Abstract

The Accountability Model Bridge is a solution for school counsellors in evaluating counselling programs, especially in the career field, based on a framework that contains the stages of evaluating guidance and counselling programs. This Bridge Model evaluation is interrelated between (1) the counselling program evaluation cycle and (2) the counselling context evaluation cycle. Career guidance and counselling program need to be evaluated for its achievement to see how effective it is and how it impacts students. The Accountability Model Bridge is a framework that can assist counsellors in facilitating the implementation of program evaluations involving school stakeholders. The existence of this Bridge Model can provide an effect and understanding for school administrators about the benefits of the career counselling program that is followed by students which later can be used as the basis for continuous program improvement. Abstract

It can be seen that individuals in Indonesia are not too happy either in young children, adults, or elderly. Troubel always come to each individual. According to Ki Suryomentaran, life is the place where we will feel sad and happy. Without any waves of problems in an individuals’ life then they will not be capable of achieving welfare. Every individual is expected to have a good life by applying Carl Rodgers’ Theory about perseon-centered counseling in which the counselor can help the clients understand their ability and capability in actualizing themselves and lead them to achieve happiness in their life. A Counselor can also help clients who were born with weak mentality to face the problems in their life so that they do not suffer from depression and inability to cope with those problems. Abstract

This research was a research and development. The purposes of this research were to investigate the validity of the product based on the experts, to investigate the advisability based on practitioners’ test and to investigate the effectiveness of the implementation of assertive training technique guidance to enhance junior high school students’ self-confidence. The examination of the effectiveness of the product was conducted by using Matching Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design experimental design. The data collection techniques used were questionnaire, observation, and interview. The subject of this research was the seventh grade students of SMP Negeri Karanganyar. This research resulted a product in the form of assertive training technique guidance which had been examined by the experts and practitioners and its effectiveness had been experimented to the students. The result of the experts’test was that the product had valid category with minor revision with 83,9 % score .The result of the practitioners’ test was that the product had valid category with minor revision with 84.6% score. Furthermore, the effectiveness of the product was examined in limited range towards the research subject. The activities conducted towards the subject included giving pretest, implementing the product, and giving posttest. The effectiveness examination result showed that there was an improvement in the average score before and after the treatment was given, that were 90.8 of average pretest score and 103.07 of average posttest score. It was supported by the statistical analysis result by using SPPS.16 with Wilcoxon test that showed that the significance score was <0.005 (0.001< 0.05), so that it could be concluded that H0 was denied which meant that there was a difference between the score in the pretest and the score in the posttest of the experimental group. It showed that there was improvement in students’ self-confidence as the result of the implementation of assertive training technique guidance. Thus it could be concluded that assertive training technique guidance was effective to enhance the self-confidence of the students in SMP Negeri in Karanganyar

Abstract

Academic engagement is important for the smooth learning process. However, in fact the involvement of students in the learning process is minimal. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of positive reinforcement to increase student academic engagement. This study is a single case experimental design, with an A-B-A design research involving one student at Global Madani Junior High School who has low academic engagement. The instrument used in this intervention is an academic engagement rating scale based on the research of Schreiner & Louis. Analysis of the data used is statistical analysis and clinical analysis. The results showed a significant increase in academic engagement through positive reinforcement on scores at baseline A1, intervention, and baseline A2. Teachers and counselors can use various kinds of positive reinforcement to make students actively involved in the learning process.

Abstract

Abstract: Integration of Counseling Services And Islamic Education In Self-Control Effort Of Senior High School StudentsSelf-control is the ability of individuals to control themselves in behavior, thinking, emotions, and decision making. Self-control can be trained through various approaches, especially counseling guidance and Islamic religious education. The purpose of this study is to determine the level of self-control of high school students and determine the intervention of guidance and counseling services integrated with Islamic religious education. This research is a type of descriptive quantitative research. Data collection was conducted on a sample of 112 people. The results of the self-control measurement score are classified into 5 category levels, namely very high, high, medium, low, and very low. The maximum score of self-control score is 119, the minimum score is 62, the average score is 90.62 and the standard deviation is 12.03. Interventions from the results of measurement and analysis as the basis for a plan for providing guidance and counseling services as well as strengthening student religiosity. The types of services include classical services, group guidance, group counseling, and spiritual guidance.Abstract: Integrasi Layanan Bimbingan Konseling dan Pendidikan Islam Dalam Upaya Kontrol Diri Siswa SMA.Kontrol diri merupakan kemampuan individu untuk mengendalikan dirinya baik dalam berperilaku, berpikir, emosi, dan pengambilan keputusan. Kontrol diri dapat dilatih melalui berbagai pendekatan khususnya bimbingan konseling dan pendidikan agama islam. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat kontrol diri peserta didik sekolah menengah atas dan menentukan intervensi layanan bimbingan dan konseling yang terintegrasi dengan pendidikan agama islam. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan pada sampel sebanyak 112 orang. Hasil skor pengukuran kontrol diri diklasifikasikan menjadi 5 tingkat kategori yaitu sangat tinggi, tinggi, sedang, rendah, dan sangat rendah. Nilai maksimal skor kontrol diri adalah 119, skor minimal 62, skor rata-rata 90,62 dan standar deviasi sebesar 12,03. Intervensi dari hasil pengukuran dan analisis sebagai dasar rencana pemberian layanan bimbingan dan konseling sekaligus menjadi penguatan religiusitas siswa. Jenis layanan tersebut diantaranya layanan klasikal, bimbingan kelompok, konseling kelompok, dan bimbingan spritual.

