Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of marketing relationship on competitive advantage in Cargo Business Unit PT Garuda Indonesia. The research method used was descriptive verification with data analysis using simple linear regression. Primary data was collected through a survey of forty questionnaires distributed directly and online to the customers which is freight forwarding companies operating in the Soewarna Office and Warehousing Area, Soekarno Hatta Airport, Jakarta. The result of this research shows that the relationship marketing effects positive and significant to the competitive advantage of Cargo Business Unit PT Garuda Indonesia. Competitive advantage not only influenced by relationship marketing but influenced by other factors for further research. The results of this study suggest extending unit analysis to studying competitive advantage.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of corporate culture on the performance of airline employees in Jakarta. These four dimensions of Hofstede culture as a means of measuring performance use airline employees in Jakarta as respondents. This research is integrates the influence of Hofstede cultural dimension on performance. The results showed that Hofstede cultural dimension has a direct positive effect on performance.

Abstract

This study examined at the effects of ethical leadership, job chracteristics, and individual factors on airline employees’ job satisfaction. It makes use of samples of the airline employees from a Indonesia airline company. From the results of structural equation modelling analysis, ethical leadership and job chracteristics were found positive effect on airline employees’ job satisfaction as well as ethical leadership were found positive effect on airline employees’ job chracteristics. In addition, leaders are also more likely to choose employees who are able to work independently and see the value of their own work and work with an ethical environment.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the effect of ship visits and draught ship with terminal performance by throughput dock. The main problem of this research is about the low of utilization in loading and unloading and box crane hour. This quantitative research used path analysis method. There were 30 respondents from PT Plindo II in container terminal at Tanjung Priok port. The result of the hypothesis on the structure of model -1 showed that the variable of ship visits, draught ship, and throughput dock have positive and significant impact in terminal performance. The structure of model -2 showed that the variable of ship visits and draughput ship have positive and significant impact through terminal performance. On the structure model -2 partially in visit variable and draught ship have positive and significant impact through terminal performance and throghtput dock indirectly. Based on the data, there is positive and significant impact between ship visits, draught ship, and throughput dock of terminal performance in container terminal at Tanjung Priok port.

Abstract

Law Number 33 of 2014 concerning Halal Product Guarantee (JPH) and Government Regulation Number 31 of 2019 concerning JPH Implementation Regulations have been issued for the halal industry which continues to grow its market share both in the world and in Indonesia. This industry requires a Logistics Service Provider (LSP) company that is halal certified or commonly called halal logistics for storage and distribution services with transportation services in it. Apart from products and processes, halal logistics readiness has an important role in supply chain management as a factor in the Halal Assurance System (HAS). The purpose of this community service activity is to socialize halal logistics to stakeholders who will be directly involved in halal logistics activities. This outreach activity was carried out by providing partners with a framework of halal logistics, Halal Assurance System (SJH) and Halal Logistics opportunities in Indonesia. The method of delivering Halal Logistics socialization materials is carried out by using offline and on-line meetings, discussions and questions and answers. The result of this activity is the increased knowledge and understanding of the community regarding halal logistics. BAHASA INDONESIA ABSTRACT: Undang-Undang Nomor 33 Tahun 2014 tentang Jaminan Produk Halal (JPH) serta Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 31 Tahun 2019 tentang Peraturan Pelaksanaan JPH telah dikeluarkan untuk industri halal yang terus berkembang pangsa pasarnya baik di dunia maupun di Indonesia. Industri ini membutuhkan perusahaan Logistics Service Provider (LSP) yang bersertifikat halal atau biasa disebut logistik halal untuk jasa penyimpanan dan distribusi dengan jasa transportasi didalamnya.  Selain di bidang produk dan proses, kesiapan logistik halal mempunyai peranan penting dalam manajemen rantai pasokan sebagai salah satu faktor Sistem Jaminan Halal (SJH). Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah mensosialisasikan halal logistik kepada para stakeholder yang akan terlibat langsung dalam aktifitas halal logistik. Kegiatan sosialisasi ini dilaksanakan dengan memberikan kerangka pikir dari logistik halal, Sistem Jaminan Halal (SJH) serta peluang Logistik Halal di Indonesia kepada mitra. Metode penyampaian materi sosialisasi Logistik Halal dilakukan dengan menggunakan pertemuan offline maupun on line, diskusi dan tanya jawab. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah meningkatnya pengetahuan dan pemahaman masyarakat terkait logistik halal.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah Untuk mengetahui adanya pengaruh tiga variabel kompetensi pegawai, efektivitas peralatan Ground Support Equipment (Peralatan Penunjang Pelayanan Darat Pesawat Udara) dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kepuasan kerja pada PT. Jasa Angkasa Semesta di Bandar Udara Soekarno-Hatta Jakarta, Metode penelitian ; metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Hasil dari penelitian ini secara lagsung dan tidak langsung, Untuk pengaruh langsung antara variabel kompetensi pegawai, efektivitas peralatan GSE dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kualitas pelayanan diatas dapat disimpulkan bahwa kualitas pelayanan Bagian Operasional PT. Jasa Angkasa Semesta di Bandar Udara Soekarno-Hatta Jakarta, memiliki urutan yaitu kepuasan kerja sebesar 0.489 atau 48.9%, kompetensi pegawai 0.262 atau 26.2% dan efektivitas peralatan GSES sebesar 0.262 atau 26.2%, dan pengaruh tidak langsung dapat disimpulkan bahwa kompetensi pegawai memberikan kontribusi terhadap kepuasan kerja disebabkan oleh kemampuan-kemampuan yang dimiliki pegawai dalam menyelesaikan pekerjaan karena mampu memenuhi target dan tujuan perusahaan yang telah ditentukan kepuasan tersendiri oleh para pegawai.

Abstract

Era industri 4.0 yang bercirikan smart automation yang dipicu dengan pengembangan Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) telah merubah pola bisnis di dunia dari offline menjadi online. Kesiapan mahasiswa sebagai generasi muda untuk menghadapi era industri tersebut harus dipersiapkan dari sekarang. Kesiapan SDM merupakan suatu persyaratan dasar untuk dapat bersaing di pasar bagi mahasiswa setelah menamatkan pendidikan. Persaingan bergeser menjadi manusia melawan mesin. Salah satu pelatihan soft skill dapat diterapkan kepada mahasiswa melalui UKM MENWA. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil yang didapat adalah character building yang berbasis leadership, problem solving dan collaboration merupakan suatu competitive advantage bagi mahasiswa dalam era industri ini. Character building sebagai suatu proses atau usaha yang dilakukan untuk membina, memperbaiki dan membentuk tabiat, watak, sifat kejiwaan, akhlak, insan manusia sehingga menunjukkan perangai dan tingkah laku yang baik berlandaskan nilai Pancasila serta membutuhkan suatu konsistensi swa disiplin. Di sisi lain, character building berupa swa disiplin yang sudah terbentuk juga dapat dipergunakan untuk menurunkan radikalisme - sebagai paham atau aliran yang menginginkan perubahan atau pembaharuan social dan politik dengan cara kekerasan atau drastis - di institusi pendidikan MENWA mempunyai peranan penting dalam mengimplementasikan pendidikan character building sebagai soft skill yang telah diperoleh dengan kebutuhan di era industri 4.0.
