Abstract

Razor clam (Solen lamarckii) is a type of pelecypoda that has high economic value on the Api api village waters, Bengkalis Regency. This research aims to study the population structure and reproduction of razor clam. The study was carried out over 2 month period from September to October 2019 at Api api village waters, Bengkalis Regency. Razor clam samples were collected by using a 1 x 1 m2 frame that laid along transect. There were 5 plots and 5 subplots along the transect as replications. The result showed, the population density of razor clams is 3.12 species/m2 in September and 2.88 species/m2 in October 2019. The distribution pattern of razor clams was uniform. While, the most common size of razor clam is the medium size category (40-60 mm) both in September and in October 2019. The average value of gonado somatic index (GSI) was 2.28-8.60%. Histological analysis indicated that maturity gonad stage of razor clam was commonly found in September is maturity gonad stage I (60%), while in October is stage III (40%) and stage IV(30%).

Abstract

This research was conducted in the village of Sambungo, Silaut District, Pesisir Selatan Regency, West Sumatra Province in August 2020. The purpose of this study was to determine the structure of the macrozoobenthos community which includes: type, density, diversity, uniformity, dominance and distribution patterns. Sampling was done randomly at 3 stations, each station consists of 3 transects and each transect consists of 3 plots, namely in the upper middle and lower in the intertidal zone. The results of the study found 5 classes of macrozoobenthos with 9 species. The abundance values ​​obtained ranged from 3.33 - 5.11 ind/m2. The diversity index value ranges from 1.18-1.54 which is classified as moderate, while the dominance index value ranges from 0.39-0.52, namely there was no species that dominate, the uniformity index value ranges from 0.03-0.06 which is not balanced and the value of the distribution pattern ranges from 2.81 to 3.76 with the pattern of distribution in groups

Abstract

Salah satu permasalahan yang ada di masyarakat Desa Pongkai Istiqomah KecamatanXIII Koto Kampar, Kabupaten Kampar yaitu ketidakefektifan kegiatan pendidikan danbelum optimalnya usaha masyarakat untuk peningkatan kesehatan. Salah satu programyang diterapkan di Desa Pongkai Istiqomah adalah bantuan bimbingan belajar danpenanaman TOGA. Bantuan bimbingan belajar ini bertujuan untuk membantu guruPAUD, murid TK dan SDN di Desa Pongkai Istiqomah dalam proses belajar mengajardan meningkatkan pengetahuan. Semntra tujuan diadakannya program PenanamanTOGA bertujuan untuk menciptakan lingkungan dan masyarakat yang sehat,memudahkan masyarakat Desa Pongkai Istiqomah untuk mendapatkan obat, serta sebagaialternatif bagi warga Desa Pongkai Istiqomah jika ada yang membutuhkan obat herbal.

Abstract

Jalan di beberapa desa memiliki permasalahan besar yaitu kerusakan yang terjadi di beberapa titik jalan dan tidak adanya rambu-rambu jalan. Masalah ini juga terjadi di Desa Gerbang Sari, Kecamatan Tapung Hilir, Kampar. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut dan mempermudah akses jalan ke dusun-dusun yang ada di Desa Gerbang Sari, Mahasiswa KUKERTA telah melakukan kegiatan pengadaan rambu-rambu jalan bagi dusun-dusun setempat guna mempermudah dan melengkapi sarana prasarana penunjuk arah. ke dusun- dusun. Kegiatan dilaksanakan dengan 4 (empat) tahapan kegiatan, yakni: 1. terlebih dahulu melakukan survei lapangan di lokasi yang nantinya akan menjadi titik pemasangan rambu-rambu jalan desa, 2. menyiapkan alat dan bahan untuk membuat rambu-rambu jalan desa, 3. dilakukan proses pengecatan dan 4. pemasangan rambu-rambu jalan desa oleh mahasiswa dibantu oleh pemuda dan masyarakat sekitar. Terdapat 11 rambu dengan nama jalur dan 1 denah lokasi. Program tersebut mendapat dukungan dan pendampingan dari pemuda dan masyarakat Desa Gerbang Sari sehingga dapat terlaksana dengan baik. Dalam proses kegiatan mulai dari persiapan hingga pelaksanaan program, tidak ditemukan kendala yang berarti. Selain itu, berdasarkan 3 indikator survei tingkat kepuasan masyarakat dan pengunjung desa terhadap pengadaan dan pemasangan rambu-rambu jalan menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat puas dengan program tersebut

