Abstract

Kebakaran hutan merupakan masalah yang serius karena dapat mengakibatkan dampak buruk terhadap lingkungan. Salah satu upaya pencegahan kebakaran hutan adalah membangun sistem informasi geografis (SIG) berbasis web untuk mengelola data histori titik api sebagai indikator terjadinya kebakaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membangun SIG berbasis web menggunakan perangkat lunak OpenGeo Suite 3.0. OpenGeo Suite merupakan aplikasi yang mengemas sistem manajemen basis data PostgreSQL dengan ekstensi spasial PostGIS dan server peta Geoserver sehingga memberikan kemudahan dalam pembangunan dan pengelolaan SIG berbasis web. SIG yang dibangun menyediakan fitur utama yaitu menampilkan peta Indonesia, fungsi pan map, zoom in, zoom out, dan fungsi pencarian persebaran titik api berdasarkan wilayah dan waktu. Dengan adanya SIG berbasis web ini, pengelolaan data histori titik api dapat dilakukan dengan mudah sehingga dapat membantu pengguna dalam penyediaan data histori dan persebaran titik api untuk wilayah Indonesia.Kata Kunci: OpenGeo Suite, sistem informasi geografis berbasis web, titik api.

Abstract

Abstract, Information literacy is an important skills for 21st century learners. One of methods to evaluate the implementation of information literacy program in school library is assessment of information literacy competence. The objectives of this research were to establish a standard of information literacy for Indonesian students and to design a webbasedinformation literacy assessment system. This research employed Delphi technique with two rounds questionnaire distributed among panelists of 9 experts. The experts consists of three school librarians, two teachers and four information literacy researchers. Six standards and 40 performance indicators were identified as information literacy standard. The design ofsystem resulted models which presented in System Flowchart, Data Flow Diagram and Entity-Relationship Diagram.Keywords: competency standard, information literacy assessment, web-based system

Abstract

The thesis is student study report which is accomplished as a requirement of graduation for Master program. Selecting study’s topic and advisors influence implementation of the study. Therefore, study’s topic is able to improve academic institution quality, however a large number of thesis documents on the repository cause difficulty to get information related to advisor’s expertness and the frequent or rare topic is former studied. Association rule mining can be used to mine information on the related item. This study aims to analyze advising patterns system in Master program on Agriculture based on supervisors and their topic research on metadata thesis of IPB repository and text documents of summary using data mining approach. The datas were collected from the repository of Bogor Agricultural University website and processed using R language programming. Pattern result of the reseach were that the most popular association on supervisor was occurred at support value of 0.00793 or equivalent to 7 theses and four popular topics were Botanical insecticide, Global warming, Upland Rice, and Land Use Change. The analysis result could be useful information to be reference or suggest future research or appropriate supervisor among agricultural.

Abstract

Today, the product sales at XYZ Bookstore are increase in accordance to the trend in society. In that case, high sales must be supported by good supply and on target. Product sold based on needs of consumers will make possibility to achieve high sales. Using the Sequential Pattern Mining approach, we can specify sales patterns of products in relation to another products. SPADE (Sequential Pattern Discovery using Equivalence classes) is an algorithm that can be used to find sequential patterns in a large database. This algorithm finds frequent sequences of the sales transaction data using database vertical and join process of the sequence. The results of SPADE algorithm is frequent sequences which are used to form the rules. Those can be used as predictors of other items that will be purchased by consumers in the future. The result of this study is a lot of unique sequence appears that can provide the best advice for Merchandiser Officer, for example, there are 1.468 sequences that prove the customer who bought the product in Children’s Book category will always bought the same thing in the others day. This research produce some recommendation, one of the recommendation is Childrens Book category has a very high chance of being a Best Seller for a long time so that the purchasing officer on XYZ bookstore should ensure that the products supply of the category is always safe throughout the year. It means SPADE is successfully used to provide the advice and Merchandiser Officer must ensure the stock of that product is always available to avoid Lost Sales.

Abstract

A Pineapple (Ananas comosus (L.) Merr.) It is one of the leading commodities in the Indonesian horticultural sub-sector. Based on data from PDSIP in the last 5 years the development of pineapple production has increased but not too high as well as the harvested area. One of the areas that cultivate pineapple plants in Riau Province is Kampar Regency. Its production in 2015 was 8,482 tons, down from 20,046 tons in 2013. However, this amount is not optimal considering the area in Kampar Regency is still large enough for pineapple cultivation. Kampar District has a potential peatland of around 191,363 ha. About half of the area is thin peat, while the rest varies from moderate to deep peat. The success or failure of peatland management for cultivated land is highly dependent on the condition of its characteristics and the mastery and scientific understanding of the character of peat. This shows the need to evaluate the carrying capacity of land-based on its suitability so that it can be used as a guide in wise land-use planning. This study aims to create a fuzzy inference system model with Mamdani method in determining the agroecological suitability of peatlands for pineapple plants, this is due to the target class of land suitability parameters based on FAO provisions, namely S1, S2, S3, and N. Based on the obtained model, decision support systems will be developed for the suitability of peatland agroecology for pineapple plants.

