Maternal and child health efforts are part of the health center's mandatory health efforts. The government has implemented an integrated program through activities carried out by the Maternal and Child Health Program. The aim is to make it easy to get explanations about maternal and child health, understand the dangers that need to be taken into account during pregnancy and access services that can be obtained at health services. The PkM activity method is a pre-test activity, an exam is carried out to determine the description of the knowledge and attitudes of pregnant women regarding the use of maternal and child health books for pregnant women. This activity is carried out by asking pregnant women to fill out a questionnaire regarding the material to be presented. The results of PkM activities through mentoring and education are in an effort to increase pregnant women's knowledge about the use of Maternal and Child Health books, as well as creating innovative products to improve the health of pregnant women. Therefore, before being given education, it appears that the majority of mothers had poor knowledge, whereas after education the majority of mothers had good knowledge about the use of maternal and child health books.

Abstract

Many factors can affect the involution process including postpartum exercises, breastfeeding, early mobilization, nutritional status, parity and age. One of the factors that influence uterine involution is postpartum exercise and parity. Mothers who do not do puerperal exercises have a slower involution process and high parity involution process becomes slower, because the more often pregnant, the uterus will often experience strain. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between postpartum exercises and parity with the process of uterine involution at the Regional General Hospital of Central Sulawesi Province. The design of this study used the Surveyanalytic method with a Cross Sectional approach. Cross Sectional is a research design by measuring and observing the independent and related variables only once at the same time and at the time of the study. This research was conducted at Central Sulawesi Provincial Hospital. The results of the analysis show that the results of the statistical analysis test using the Chi-square test obtained a value of ρvalue = 0.000 (ρ < 0.05), where Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected, which means there is a significant relationship between parity and the process of involutionouteri. The conclusion is that there is a relationship between postpartum exercises, parity with the involution process at the Central Sulawesi Provincial General Hospital. This is because postpartum exercises help heal the uterus, abdomen, and hip muscles that have been traumatized and accelerate the return of these parts to normal form while parity, due to the state of the uterus which is increasingly pregnant uterus is also often stretched.

Abstract

High interest in the contraceptive Medroxy Progesterone Acetate goes hand in hand with acceptor complaints about weight gain. This study aims to determine the effect of parity on the continued use of Medroxy Progesterone Acetate and Cyclofem injections. This research was carried out at the Bantimurung Maros Community Health Center with the research design used was a Cross Sectional Study research. In this research design, a survival analysis study will be used. Data analysis was carried out univariately, bivariately using the logrank test, and multivariately using the Cox Proportional Hazards Model Regression test. The results showed that parity was a factor related to continued use, with a value of (p = 0.011). Our hope is that the community, especially mothers who want to become acceptors, will be more effective in using and becoming acceptors of injectable family planning.
