Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan Virtual Laboratory berbasis multimedia interaktif pada sub materi penanaman dan pengecatan bakteri, mengetahui kelayakan media tersebut, dan mengetahui respon siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Pontianak yang diajarkan dengan menggunakan Virtual Laboratory. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Development Research (penelitian pengembangan). Development Research terdiri atas dua tahapan yaitu preliminary (persiapan dan desain) dan formative evaluation (self evaluation, expert reviews, small group, dan fields test). Subjek penelitian ini adalah 37 orang siswa. Berdasarkan hasil validasi oleh validator ahli media dan materi, Virtual Laboratory dikategorikan valid dengan RTVTK 3,55. Sedangkan persentase respon positif siswa sebesar 84,15%, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa Virtual Laboratory layak digunakan sebagai media pembelajaran.   Kata Kunci: Virtual Laboratory, Multimedia Interaktif, Respon   Abstract: This research aims to produce Virtual Laboratory as interactive multimedia on sub material the cultivation and staining of bacteria, knowing about adisability of Virtual Laboratory, and knowing about student responses grade X SMA Negeri 1 Pontianak whom get be taught with Virtual Laboratory. The research method that used is a Development Research. This method  includes two stages: a preliminary (the preparation and design) and formative evaluation (self-evaluation, expert reviews, small group, and test fields). The study subject is 37 students. Be based on result of validation by validator of media and matter, Virtual Laboratory get catagorized as valid with the RTVTK is 3,55. Meanwhile the percentage of student responses at 84.15%. Abstract

Comics are one instance of visual media that can be used as learning media. Comics engage students to be more interested, motivated, and entertained so that they can help teachers deliver learning materials. The comics developed in this study contain material about the biodiversity that exists in West Kalimantan, especially endemic flora and fauna, considering that West Kalimantan has various potential for diversity. This study aims to determine the feasibility of comics based on the local potential of West Kalimantan on biodiversity material as a learning medium for class X  MAN 2 Pontianak and to determine student responses to the developed learning media. The form of this research is descriptive with a survey research method. The sample in this study was class X MIA 4 MAN 2 Pontianak which was selected through a purposive sampling technique. The instruments used were comic media validation sheets and student response questionnaires. Based on the results of the validation data analysis, the calculation of the CVR and CVI values against the 11 assessment indicators, it was found that the comic media developed was categorized as valid with the CVR and CVI values by 1. The results of student responses to the developed comic media, for 3 aspects including cognitive, affective, and conative is 76.18% with a high category. Cognitive responses of 77.6%, affective responses of 78.3%, and conative responses of 72.66% with a high category, respectively. Therefore, comic media based on local potential of flora and fauna endemic to West Kalimantan is feasible to be used as a learning medium in class X in MAN 2 Pontianak, and student responses to the developed media are categorized as strong responses.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui deskripsi keterampilan pemecahan masalah siswa dan deskripsi keterampilan pada setiap indikator pemecahan masalah IDEAL siswa SMA kelas X pada materi virus. Subjek dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X MIA pada salah satu SMA Swasta sebanyak 29 siswa yang telah mempelajari materi virus. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa soal tes uraian keterampilan pemecahan masalah IDEAL yang berjumlah 20 soal yang terdiri dari 5 indikator IDEAL Problem Solving dari Bransford and Stein. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan deskripsi keterampilan pemecahan masalah siswa memiliki persentase sebesar 53% dengan kategori tidak terampil. Adapun rincian dari data penelitian keretampilan pemecahan masalah pada kategori cukup terampil yaitu indikator mengidentifikasi masalah sebesar 68% dan menentukan tujuan 75%, kategori tidak terampil yaitu indikator mengeksplorasi strategi yang mungkin sebesar 36%, mengantisipasi hasil dan bertindak sebesar 47%, dan indikator melihat dan belajar sebesar 40%. Melalui penelitian ini, terungkap bahwa faktor yang menjadi penghambat keterampilan pemecahan masalah tidak terampil yaitu minat siswa, kemampuan kognitif siswa yang rendah, dan kurang membiasakan memecahkan soal-soal yang bersifat problem solving.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the description of students' problem-solving skills and the description of skills on each indicator of IDEAL problem-solving for high school students in class X on virus material. The subjects of this study were students of class X MIA at a private high school as many as 29 students who had studied virus material. The instrument was used as a test description of IDEAL problem-solving skills, totaling 20 questions consisting of 5 IDEAL Problem-Solving indicators from Bransford and Stein. The results showed that the description of students' problem-solving skills had a percentage of 53% in the unskilled category. The details of the research data on problem-solving skills in the moderately skilled category are indicators identifying problems by 68% and setting goals by 75%, unskilled categories, namely indicators exploring possible strategies by 36%, anticipating results and acting by 47%, and indicators seeing and study by 40%. This study revealed that the factors that hindered unskilled problem-solving skills were student interest, low cognitive ability, and lack of habit of solving problem-solving problems. Abstract

