Abstract

This study aims to develop a multiliteration of Arabic language learning based on local wisdom in public universities that are valid, effective, efficient, and practical so that it can be used as an alternative to other learning models applied by Arabic lecturers. This study uses a qualitative approach with the pattern "the dominantless dominant design" and research and development (R&D) research design. The research was conducted in two stages: (1) a preliminary study (exploratory study), and (2) development of a model (Action Research. Abstract

This article studies the process of transmission of Qaṣīdah Burdah texts of al-Buṣīrī. This study is carried out by comparing some manuscripts of it with the editions available now. This effort aims to know the process of transmission of knowledge from one generation to another and know how knowledge as the core of civilization is maintained from time to time. This study will scrutinize both the uniformity and the difference of the text; from its handwriting form to a living printed text nowadays. This article is intended to look at both the internal history of texts and the history of reception. Having evaluated the editions and collated the manuscripts of al-Buṣīrī’s Qaṣīdah Burdah preserved in the library of Leiden University, I conclude that there are no significant differences between the editions available nowadays and the manuscripts. The differences only relate to technical matters, such as the division of chapter and the way of reciting.

Abstract

Qibla's direction of several mosques and musola buildings in Bandung Wetan Sub-District needs to be re-verified. The right direction of the Qibla from the city of Bandung is 295 ° 10 '. The deviation varies due to the condition of the building structure, such as in the alley and following the shape of the land size. It was also caused by the use of tools without calibration and the lack of understanding of the surrounding community about the importance of facing the Qibla when performing prayer. This study aims to analyze the mapping of the direction of the mosque and the musola in Bandung Wetan Sub-District. This study uses a qualitative approach resulting from field observations, with the interactive analysis technique of Miles and Huberman, through the reduction of data generated from the measurement of the Qibla direction, the presentation of essential data on the Qibla direction deviation, and the inference. The results of this study indicate that 70.1% of mosques / musola deviate in the direction of Qibla under 1 degree, while the remaining 29.9% above 1 degree with the furthest deviation by 7°6’

Abstract

This study aims to examine the patterns and narratives of the Islamic movement in Universitas Negeri Jakarta. The type of research is qualitative with a case study approach. The results of this study indicate that there are two types of Islamic movements in UNJ in the form of national and transnational movements. The pattern of the national Islamic movements in UNJ is represented by the academic activities organised through the PAI (Islamic Religious Education) study programme within the campus, and extra-campus MATAN organisation. Meanwhile, the transnational Islamic movements are represented by the Lembaga Dakwah Kampus (LDK) within the campus, and extra-campus organizations which include KAMMI, BMCI, and Nyantrend. The narrative of the Islamic movement promoted by the PAI (IRE) study programme through academic activities is Islamic moderation “more moderate more Indonesia,” MATAN as a national Islamic movement develops the narrative of Islamic Rahmatan Li al-’Alamin. LDK carries the slogan of Symuliatul Islam, KAMMI builds Islamic stories with Islam Shamil, BMCI Islamic narratives are preached with the slogan of Islam Kaffah, and Nyantred creates a narrative of Islam Ahlu Sunnah.
