Abstract

Famajal is a kinship model that can be found in Papua. This tradition is carried out in religious rituals such as Aqika and Khitan. To strengthen kinship needed donations in the form of money from relatives and guests. In this tradition, there is an acknowledgment of kinship spoken by the money giver and singing a folk song about kinship. This study uses qualitative methods, verbs of social phenomenology with the research area in Lilinta village. the analysis model uses interpretive. The results of the study include 1. Religious rituals in Lilinta such as study in Islamic studies for children, Reciting Surah Yaseen by women, entering new homes accompanied by recitation of the prayer of Manakib, and Reciting Tahlil are a religious unit that is maintained in religious life in the Lilinta village community. 2. Religion can adapt to local culture so cause changes at the surface level. 3. No written source reveals about this tradition so that the tradition has shifted. 4. Not all religious rituals carried out in Lilinta village are combined with Famajal. 7. In Aqikah and Khitanan is not merely ceremonial, in the ritual the child is introduced about the kinship that exists in the family environment with various advice given. 8. Tradition can develop the beliefs, knowledge, and habits (meaning) of the local community which is unique and underlies mutual understanding, develops further interactions and actions in community life and knowledge about kinship.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perkembangan penjualan pakaian yang dilakukan pedagang pakaian di pasar Youtefa Abepura dan untuk mengetahui kebijakan pemerintah Kota Jayapura tentang libur dihari Minggu diperuntukkan bagi pedagang. Menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan paradigma fenomenologi sosial. Hasil penelitian: Pedagang pakaian di Pasar Youtefa kurang melakukan trobosan dalam melakukan perdagangan, melalui pemanfaatan jaringan internet untuk penjualan juga efek dari banjir tahunan menyebabkan kerugian besar bagi pedagang. Selain itu, peningkatan pelayanan yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah Kota Jayapura yang berkaitan dengan lingkup pelayananmasih belum cukup baik yang dalam hal ini berupa kenyamanan serta akses untuk mendapatkan pelayanan. Selain itu ketersediaan sarana pendukung pasar, fleksibilitas, penanganan permintaan khusus bagi pedagang juga masih dirasa sangat kurang. Perbedaan waktu operasional pada hari biasa untuk pedagang swalayan yang lebih lama 3 jam dibanding dengan pedagang di pasar membuat para konsumen lebih memilih untuk berbelanja di swalayan. Sedangkan jam operasional untuk pedagang di swalayan di hari Minggu memiliki waktu yang agak lama yaitu yaitu kurang lebih 4 jam dibandingkan dengan pedagang di pasar Youtefa Abepura. Selain itu, masyarakat kebanyakan enggan berbelanja di pasar ketika siang hari karena factor cuaca, mereka lebih memilih berbelanja pakaian di Mall/supermarket dengan fasilitas penyejuk udara yang menimbulkan kenyamanan dalam berbelanja.