Abstract

Data histori titik panas sebagai salah satu indikator kebakaran hutan dan lahan dapat dikelola dengan teknologi data warehouse dan sistem spatial online analytical processing (SOLAP). Pada penelitian sebelumnya telah dilakukan peningkatan kinerja terhadap sistem tersebut sehingga titik panas yang mampu dihasilkan meningkat menjadi 1500 titik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kinerja sistem SOLAP data titik panas yang telah dibangun dalam penelitian sebelumnya. Peningkatan kinerja meliputi konfigurasi dari sisi perangkat lunak seperti peningkatan Java runtime environment (JRE), peningkatan server Apache Tomcat, dan peringkasan proses Javascript object notation (JSON) sedangkan spesifikasi perangkat keras menggunakan spesifikasi RAM dan processor yang sama dengan penelitian sebelumnya. Jumlah titik panas hasil query yang mampu dihasilkan dari konfigurasi tersebut meningkat menjadi 5344 titik.Kata kunci: kebakaran hutan, spatial data warehouse, spatial OLAP, titik panas

Abstract

Pelaksanaan tugas akhir merupakan suatu rangkaian kegiatan yang harus dilakukan oleh mahasiswa untuk memperoleh gelar Sarjana pada Program Studi S1 Ilmu Komputer FMIPA IPB. Tahapan pelaksanaan tugas akhir di Program Studi S1 Ilmu Komputer FMIPA IPB terdiri dari beberapa tahap, yaitu pengajuan topik dan dosen pembimbing oleh mahasiswa, kolokium, bimbingan tugas akhir, praseminar, seminar, sidang, dan penerbitan surat keterangan lulus (SKL). Tetapi, pelaksanaan dan pemantauan tugas akhir saat ini masih kurang efektif karena masih dilakukan secara manual dengan berkas-berkas dan fail Microsoft Excel. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan sistem berbasis web apps untuk pelaksanaan dan pemantauan tugas akhir. Sistem ini dikembangkan dengan menggunakan Angular 2 framework dan NodeJS. Sistem telah berhasil dikembangkan sesuai dengan prosedur operasional baku (POB) dan beberapa perbaikan maupun penambahan fitur. Pengembangan sistem ini menggunakan metode adaptive software development (ASD) yang terbagi menjadi 4 iterasi. Hasil pengujian kepada beberapa pengguna menunjukkan bahwa semua fitur berhasil diimplementasikan. Kata Kunci: adaptive software development, sistem informasi, tugas akhir, web apps

Abstract

Kabut asap dari kebakaran lahan gambut mengandung berbagai macam polutan seperti CO dan CO2. Polutan tersebut dapat berimplikasi buruk pada kesehatan masyarakat sekitar peristiwa itu terjadi yang berupa Infeksi Saluran Pernafasan Atas (ISPA). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuat model spasial untuk prediksi konsentrasi polutan kabut asap yang berupa CO dan CO2 dari kebakaran lahan gambut di Sumatra tahun 2015. Model spasial dibentuk menggunakan algoritme support vector regression (SVR) dengan kernel radial basis function (RBF) dengan melihat konsentrasi polutan dari beberapa titik tetangga. Parameter tuning dilakukan untuk mendapatkan nilai parameter paling optimal dari SVR. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model spasial prediksi konsentrasi CO terbaik didapatkan pada gamma dengan nilai 20 yang menghasilkan root mean squared error (RMSE) dan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 1,174242×10-8 dan 0,5879287. Model spasial prediksi konsentrasi CO2 terbaik dibentuk pada gamma dengan nilai 10 yang menghasilkan RMSE dan nilai koefisien korelasi sebesar 9,843717×10-8 dan 0,6058418. Hasil prediksi dari model yang dibentuk telah dapat mengikuti pola nilai aktual konsentrasi polutan. Kata Kunci: CO, CO2, kabut asap, model spasial, support vector regression.

Abstract

The quality of a university is not only measured by its academic program inputs but also by its processes, outputs, and outcomes. Performance measurement can be conducted by looking at its achievements at a certain period of time compared with its targets and baseline. It is a fact that the academic implementation of the Undergraduate Program of Computer Science of Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Science IPB is unsatisfactory viewed from the average GPA and study duration during the academic years of 2009-2013. This study aims to to describe the quality of the implementation of the Undergraduate Program of Computer Science and the efforts made by the stakeholders in maintaining and improving the quality and to formulate alternative strategies to obtain better quality. Fishbone analysis method was used to determine the cause of an unsatisfactory average GPA and longer study duration, and descriptive analysis was used to describe the academic quality of the undergraduate program of Computer Science. The results showed the academic quality of the academic year of 2009-2013 has not reached the targets set in the strategic plan, but if seen from the figures, its accomplishments have nearly reached the targets; therefore, it can be said the quality is reasonably good. Constructive efforts in running the academic administration of the study program have also been implemented by the management.Keywords: academic quality, period of study, quality improvement, FMIPA IPB
