Abstract

Background: good nutrition for mothers since pre-conception and conception is an important preparation for the health of the fetus and the child in the future.Objective: The purpose in writing this literature review is to explain argumentatively how nutrition from the time of conception can affect the child's biological health.Discussion: The results of the literature review show evidence that nutrition from the time of conception can affect the child's biological health. Several articles show a mechanism that explains the possible mechanisms of nutritional influence as conception on the child's biological health as in the future as Barker Hyphothesis or fetal programming. However, the data obtained to date is still not fully convincing. It is necessary to develop a long or longitudinal and experimental research that can guarantee the truth of the theory. Conclusion: the argument that nutrition from the time of conception is believed to affect the biological health of children in the future is increasingly stronger in the current literature although evidence of experimental research results still need to be accumulated to ensure the truth.ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: gizi yang baik bagi ibu sejak masa pra konsepsi dan konsepsi merupakan persiapan yang penting untuk kesehatan janin dan anak dimasa dating. Tujuan: tujuan dalam penulisan literature review ini adalah untuk menjelaskan secara argumentative bagaimana gizi sejak masa konsepsi dapat mempengaruhi kesehatan biologis anak. Pembahasan: hasil literature review menunjukkan bukti bahwa gizi sejak masa konsepsi dapat mempengaruhi kesehatan biologis anak. Beberapa artikel menunjukkan mekanisme yang menjelaskan kemungkinan mekanisme pengaruh gizi saat konsepsi terhadap kesehatan biologis anak dimasa datang seperti halnya Barker Hyphothesis atau fetal programming. Namun begitu, data yang diperoleh hingga saat ini masih belum meyakinkan sepenuhnya. Untuk itu perlu dikembangkan penelitian yang panjang atau longitudinal dan eksperimental yang dapat menggaransi kebenaran teori tersebut.Kesimpulan: argumentasi bahwa gizi sejak masa konsepsi diyakini berpengaruh terhadap kesehatan biologis anak dimasa depan semakin menguat dalam literature terkini walaupun bukti hasil penelitian eksperimental masih perlu banyak diakumulasikan untuk memastikan kebenarannya.

Abstract

Background: Food snacks might contain a hazard for consumption, because health problems can be caused by food snacks. Based on SIKer of BPOM showed that 29 incident of food poisoning found in January-March 2014. That incident caused by consuming 5 food snacks. Food snacks are the kind of food being sold in pavement, roadside, station, market, residential area and the site of its kind.Objective: This research was to know the description of food snack from the aspect of food safety in Pasar Besar Malang.Methods:This research was an observational research using descriptive analysis. Samples were taken using the non-probability sampling with the method of purposive sampling, by involving food hawkers at the Pasar Besar Malang. The number of samples consists of 20 vendors. The data collected by the method ofinterview, observation and laboratory test.Results: The results showed all vendors i.e. 20 people were freed from respiratory disease, 17 people (85%) did not wear aprons and headgear when selling, most of the traders 17 people (85%) did not smoking, all food vendor did not get used to scratch the body near the food and all the vendors have to wear gear in serving food, neat and clean clothes, and provide decent sweeties. All vendors did not get used to wash hands. The study found there are 17 vendors who serve food snack did not use a sealed container. Results of microbiologi test showed that the food did not find E.coli in categorizedfood samples. Most of the total samples of the food snack (84%) were categorized as safe food.Conclusion: The study concludes that the hygiene of food handler especially in wearing the apron and hand-washing habits needs to be improved. The way how food to be served needs to be improved, i.e. the necessity to use a sealed container for food snacks. Food safety of packaging snacks is quite good because it has met the minimum requirement as safe foods because not found of E. Coli microbiologic. Vendor should be suggested to wear aprons and must maintain the cleanliness of the hand at the time of selling to avoid contamination at food snacks.ABSTRAKLatar Belakang: Konsumsi makanan dapat berbahaya bagi kesehatan, karena makanan dapat menjadi sumber penularan maupun penyebab dari masalah kesehatan. Sentra Informasi Keracunan (SIKer) Nasional Badan POM (2014) menunjukkan bahwa kejadian keracunan akibat pangan pada bulan Januari-Maret 2014 terdapat 29 insiden. Sebanyak 5 insiden keracunan akibat mengkonsumsi pangan jajanan. Makanan jajanan merupakan makanan yang dijual di kios kaki lima, pinggiran jalan, di tempat umum, tempat pemukiman serta lokasi lain sejenis.Tujuan: Mengetahui gambaran makanan jajanan dari aspek keamanan makanan di Pasar Besar Kota Malang.Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif berupa observasi, wawancara dan uji laboratorium. Sampel diambil dengan metode purposive sampling, sebanyak 20 pedagang makanan jajanan di Pasar Besar Kota Malang.Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan semua pedagang yaitu 20 tidak membiasakan menggaruk badan dekat makanan dan semua pedagang telah memakai perlengkapan dalam menyajikan makanan, menggunakan pakaian yang bersih atau layak pakai, dan membawa alat pembersih keringat. Semua pedagang masih belum membiasakan cuci tangan. Terdapat 15 pedagang yang menyajikan jajanan tidak menggunakan wadah tertutup. Hasil uji mikrobiologi E. Coli, tidak ditemukan E. Coli pada semua sampel makanan yang diperiksa.Kesimpulan: hygiene dari penjual perlu diperbaiki, khususnya memakai celemek dan cuci tangan. Keamanan makanan jajanan sudah baik karena tidak ditemukan mikrobiologi bakteri E. Coli. Pedagang sebaiknya mengupayakan untuk selalu memakai celemek dan harus menjaga kebersihan tangan.

