Abstract

This research is expected to find out: 1) the inhibiting variables that cause the lack of attention of the youth of Jambula Village to study in additional schools. 2) financial/economic elements that make the younger generation of Jambula Village ignore further teaching. This kind of investigation is an undeniable abstract judgment. The number of respondents was 15. The certainty of the method in this study used purposive review/sampling, with the younger generation in Jambula Village as the main witnesses and the mentors/caregivers of teenagers as resource persons. Data collection techniques used are deepening/perception, meetings and documentation. The data checking methodology uses data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that: 1) the internal components that make the youth of Jambula City further foster youth are: a) lack of inspiration or desire to continue to college, b) wanting to be independent by looking for work after continuing high school. 2) External factors that cause it are the financial or economic limitations of the school are very large and the social environment factor itself.

Abstract

This research is a literature study with a descriptive qualitative research type with library research which seeks to describe the franchise business in the field of education in terms of the perspective of Tri Hita Karana. In this literature study the author uses various written sources such as articles, journals and documents relevant to the study in this study. This study focuses on the description of the franchise business in the field of Education (Primagama, Kumon, Bimba Aiueo, And Go) and how it is applied in the perspective of Tri Hita Karana. The results of the study show that tutoring such as Ganesha Operation, Primagama, Bimba Aiueo, and Kumon have been developed based on Tri Hita Karana both explicitly and implicitly and not only concerned with profit. The form of franchise development in education based on Tri Hita Karana includes continuing to try to develop their franchise by continuing to believe in god (parahyangan), behaving well to students and workers (pawongan), and finally using electronic media to replace paper that will be used. impact on the environment (palemahan).

Abstract

This research aims to: 1) know the difference in interest in learning mathematics between students who follow the problem-based learning model with students who follow conventional learning models, 2) know the difference in mathematics learning outcomes between students who follow the problem-based learning model and students who follow conventional learning models, 3) simultaneously know the differences in learning interests and learning outcomes of mathematics between students who follow the problem-based learning model and students who follow conventional learning models. This study is a quasi-experiment with randomized post-test only control group design. The population of this study is all students in grade V elementary school, cluster XV, Buleleng district. There were 182 students, while the study sample comprised 60 students, comprising 30 students as a control group and 30 students in an experimental group. The research instrument uses questionnaires to measure interest and tests to measure students learning outcomes, which are further analyzed using one-way manova. the results showed: 1) there was a significant difference in the learning interests of students who followed the problem-based learning model with conventional learning, 2) there are significant differences in math learning outcomes that follow problem-based learning models compared to conventional learning, 3) there are differences in learning interests and math learning outcomes of students who follow problem-based learning models and conventional learning. The results of data analysis show that the application of problem-based learning models has a significant influence on students nterests and learning outcomes.

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to know the application of methods cross group discussion to increase creativity and learning outcomes of SMPN 4 Liukang Tangaya. Research is class action research. Observation and test data collection techniques. Analytical descriptive data analysis techniques. Research shows that 1) The percentage of student creativity increases drastically with each cycle, with student creativity falls into a sufficient category in cycle I and develops into a good category in cycle II. 2) Student learning outcomes each cycle increased by 100%, completion rate in cycle I 28.6%, average learning outcomes 70.71%, completion rate in cycle I 28.6%, cycle II completion rate 100%, with average learning outcomes 93.57%.

Abstract

This research is motivated by various phenomena of moral decadence that result in immoral behavior, such as corrupt behavior, sexual harassment, sadistic murder and so on. The study of character education is felt to be very urgent to answer these various phenomena. This research aims to describe the importance of internalizing the values ​​of character education as a solution to the nation's civilization. This study uses a qualitative approach, while data processing is carried out through a literature review. In order to answer immoral behavior, the application of character education must be based on religious values, law, culture, decency, and decency, which are internalized through education, experience, and experimentation. The results of the research indicate that it is necessary to internalize the values ​​of character education, both at the level of formal and informal education, so that universally the role of each element in society is the foundation in shaping the nation's character. Thus, there are three things that can be done in character building as a solution to the degradation of national civilization, namely; 1) Building an example for the nation's elite, 2) Empowering educators, and 3) Supporting the social, cultural, and religious environment.