Abstract

Community structure is a concept that studies the composition or composition of species and abundance in a community. Coastal waters are areas with a depth of less than 200 meters and there is a littoral area located between the highest tide and the lowest low tide or called the intertidal area. One of the community of organisms in this intertidal area is gastropods. This research was conducted from December 2021 to January 2022. The purpose of the study was to determine the structure of the gastropod community in the coastal waters of North Rupat District consisting of species, density, diversity index, uniformity index, dominance index, distribution pattern, and community similarity. As supporting data in this study, several environmental parameters were also measured which included water quality, sediment type and sediment organic matter content. The research method used is a survey method, where sampling using the quadrant transect method is carried out at 3 stations. Based on the results of the study found 14 species of gastropods. The species that were found in all stations were Indothais gradata. Gastropod density is 15.800 ind/ha. Diversity index value (H') 1.85, uniformity index (E) 0.70, dominance index (C) 0.24, distribution pattern (Id) 3.24 is clustered, species similarity index (Ss) between stations Tanjung Medang and Teluk Rhu 83% of species are almost the same and between stations Tanjung Medang and Tanjung Punak 15% and between stations Teluk Rhu and Tanjung Punak 17% are not the same. Water quality parameters as follows: temperature 27-28oC; salinity 30-31 ppt; pH 6-7. Sediment organic matter 0.50-2.28%, sand sediment type

Abstract

Salah satu permasalahan yang ada di masyarakat Desa Kubang Jaya, Kecamatan Siak Hulu, Kabupaten Kampar setelah wabah COVID 19 adalah kurangnya keefektifitasan dalam proses belajar. Salah satu program yang diterapkan di Desa Kubang Jaya adalah Bimbingan Belajar Masyarakat. Tujuan diadakannya program BIMBEL adalah :1) untuk menciptakan kembali semangat generasi muda akan pentingnya ilmu pengetahuan pada Era New normal; 2) untuk mewujudkan Sumber Daya Manusia yang berkualitas, berkarakter, kreatif dan inovatif; 3) untuk mendorong dan memotivasi anak-anak agar semangat dalam belajar dan meraih prestasi. Hasil dari program BIMBEL ini adalah anak-anak antusias dalam mengikuti kegiatan tersebut. Selain itu program BIMBEL ini juga dapat membantu siswa yang kesulitan dalam mengerjakan soal-soal latihan yang diberikan saat kegiatan pembelajaran di sekolah

Abstract

Intensive observation of gastropods, every March from the year 2008 to the year 2012, was carried out to document some indicators of gastropod extinction. The purposive sampling technic was used in this work. The physicochemical parameters of its habitat were also monitored during every sampling done.  It was found that the intertidal substrate consist of sand, while the habitat parameters were more than 5,6 mg/L dissolved oxygen, pH around 7,0-7,2, salinity 30,2-32,2 ppt, temperature 28,6-29,60C, the visibility 100%.  The number of species, the number of found gastropods, the abundance, and the maximum shell size of found gastropods showed decreasing from year to year, while routine collecting by the visitor and the marine organism shell collector, and the disturbance by the fisherman activities occurred. This indication showed a tendency for gastropods extinction

Abstract

Bivalvia is a class of the Mollusca phylum. Bivalvia is also known as Pelecypoda and Lamellibrankhiata. Bivalvia occupies an area of the intertidal zone, one of which is in the intertidal zone of Pasumpahan Island. But information about bivalves in the area does not exist. To know/understand information about the density and distribution pattern of bivalves on Pasumpahan Island, this research was conducted in January 2022. The sampling area was in the intertidal zone of Pasumpahan Island. Sampling was carried out at three stations, each station was divided into three transects. Bivalve sampling was carried out using a 1 x 1mm sieve. The movement of bivalves to the gravel substrate is very fast to avoid splashing waves. Bivalves samples were then identified. The density of bivalves in the intertidal zone of Pasumpahan Island ranged from 1.78-3.56 Ind/m2. Station 2 has a higher density of bivalves, namely 3.56 Ind/m2, the calculation of bivalves in the intertidal zone of Pasumpahan Island obtained bivalves distribution pattern data in groups

Abstract

Macrozoobenthos are aquatic organisms that live on the bottom of the water. Macrozoobenthos can be tolerant or sensitive to environmental changes. Organisms that live relatively sedentary and have varying adaptability to environmental conditions. However, there is no information about macrozoobenthos on Setan Island in Mandeh Tourism Area. To know/understand information about the density and distribution patterns of macrozoobenthos on Setan Island, this study was conducted in January 2022. The sampling area is in the intertidal zone of Setan Island. Sampling was conducted at three stations, each station was divided into three transects. Macrozoobenthos sampling was done using a sieve measuring 1mm x 1mm. The movement of macrozoobenthos to the gravel substrate was relatively slow to avoid the waves. Macrozoobenthos samples were then identified. The density of macrozoobenthos on Setan Island ranged from 2.89-3.89 ind/m2. Station 2 has a higher macrozoobenthos density of 3.89 Ind/m2, the calculation of macrozoobenthos on Setan Island obtained data on the distribution pattern of macrozoobenthos in clusters
