Abstract

The best apllying practice of performance management can lead to increase business competitiveness. The objective of this study was to describe of how performance measurement systems that has been conducted at PG Subang West Java to achive success areas of sugarcane factory. The systems was built to adopt from integrated dynamic performance systems (IDPMS) model. The models integrates of four functional areas : corporate management, plant management, shop floor, and process improvement teams (bina sarana tani and lab. QC). Each fungsional areas were linked through the specification, reporting, and dynamic updating of the defined areas of success, performance measure, and performance standard. Understanding  interrelationships of performance measurements provides the foundation for more focused improvement efforts

Abstract

The purpose of this study were to assess the sustainability status of organic rice businesses and their attributes that affect the sustainability of the businesses in Cianjur. The methods used in this study were surveys and in-depth interviews. Moreover, Rap-Organic/multi-dimensional scaling as the analysis tools were also utilized to assess the sustainability of the organic rice businesses. The analysis conducted indicates that sustainability status of organic rice businesses in Cianjur is less sustainable reflected in all dimensions i.e. the dimensions of ecology, economy, social, infrastructure and technology, as well as institutions. Aggregately, the sensitive attributes influencing the sustainability of organic rice business bussinesses can be classified into three factors: 1) human resources of farmers, 2) institutions (the government policies related to the organic rice businesses and infrastructure support), and 3) organic rice market.Keywords: organic rice businesses, sustainability, sensitive attributes, Rap-Organic

Abstract

Subang Regency has an important role as the rice supplier area. As one of the rice production centers in Indonesia, rice farmers address rice fields as an asset or resource. As an asset, farmers conduct rice farming activities in the rice fields with economical orientation and rely on their food source mainly from the rice production. Conversions of paddy fields have changed the socioeconomic balancing amongst the farmers. They responded to the changes by adapting to new conditions, thus farmers’ post-conversion responses are an interesting aspect to study. This research aimed to understand the rice farmers adaptations, which was involved 15 key informants using in-dept interviews and purposive sampling method of 164 respondents. The analysis of the interview results used the concept of adaptation based on objectives, timing, and then strengthened with relevant documents for the study area. This study found, that: 1) farmers tried to make adjustments in using the compensation funds, livelihood, professions, farming, and household needs; 2) farmers’ adaptation are their way to earn the income and maintain their livelihood, and 3) some farmers firmly stated that their adaptations have made newly more prosperous conditions for them.

Abstract

Planning and production control are important factors to determine the efficiency derived through proper management of raw material supply of fresh fruits, production planning and master production schedule. This research aimed to develop the aggregate production planning model, and master production schedule model for juice production from fresh fruit, while also considered the perishability of the fresh fruit. There were several methods applied in the works, namely autoregressive integrated moving average (ARIMA) for forecasting of raw material product sale, mathematical model for raw material supply, linear programming for production planning and prospective production scheduling to develop master production schedule. This research developed software for decision support system called RP_JUS. The results showed that all raw material damage was distributed exponentially. Decision Support Model of Production Schedule for Fresh Fruit Juice can be applied to the processing indudtries that use fresh fruit.

Abstract

Excessive use of pesticides can have an impact on the environment, including the loss of pesticide residues in soil and agricultural products. The purpose of this study was to determine the spreading of organophosphate pesticide residues in the shallot production area of  Brebes Regency, Central Java. Research locations were two districts selected by purposive sampling based on production area, namely Kersana and Wanasari Districts. Organophosphate compounds analyzed include chlorpyrifos, paration, profenofos, diazinon, fenitrotion, metidation and malation. Organophosphate residue analysis was carried out on seven soil samples and seven shallot products. Pesticide residue analysis was carried out using the standard method by using a gas chromatography device with an electron capture detector. Based on analysis, seven residues of organophosphate pesticides were chlorpyrifos, paration, profenofos, diazinon, fenitrotion, metidation and malation, spread in Kersana District, and six  pesticides residues (except profenofos) spread in Wanasari District. In soil samples, the highest residues obtained in two districts were chlorpyrifos compounds, chlorpyrifos compounds in Kersana District was higher than Wanasari District. In the shallot sample, the highest residues in two districts are diazinon compounds, diazinon compounds in the sample of Kersana District was  higher than Wanasari District. There were  several samples of shallot product contained organophosphate residue  exceed the maximum concentration of residual limit (RML).

Abstract

The supply chain performance is an indicator of success company in conducting the business process. The measurement of supply chain performance is required to take control and recognize the companys performance position. The objectives of this research were to identify business process value-added within the supply chain, to measure the supply chain performance, and to formulate strategies for improving the supply chain performance. The value-added identification was conducted by Hayami method. The supply chain performance was measure by Supply Chain Operation Reference (SCOR) combine with fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). Strategies for supply chain performance improvement were formulated through of SWOT analyses combine with fuzzy-AHP. The value-added analysis result showed that the sugarcane factory was the highest value added ratio in the supply chain. The supply chain performance measurement result showed that the sugarcane factory has poor performance while plantation was in very low performance. Evaluation of supply chains internal and external factors through SWOT indicated a strong condition and would deal with possibly great threats. Based on Fuzzy AHP, this study suggests research encouragement and development in the sugar production system in order to maintain qualities, yields and performance to improve supply chain performance eventually.