Abstract

Background: Hypertension is the silent disease which a person will not know if he has increased blood pressure. The incidence rate of hypertension is very high especially in the elderly population over 60 years. Hypertension management can be done in pharmacological ways such as medicines and can use natural ingredients in lowering blood pressure that is by utilizing the noni fruit.Objectives: This study aimed to analyze the effectiveness of Noni fruit tea in lowering elderly blood pressure with hypertensionMethod: This research was quasy experimental throug with Pretest-Postest Control Group Design design. Determination of research sample by using inclusion and exclusion criteria. The sample of the study was 34 respondents divided into two groups. Intervention of Noni fruit tea given as much as 5 gram for 30 days with frequency of giving 2 times a day in the morning and afternoon. Blood pressuremeasurement was performed at the beginning of the study and at the end of the study. Data were analysed using wilcoxon test and Mann Whitney test.Result: Mann Whitney test results showed that there was significant effect after the intervention of noni fruit tea in treatment group compared with control group with systolic blood pressure value (p =0.000171) and diastolic blood pressure (p = 0.000480) with α = 0.05Conclusions: Blood pressure in the treatment group after the intervention of noni fruit tea decreased blood pressure compared with the control group. It is Suggested of research, need to do periodic nutrition education and giving noni fruit tea as alternative medicine that effectively decrease hypertension, scheduled.ABSTRAKLatar Belakang : Hipertensi merupakan the silent disease dimana seseorang tidak akan mengetahui jika dirinya mengalami peningkatan tekanan darah. Angka insiden hipertensi sangat tinggi terutama pada populasi lanjut usia diatas 60 tahun. Penatalaksaan hipertensi dapat dilakukan dengan cara farmakologis seperti obat-obatan serta dapat menggunakan bahan alami dalam menurunkan tekanan darah yaitu dengan memanfaatkan buah mengkudu.Tujuan : Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis efektifitas teh buah mengkudu dalam menurunkan tekanan darah lansia dengan hipertensiMetode : Penelitian ini bersifat quasy eksperimental dengan desain Pretest-Postest Control Group Design. Penentuan sampel penelitian dengan menggunakan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 34 responden yang dibagi menjadi dua kelompok. Intervensi teh buah mengkudu diberikan sebanyak 5 gram selama 30 hari dengan frekuensi pemberian 2 kali sehari pada pagi dan sore hari. Pengukuran tekanan darah darah dilakukan pada awal penelitian dan di akhir penelitian. Analisis data penelitian menggunakan uji wilcoxon dan uji Mann Whitney.Hasil : Hasil uji Mann Whitney menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan sesudah intervensi teh buah mengkudu pada kelompok perlakuan dibandingkan kelompok kontrol dengan nilai tekanan darah sistolik (p=0.000171) dan tekanan darah diastolik (p=0,000480) dengan α=0.05Kesimpulan : Tekanan darah pada kelompok perlakuan susudah intervensi teh buah mengkudu mengalami penurunan tekanan darah dibandingkan dengan kelompok kontrol. Saran penelitian, perlu dilakukan pendidikan gizi secara berkala dan pemberian teh buah mengkudu sebagai obat alternatif yang efektif menurunkan hipertensi, secara terjadwal.