Abstract

During the covid-19, social distancing is required to prevent the spread of the covid-19 virus. Therefore, in the world of education, the government applies distance education or what is often referred to as online learning. There are obstacles in online learning, such as an indication of student in discipline, which is caused by boredom with online learning, lazy to study, lack of understanding of the material being taught. This study aims to determine the impact of online learning on Buddhist students, and to determine the discipline of Buddhist students when participating in online learning. The method in this study uses a qualitative approach, namely a case study conducted at SMAN 1 Donorojo. The resultsand conclusions in this study indicate that there are positive and negative impacts arising from online learning. The positive impact is that students can recognize and operate technology well. The negative impact is that students are not able to learn independently because they do not understand if the material is not explained in detail, besides that students feel bored because of the lack of interaction with friends and teachers. Through online learning, it can be concluded that online learning makes students less disciplined, this is because students experience learning burnout due to boredom about monotonous material and the pressure from many tasks given by the teacher who are targeted to be completed on the same day. Therefore, students are lazy and bored with studying, so students are late in submitting assignments.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to investigate the EFL students’ satisfaction on the implementation of blended learning at STKIP Agama Hindu Singaraja This research is a quantitative survey. The sample of this research was 76 undergraduate students of English education department STKIP Agama Hindu Singaraja. The data were gathered by using 5-point Likert scale questionnaire. The questionnaire validity and reliability checked and showed that the questionnaire was valid and had a high reliablity.  The data were analysed by using quantitative with SPSS program. The findings showed that students were very saisfied toward the implementation of blended learning (M=4.03, SD=.759). In conclusion, blended learning could be implemented in today’s Covid-19 pandemic situation as it provides more opportunity for students to engage in learning process.

Abstract

The application of video media in learning that is less than optimal is due to one of the reasons for the limited facilities. Learning media as a means of distributing information to students cannot be obtained by students optimally. This study describes the impact produced by animated video learning media on students' cognitive learning outcomes. The aim is to determine the effect on student cognitive learning outcomes caused by animated video media whose use is supported by a guided inquiry learning model. The type of research is experimental with the design that is used as a reference is the non-equivalent control group design. The subjects used were students of SDN 1 Pesanggaran with class VA and class VB being the observed sample. The experimental activity carried out was the prvision of treatment in the form of learning that utilized animated video media with a guided inquiry learning model as a learning style. After the research was conducted, the results of the students’ initial and final tests (pre and post) were obtained. Each result of the initial ability test of students from the two classes is the control class = 61,84 while the experimental class = 58,01. After the experimental class was treated and the control class was not, the posttest result were obtained, namely the control class was 75,61 while the experimental class was 82,05. Based on the t-test, it is known that the value of tcount=4,545 and the price of ttabel=1,665. Referring to the calculation of the t-test, namely tcount > ttable, the result of the decision is the use of animated video media wich is supported by a guided inquiriy learning model that has an impact on students’ cognitive learning outcomes. there is an effect of using animated video media through guided inquiry learning models on students’ cognitive learning outcomes. Then the calculation of the relative effectiveness value shoews that the application of animated video media through the guided inquiry learning model is relatively effective at 57%.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how the planning, implementation and learning outcomes of the sociological model of CTL based on the Google Classroom Application. This research method used qualitative research method in the form of descriptive research. The results of the study indicated that what is used as a reference for learning planning is a online lesson plan which contains material on social problems that have been made in accordance with government regulations and preparations for using the Google Classroom Application. In the implementation of sociological learning using the CTL model based on the Google Classroom Application, the teacher did according to the lesson plans that have been made, namely from the introduction, core and closing activities. The learning process was implemented for three meetings to obtain learning outcomes. There are three domains of learning outcomes that become the teacher's reference, namely the realm of knowledge, the realm of attitudes & the realm of skills. The conclusion in the research on the implementation of the sociology CTL model based on the Google Classroom application in class XI IPS 1 SMA Negeri 8 Pontianak has been carried out in accordance with the learning implementation plan (RPP) by stating attitudes and skill assessments tested by the teacher to students to get good learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the reconciliation between democratic aspects and aspects of attachment and how relevant it is. The low emotional closeness between students causes students to become uncomfortable in socializing, fighting with each other, making friends in groups, and bullying. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The data was obtained in the low class, namely class III at SDN Bulusari 3 Kediri. Based on the results of the research that reconciliation of attachments between low grade students can arise through aspects of attachment, namely trust, communication, and alienation. While the democratic aspect is freedom of expression, group freedom, freedom to participate, equality between friends, trust, and cooperation. Then for the impact of the reconciliation of attachments that between students can give a good response to each other by restoring or increasing the relationship of attachment through democratic aspects in the learning process. For this reason, the reconciliation aspect with the democratic aspect is very relevant or interconnected if it is implemented in the learning process.
