Penulis-penulis yang telah mengisi edisi jurnal merupakan dosen STP Trisakti ditambah dengan penulis-penulis lepas yang berasal dari institusi pendidikan, institusi pemerintah, wartawan serta pemerhati-pemerhati bidang kepariwisataan. Berikutnya pada tahun 2006 Jurnal Ilmiah Pariwisata kembali mendapat Akreditasi Dikti No. 55a/Dikti/Kep/2006.

Abstract

Term mafia is often heard in cases of international crimes involving money laundering businesses, selling drugs, human trafficking and others. Term mafia has entered into the tourism business in Bali Province. Mafia accommodation activities in Bali weaken the authority of Indonesia Republic with illegal activities. This research was conducted to find out how far practice of tourism accommodation mafia in Bali Province and authority of Provincial Government of Bali in eradicating the accommodation mafia in accordance with the division of government affairs both central, provincial and regional. The research method in this study uses the normative legal method, analyzing the problem based on rule of law, authority theory, tourism concept, tourism mafia concept and decentralization principle. Using legal analysis techniques and legal evaluation in determining the limitations of the authority of the Provincial Government in making policies. The results of this study indicate that the principle of freedom of contract is not a justification of the nominee agreement as the legal basis for accommodation mafia activities. There is a need to update regional regulations so that mafia activities can be ensnared by legal. Keywords: Mafia Tourism; International Crime; Tourism Law

Abstract

SMKN 3 is the only State Vocational School that has the competence of Hospitality Accommodation expertise in the city of Bogor. Hospitality Accommodation expertise competencies focus on vocational hospitality in particular hotel room division. So that the target of hospitality accommodation graduates can be a competent workforce in the Front Office or Housekeeping department in the hotel. But over time, the competency of hospitality accommodation expertise at SMKN 3 Bogor has become increasingly popular but is not the first choice for career selection after graduation, especially in housekeeping learning. In this study, using a descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The population is students from SMK Negeri 3 Bogor in particular are 85 students in the Hospitality Accommodation Expertise Competency. The study was conducted in April - July 2015, with the distribution of questionnaire questionnaires on May 25-27 2015 located at SMK Negeri 3 Bogor which is located at Jalan Raya Pajajaran No. 84 RT 05/06, Babakan, North Bogor, West Java. The results of the study are students who study Housekeeping in their schools and have the motivation to learn Housekeeping in their schools greatly affect the lives of these students every day. Students who choose a career in the field of Housekeeping because according to their personality can help these students interact with many people. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors of foreign or foreign tourist visits and hotel occupancy rates on the income of the tourism sub-sector in the tourism industry in DIY from 2007 to 2018 which aims to determine how much influence the number of foreign tourist visits. tourist visits. or foreigners and the level of lodging in hotels to revenue from the PAD sector in the tourism sub-sector in DIY Province for the period 2007-2018. This research is descriptive and associative, the data used in this study are secondary data in the prone period 2007 to 2018 which were obtained from the Yogyakarta Province Central Bureau of Statistics and the Yogyakarta Provincial Tourism Office. The analytical tool used in this research is multiple regression analysis techniques. The results of the study found that there was a positive influence between the number of foreign tourists visiting and the level of hotel lodging on the revenue revenue of the tourism sub-sector in Yogyakarta in 2007-2018. Abstract

This research aims to community movements both spontaneously and in an organized manner, such as the Trash Hero Indonesia community and other community activities that care about the high waste generation. In addition to the Trash Hero community, in-depth interviews were conducted with the Waste Bank and tourist attraction in knowing the management of waste generation. It is hoped that alternative activities will be obtained to help reduce the generation of plastic waste that supports the implementation of Bali Governor Regulation number 97 of 2018. Activities from the community are expected to be able to maintain and provide a positive legacy for future generations. The purpose of this research is to find movements made by the community to help reduce the generation of plastic waste on the island of Bali. The results of this study are expected to increase public awareness of waste management both organic and non organic. Keywords : Waste; Plastic; Tourism Image

