Abstract

Penyuluh pertanian merupakan ujung tombak suksesnya pembangunan pertanian. Sejauh mana peran penyuluh pertanian terhadap produksi padi sawah petani adalah tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini. Lokasi penelitian di Tasikmalaya. Penelitian menggunakan metode sampling sederhana, Data primer diperoleh dengan wawancara dan observasi terhadap 68 responden petani padi sawah,,kemudian dianalisis menggunakan uji regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyuluh berperan terhadap dinamika petani dalam memproduksi padi sawah. Penyuluh pertanian menunjukkan kinerja yang baik sebagai pembimbing maupun konsultan. Namun dalam hal penerapan teknologi belum  mampu menggerakkan  petani  oleh karena  kepemilikan lahan yang sempit. Demikian juga penyuluh sebagai organisator belum begitu berperan karena petani lebih mempercayakan ketua kelompok sebagai organisator. Dengan demikian dibutuhkan peningkatan peran penyuluh pertanian agar mencapai kategori baik atau sangat baik.

Abstract

Abon ikan merupakan inovasi baru diversifikasi pangan dari ikan segar yang berukuran besar yang sudah menurun nilai jualnya. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengidentifikasi dan menganalisis preferensi konsumen terhadap abon ikan melalui atribut-atribut yang mempengaruhi konsumen dalam pengambilan keputusan. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis konjoin. Penelitian ini menggunakan empat atribut yaitu rasa, warna, tekstur dan harga abon ikan. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan bahwa preferensi konsumen berfokus kepada hasil stimuli berdasarkan nilai kepuasan dan kepentingan atribut di dalamnya. Pada atribut rasa abon ikan patin dengan nilai kepuasan 0,1769. Pada atribut warna memiliki nilai kepuasan 0,068 untuk abon ikan lele. Pada atribut tekstur abon ikan lele memiliki nilai kepuasan 0,072 dan atribut harga Rp 25.000 s.d. Rp 30.000 pada abon ikan patin dengan nilai kepuasan 0,766. Preferensi konsumen dalam memutuskan membeli abon ikan lebih berdasarkan kepentingan rasa walaupun harganya lebih tinggi yakni pada abon ikan patin.

Abstract

Food is the basic need of human beings, and to fulfill it is our right to secure food. Then lead to safe the food as better nutrition needs and lifestyle. Balck rice can meet both food safety and a healthy lifestyle. The research was conducted to investigate the correlation between agricultural extension role and farmer participation in black rice crops. The method used case study by the amount of sample by Yamane, Isaac, and Michel Formula accordingly. The collected data was primary and secondary data by direct questionnaire and literature study from internet and related institutions. Data analysis used Rank Spearman Test. The result showed a significant correlation and one direction deal with agricultural extension rule and farmer participation in black rice crops. The more agricultural extension rule, the more farmer participation in black rice crops. Black rice consumer was not as much as white rice. Black rice consumer refers to consume deal with healthy lifestyle.

Abstract

The traditional door to door marketing process has become a problem in the distribution of galunggung coffee. Then there needs to be a breakthrough by local stakeholders or entrepreneurs who work closely with farmers in the right marketing system in the distribution of Galunggung coffee. The specific purpose of this research is to expand the marketing of the Galunggung coffee business by developing an online system in the form of E-commerce. The stages of this research include a needs analysis that is preparing all needs related to the research to be conducted. The next stage is the design which includes the design of conventional marketing systems and the design of e-commerce marketing systems. Based on the results of marketing the product on social media, 1,121 people saw parentas product advertisements, and 98% of accounts that did not follow a coffee parentas account. So, marketing coffee products includes an unknown account that has an interest in coffee. there is the result of the age range that sees product advertisements on social media. Ages 24-34 have more interest in coffee after age 18-24 who have an interest in coffee and aged 35-44 have little interest in coffee. So to do better marketing in the age range 24-34.

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has many media that can be used so that it has brought various changes to both extension workers and farmers. Digital media in the form of communication media that can be used today are virtual world media or internet media. Agricultural instructors have an important role in conveying information and are required to be able to use internet media to support their main tasks and functions as agricultural extension workers. In carrying out communication activities in the diffusion of innovation. The purpose of this study is to describe the perception of extension workers in the use of digital technology in the delivery of counseling. The study used a survey method with a sampling technique using random sampling consisting of 60 extension workers. Data analysis to measure the instructor's perception of the instructor's communication strategy in the use of digital media was done by calculating the score. The results showed that the communication strategy used by extension workers in delivering counseling to farmers could be applied so that farmers could carry out intensive communication activities using digital media more efficiently and effectively in delivering recommendations suggested in farming. Extension workers have a positive perception of communication strategies in utilizing information as seen from communication techniques, communication channels, communication messages and internet usage. Extension activities can be delivered anytime and anywhere, use information technology, can use existing sources on the internet to then make extension materials, can connect in real time using video conference or video streaming, have the ability to integrate various elements of text media, graphics , audio, and video in providing counseling to farmers.

Abstract

Food diversification of fish in strengthening livelihood food security is getting priority, particularly during the COVID-19 pandemic. Almost all habits and behavior have changed. The scarcity and distribution gaps of the supply chain occurred, and hopefully, the new normal era will soon come. The research carried out to know the consumer behavior in decision making to consume diversification products of original catfish shredded and analyze the most dominant affected attribute. The research used the Rank Spearman Correlation Test toward interviewed 100 respondents. The result indicated that consumer behavior has an essential role in decision making to consume agribusiness diversification products of catfish shredded. The correlation is the more paying attention, the more consumer decided to consume catfish shredded. The product can distribute well. Analysis of organoleptic concluded that consumers refer to catfish shredded. It has a soft texture, refine the structure, delicious taste, and easy to chew, whereas catfish shredded had odor. Suggestion to advance research to eliminate catfish odor sensory.