Abstract

Adolescents belonging to Generation Z live and are born in the era of social media. The existence of social media makes generation Z teenagers have the characteristics of socializing which is done online. The impact of the intensity that is too high to be socially connected on social media makes teenagers experience Fear of Missing Out (FoMO), namely the fear of teenagers to miss information that is viral and the tendency to compare themselves (Self-comparison) with others on social media. Adolescents who experience FoMO show negative emotions such as stress, anxiety and anxiety. This study is a literature review that discusses the role of mindfulness on the fear of missing out (FoMO) of social media in generation Z adolescents. Based on the literature review conducted, the practice of mindfulness is divided into two, namely formal and informal. The application of mindfulness practices will provide changes to three axioms, namely attention, intention and attitude to individuals, especially in the context of overcoming FoMO.Keywords : Mindfulness; Fear of Missing Out; Adolescence; Z Generation; Social Media

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to examine the effectiveness of Problem Solving Strategies (PSS) in enhancing the ability of emotion regulation for high school students. This study was carried out at Malang Smart Brawijaya High School with a sample size of 12 students equally divided into the experimental (n = 6) and control (n = 6) groups. Furthermore, the experimental group was trained on Problem Solving Strategies, contrary to the control group. Data were analyzed using Mann Whitney U Test, which is a non-parametric statistical analysis tool. The result showed that the Asymp or P-value of 0.003 <0.05, therefore, there is a significant difference between the post-test scores in the experimental and control groups. In conclusion, the Problem-Solving Strategy is an effective technique for enhancing the ability of anger regulation.  School counselors are encouraged to utilize Problem Solving Strategies as intervention techniques to enhance anger regulation. Further research needs to be carried out using behavioralistic techniques.

Abstract

Academic hardiness merupakan faktor internal yang mempengaruhi hasil akademik. Individu yang memiliki kepribadian hardiness akan dapat mengatasi tekanan-tekanan hidup sehingga perilakunya tidak maladaptif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mendiskripsikan tingkat hardiness calon guru matematika di Universitas Tidar. Penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei dengan menggunakan metode kuantitatif yang melibatkan 98 calon guru matematika. Pengambilan data menggunakan skala hardiness yang dikembangkan Bernardo Mareno-Jimenez, Alfredo Rodriguez-Munoz, Eva Garrosa Hernandez & Luis Manuel Blanco (2014) yang mencakup aspek kontrol, komitmen dan tantangan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa mahasiswa calon guru matematika memiliki tingkat academic hardiness yang sedang.

Abstract

Bencana, baik akibat alam, non alam, atau tindakan manusia, mengancam kehidupan dan penghidupan masyarakat dengan dampak serius, termasuk korban jiwa, kerusakan lingkungan, kerugian harta benda, dan dampak psikologis. Kabupaten Magelang memiliki risiko sedang terhadap bencana dengan skor 71,16. Potensi bencana di wilayah ini termasuk erupsi Merapi, angin kencang, tanah longsor, dan banjir. BPBD Magelang telah membentuk tim tanggap cepat dan relawan serta melakukan pelatihan untuk menghadapi bencana. Bencana tidak hanya memberikan dampak fisik tetapi juga psikologis, menuntut bantuan ahli dan relawan terlatih, khususnya bagi remaja dan anak-anak. Sehingga pada kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan pendekatan konselor sebaya bagi remaja, program ini menggunakan pelatihan praktek dengan tahapan identifikasi, perencanaan, pelaksanaan (penyajian materi dan praktik), dan evaluasi (selama dan pasca kegiatan) untuk meningkatkan keterampilan konselor sebaya dalam membantu korban bencana. Program layanan ini menunjukkan peningkatan pengetahuan peserta sebesar 5,21 poin dan pengembangan keterampilan praktis. Pelatihan memberikan dampak positif, termasuk peningkatan kemampuan membentuk hubungan empati dan kesiagaan menghadapi bencana. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan pelatihan konselor sebaya di Kabupaten Magelang berhasil meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta, memberikan persiapan yang lebih baik dalam menghadapi bencana, dan menyediakan dukungan psikososial kepada remaja korban.