Abstract

Background: Food waste or plate waste becomes one of the simple indicators which are used in evaluating hospitals’ nutritional care. Leftover food or plate waste may happen due to two factors food presentations and its taste. Objectives: To analyze the relation between food taste and food temperature with plate waste of animal-based food among pediatric patients at Dr. Ramelan Surabaya Naval Hospital. Method: This research was conducted using cross sectional design with 34 child patients in class II and III inpatient rooms, as the respondents. The data collection was done by observing the food leftovers, medical records, and interviewing the respondents. The data regarding plate waste were taken using visual Comstock 6-point scale, and analyzed using chi square test.Results: This research showed that respondents who consider the taste of animal-based food as appropriate with its average waste during breakfast were 71.33%, while respondents who consider it as very appropriate were 37.8% (p=0.04). It also found that there was a significant difference between the average of animal-based food waste and the temperature of animal-based food during the night (p=0.03), in which 53% respondents rated it as appropriate and 38% as very appropriate.Conclusion: Food taste and food temperature were correlated to the plate waste of animal-based food among pediatric patients. ABSTRAKLatar Belakang: Sisa makanan merupakan salah satu indikator yang sederhana yang dapat digunakan untuk mengevaluasi keberhasilan pelayanan gizi rumah sakit. Faktor penampilan dan rasa makanan dapat mempengaruhi terjadinya sisa makanan.Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara rasa makanan dan suhu makanan dengan sisa makanan lauk hewani pada pasien anak di ruang rawat inap RUMKITAL Dr. Ramelan Surabaya. Metode: Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan disain cross sectional dengan responden 34 pasien rawat inap anak di kelas II dan III. Pengambilan data penelitian dilakukan dengan metode observasi sisa makanan, rekam medis dan wawancara kepada responden. Data tentang sisa makanan diperoleh dengan metode visual comstock skala 6 poin. Data diolah dengan menggunakan uji chi-square. Hasil: Penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil bahwa responden yang berpendapat bahwa rasa lauk hewani sesuai dengan rata-rata sisa lauk hewani saat pagi sebanyak 71,33%  dan responden yang berpendapat sangat sesuai dengan rata-rata sisa lauk hewani saat pagi sebanyak 37,8% (p=0,04). Hasil selanjutnya menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara rata-rata sisa lauk hewani dengan suhu lauk hewani saat malam hari (p=0,03) dengan responden yang menilai sesuai sebanyak 53% dan yang menilai sangat sesuai sebanyak 38%.Kesimpulan: Rasa makanan dan suhu makanan berhubungan dengan sisa makanan lauk hewani pada pasien anak.

