Abstract

It is very important to have top-level human resources that are globally competitive in this era of constant change. Limited use of concrete media is a reason that contributes to decreased efficiency, creativity, and engagement in the classroom. The purpose of this research is to assess the feasibility and efficiency of various learning media. The ADDIE R&D model was used in this study. The results of the validation test by material and media experts showed a score of 33 out of 40, or 82.5%, which indicated that this product was "very feasible". The learning expert gives it a score of 38 out of 40, or 95%, which also indicates that the product is "very feasible". The effectiveness test was carried out by pretest and posttest, which showed an increase of 51.6 points, and the questionnaire given to students showed product usability of 90.5%, which means this product is "very feasible". Observations on the implementation of the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project show that student profile characters have developed from level 2 to level 4. Based on research results, the "Water Detective" media can optimize learning and be used as a reference in facilitating the learning process.

Abstract

VUCA Disruption (Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity, and Ambiguity) is one of the difficulties faced by society in the 5.0 era, which is a combination of the virtual world and the physical world. Therefore, the global community must adapt quickly and be malleable in the face of changing circumstances. The 4Cs (critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and communication) are essential 21st-century skills. To keep up with global trends, the Indonesian government has implemented a curriculum that emphasises individual initiative and responsibility. This study aims to analyse the independent learning curriculum from the perspective of quality education in Islam. Free learning is the latest government policy related to the education curriculum, so an analysis based on an Islamic education perspective needs to be carried out to see how the concept of independent learning is used in Islamic education. The method used in this study is a descriptive-qualitative approach with literature study data collection. The results of the research show that the government's independent learning curriculum system can accommodate the skills needs of the 5.0 era of society. The concepts and programmes of independent learning can improve critical and creative thinking skills and develop communication and collaboration skills. Freedom of learning is more directed so that individuals can compete in the global arena. As for holistic Islamic education, it does not only respect the importance of building skills but also realises learning that glorifies knowledge without reducing Islamic character values. Therefore, this self-learning curriculum strategy needs to be adapted to pay attention to values education and 21st century skill development.

Abstract

The problems of education in the 21st century face the challenge of how to give birth to a generation that has the ability to think critically and skills for solving life's problems. These problems can be answered through pedagogical innovations. This study aims to analyze the form of educational innovation carried out by Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia and Malaysia in the 21st century. This research method uses a qualitative approach with a systematic literature review (SLR) type. The tools used to codify the literature are publish and perish, ERIC, and Google Scholar. The codification results found 64 articles on Islamic Boarding School Innovation in Malaysia and 207 in Indonesia. Codified articles based on year boundaries between 2013 and 2023 The results of the study found that the educational innovations of Islamic boarding schools in Indonesia and Malaysia from 2013–2023 had differences in aspects of technology use, community involvement, collaboration with other educational institutions, a combination of religious and general education, and aspects of project-based education. The similarities between the two are increasing the faith of Muslims through religious education and creating generations of noble characters. To face the challenges of the 21st century, it requires the role of a transformational and distributive leader who can foster unity, foster partnerships, foster cooperation, promote democracy, foster tolerance, and engage in leadership practices.

Abstract

The learning process is not fully student-centered. Assessment tends to give a score and ignore the ability to think critically. It is necessary to change the use of learning strategies, methods and media that activate students more in the learning process to develop critical thinking skills, in this case the use of Mentimeter media can be an alternative. This study aims to determine the implementation of the mentimeter application in learning Al Islam Kemuhammadiyahan (AIK) on Ramadan fasting material, and find out how mentimeter media can improve critical thinking skills in third-diploma students in nursing, Muhammadiyah University of Pekajangan Pekalongan consisting of 32 students in class A as class experiment and 34 students in class B as the control class. This research method uses a type of quantitative research with quasi-experimental methods, pre-test research design and post-test control group design. Based on the prerequisite test these two groups were not homogeneous and not normally distributed. The results of the study used the Mann Whiteney test and it was known that the Asymp value. Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.00 0, which is less than 0.05, according to the Mann Whitney U test decision-making basis it can be concluded that Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. This shows that there are significant differences in learning outcomes in the experimental class and the control class. The findings from this study indicate that media meter can effectively improve critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Lack of pedagogical skills on the part of teachers and lack of available time are contributors to students' inadequate levels of understanding. Utilizing various forms of educational materials is one way to help alleviate this problem. The purpose of this study is to analyze media design with a clear storyline and characteristics that determine the level of students' interest in their education. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study approach. Observation, interview, and documentation are the main methods used in the data collection process. Before, in the middle, and after the learning experience with the media is observed. Textbooks and media created in the Articulate Storyline are the documentation used. To perform data analysis, data is first summarized, then presented, and finally conclusions drawn. Based on the findings of this study, the most basic step that needs to be taken in the process of making media is to review the concept and design of the media as a whole. This is done so that the creation of Articulate Narrative media in Islamic History lectures is as easy as possible. In addition, the design must be modified to accommodate the varying demands and learning styles of the student population. There are internal and extrinsic factors that play a role in determining the level of interest in learning a student. The use of Articulate Storyline which is an innovative learning media is an example of extrinsic elements that have the potential to help students develop an interest in learning.

This study uses a qualitative method with a phenomenological study approach in Makassar City, involving Muhammadiyah Branch Managers, Muhammadiyah Youth Cadres, and the surrounding community as informants. Primary data and secondary data are used as types and sources of data. Data collection is done through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis involves data reduction, data presentation, and verification, using source triangulation, time triangulation, and technical triangulation to ensure data validity. The results of the study show that social pathology continues to occur in Makassar City society due to the heterogeneous complexity of society. The Muhammadiyah organization has an important role in reducing cases of social pathology in accordance with their vision and mission which is an Islamic movement. This movement also provides ethical, moral, and akhlakul karimah guidelines in the social order of society.