Abstract

Extension is a non-formal learning process to provide knowledge, training, technology, capital, and change the behavior of farmers to be more independent in making decisions. The role of the extension agent in extension activities is as a guide, organizer, technician and consultant to help farmers develop farming and increase production. This study aims to determine the effect of the role of agricultural extension workers on the production of lowland rice in Cibuniasih Village. The research method used is a survey and interviews with 68 respondents, namely rice farmers in Buniasih Village, then analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that the role of agricultural instructors had a significant effect of 66.6% on rice production in Cibuniasih Village. The role of agricultural instructors as supervisors and consultants has a significant influence on the results of lowland rice production, meaning that the performance of extension workers in mentoring and consulting activities with farmers is going well. However, the role of agricultural extension workers as organizers and technicians has not had a significant effect on rice production, because the introduction of technology is still not appropriate and the needs of farmers have not been met properly.

Abstract

Padi hitam merupakan pangan fungsional yang baik dikonsumsi bagi penderita penyakit degeneratif karena kandungan antosianin dan antioksidannya yang tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi keragaan karakter agronomi pada 5 aksesi (PH3, PH4, PH5, PH7, dan PH8) padi hitam asal Tasikmalaya. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan kelompok lengkap teracak satu faktor yaitu aksesi padi hitam. Data dianalisis menggunakan analisis ragam dan uji lanjut Duncan taraf 5%. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa aksesi berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, umur berbunga, umur panen, panjang malai, panjang daun bendera, jumlah gabah isi, dan jumlah gabah hampa. Aksesi PH5 (asal Indihiang) memiliki keragaan terbaik dari aksesi lainnya yaitu memiliki panjang daun bendera 29.9 cm, umur panen 104 hari setelah tanam dan jumlah gabah total 215 butir per malai dibandingkan dengan varietas Inpari 32 dan Situbagendit

Abstract

Singkong adalah salah satu tumbuhan yang menghasilkan panen dalam bentuk akar.Berdasarkan beberapa penelitian mengungkap bahwa tamanam singkong sebenarnya tidak hanyaproduktif dan menghasilkan panen dalam bentuk akar saja melainkan dari kulit, sampai daunsingkong pun dapat dijadikan sebagai hasil panen. Beberapa inovasi yang telah dilakukan olehmasyarakat dan ditemukan manfaat dari tumbuhan singkong, antara lain pembuatan papanpartikel dari batang singkong, pembuatan tempe daun singkong sebagai pengganti tempe kedelai,rengginang singkong, gula cair dari kulit singkong, kantong plastik dari singkong sebagai penggantikantong plastik konvensional, kulit singkong dapat digunakan untuk memadampan api, singkongdapat mengobati penyakit kanker, dan wajah lebih halus dengan masker singkong. Industrisingkong saat ini telah menemukan bioetanol singkong yakni bahan bakar nabati yang potensialsebagai pengganti bahan bakar minyak bumi. Namun, sangat disayangkan hanya sebagian kecildari sekian banyak masyarakat Indonesia yang mengetahui potensi tanaman sngkong tersebut.Langkah penting yang harus bertindak secara cepat adalah pemerintah dan para pemerhatitanaman singkong di Indonesia untuk melakukan sosialisasi kepada masyarakat terkait potensitanaman singkong yang sebenarnya. Jika potensi tanaman singkong yang sebenarnya diketahuioleh masyarakat, mungkin dalam hal ini penanaman singkong itu dapat dilakukan pengembangansecara serius di Indonesia.Kata Kunci : Paradigma Masyarakat, Tanaman Singkong, Tanaman Produktif

Abstract

California papaya is one of the leading commodities with good potential to be developed. Urug Village, Kawalu District, Tasikmalaya City is one of the centers papaya California fruit production. The purpose of this study is to identify the marketing channels for California papayas in Urug Village and to analyze the efficiency of marketing of California papayas in Urug Village. The analytical tool in this study uses the analysis of the marketing margin approach, farmer's share analysis, and profit and cost ratio analysis. The results showed that there were four marketing channels. A relatively efficient marketing channel is marketing channel III (farmer - retailer - consumer) because it has the smallest marketing margin, the largest farmer's share, and the ratio of profit to cost has a value of more than one.Keywords: marketing channel, california papayaABSTRAKPepaya California merupakan salah satu komoditas unggulan yang memiliki potensi yang cukup baik untuk terus dikembangkan. Kelurahan Urug, Kecamatan Kawalu, Kota Tasikmalaya merupakan salah satu sentra produksi buah pepaya california. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu mengidentifikasi saluran pemasaran pepaya California di Kelurahan Urug dan menganalisis efisiensi pemasaran pepaya California di Kelurahan Urug. Alat analisis dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis pendekatan marjin pemasaran, analisis farmer’s share, dan analisis rasio keuntungan dan biaya. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa terdapat empat saluran pemasaran. Saluran pemasaran yang relatif efisien adalah saluran pemasaran III (petani – pedagang pengecer – konsumen) karena memiliki marjin pemasaran terkecil, farmer’s share paling besar, dan rasio keuntungan terhadap biaya memiliki nilai lebih dari satu.Kata kunci:  saluran pemasaran, pepaya california