Abstract

Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisa pelaksanaan pembelajaran tahfiz al-Qur’an pada siswa di Madrasah Tsanawiyah DDI Sentani Kabupaten Jayapura dan menganalisa perubahan karakter siswa setelah mengikuti program tahfiz al-Qur’an di Madrasah Tsanawiyah DDI Sentani Kabupaten Jayapura. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif dengan menggunakan pendekatan pedagogik. Objek penelitian adalah siswa, guru tahfiz, guru kelas, kepala madrasah, dan orang tua siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis kualitatif Miles dan Huberman, yang melipiti reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Pertama, Implementasi pembelajaran tahfiz al-Qur’an telah memenuhi standar manajemen pembelajaran yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode pembelajaran gabungan antara lain; talaqqi, takrir, muroja’ah, dan iktibar.  Kedua, Implementasi pembelajaran tahfiz al-Qur’an mampu merubah karakter siswa menjadi lebih baik. Karakter yang menonjol yaitu: religius, jujur, disiplin, mandiri, percaya diri, sopan/santun, dan tanggung jawab.   Abstract This study aims to analyze the implementation of learning tahfiz al-Qur'an to students at Madrasah Tsanawiyah DDI Sentani, Jayapura Regency and analyze changes in student character after participating in the tahfiz al-Qur'an program at Madrasah Tsanawiyah DDI Sentani, Jayapura Regency. This research is a qualitative research using a pedagogic approach. The objects of research are students, tahfiz teachers, class teachers, madrasa heads, and parents of students. Data collection is done by in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses Miles and Huberman's qualitative analysis technique, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that: First, the implementation of learning tahfiz al-Qur'an meets learning management standards, namely planning, implementing, and evaluating learning by using combined learning methods including; talaqqi, takrir, muroja'ah, and iktibar. Second, the implementation of learning tahfiz al-Qur'an is able to change the character of students for the better. The prominent characters are: religious, honest, disciplined, independent, confident, polite/polite, and responsible.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengekplor kemampuan peserta didik dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika. subjek yang diambil berjumlah 3 peserta didik kelas IV A dan 1 wali kelas. Penelitian ini berjenis deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek yang yang dipilih berdasarkan kemampuan peserta didik. Tingkat kemampuan peserta didik ada tiga yaitu; kemampuan tinggi, kemampuan sedang dan kemampuan rendah. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kemampuan peserta didik kelas IV A dalam menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika terdapat tiga kemampuan yaitu; 1) kemampuan tingkat tinggi, peserta didik mampu mengerjakan soal cerita matematika dengan benar dan sesuai dengan runtutannya, 2) kemampuan tingkat sedang, peserta didik dapat menyelesaikan soal cerita matematika dengan cepat tetapi tidak runtut dalam pengerjaannya; 3) kemampuan tingkat rendah, peserta didik tidak dapart memahami soal cerita matematika.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the impact of experiential learning strategies on academic improvement among students at SD Muhammadiyah Abepura. The method used in this research is qualitative research with a field study approach. This type of research is typically conducted through observation, interviews, or measurements and sampling. The research was conducted at SD Muhammadiyah Abepura. The results of this research indicate that the experiential learning model is implemented by teachers at SD Muhammadiyah Abepura through experiencing, observing, reflecting, and providing structured experiences supported by the natural environment, 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) facilities, an observatory, and various types of plants and trees that grow within the school environment. These elements serve as learning resources for the students. Additionally, teachers provide worksheets that need to be filled out as a result of observations, and they evaluate students' activities through movement assessments. Furthermore, self-assessment is conducted, where students assess themselves and share their evaluation. Based on these evaluations, teachers can draw conclusions regarding students' learning achievements, using the evaluation results as a measure of students' success in their learning activities. In summary, the research findings highlight that the implementation of the experiential learning strategy at SD Muhammadiyah Abepura involves hands-on experiences, observation, reflection, and structured experiences supported by various environmental resources. Worksheets are used to document observations, and evaluation is carried out through assessing students' active participation. Self-assessment is also conducted, enabling students to evaluate themselves. The evaluation results are then used as indicators of students' learning success.

Abstract

Character education is important in strengthening the national spirit (nationalism) of Santri in pesantren. However, studies that discuss character education only focus on the conceptual level or understanding. Hence, the form of application and implications of character education in increasing the spirit of nationalism among Indonesian Santri tend to be neglected. By focusing on the form and implications of the implementation of character education among Indonesian Santri, this study chose to use a descriptive qualitative approach based on observation, documentation, and interviews with coaches and Santri. The findings in this study successfully revealed that character education implemented by training students to use the Indonesian language properly, familiarizing students with Indonesian products, and involving students in reflection and appreciation activities on the struggle of heroes not only succeeded in increasing the spirit of nationalism or nationalism but also fostered empathy for differences and improved the academic competence of students. This study recommends future research to explore the effectiveness of Indonesian character education strategies in enhancing the spirit of nationalism and implementing the program in formal and non-formal education environments.