This research aims to create a product (a P3D learning strategy using google sites to support 21st-century skills). This research employed Hannafin and Peck's Research and Development (R D) method. A needs assessment (need assessment), product design (product design), product development, and implementation comprise the research design (development and implementation). Teacher and student interview sheets, media, material expert validation questionnaire sheets, and teacher and student answer sheets are among the instruments employed. Techniques for gathering data include interviews and questionnaires. Data analysis for interviews was accomplished by data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, whereas data analysis for questionnaires was accomplished through quantitative and qualitative methods. The study's population consisted of senior high school science-majored students in Lebak Regency, with a sample size of 30 from SMAN 1 Bojongmanik and 30 from SMAN 3 Cibeber. The product feasibility test, conducted by two media experts and two material experts, revealed that this product was feasible with an average value of 77%.ABSTRAK: Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk menghasilkan produk (strategi pembelajaran P3D menggunakan google sites untuk menunjang keterampilan abad 21). Metode penelitian menggunakan Research-Development (R D) dengan desain penelitian yang dikembangkan oleh Hannafin and Peck. Desain penelitian terdiri dari penilaian kebutuhan (need assessment), desain produk (product design), pengembangan dan implementasi produk (development and implementation). Instrumen yang digunakan antara lain lembar wawancara guru dan siswa, lembar angket validasi ahli media dan materi, lembar respon guru dan siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara dan angket. Analisis data untuk wawancara dilakukan dengan cara mereduksi data, penyajian data dan penarikan kesimpulan sedangkan analisis data pada angket dengan cara kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Populasi penelitian merupakan siswa dan siswi SMA MIPA di Kabupaten Lebak dengan sampel berjumlah 30 orang dari SMAN 1 Bojongmanik dan 30 orang dari SMAN 3 Cibeber. Hasil uji kelayakan produk oleh dua ahli media dan dua ahli materi menunjukan bahwa produk ini layak untuk digunakan dengan nilai rerata sebesar 77%.

Abstract

Saat ini jumlah wirausaha di Indonesia baru mencapai 3,3% populasi dan masih tertinggal dari beberapa negara. Mengingat rendahnya tingkat wirausaha di Indonesia dan kemudahan teknologi pada zaman ini seharusnya mengembangkan ide dan inovasi baru bukanlah hal sulit bagi kalangan muda khususnya mahasiswa. Dengan adanya teknologi pada zaman sekarang mahasiswa diharapkan mampu membangun jiwa kewirausahaan. Salah satu usaha yang dapat dilakukan untuk melahirkan wirausaha khususnya dari kalangan mahasiswa adalah dengan mendorong lembaga pendidikan untuk memasukkan pendidikan kewirausahaan dalam kurikulum dan melakukan usaha selain perkuliahan misalnya dengan webinar. Webinar kewirausahaan dengan tema “Show Up Your Mind to Be a Success Entrepreneur” dilakukan dengan tujuan agar dapat menambah minat, motivasi, dan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam berwirausaha. Metode yang dilakukan dalam webinar ini antara lain adalah sosialisasi, penyampaian materi, dan tanya jawab serta diskusi. Kegiatan webinar di fokuskan bagi alumni dan mahasiswa Pendidikan Biologi FKIP Universitas Tanjungpura. Secara umum, kegiatan webinar dikategorikan sukses dan berjalan dengan baik dibuktikan dengan jumlah peserta yang hadir dan antusias peserta webinar pada saat sesi disukusi dan tanya jawab.

