Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki kemampuan penalaran analogis santri dalam geometri dan mengidentifikasi kesulitan dan hambatan mereka. Penulis mendeskripsikan bagaimana kemampuan analogis dalam pemahaman konsep geometri, kemampuan penalaran analogis dalam teorema dan sifat, dan kemampunan penalaran analogis dalam masalah geometri. Penelitian ini merupakan bagian dari pengembangan bahan ajar geometri untuk meningkatkan kemampuan penalaran analogis santri. Adapun metode penelitiannya menggunakan penelitian kualitatif dalam materi teorema Pythagoras, aturan kosinus, dan teorema garis tinggi segitiga yang melibatkan 80 santri di sebuah Pondok Pesantren di Bandung, Indonesia. Hasil dari penelitian ini menemukan bahwa kemampuan penalaran analogis santri berada di kategori rendah dan cukup. Berdasarkan hasil tes dan wawancara menunjukkan santri kesulitan menuliskan persamaan Pythagoras berdasarkan gambar segitiga siku-siku dalam berbagai konteks, menuliskan persamaan kosinus berdasarkan definisi verbal dan gambar, melukis segitiga siku-siku berdasarkan persamaan Pythagoras, melakukan penalaran analogis antara teorema Pythagoras dan aturan kosinus, dan melakukan penalaran analogis berdasarkan teorema. Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini berupa kesulitan-kesulitan dan kelemahan-kelemahan santri dalam kemampuan penalaran analogis yang akan menjadi landasan untuk mengembangan bahan ajar geometri. AbstractThis study aims to investigate the analogical reasoning ability of santri in geometry and identify their difficulties and constraints. The author describes how analogical reasoning in understanding the concepts of geometry, analogical reasoning in theorems and properties, and the use of analogical reasoning in geometry problems. This research is part of the development of geometry teaching materials to improve the analogical reasoning ability of santri. The research method uses qualitative research in the material of Pythagoras theorem, the law of cosine, and triangle altitude theorem that involves 80 santri at a Pondok Pesantren in Bandung, Indonesia. The results of this study found that the santri's analogical reasoning abilities were in the low and sufficient category. Based on the results of the tests and interviews it is difficult for students to write Pythagoras equations based on right triangle images in various contexts, writing cosine equations based on verbal definitions and drawings, painting right triangles based on Pythagoras equations, analogical reasoning between Pythagorean theorem and cosine rules; doing analogical reasoning based on the theorem. The recommendation of this research is the difficulties and weaknesses of santri in analogical reasoning ability that will be the basis for developing geometry teaching materials.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk: (1) mengetahui apakah peningkatan kemampuan literasi matematis siswa yang memperoleh model PBL lebih baik daripada siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran biasa; (2) mendeskripsikan kemampuan literasi matematis siswa dilihat dari setiap indikator pada kemampuan literasi level 4. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitiannya adalah nonequivalent control group design dan deskriptif kualitatif. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa X di sebuah SMK  Negeri di Cianjur dengan sampel sebanyak dua kelas secara purposive sampling. Salah satu kelas sebagai kelas eksperimen menggunakan pembelajaran model PBL dan kelas lain sebagai kelas kontrol menggunakan pembelajaran biasa. Instrumen penelitian meliputi tes kemampuan  literasi matematis level 4. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan dapat disimpulkan bahwa; (1) peningkatan kemampuan literasi matematis siswa yang memperoleh model PBL lebih baik daripada siswa yang memperoleh pembelajaran biasa; (2) Persentase siswa dalam menjawab soal aspek literasi matematis yang mencakup indikator pertama, ketiga dan keempat lebih baik pada kelas kontrol sedangkan kelas eksperimen lebih unggul di indikator kedua.Kata Kunci: kemampuan literasi matematis level 4; Problem Based Learning (PBL)

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan penalaran analogis mahasiwa pendidikan matematika dan kesulitan yang dihadapi mahasiwa pendidikan matematika dalam menyelesaikan soal-soal kemampuan penalaran analogis. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan metode penelitian deskriftif kualitatif dimana peneliti melakukan analisis mendalam terhadap kemampuan penalaran analogis mahasiswa berdasarkan jawaban tes yang diberikan. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada 32 Mahasiswa Program Studi Pendidikan Matematika Universitas Suryakancana tahun pelajaran 2016-2017. Dari hasil penelitian ini diketahui bahwa: 1) Kemampuan penalaran analogis mahasiswa pendidikan matematika berada pada kategori sangat kurang pada dua soal, yaitu yang berkaitan dengan menentukan solusi umum dari sebuah persamaan diferensial ordo satu homogen dan menentukan solusi khusus dari sebuah persamaan diferensial ordo satu peubah terpisah. Kemudian pada kategori kurang pada dua soal, yaitu yang berkaitan dengan memeriksa sebuah persamaan adalah solusi khusus dari persamaan diferensial ordo satu. Sedangkan berada pada kategori baik pada tiga soal, yaitu menentukan solusi umum dari persamaan diferensial ordo satu eksak dan linear, serta menentukan faktor integrasi; 2) Kesulitan mahasiswa yang dihadapi pada mengidentifikasi skema dasar bentuk persamaan diferensial ordo satu peubah terpisah dan homogen dan langkah-langkah penyelesaian yang dianggap rumit sehingga ketika berhadapan dengan skema baru mereka kesulitan. Kemudian juga yang terkaitan dengan menentukan solusi khusus dan memeriksa bahwa sebuah persamaan adalah solusi khusus dari sebuah persamaan diferensial, karena berhubungan dengan persamaan diferensial ordo satu peubah terpisah.Kata Kunci: Penalaran Analogis, Mahasiwa, Persamaan Diferensial Ordo Satu