Abstract

  Background: Stunting is a chronic nutritional problem in children cause growth retardation which caused by poor parenting and inadequate intake. Low intake of macro nutrient and micro nutrient can affect to stunting in toddler. Intake of iron and zinc affect the incidence of stunting because iron and zinc affect growth hormone. In addition, low iron intake can affect hemoglobin levels in the body Objectives: The purpose of this study was to analyze the differences of hemoglobin level, iron and zinc intake in stunting and non stunting toddler. Methods: The research was an observational analytic with cross sectional design. The sample of this study were 42 toddler12-24 months in Tambak Wedi Public Health Center, Kenjeran  Sub-district, Surabaya, 21 toddler each stunting and non stunting. The data were collected by measuring height, food recall 2x24 hours, and blood sampling for hemoglobin measurement with cyanmethemoglobin method. The data were analyzed using chi square test and fisher test. Results: The result of this study showed there was difference of hemoglobin level (p=0.009), iron intake (p=0.004), and zinc intake (p=0.000) Conclusion: Stunting toddler have a lower hemoglobin level, iron and zinc intake more than non stunting toddler. Mother of toddler should have to increase the variant food source iron and zinc to prevent stunting in the future. ABSTRAK Latar belakang: Stunting merupakan masalah gizi kronis pada anak-anak yang menyebabkan terganggunya pertumbuhan linear anak dan diakibatkan oleh pola asuh dan asupan yang rendah.Rendahnya asupan zat gizi makro maupun mikro dapat mempengaruhi kejadian stunting pada balita. Asupan zat besi dan zinc dapat mempengaruhi kejadian stunting karena zat besi dan zinc mempengaruhi hormon pertumbuhan. Selain itu, asupan zat besi yang rendah dapat mempengaruhi kadar hemoglobin dalam tubuh. Tujuan: Menganalisis perbedaan kadar hemoglobin dan asupan zat besi serta zinc dari makanan pada balita stunting dan non stunting.Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional analitik dengan desain cross sectional. Sampel terdiri dari 42 balita berusia 12-24 bulan di wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Tambak Wedi Kecamatan kenjeran Surabaya, balitastunting dannonstunting masing-masing sebesar 21 sampel.Pengumpulan data menggunakan pengukuran tinggi badan, food recall 2x24 jam, dan pengambilan sampel darah untuk pengukuran kadar hemoglobin menggunakan metode cyanmethemoglobin. Data dianalisis menggunakan chi square test dan fisher test.Hasil: Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat perbedaan kadar hemoglobin (p=0,009), asupan zat besi (p=0,004), dan zinc (p=0,000) pada anak stunting dan non stunting.Kesimpulan: Balita stunting memiliki kadar hemoglobin dan asupan zat besi dan zinc yang lebih rendah daripada balita non stunting. Ibu balita sebaiknya meningkatkan variasi asupan sumber zat besi dan zinc agar dapat mencegah terjadinya stunting di masa yang akan datang.

