Abstract

Indonesian competition law known as Law No. 5 of 1999 was adopted on the fifth of March 1999 and took effective a year later, the fifth of March 2000. Since the adoption of the Law we are witnessing business players have changed in the ways they run their businesses. We are also witnessing challenges that need to be dealt with if we want Law No5 effective to reach its objectives. This article discloses some of those challenges. The most difficult one to deal with is the resistance by the court to the existence of the Indonesian Antimonopoly Authority (KPPU).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kontribusi dan standar kompetensi praktisi Manajemen Sumber Daya Manusia (MSDM) di Indonesia saat ini. Analisis situasional dilakukan secara statistik deskriptif dengan melibatkan 177 praktisi MSDM dan pengguna jasa layanan praktisi MSDM melalui kuesioner daring dan dokumen fisik menggunakan non-random purposive sampling. Kuesioner analisis situasional berhasil memetakan persepsi praktisi MSDM dan pengguna jasa layanan praktisi MSDM yang menyatakan (1) pentingnya kontribusi praktisi MSDM terhadap kinerja organisasi; (2) peran praktisi MSDM yang diharapkan di masa depan yang menekankan pada peran strategis sebagai Strategic Partner; (3) pentingnya standar sasaran kinerja dan sertifikasi profesi; serta (4) usulan penyempurnaan Standar Kompetensi Kerja Nasional Indonesia (SKKNI) MSDM berupa enam kompetensi tambahan yaitu kemampuan memahami kegiatan operasional proses bisnis organisasi, kemampuan menggunakan media sosial dalam menunjang peran sebagai praktisi SDM, kemampuan berhubungan dan meyakinkan orang lain, kemampuan mendapatkan kepercayaan orang lain melalui pencapaian hasil, manajemen proyek, dan audit SDM.

Abstract

AbstrakKomoditi tuna dan tuna-like merupakan hasil perikanan yang memiliki nilai ekonomis bagi Indonesia. Namun, logam berat dapat terakumulasi di biota ini karena posisinya sebagai top predator.  Penelitian ini menganalisis 895 data sekunder hasil pengujian merkuri yellowfin tuna (Thunnus albacares), bigeye tuna (Thunnus obesus) dan swordfish (Xiphias gladius), yang merupakan data official control oleh Badan Karantina, Pengendalian Mutu dan Keamanan Hasil Perikanan (BKIPM). Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menganalisis kandungan merkuri yellowfin tuna, bigeye tuna dan swordfish, serta korelasinya dengan berat ikan dan menganalisis data kontaminan merkuri yellowfin tuna, bigeye tuna dan swordfish terkait pencemaran habitat perairan asal bahan baku di Samudera Hindia dan Samudera Pasifik. Metode analisis menggunakan regresi linier dan analisis t-test. Pengujian merkuri menggunakan Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometric (AAS). Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa kandungan merkuri sangat bervariasi antar jenis, berat dan asal perairan. Dua jenis tuna dari kedua perairan mengandung merkuri <1,0 mg/kg, kandungan merkuri yellowfin tuna berkisar antara 0,06±0,06 mg/kg hingga 0,33±0,18 mg/kg, sedangkan bigeye tuna antara 0,05±0,02 mg/kg hingga 0,33±0,14 mg/kg. Berat kedua ikan tidak berkorelasi terhadap kandungan merkuri, namun pada bigeye tuna terdapat perbedaan konsentrasi merkuri yang signifikan antara kelompok berat 1-10 kg/ekor dengan ukuran yang lebih besar (>100 kg/ekor). Sebaliknya pada swordfish, kandungan merkuri meningkat dengan penambahan berat ikan, yang berkisar antara 0,08±0,01 mg/kg hingga 1,61±0,02 mg/kg. Terdapat 34% (>50 kg) swordfish dari Samudera Hindia yang kandungan merkuri nya melebihi batas 1,0 mg/kg. Kandungan merkuri tuna dan tuna-like hasil tangkapan di Samudera Hindia lebih tinggi dibandingkan Samudera Pasifik dan berbeda nyata, sehingga dapat mengindikasikan Samudera Hindia lebih tercemar merkuri. Study on Mercury Concentrations in Tuna (Yellowfin and Bigeye) and Tuna-like (swordfish) Caught from Indian and Pacific OceansAbstractTuna and tuna-like species are considered as highly economic fish species for Indonesia. However, as a high-tropic level predatory species, tuna may accumulate heavy metal contaminants. This study analyzed 895 secondary data of mercury levels in tuna and tuna-like species, based on official control conducted by Badan Karantina Ikan, Pengendalian Mutu dan Keamanan Hasil Perikanan (BKIPM). The objectives of this study were to analyze correlations between mercury contents in yellowfin, bigeye and swordfish with fish weight and fish habitats (Indian and Pacific Oceans). Mercury was analyzed using Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometric (AAS). The data was analyzed based on linear regression and t-test. The result found that mercury concentrations varied significantly among species, weight and fish habitats. Two tuna species from two habitats, have mercury concentration of <1.0 mg/kg. Mercury in yellowfin ranged from 0.06±0.06 mg/kg to 0.33±0.18 mg/kg, while in bigeye it ranged from 0.05±0.02 mg/kg to 0.33±0.14 mg/kg. For yellowfin and bigeye, mercury concentrations were weakly associated with fish weight, except in bigeye, there was a significant difference of mercury concentration between the fish at the group of 1-10 kg with the larger size (>100 kg). In contrast, a strong relationship between mercury content with fish weight was observed in swordfish, where mercury concentration increased with increasing fish weight. It ranged from 0.08±0.01 mg/kg to 1.60±0.02 mg/kg, and 34% of swordfish caught from the Indian Ocean (>50 kg of weight) have mercury content that exceeded 1.0 mg/kg. Mercury concentration of tuna and tuna-like caught from the Indian Ocean were significantly higher than those caught from the Pacific Ocean, which could indicate that the Indian Ocean was more polluted interm of mercury than the Pacific Ocean.