Abstract

The purpose of the research to find out whether the increase in mathematical problem solving abilities of students using the LAPS-Heuristic learning model is better than the mathematical problem solving abilities of students who use conventional learning models, how students' learning activeness attitudes towards mathematics learning using the LAPS-Heuristic learning model, and obstacles in completing problems solving. The research method used was a quasi-experimental research design with Nonequivalent control group design. The experimental class obtained learning with the LAPS-Heuristic learning model and the control class with conventional learning models. The participant in this research is all of students at seven grade. The samples used were two classes from eleven classes selected by purposive sampling technique. To obtain data from the research results, a problem solving ability test instrument was used, a questionnaire on student learning activeness, and an interview. Based on the results of data analysis the improvement of students 'mathematical problem solving abilities using the LAPS-Heuristic learning model is better than students who use conventional learning models, the students' learning activeness in the LAPS-Heuristic learning model is almost entirely positive. The obstacles experienced by students in solving the problems of mathematical problem solving abilities are that students find it difficult to understand question the problem solving abilities so that it is difficult to develop a plan to solve problems that cause obstacles in counting operations that require accuracy.

Abstract

This study aims to develop GeoGebra Dynamic Worksheets to enhance students' analogical reasoning abilities. Students are expected to interact with GeoGebra Dynamic Worksheets or Dynamic Activities. This research used Design Didactical Research (DDR). Based on the learning obstacles faced by students when carrying out the analogical reasoning process, the GeoGebra Dynamic Worksheet was developed as follows: 1) Reinforcement of the retrieval process: The GeoGebra Worksheet is designed so that students remember in advance about the material or situation that is analogous to the material to be discussed; 2) Strengthening the mapping process: GeoGebra Dynamic Worksheets are designed so that students are able to align the previous analog situation with the new analog situation; 3) Strengthening the evaluation process: several questions are displayed on the Dynamic Worksheet.

Abstract

Community Service Activities (PkM) carried out in Labuan Regency aim to improve the ability of elementary schools to develop STEAM learning evaluation tools based on local culture. The main target audience of this training activity is elementary school teachers in the Labuan Banten sub-district. Based on the identification of the problem, it is known that elementary school teachers in Labuhan lack training in the development of evaluation tools, especially in STEAM learning. As a teacher, the ability to develop evaluation tools is needed to see student development. The target to be achieved in the implementation of this PKM is to increase the knowledge and skills of elementary school teachers in developing STEAM learning evaluation tools based on local culture. The method of implementing this community service activity is to use a training method that is packaged into two activities, namely seminars and workshops. The training activity began with a one-day seminar with an offline method to provide material on the scope of local culture-based STEAM learning evaluation tools, furthermore, the teachers trained themselves to develop evaluation tools with assistance from the PKM Team through online methods. The output of this service activity is a local culture-based STEAM learning evaluation tool developed by teachers and scientific publications. The results of this PkM are 3 packages of evaluation tools.