Abstract

Background: Central obesity cases in Indonesia gradually increase time to time. Central obesity is a situation when there is excess fat in abdomen. It can be triggered by over consumption of high calories food, less consumption of fiber, and lack of physical activities. Objective: This study aimed to analyze the differences of intake level and physical activity on women (20-54 years) with central and non central obesity. Methods: This study was an observational analytic comparative using cross sectional design, 58 women (29 women with central obesity and 29 women with non-central obesity) 20-54 years were selected using simple random sampling technique. Data were collected by measuring weight, height, abdominal circumference, 2x24 hours recall for intake level, and interview using the International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ). Results: the results showed that there was differences in intake level of energy (p=0.000), intake level of carbohydrate (p=0.001), intake level of protein (0.000), intake level of fat (p=0.000), and physical activity (0.041) between women with central obesity and non central. Meanwhile, there was no difference in intake level of fiber (p=0.076) between women with central and non central obesity. Conclusion: Women with central obesity had higher intake of energy, carbohydrate, protein, and fat compared to women with non central obesity. Meanwhile, fiber intake and physical activity were low in women with central obesity. So, women with central obesity were needed to improve energy, carbohydrate, protein, and fat intake as recommended in the AKG and increased physical activity at least three times a week to reduce abdominal fat.ABSTRAKLatar Belakang: Kejadian obesitas sentral di Indonesia terus mengalami peningkatan. Obesitas sentral merupakan kondisi kelebihan lemak pada daerah perut. Gaya hidup seperti mengonsumsi makanan tinggi lemak, rendahnya konsumsi serat, dan rendahnya aktivitas fisik dapat menyebabkan obesitas sentral.Tujuan: tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis perbedaan tingkat konsumsi dan aktivitas fisik pada wanita (20-54 tahun) obesitas sentral dan non sentral.Metode: penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan metode observasional analitik komparasi menggunakan desain penelitian cross sectional pada 58 wanita (29 obesitas sentral dan 29 obesitas non sentral) berusia 20-54 tahun dan dipilih menggunakan simple random sampling. Pengumpulan data terdiri dari pengukuran berat badan, pengukuran tinggi badan, pengukuran lingkar perut, recall 2x24 jam untuk mengetahui tingkat konsumsi, dan wawancara dengan kuesioner International Physical Activity Questionnaire (IPAQ).Hasil: penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan tingkat konsumsi energi (p=0,000), tingkat konsumsi karbohidrat (p=0,001), tingkat konsumsi protein (p=0,000), tingkat konsumsi lemak (p=0,000), dan aktivitas fisik (p=0,041) pada wanita obesitas sentral dan non sentral. Akan tetapi, tidak ada Xperbedaan tingkat konsumsi serat (p=0,076) pada wanita obesitas sentral dan non sentral. Kesimpulan: wanita obesitas sentral memiliki asupan energi, karbohidrat, protein, dan lemak yang lebih tinggi dibandingkan wanita obesitas non sentral. Namun, asupan serat dan aktivitas fisik masih rendah pada wanita obesitas sentral. Dengan demikian maka wanita obesitas sentral diharapkan dapat memperbaiki asupan energi, karbohidrat, protein, dan lemak sesuai anjuran pada AKG dan meningkatkan aktivitas fisik minimal tiga kali seminggu untuk mencegah penumpukan lemak dalam perut.

Abstract

 Background: PT. Aerofood Indonesia is an international flight catering company that specializes in Asian, Japanese, Korean, and Western cuisines, as well as pastry and bakery for airline passengers. PT. Aerofood Indonesia also offers special service to its diverse customers by providing special menu, such as moslem meal (MOML). To create MOML menu, there are several procedures that need to be fulfilled, i.e. ingredient and product delivery, storage, preparation production, portioning, packaging, and distribution. Food quality control is needed in each of the procedure to maintain the quality of the beverages. Good quality beverage will prevent physical, chemical, and biological contamination, thus averting the risk of customer health issues. Objectives: This study aimed to gain in-depth knowledge about food production process in in-flight catering, especially in special meal/moslem meal product from delivery, storage, preparation production, portioning, packaging, until the final distribution process to customer inside the airplane. Methods: This study used descriptive method with qualitative approach to achieve the objective. Results: The results showed that quality monitoring for MOML was applied for basic ingredients delivery, storage, preparation, production, portioning, meal tray setup and meal distribution into the airplane. Halal and non halal ingredients were separated by containers and equipments from hot kitchen through portioning area. Monitoring process in each of the production step was focused on critical control point established by PT. Aerofoof Indonesia.Conclusion: Monitoring on moslem meal have been done from food acceptance, storage,through cooking, processing, portioning, meal tray set up and distribution inside the plane.ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: PT. Aerofood Indonesia adalah perusahaan layanan katering penerbangan bertaraf internasional. Jenis makanan yang dibuat seperti Asian cuisine, Japanese/Korean cuisine, Western cuisine, pastry and bakery, dan lain-lain untuk para penumpang pesawat. PT. Aerofood Indonesia membuktikan perhatiannya kepada customer yang memiliki kebutuhan khusus dengan mengadakan menu special meal, salah satunya adalah menu khusus untuk muslim, yaitu Moslem Meal (MOML). Untuk memproduksi menu MOML, membutuhkan proses yang dimulai dari penerimaan bahan, penyimpanan, persiapan, pengolahan, portioning, pengemasan sampai dengan distribusi. Dalam setiap tahapan pengolahan makanan diperlukan monitoring kualitas pangan untuk menjaga kualitas produk makanan dan minuman. Kualitas makanan yang baik akan terhindar dari bahaya kontaminasi makanan baik secara fisik, kimia, dan biologi sehingga tidak menimbulkan gangguan kesehatan.  Tujuan: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui proses produksi penyelenggaraan makanan di inflight catering, khususnya pada produk special meal (moslem meal) dari penerimaan bahan, penyimpanan, persiapan, pengolahan, portioning, pengemasan hingga pendistribusian makanan ke dalam pesawat di PT. Aerofood Indonesia.Metode: Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif.Hasil: Hasil penelitian meliputi monitoring pada menu moslem meal dilakukan dari penerimaan bahan baku, penyimpanan, persiapan, pengolahan produk, portioning, meal tray set up hingga pendistribusian ke dalam pesawat. Dalam proses pengolahannya, produk halal dengan produk non halal dipisahkan tempat dan equipmentnya dari area hot kitchen hingga di-dishing. Monitoring disetiap area produksi difokuskan pada critical control point yang telah ditetapkan oleh PT. Aerofood Indonesia.Kesimpulan: Monitoring pada menu moslem meal dilakukan dari penerimaan bahan baku, penyimpanan bahan baku, persiapan bahan baku, pengolahan produk, portioning, meal tray set up hingga pendistribusian ke dalam pesawat.