Abstract

The rapidly changing world environment requires companies to adjust to existing conditions. Environmental changes that occur include technology, information systems, economic and political causes of the emergence of new regulations and derivatives so that industry and industry players in the implementation can run well. One telecommunication company in Indonesia in maintaining revenue and profit growth improves employee capability and application of new corporate culture in realizing competitiveness. A vision and mission change with complete comprehensive transformation with a strategy embodied in employee-driven programs based on company values. The company in transformation years periode from 2011 until 2016 hold engagement survey with main result the majority of opinions like the changes that occur. Researcher use survey method questionnaires to gather information after reborn launched from Indosat Ooredoo employees as respondents that distributed to a level of staff, managers, division heads and group heads. Descriptive statistical analysis methodology is used to analyze information that has been collected. The results data analysis of the questionnaire showed that 7 (seven) variables assessing the improvement of employee capabilities and the application of the company's new culture in realizing competitiveness showed that the seven variables affected the level of security and comfort of employees and middle management.

Abstract

ABSTRACT. Health insurance is a necessity that must be owned by the community ascitizens. After the demands of the changing times and other factors, then governmentdecided to transform PT. Askes (Persero) to BPJS Kesehatan by the Regulation of SJSN andthe regulation of BPJS. The transformation causes changes in the health insurance systemin Indonesia. This study aims to determine the reasons or factors that encourage theimplementation of the transformation, stages of transformation that is passed by PT.Askes (Persero) to be BPJS Kesehatan, and change what happened. The research is aqualitative study using a descriptive approach, data collection techniques used areliterature. The conclusion from this study is there are two factors that underlie theimplementation of the transformation of PT. Askes (Persero) to BPJS Kesehatan, thefactors are domestic and international factors. Domestic factors is complaints from thepublic, and the international factor is the intervention of foreign parties. Thistransformation then passes through three stages namely unfreezing, movement, andrefreezing. In each of these stages there are some changes implemented steps ofachieving the respective stages. transformations that occur in the PT. Askes (Persero)caused a lot of changes, including: changes in goals, culture, technology, organizationalstructure, and the volume of activity. Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine and (1) analyze the influence of organizational culture on employee performance (2) analyze the effect of job satisfaction on employee performance (3) analyze the effect of work safety on employee performance (4) analyze the influence of organizational culture, job satisfaction, and work safety on employee performance and (5) formulate a strategy to improve employee performance that is appropriate to be implemented in PT Bakrie Construction. The selected respondents were employees of PT Bakrie Construction. In this case the researcher took a sample of 115 respondents. Data analysis techniques using Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS) and to determine the performance improvement strategy used Analysis Hierarchy Process (AHP). The results of this study indicate that (1) Organizational culture does not significantly influence employee performance, but indirectly affects performance through job satisfaction. (2) Job satisfaction has a significant effect on employee performance (3) Occupational safety has a significant effect on employee performance (4) Job satisfaction together has a significant effect on employee performance. Organizational culture does not significantly influence performance, but indirectly affects employee performance through job satisfaction (5) The alternative strategy that can be done by PT Bakrie Construction in improving employee performance is to improve the welfare of its employees.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Collaborative Learning disertai dengan Pendekatan Out-Door Study. Model dan pendekatan ini dipilih dikarenakan pembelajaran selama ini yang selalu monoton dan membosankan. Adapun sasaran penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa program studi Bahasa Indonesia STKIP Bina Insan Mandiri Surabaya semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2013/2014. Adapun metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu: (1) dokumentasi; (2) observasi; (3) angket; (4) tes. Penilaian terdiri dari 3 komponen yaitu kognitif, afektif, dan psikomotor. Aspek kognitif itu sendiri diperoleh dari hasil belajar siswa selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung yaitu pada siklus I sebesar 66,7% dan siklus II sebesar 88,89%, afektif diperoleh dari sikap siswa dalam menerima materi pelajaran yaitu pada siklus I sebesar 57,78% dan siklus II sebesar 78,89%, sedangkan psikomotor diperoleh dari peran serta siswa dalam berkolaborasi dengan kelompoknya yaitu pada siklus I sebesar 77,78% dan siklus II 100%. Sehingga sangat tampak pada hasil penelitian terjadi peningkatan pada siklus I ke siklus II. Adapun hasil akhir yang diharapkan pada penelitian ini dapat dihasilkan Modul pembelajaran Statistika untuk mempermudah mahasiswa Bahasa Indonesia khususnya yang paling tidak suka akan menganalisis perhitungan menjadi lebih suka.

Abstract

Several methods for evaluating the effect of site specific condition of soil layers against earthquakes are presently available. Site Specific Analysis (SSA) and Horizontal-to-Vertical Spectral Ratio (HVSR) are two methods commonly used for estimating the amplification factor of soil layers above bedrock. SSA can be performed using subsurface shear wave velocities and dynamic soil properties (density, shear modulus and damping). The HVSR is a simple method for estimating the site amplification factor. Based on the time and budget requirement HVSR is more efficient and effective compare to SSA method.This paper presents result of SSA and HVSR methodscomparison for estimating the amplification factor of soil layers. Two boring locations and six single station seismometer tests were perform within Tembalang District Area.
