Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dengan melihat siswa yang tidak terlalu fokus dalam belajar pada saat pelajaran berlangsung, mengerjakan tugas mata pelajaran yang lain pada saat guru mengajar, sering tidak membuat tugas yang dikasih oleh gurunya, dan selalu tidur saat jam belajar berlangsung serta main game pada saat guru menjelaskan materi di depan kelas dan siswa jarang mengumpulkan tugas harian. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui hubungan antara persepsi siswa terhadap mata pelajaran sosiologi dengan hasil belajar. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini yaitu peseta didik kelas XI IPS SMAN 1 Mapat Tunggul yang terdaftar pada ajaran 2020/2021 dengan Teknik pengambilan sampel secara sampling purposive menggunakan kriteria: Siswa yang mengikuti proses belajar mata pelajaran sosiologi dikelas, siswa yang hasil ulangan harian yang rendah terdapat, proses belajar sosiologi yang tidak serius dan hasil bejara nilai rapor yang paling banyak tidak tuntas terdapat pada kelas XI IPS 4 di SMA N 1 Mapat Tunggul. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu Observasi, wawancara, kuesioner dan studi dokumen. Kesimpulan dari hasil penelitian ini yaitu persepsi siswa terhadap mata pelajaran sosiologi kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Mapat Tunggul yang sangat tidak baik pada kategori tinggi, hasil belajar siswa berada pada kategori yang sangat rendah dan hubungan persepsi siswa terhadap mata pelajaran sosiologi dengan hasil belajar kelas XI SMA Negeri 1 Mapat Tunggul koefisien cukup kuat arah korelasi yang negatif.Kata Kunci: Persepsi, Sosiologi, Hasil Belajar, Siswa. AbstractThis research is motivated by seeing students who are not too focused on learning during lessons, do other subject assignments when the teacher teaches, often do not make assignments given by the teacher, and always sleep during study hours and play games when the teacher explain the material in front of the class and students rarely collect daily assignments. And there are also low student learning outcomes, which proves at the time of tests and semester exams that make a big influence on the low student learning outcomes. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between students' perceptions of sociology subjects and learning outcomes. The approach used in this research is a quantitative approach method. The population in this study were students of class XI IPS SMAN 1 Mapat Tunggul who were registered in the 2020/2021 teaching with purposive sampling technique using the following criteria: Students who took part in the learning process of sociology subjects in class, students who had low daily test results were, the process of learning sociology that is not serious and the results of studying the most incomplete report cards are found in class XI IPS 4 at SMA N 1 Mapat Tunggul. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews, questionnaires and document studies. The conclusion from the results of this study is that students' perceptions of sociology subjects in class XI SMA Negeri 1 Mapat Tunggul are not very good in the high category, student learning outcomes are in the very low category and the relationship between students' perceptions of sociology subjects with learning outcomes in class XI SMA Negeri 1 Mapat Tunggul coefficient is quite strong in the direction of the negative correlation.Keywords: Perception, Sociology, Learning Outcomes, Students

Abstract

This study aims to see the level of achievement of the learning objectives of sociology in the new normal in class XI IPS 2 SMAN 1 Painan. The approach used in this research is descriptive quantitative method using survey method. Data collection techniques used in this study were learning outcomes test, observations, and document studies. The instrumen in this study used learning outcomes test and observatins shees. The data analysis technique used is the percentage. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the results of the analysis were related to the achievement of the learning objectives of sociology in the cognitive aspect was 46%, the achievement in the affective aspect with an overall indicator of  85%, and the achievement of learning objective in the psychomotor aspect with an overall indicator of  83%. From the persentage results it can be concluded that the achievement of the learning objectives of sociology in the new normal era in class XI IPS 2 SMAN 1 Painan, has not been achieved optimally especially in the cognitive aspect, were the achievement is still below 50% and included in the low category.

Abstract

This research was motivated by teachers at SMAN 1 Pasaman who taught in class XII social studies 5 using the lecture method in the learning process. Judging from the level of students' understanding of the material provided by teachers in Sociology subjects is still relatively low. This study aims to find out 1) an overview of the lecture method, 2) an overview of the level of understanding of students and 3) the influence of the application of the lecture method on the level of understanding of students. The theory used in this study is cognitivism, which emphasizes that a person's behavior is determined by the perception of his understanding of situations related to the purpose of learning. Types of descriptive quantitative research corelation. The population in the study were 34 students of class XII IPS 5 at SMAN 1 Pasaman. Sampling using total sampling technique. The instrument used for research was a closed questionnaire using the Pearson correlation test. The results showed that: (1) the lecture method was in the "Very High" category with a percentage of 67.6%, (2) the level of understanding was in the "Very High" category with a percentage of 70.6%, and (3) there was the relationship between the two variables is positive and significant between the lecture method (X) and the level of understanding (Y) of students with r count > r table, namely 0.906 > 0.338 and t count > t table, namely 2.036. The conclusion is that there is an influence between the two variables which is positive and significant between the lecture method and the level of understanding of students and it is suggested for academics to make the results of this study as teaching materials for sociology education students in applying the lecture method as a teaching method in sociology lessons.

Abstract

The context for this study is the low sociology student learning results in Class XI SMA Negeri 6 Padang. The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of variations in learning behavior between students in specialized groups and students in cross-interest groups on sociology learning outcomes in sociology topics. This is a quantitative approach of study. The purposive sampling strategy was used in this investigation. Because these classes had the lowest average even midterm tests in sociology, the samples chosen were XI IPS 2 and XI MIPA 4. There were 69 students in all that participated in the research. The basic data in this study are the results of questionnaire distribution to respondents, namely class XI pupils specialized groups (IPS) and cross-interest groups (MIPA) Padang. Observation and questionnaires were used to collect data in this study. The t test is used in this study's data analysis approach. Based on the findings of the preceding study, it is possible to conclude that variations in learning behavior between specialty group students and cross-interest group students have an impact on sociology learning outcomes in Class XI SMA Negeri 6 Padang. This is supported by the t test findings, which show that t count (2.230) > t table (2.032).

Abstract

Education is a fundamental pillar in building sustainable and competitive societies in the era of globalization. Amid the dynamics of social change, it is important for the education system to consider socio-cultural and religious values as a strong foundation in the learning process. This article aims to propose a community-based education approach that integrates socio-cultural and religious values as primary elements. This approach not only emphasizes the transfer of knowledge and skills but also the formation of strong character and deep understanding of the cultural identity of society. Using qualitative conceptual analysis and literature review methods, this research explores the relevance and urgency of education rooted in socio-cultural and religious values in the context of increasingly multicultural societies. In the process, this article presents implementation strategies that can be adopted, identifies potential challenges, and outlines the benefits that can be gained from the proposed education approach. It is hoped that the results of this research can provide deeper insights into the role of education in strengthening cultural identity and promoting social harmony in diverse societies