Abstract

Since 2009, local government Jombang region assigned Jarak Village-Wonosalam as one of agrotourism destination in Mojowarno agropolitan area. Jarak Village has a lot tourism potential, but not mapped yet properly so it hasn’t develop yet. Furthermore, human respource quality in the village are low since the villager mostly just elementary school graduate and also lack of tourism knowledge. This is an exploratory descriptive study with aims to mapping the potency then develop it into unique tourism attraction/destination. The data were collected trough observation, interview and focus group discussion then processed using triangulation method. Descriptive analysis was applied and bring out 19 potential attraction in Jarak Village include natural attraction, man-made attraction and cultural attraction. Abstract

Baron Beach is one of the beaches in Yogyakarta which is directly adjacent to the Indian Ocean. This beach has potential resources that can be developed into sustainable tourism. This article discusses the strategy of processing the existing resources on Baron Beach to become sustainable tourism in welcoming the Indian Ocean Century. The research was conducted using a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out by observation and interviews. Data processing was performed by using Triagulation analysis techniques and SWOT analysis. Several strategies that can be applied in developing Baron Beach into sustainable tourism include; (1) Developing Of disability-friendly tourism facilities and culinary-based marine tourism; (2) Establishing a fishermen education tourism center in Gunungkidul; (3) Organizing national and international culinary events; (4) Add eco-friendly tourist attractions; (5) Conducting comparative studies on tourism management in a professional manner which also develops effective and sustainable tourism products, partnership patterns and community empowerment. Abstract

Apart from providing benefits, the existence of tourist objects can also have a negative impact. However, the possible negative impact can be controlled by applying the Tri Hita Karana concept to tourist objects. A combination of quantitative and qualitative research or commonly called mix method is used in this research. This study aims to analyze the effect of tukad bindu ecotourism on community welfare and to determine the application of Tri Hita Karana in tukad bindu. The results showed that the development of tukad bindu ecotourism did not significantly affect the standard of living of the surrounding community. This is because the development of tukad bindu ecotourism has only been running for two years since 2017. The existence and development of the tukad bindu has a positive effect on the community, especially in the economic, environmental and social aspects of the moderate category. Tri Hita Karana in tukad bindu has been implemented quite well in the moderate category. Keywords: Tukad Bindu; Ecotourism; Tri Hita Karana; Welfare

Abstract

Employee performance is the most important aspect in the operations of a company. In maintaining or improving employee performance, activities and plans are required by the HR Department. This study aims to analyze whether training and motivation affect employee performance. This research was conducted in a café located in South Jakarta, the samples were employees wich work in the café. This research applied a quantitative descriptive method with correlation and hypothesis testing. The result confirmed that the training variable has a significant effect on employee performance. Work motivation variable has a positive effect on employee performance. The coefficient value of the work motivation variable is greater than the coefficient of the training variable, indicating that the work motivation variable tends to be more dominant in determining employee performance. Abstract

This research about culinary creativity development was conducted in Depok City, West Java. Depok is a metropolitan city located near Jakarta, capital city of Indonesia. Depok has various local culinary that not known well yet. Whereas previous study shows that culinary is one of emerging tourism attractions. This research aim to describe dan propose strategy to develop culinary creativity in Depok City, and can attract tourist to visit and taste local culinary in Depok. Using interview and observation, research conducted on August 2019- January 2020. It was found that Depok City has potential in culinary and need to be improved using the mapping method of the culinary ecosystem. Depok has been applying creativity in creating attractive culinary experience, but chef competencies is need to be improved. This creativity must be completed with good promotion and publication, culinary events that held routinely and in a large scale,archiving and documentation, and prioritize traditional Indonesian cuisines. Abstract

To improve the quality of tourism human resources with global quality, tourism universities hold an internship program in the tourism industry abroad. This study aims to reveal (1) students' perceptions of the internship program in the tourism industry abroad; (2) student satisfaction with the internship program in the tourism industry abroad; and (3) the influence of perceptions on student satisfaction with the internship program in the tourism industry abroad. The study population was all students from higher education in tourism in Jakarta and its surroundings who had completed an internship program in the tourism industry abroad. Samples were taken using convenient sampling using valid and reliable instruments with 4 Likert scales with Google Form media (N = 100). The results of the analysis with SPSS 22 showed that students' perceptions were good, while students was categorized as satisfied with the internship program. The result of the correlation test confirmed the significant relationship between perception variables and satisfaction on the program. The regression analysis showed that students’ perception significantly affected their internship satisfaction. The results of this study serve as a valuable input for the campus, industry, and policy makers to improve the design of the internship program curriculum.
