2020 school year, totaling 283 students.Collecting data for the variables of emotional intelligence and learning independence using a questionnaire in the form of a Likert scale. The questionnaire was compiled based on variable indicators and checked by the thesis supervisor, and then tested on students. Based on data analysis, it showed that there was an influence of emotional intelligence on learning independence at SMP Negeri 6 Binjai. The conclusion is proven from the analysis of the calculation of the hypothesis test which shows that the calculated r is greater than rtable, which is 0.702 > 0.232 which can be accepted at a significant level of 5%.Keywords: Emotional intelligence, independent learning

Abstract

Adanya perkembangan teknologi yang sangat pesat berpengaruh dengan dunia pendidikan yang mengharuskan untuk lebih modern. Salah satunya yaitu dengan mengembangkan media pembelajaran yang berbasis android. Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif yang berbasis android pada materi bentuk aljabar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan menggunakan model penelitian ADDIE. Hasil dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan memenuhi indeks kevalidan 61%. Dengan rata-rata hasil validasi ahli media sebesar 95,8% dan 95,2% dari ahli materi dengan kategori sangat valid. Adapun hasil uji kepraktisan media diperoleh persentase nilai rata-rata sebesar 93,05% dengan kategori sangat praktis sehingga media ini praktis untuk digunakan. Hasil uji coba skala kecil media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan mampu meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi bentuk aljabar, hal ini dibuktikan dengan meningkatnya rata-rata hasil pretest 43,33 menjadi 79,13 pada nilai posttest dan diperkuat dengan nilai rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 0,5 dengan kategori sedang dan 63,67% dengan kategori cukup efektif. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran ini memenuhi kriteria kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan.

Abstract

Pada penenlitian ini metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriftip kuantitatif. Tujuan penelitian adalah (1) untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh minat belajar tehadap prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Agama Islam (2) untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya pengaruh perhatian orang tua terhadap prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Agama Islam (3) untuk mengetahahui ada tidaknya pengaruh antara minat belajar dan perhatian orang tua terhadap prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Agama Islam terhadap prestasi belajar pada mata pelajaran Agama Islam SMP Swasta Triana Tembung. Adapun populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah 112 siswa. Sedangkan sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 88 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik proportionate random sampling dan pengambilan sampel terdiri dari 4 kelas dari SMP Triana, dan seluruh populasi berkesempatan menjadi sampel. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan metode dokumentasi dan angket. Berdasarkan uji hipotesis pertama diketahui bahwa koefesien arah regresi dari variabel minat belajar (b1) adalah sebesar 0,266 atau positif, sehingga sehingga dapat diaktakan bahwa variabel minat belajar berpengaruh positif terhadap prestasi belajar. Berdasarkan uji keberartian kofesien regresi linier berganda untuk variabel minat belajar (b1) diperoleh thitung > ttabel yaitu 2.241>2,032 dan nilai signifikasi < 0,05 yaitu 0,032 dengan sumbangan relativ 48,2% dan sumbangan efektif sebesar 12,7%. Hasil uji hipotesis kedua diketahui bahwa koefesien arah regresi dari variabel perhatian orang tua (b2) adalah sebesar 0,220 atau positif, sehingga dapat dikatakan bahwa variabel perhatian orang tua berpengaruh positif terhadap prestasi belajar, berdasarkan uji keberartian kofesien regresi linier berganda untuk variabel perhatian orang tua (b3) diperoleh thitung>ttabel yaitu 2,328>2,032 dan niliai signifikansi< 0,05, yaitu 0,026 dengan sumbangan relatif sebesar 51,6% dan sumbangan efektif sebesar 13,5%. Selanjutnua, berdasarkan uji keberartian regresi linier berganda atau uji F dapat diketahui bahwa nilai Fhitung>Ftabel, yaitu 5.858>3,28 dan nilai signifikannya <0,05, yaitu 0,0002. Hal ini berarti minat belajar dan perhatian orang tua bersama-sama berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap prestasi belajar.

Abstract

Pada penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Pendekatan yang dilakukan oleh para guru dalam membina sikap kedisiplinan anak di RA An-Najamissa’adah Medan Tembung Kota Medan, (2) Alasan dan pertimbangan guru PAUD dalam memilih pendekatan tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif fenomenologis. Peneliti memperoleh data penelitian ini diperoleh dengan menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Dari temuan dalam penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa: (1) Bentuk kedisiplinan anak di RA An-Najamissa’adah meliputi: Menghargai waktu, budaya mengantri, menjaga kerapian dan kebersihan, sikap bertanggungjawab, sikap kemandirian dan jiwa kepemimpinan (membuat keputusan).  (2) Metode yang dilakukan oleh guru RA An-Najamissa’adah dalam membina sikap disiplin anak di RA An-Najamissa’adah meliputi: Metode Uswah (Keteladanan), metode pembiasaan dan metode penugasan, metode pemberian reward, metode pemberian punishment dan pembatasan waktu. (3) Dalam menjaga sikap kedisiplinan anak RA An-Najamissa’adah, guru melakukan pengawasan melalui: proses evaluasi di dalam kelas, dan bekerjasama dengan orang tua / wali murid.
