Abstract

This study aims to determine the causal factors and models of radicalization among the young generation. The research data were processed from various kinds of literature using several specified procedures, including the process of compiling, analyzing, and drawing conclusions from multiple reputable national and international journals relevant and online news portals related to radicalism among students. The results of the research show that radicalization occurs at two primary levels, namely micro and macro. As well as specifically caused by push, pull, and personal factors. The tendency of vulnerable individuals (students) to be affiliated with radical groups because the process of radicalization that is formed through phases or stages becomes increasingly radical. The process starts from the phase of sensitivity to deviant ideology, changes in behavior, joining radical groups, and ending in acts of violence (terrorism).

Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of teaching campus programs on increasing civic engagement. This research uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive method. Furthermore, the results obtained were analyzed using a partial t test and simple linear regression. The contribution made by students in the implementation of this teaching campus program is the involvement of citizens (students), it can be known through the summary model of linear regression test results, we can know that the magnitude of the correlation value (R) is equal to 0.708 of the results can be obtained coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.501 means that in the implementation of campus teaching program contributed 50.1% in increasing student civic engagement. While 49.9% civic engagement can be influenced by other variables that are not studied. Then the hypothesis test results show that the value of tcount = 9.015 ttable 1.989, then it can be concluded that H1 or the first hypothesis is accepted. This means that there is an influence between the implementation of campus teaching programs (X) to increase student civic engagement (Y).

Abstract

The pandemic has widened the barrier to character decline in education. Modified learning through online stops various character education approaches that are carried out directly in face-to-face. The purpose of this study is to describe the role of the collaboration of four parties (Tetra helix) which encourages the implementation of character education during the pandemic. Through a mix design approach with the parallel convergent method, a research was carried out involving 70 respondents from school principals, teachers, committees, parents and students. The results show that Tetra Helix plays a major role in providing effective education during the Pandemic. The clear division of roles has an impact on strengthening the various characters of students even in limited circumstances

Abstract

Berpikir kritis merupakan salah satu kemampuan yang harus dimiliki oleh setiap warga negara di abad 21. Kemampuan berpikir kritis diperlukan agar warga negara dapat mengambil keputusan secara bijak dan tepat yang bermanfaat bagi dirinya maupun lingkungannya. Salah satu upaya untuk mengembangkan keterampilan berpikir kritis pada warga negara adalah dengan meningkatkan keterampilan literasi. Lingkungan pendidikan khususnya sekolah perlu mengembangkan keterampilan literasi bagi peserta didik untuk menumbuhkan kemampuan berpikir kritisnya. Guru di sekolah termasuk guru PKn mempunyai tanggung jawab untuk meningkatkan kualitas peserta didiknya dengan mengembangkan keterampilan literasi. Oleh karena itu penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi yang diterapkan guru PKn dalam membangun keterampilan literasi peserta didik mengingat keterampilan literasi pada peserta didik di Indonesia masih rendah. Desain yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif dan kajian pustaka. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah melakukan wawancara melalui media sosial seperti WhatsApp. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara umum strategi yang diterapkan guru PKn dalam membangun keterampilan literasi pada siswanya dilakukan dengan cara mengarahkan siswa untuk membaca sebelum memulai kegiatan pembelajaran, serta menyajikan soal-soal berbasis Asesmen Kompetensi Minimal (AKM) pada kegiatan asesmen formatif dan sumatif. Strategi tersebut diharapkan dapat menghasilkan warga negara yang memiliki keterampilan literasi yang tinggi, sehingga terwujud warga negara yang berkualitas untuk kemajuan bangsa dan masyarakat.