Abstract

  Tumbuhan Bajakah merupakan habitus liana yaitu sekelompok tumbuhan merambat yang berakar di dalam tanah, dalam pertumbuhannya tumbuhan bajakah menggunakan berbagai jenis pohon untuk merambat. Bajakah yang sering digunakan oleh masyarakat Kabupaten Landak di Provinsi Kalimantan Barat ini dipercaya memiliki khasiat obat yang diolah secara tradisional. Untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman jenis tumbuhan di suatu tempat atau kawasan tertentu perlu dilakukan inventarisasi. Pentingnya untuk mengetahui keanekaragaman jenis, dan belum adanya data mengenai inventarisasi tanaman bajakan yang ada, maka peneliti ingin melakukan penelitian di kawasan hutan yang terletak di Dusun Sadok Kabupaten Landak, karena tumbuhan bajakan masih mudah didapatkan. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan Agustus-September 2022, dimulai dengan pengambilan sampel, pembuatan herbarium, identifikasi dan analisis data kuantitatif menggunakan metode zig-zag, dengan jalur jelajah yaitu 10 meter (ke kiri), dan 10 meter (ke kanan) yang dibuat dengan lebar 20 meter. Dari hasil pengukuran faktor lingkungan diperoleh pada suhu udara 26 (°C), suhu tanah 26-27-9 (°C), kelembapan udara 27,1-29 ,1 (%), pH tanah 6,5-6,6, intensitas cahaya 27,0-29,1 (lux). Tumbuhan bajakah banyak ditemukan pada habitat menopang. Diketahui tumbuhan bajakah yang ditemukan pada kawasan Hutan yang berada di Dusun Sadok Kabupaten Landak masuk kedalam sembilan 9 Famili, 11 spesies, dan 1 genus.   Kata Kunci: Tumbuhan Bajakah, Liana, Inventarisasi, Kawasan Hutan

Abstract

The use of ICT-based learning media can improve student learning outcomes. Re-analysis was carried out in this study regarding the use of ICT-based learning media in improving student learning outcomes from the theses that had been selected and selected in line with the topics studied. This study aims to determine the meta-analysis of the effect of using ICT-based learning media on students' biology learning outcomes. This type of research is descriptive survey research. Using a purposive sampling technique, 20 theses of Biology education students at FKIP Untan for the 2017-2021 period were summarized. The calculation of the effect size of 20 undergraduate thesis students in biology education resulted in an average effect size of 0.85 (SD = 2.80). It shows that ICT-based learning media contributed 32.89% to improving student biology learning outcomes. The ICT-based learning media type with the most significant influence is video media, with an average effect size of 1.18 (SD = 4.34). Video media contributed 37.08% to increasing student biology learning outcomes. The relationship between variables obtained from research results based on the material taught and the use of ICT-based learning media that has the most significant influence is applied to the digestive system material with an average effect size of 1.18 (SD = 4.34). ICT-based learning media can improve students' biology learning outcomes in digestive system material by 37.08%. Based on the school level, ICT-based learning media that significantly influences students' biology learning outcomes is implemented in junior high schools. Using ICT-based learning media can improve student biology learning outcomes in junior high schools by 42%.

Abstract

Critical thinking is a skill needed in 21st century education. This research was carried out using a quantitative descriptive method. Before collecting data, the test questions were tested first to determine their validity and reliability using tools such as Microsoft Exel 2016 software and Iteman Version 3.0. In this study, it can be seen that the Critical Thinking Assessment profile of prospective biology teacher from biology education students at FTEE UNTANis mostly included in the critical category with an average value of 70.40.

Abstract

Medicinal plants are all types of plants that have medicinal benefits and contain nutrients that are proven to be good for health through the availability of phytochemicals. The use of medicinal plants in the community has existed since ancient times used as traditional medicine. In the community, the use of medicinal plants is still carried out today both as an alternative treatment and as a complement to modern medicine. Information related to medicinal plants carried out by the people of Sepangah Village is also not widely known, therefore a study was conducted which aims to determine the types of medicinal plants used by the people of Sepangah Village for reproductive health. This research method is descriptive with data collection techniques using triangulation in the form of interviews, observation, and documentation. Research information was obtained from 7 informants consisting of 1 village head, 2 battra, and 4 people who still utilize medicinal plants. The results showed that 18 species from 11 plant families were used for reproductive health. The most widely used plants are from the Zingiberaceae family. The most widely used plant part is the rhizome. The most widely used way of processing plants is boiled. The most widely used way of using plants is drinking. Treatment in reproductive health that is often done is to treat vaginal discharge and smooth postpartum blood in mothers after childbirth