Abstract

Background: The incidence of malnutrition in underfives is still high. The lack knowledge and attitude of mother about balance nutrient for child can affect the way child’s feeding. Though, the nutritional status of underfives is one of the indicators in health development in Indonesia.Objective: The aim of this study is to analyze the difference of knowledge and attitude on mother before and after health education with nutrition flipchart. This is to know how the effectiveness of helath education with flipchart on the prevention of underfives malnutrition.Methods: This was an observational study with analitical and cross-sectional design because the study was conducted over a period of time. Study population were 81 mother. The sample size was determined by Lemeshow formula and simple random sampling and 67 mother were obtained. Data were collected by measuring knowledge and attitude before and after health education.Results: Statistical result showed that p values (0.000) < α (0.05). The result showed that was level of knowledge and attitude increased. Good knowledge level increased from 16 people (23.9%) to 39 people (58.2%). Good attitude inreased from 14 people (20.9%) to 36 people (53.7%).Conclusion: There were difference on the result of mother’s knowledge and attitude before and after health education with nutrition flipchart.ABSTRAKLatar Belakang: Angka kejadian gizi kurang pada balita masih tinggi. Pengetahuan dan sikap ibu yang rendah mengenai penyedian menu seimbang untuk balita dapat berpengaruh terhadap pemberian makanan anak balita. Padahal status gizi balita merupakan salah satu indikator dalam pembangunan kesehatan di Indonesia.Tujuan: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis perbedaan pengetahuan dan sikap ibu balita sebelum dan sesudah penyuluhan kesehatan dengan media lembar balik gizi. Hal tersebut untuk melihat bagaimana efektivitas penyuluhan kesehatan dengan media lembar balik terhadap pencegahan balita gizi kurang.Metode: Penelitian ini bersifat observational dengan desain analitik dan cross-sectional karena penelitian dilakukan pada periode waktu tertentu. Populasi penelitian adalah sebanyak 81 ibu balita. Besar sampel ditentukan dengan rumus Lemeshow dan metode simple random sampling sehingga diperoleh 67 sampel. Data didapatkan melalui penilaian pengetahuan dan sikap sebelum dan sesudah penyuluhan kesehatan.Hasil: Hasil uji statistika menunjukkan nilai p value (0,000) > α (0,05). Hasil penilaian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan tingkat pengetahuan dan sikap ibu balita. Ibu dengan tingkat pendidikan baik meningkat dari 16 ibu (23,9%) naik menjadi 39 ibu (58,2%). Ibu dengan sikap baik meningkat dari 14 ibu (20,9%) menjadi 36 orang (53,7%).Kesimpulan: Terdapat perbedaan tingkat pengetahuan dan sikap ibu balita sebelum dan sesudah penyuluhan dengan media lembar balik gizi.