Abstract

Karet spesifikasi teknis (TSR) merupakan jenis karet alam yang penting, dengan pertumbuhan permintaan yang tinggi dibanding jenis karet alam yang diproduksi dan diekspor oleh Indonesia. TSR paling banyak digunakan sebagai bahan baku untuk industri ban, sehingga dengan tumbuhnya indutri otomotif mendorong peningkatan permintaan terhadap TSR. Namun permasalahan muncul dalam produksi TSR, dimana tingkat  fluktuasi baik karena kelebihan maupun kekurangan produksi sangat berpengaruh terhadap perubahan harga TSR di pasar Internasional. Untuk mengurangi fluktuasi tersebut diperlukan suatu metode untuk memperkirakan tingkat permintaan dan harga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang suatu metode prakiraan yang dapat merperkirakan tingkat harga dan volume permintaan untuk TSR 20.  Prakiraan dilakukan dengan Jaringan Syaraf Tiruan (JST) dengan algoritma propagasi balik, menggunakan data perkembangan pasar TSR di bursa berjangka SICOM. Model JST yang dirancang  mempertimbangkan pola harga, pola permintaan dan interaksi kedua faktor.  Hasil simulasi menunjukkan penggunaan 5 input neuron yaitu: 1) harga tertinggi, 2) harga terendah, 3) harga penutupan, 4) volume permintaan awal, 5) volume permintaan penutupan, 15 neuron pada lapisan tersembunyi dan 2 output yaitu harga dan volume permintaan pada lapisan output. Tingkat akurasi hasil prakiraan harga mencapai 91% dan akurasi prakiraan permintaan 87%. Berdasarkan hasil prakiraan ditentukan status harga dan permintaan. Harga tinggi jika perbedaan antara nilai maksimum dan nilai tengah lebih tinggi dari 47%, harga rendah jika perbedaan antara nilai minimum dan nilai tengah lebih dari 20%.  Prakiraan permintaan dinyatakan tinggi atau rendah jika terjadi peningkatan maupun penurunan sebesar 50 % dari rata-rata permintaan.Abstract Technically Specified Rubber (TSR) is the most important of natural rubber type which has a high demand growth which is produced and exported by Indonesia. TSR is mostly used as raw material for tire industries, as the world’s automotive industries grow up the demand for TSR is also rise up. However, the problem appears in the production of TSR, which is fluctuative production rate in the form of over and under production correlated to the price change in International market.  Therefore, a method to forecast the price and demand level is needed to design in order to reduce fluctuation. The result is a forecasting that used as an input for preparing and adjusting TSR rubber production planning that working adaptively with market condition by utilising the expert knowledge. This research aimed to design a method that can forecast the changes in price level and demand volume. Artificial Neural Network (ANN) which is  backpropagation algorithm that has been designed according to data TSR market condition in SICOM is used in this research, the ANN model is modified by observing the price pattern, demand pattern and the connection between both of them together. Experiments have shown that the optimal architecture network for price and demand forecasting can be obtained by using 5 different neuron parameter, there are: 1) the highest price, 2) the lowest price, 3) the closing price, 4) demand volume interest, 5) demand volume close for input layer, 15 neuron for hidden layer and 2 different neuron there are price and demand volume for output layer. The accuracy of forecasting price had reached 91% and 87% for forecasting demand.  Based on forecasting result had determined the state of price and demand. The price is high if the differences between maximum and mean score is higher than 47% and the price is low if the differences between the minimum and mean score is higher than 20%. The demand is high if the demand forecasting is higher than 50% and it is low if smaller than 50% of average demand volume.

Abstract

AbstractEvaluation of learning outcomes turns out to be quite disappointing. There are 23 out of 28 students or 78.5% failed the mastery learning. To overcome these problems, the teacher tries to use the blended learning method with the WhatsApp group application. The research aims to describe the application of the blended learning method with the WhatsApp application. It uses an action research model carried out at SDN Jumputrejo in second semester in the academic year 2016/2017 in mathematics subject of matter fractions. The results shows that the use of blended learning with WhatsApp group application increases student learning outcomes from 36% in the pre-cycle to 57.14% in first cycle and 85.7% in second cycle. The use of the blended learning method with WhatsApp group application also allows students to study and discuss longer without being bound by time and spaceKeywords: mathematics learning outcomes, blended learningAbstrakEvaluasi hasil belajar ternyata hasilnya cukup mengecewakan, ada 23 siswa dari 28 siswa belumtuntas belajar atau 78,5% siswa belum tuntas belajar. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan tersebut guru mencoba untuk menggunakan metode blended learning dengan aplikasi whatsapp group. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu mendeskripsikan penerapan metode blanded learning dengan aplikasi whatsapp. Penelitian ini menggunakan model penelitian tindakan dilaksanakan di SDN Jumputrejo pada semester 2 tahun pelajaran 2016/2017 pada mata pelajaran matematika materi pecahan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan data bahwa penggunaan blended learning dengan aplikasi whatsapp group dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswadari 36% pada pra siklus menjadi 57,14% pada siklus 1 dan 85,7% pada siklus 2. Penggunaan metode blended learning dengan aplikasi whatsapp group juga memungkinkan siswa untuk belajar dan berdiskusi lebih lama tanpa terikat ruang dan waktuKata Kunci : hasil belajar matematika, blended learning