Abstract

Penelitian pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan kreativitas dan karakter gotong royong materi sifat sifat cahaya dengan menggunakan media big komik tematik integratif. Penelitian pengembangan dilakukan dengan menggunakan model Addie. Proses pengembangan big komik tematik integratif untuk meningkatkan kreativitas dan karakter gotong royong materi sifat sifat cahaya bagi siswa kelas 4 adalah dengan model addie (analisis, design, develop, implement, evaluate). Analisis kebutuhan siswa yang menyukai komik, hal ini diketahui dari hasil wawancara dengan siswa yaitu 95% menyukai komik, desain dari big komik tematik integratif dibuat mejadi 4 komik dengan sifat sifat cahaya yang berbeda. Masing masing komik menampilkan tugas proyek sifat cahaya yang berbeda, hal ini memudahkan kelompok focus pada sifat cahaya pada komik yang dipelajari. Pengembangan big komik integratif ini dilengkapi dengan lembar aktifitas dan memuat materi sifat sifat cahaya jadi tidak hanya komik humor atau cerita biasa, namun bermuatan materi pembelajaran. Implementasi big komik tematik integratif dilakukan dalam dua tahap, uji coba kelompok kecil dan tahap kedua uji coba kelompok besar. Data pada ujicoba tahap ini diperoleh melalui angket yang diberikan pada guru dan siswa. Hasilnya layak untuk diterapkan sehingga tidak perlu dilakukan revisi. Uji coba kedua juga dinyatakan sangat layak. Evaluasi yang dilakukan yaitu evaluasi formatif Kelayakan big komik tematik integratif untuk meningkatkan kreativitas dan karakter gotong royong materi sifat sifat cahaya bagi siswa kelas 4 di SDN Jombatan III Ngoro Jombang ditinjau dari validitas, kepraktisan dan keefektifan. bahwa big komik tematik integratif berada pada kriteria valid, praktis dan efektif. Validitas dapat dilihat dari prosentase validitas ahli media sebesar 93%  dan validitas ahli materi sebesar 93% Serta validitas ahli bahasa sebesar 94, 28 %. Kepraktisan mendapatkan nilai prosentase sebesar 85% yang didapatkan dari angket siswa. Big komik tematik integratif untuk meningkatkan kreativitas dan karakter gotong royong materi sifat sifat cahaya bagi siswa kelas 4 dilihat dari hasil pre-test dan post-test. Dari hasil tersebut diketahui bahwa adanya peningkatan gotong royong dan kreativitas siswa setelah menggunakan big komik tematik integrative. Data kualitatif digunakan untuk melihat bagaimana komik mempengaruhi kreativitas dan karakter gotong royong dengan menggunakan wawancara. Dari hasil wawancara kepada siswa yang menggunakan big komik tematik integratif  hasil pengembangan menunjukkan bahwa big komik tematik integratif dapat meningkatkan kreativitas dan karakter gotong royong siswa.Kata kunci:  big komik tematik integratif, sifat sifat cahaya, kreativitas, gotong royong DEVELOPMENT OF INTEGRATIVE THEMATIC BIG COMICS TO IMPROVE CREATIVITY AND COLLABORATIVE CHARACTER MATERIAL PROPERTIES OF LIGHT FOR CLASS 4 STUDENTS ABSTRACTThis development research aims to describe the increase in creativity and the character of cooperation in the material properties of light using the integrative thematic big comic media. Development research was carried out using the Addie model. The process of developing integrative thematic big comics to increase creativity and mutual cooperation in the material properties of light for grade 4 students is the Addie model (analyze, design, develop, implement, evaluate). Analysis of the needs of students who like comics, this is known from the results of interviews with students, namely 95% like comics, the design of integrative thematic big comics is made into 4 comics with different light properties. Each comic presents a different project task on the nature of light, this makes it easier for the group to focus on the nature of light in the comic being studied. The development of this integrative big comic is equipped with an activity sheet and contains material on the properties of light so it's not just humorous comics or ordinary stories, but contains learning matIntegrative thematic big comics were implementedied out in two: small, small group trials and the second stage large group trials. The data at this stage of the trial were obtained through a questionnaire given to teachers and students. The results are feasible to apply so no revision is needed. The second trial was also declared very feasible. The evaluation carried out was a formative evaluation of the feasibility of integrative thematic big comics to increase creativity and mutual cooperation character on the nature of light for grade 4 students at SDN Jombatan III Ngoro Jombang in terms of validity, practicality and effectiveness. that integrative thematic big comics are in the valid, practical and effective criteria. The validity can be seen from the percentage validity of media experts by 93% and the validity of, and 93% and the validity of linguists by 94.28%. Practicality gets a percentage value of 85% which is obtained from a student questionnaire. Big thematic integrative comics to increase creativity and mutual cooperation character on the nature of li students seposttest resultshe results of the pre-test and post-test. From these results it is known that there is an increase in mutual cooperation and student creativity after using integrative thematic big comics. Qualitative data is used to see how comics affect creativity and the character of mutual cooperation by using interviews. From thThes of interviews with students who use integrative thematic big comics, the rhat integrative thematic big comics can increase the creativity and mutual cooperation character of students.Keywords: integrative thematic big comic, nature of light, creativity, cooperation

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' soft skills in learning support services, namely webinar tutorial (tuweb) and online tutorial (tuton), and the relationship of the soft skills to the student's grades in both tuton and tuweb, Indonesia Open University's Postgraduate Program. Aspects of the soft skills developed were 1) teamwork; 2) communication through Tuweb's discussion forums; 3) oral communication; and 4) leadership. This study used a survey method with quantitative approach. The participants were 99 students from two courses. The research instrument was online survey questionnaire using Microsoft Forms. Data analysis used descriptive statistics, correlation, and regression analysis. The results of the study were 1) students' soft skills on tuton and tuweb have developed as expected; 2) teamwork and communication skills correlate with students' attendance and discussion; 3) oral communication and leadership skills do not correlate students' discussions and assignments; and 4) teamwork and written communication skills had the most significant contribution to the tutorials' grade compared to oral communication and leadership skills.