Abstract

 Background: Chronic Energy  Deficiency, and Anemia in pregnancy have become two the indirect and major causes of maternal and infant mortality cases in Indonesia. Objectives: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of age, gestational age, gravida on Chronic Energy Deficiency occurrence and anemia. Methods: . The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of age, gravida, and work status on Chronic Energy Deficiency occurrence and Anemia.Results: The results showed that unemployed mothers had a probability of 0.824 times for Chronic Energy Deficiency compared with working mothers, multigravidal mothers had a probability of 1.021 times for Chronic Energy Deficiency compared with primigravida mothers, and 3,200 times for Chronic Energy Deficiency compared with primigravida mothers. Pregnant women <20 years of age have an anemia risk of 2.250 times compared with age 20-35 years, and age> 35 years have anemia risk 5.885 times greater than the age of 20-35 years. Unhealthy mothers and mothers who have risk of Anemia 1.990 greater than pregnant women who work.Conclusion: The conclusion of this research is that there is influence of work status, primigravida to Chronic Energy Deficiency occurrence, and there is influence of age, working status, and gravida on occurrence Anemia in pregnant mother. Advice for pregnant women is to conduct counseling to health workers on a regular basis and meet the nutritional needs during pregnancy according to the advice of health workers to prevent the occurrence of Chronic Energy Deficiency and anemia during pregnancy.ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Proporsi ibu hamil dengan KEK di Indonesia berdasarkan Riset Kesehatan Dasar mengalami peningkatan yaitu pada tahun 2010 sebesar 33,5% meningkat menjadi 38,5% pada tahun 2013.  Tujuan: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh umur, gravida, dan status  bekerja  terhadap kejadian KEK dan Anemia pada ibu hamil.  Metode: Penelitian cross-sectional ini melibatkan 153 ibu hamil yang periksa selama bulan Januari-Desember 2014 sebagai sampel. Sampel ini dipilih secara acak dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Pengaruh antar variabel dianalisis menggunakan uji Logistic Regression (α = 0,05).  Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ibu yang tidak bekerja memiliki kemungkinan 0,824 kali untuk mengalami KEK dibandingkan dengan ibu yang bekerja, ibu multigravida memiliki kemungkinan 1,021 kali untuk mengalami KEK dibandingkan dengan ibu primigravida, dan 3,200 kali untuk mengalami KEK dibandingkan dengan ibu primigravida, . Ibu hamil yang berumur < 20 tahun memiliki resiko mengalami Anemia 2,250 kali dibandingkan dengan umur 20-35 tahun, dan usia > 35 tahun memiliki resiko mengalami Anemia 5,885 kali lebih besar dibandingkan dengan usia 20-35 tahun. Ibu yang tidak bekerja memiliki resiko mengalami Anemia 1,990 lebih besar dibandingkan dengan ibu hamil yang bekerja.Kesimpulan: Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat pengaruh status bekerja, primigravida terhadap kejadian KEK, dan terdapat pengaruh umur, status bekerja, dan gravida  terhadap kejadian Anemia pada ibu hamil. Saran untuk ibu hamil adalah untuk melakukan konseling kepada petugas kesehatan secara teratur dan memenuhi kebutuhan nutrisinya selama hamil sesuai saran petugas kesehatan untuk mencegah terjadinya KEK dan anemia pada masa kehamilan.