Abstract

Perlu dikembangkan model pembelajaran matematika di pesantren yang dikaitkan dengan permasalahan yang sesuai dengan situasi di pondok pesantren, misalnya terkait dengan fiqh. Penelitian ini menggunakan Design Didactical Research (DDR). Pengembangan desain didaktis ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan Theory of Didactical Situation (TDS). Pembelajaran matematika di pesantren dirancang sebagai berikut: pembacaan ayat suci Al-Qur'an dan Hadits terkait materi pembelajaran matematika; materi dan tujuan pembelajaran yang terkait dengan ilmu keislaman; dan memberikan gambaran tentang manfaat mempelajari materi yang akan dipelajari dalam kehidupan sehari-hari, terutama ketika nantinya menjadi kader ulama. Pengembangan desain didaktis didasarkan pada teori situasi didaktis, yaitu: Situasi Devolusi, santri diberikan tantangan untuk menyelesaikan masalah zakat dan waris; Situasi Matematis, santri yang belum mampu menyelesaikan tantangan utama dibimbing melalui soal, tabel, dan petunjuk. Demikian pula santri yang sudah memiliki tebakan pemecahan masalah terus melakukan langkah-langkah untuk menguji keabsahan asumsi tersebut dengan menjawab beberapa pertanyaan, memperhatikan tabel, dan melaksanakan instruksi; Situasi Kelembagaan, santri membuat kesimpulan dengan bimbingan guru tentang poin-poin penting.It is necessary to develop a mathematics learning model in pesantren that is associated with problems that are following the situation in the Islamic boarding school, for example, related to fiqh. This study used Design Didactical Research (DDR). The development of this didactic design was carried out using the Theory of Didactical Situation (TDS). The learning mathematics in pesantren is designed as follows: reading of the holy verses of Al-Qur'an and Hadith related to mathematics learning materials; the material and learning objectives associated with Islamic knowledge; and giving an overview of the benefits of studying the material to be studied in everyday life, especially when later becoming a cadre of the ulama. Didactic design development is based on the theory of didactic situation, namely: In the case of Devolution, santri are given the challenge of solving zakat and inheritance problems; in Mathematical Situations, santri who have not been able to complete the main difficulties are guided through questions, tables, and instructions. Likewise, santri, who already has problem-solving guesses, continues to test the validity of these assumptions by answering several questions, paying attention to tables, and carrying out instructions; 3) Situation of Institutionalization, santri makes conclusions with teacher guidance about essential points.

Abstract

This study aims to see the development of student soft skills in online learning at Universitas Terbuka (UT). The case study focused on postgraduate students at UT. The soft skills aspects are teamwork and communication in webinar tutorials (Tuweb) at the UT Postgraduate Program. The selected two aspects departed from the results of previous research, which observed the development of student soft skills in several aspects. Two aspects stand out in learning, namely teamwork and communication. The data collection instrument used was Focused Group Discussion (FGD). Data analysis uses content analysis. An important result of the research is that the two aspects of students' soft skills on Tuweb have developed as expected in online learning at UT. This result is an interesting reason for students to study at UT, considering that UT conducts online learning. Students' ability develops not only from the aspect of hard skills but also from the aspect of soft skills. The study's findings suggest that online learning can be an effective way for students to develop their soft skills.  AbstrakTujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat perkembangan soft skill mahasiswa dalam pembelajaran daring di Universitas Terbuka (UT). Studi kasus berfokus pada mahasiswa pascasarjana di UT. Aspek soft skill yang dilihat adalah aspek kerjasama tim dan komunikasi dalam tutorial webinar (Tuweb) di Program Pascasarjana UT. Dua aspek yang dipilih berangkat dari hasil penelitian sebelumnya yang mengamati perkembangan soft skill mahasiswa pada beberapa aspek. Ada dua aspek yang menonjol dalam pembelajaran, yaitu kerjasama tim dan komunikasi. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah Focused Group Discussion (FGD). Analisis data menggunakan content analysis. Hasil penting dari penelitian ini adalah pengembangan kedua aspek soft skill mahasiswa pada tuweb telah berkembang sesuai dengan yang diharapkan dalam pembelajaran daring di UT. Hasil tersebut menjadi alasan menarik mahasiswa untuk kuliah di UT, mengingat UT melaksanakan pembelajaran secara daring. Kemampuan peserta didik berkembang tidak hanya dari aspek hard skill saja tetapi juga dari aspek soft skill.
