Abstract

This research aims to develop multicultural-based LKPD on SBDP learning in grade V elementary schoo and aims to test the feasibility of multicultural-based LKPD that has been used by students of grade V SDIT Raudhaturrahmah Pekanbaru in March 2021. This type of research is research development R&D (Research and Development) using a 4D model consisting of 4 stages namely Define, Design, Development and Disseminate. Validation results from experts obtained an overall average at draft 1 of 81.37 with a valid category. The average overall validator rating score in draft 2 is 96.55 with a very valid category. The average assessment score of the overall teacher response questionnaire is 92.5 with a very decent category. Meanwhile, the average assessment score of the overall response of students was 94.78 with a very good category. Based on the data, multicultural-based LKPD is very feasible to be used in SBDP learning in grade V elementary school.

Abstract

This article seeks to address ethno science employed in the teaching of elementary school. Ethno science is a strategy which creates learning environment and designs learning experience by integrating culture into the learning process at elementary school. Ethnoscience shows authentic instructional materials, classrooms, learning environment, learning method as well as culture-based approach. Learning process would be effective when ethnoscience is integrated in learning topics. Those are, for instance, concerned with rituals, traditional house, traditional medicines and other cultural knowledge relevant to ethnoscience learning. It can be applied through student-centered learning model by such methods as problem based learning, project based learning, discovery, inquiry and process skill. Ethnoscience learning can explore the students’ declarative and constructivist- procedural based knowledge.

Abstract

The ability to solve story problems is a skill in solving, answering, and working on questions in accordance with the learning objectives and the intent of the questions. The existence of learning mathematics can improve students' ability to count. One of them is solving story problems. This study aims to describe the ability of grade IV students of SD Negeri 9 Bukit Batu in solving math story problems. The ability to solve story problems is seen from the indicators in solving math story problems, while the indicators are: 1) Ability to write down known aspects, 2) Ability to write down aspects in question, 3) Ability to solve mathematical models, 4) Ability to draw conclusions. The type of research that the researcher will use is descriptive quantitative. Data collection techniques using test techniques, namely in the form of student test results which are then analyzed according to predetermined indicators. Based on the results of the data analysis that has been done, it can be seen from the four indicators that the average value is 63.08. This shows that the ability of grade IV SDN 9 Bukit Batu students is in the sufficient category

Abstract

Mathematical communication in elementary schools is very low. To overcome these problems an effective approach is needed. This research of communication aims at mahtematics to improve the ability to use a realistic mathematical education approach (PMR)in the material of angular measurement in grade IV SD Kartika Kota Padang. This research is a classroom actin research that uses a qualitative and quantitative approach. Conductedin two cycles, with three meetings covering four stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and refelction. The subjects were teacher and students of class IV SD Kartika 1-11 Kota Padang numbered 20 people. The results showed that there was an increase in the average mathematical communication sklills of students in the first cycle of 74,2 to 88,3 in the second cycle using a realistic mathematics education approach.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the success of students in integrated thematic learning using the take and give a cooperative model in grade IV SD Negeri 15 Ulu Gadut. This type of research is classroom action research. Using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The research subjects were classroom teachers as observers, researchers as practitioners, and 25 students of SD Negeri 15 Ulu Gadut. The conclusions of this study are: 1) the assessment of the percentage of the RPP got a previous increase 0f 80.55% in the first cycle and an increase of 94.44% in the second cycle. 2) teacher aspect increased 76.78% in cycle I increased 92.85% in cycle II. 3) aspect of students experienced an increase of 76.78% in the first cycle and an increase 0f 92.85% in the second cycle. 4) the conclusion of student learning has increased in the first cycle the percentage completeness is 64% to.89,12% in the second cycle.

Abstract

The development of the times demands that humans be more progressive, thus students are required to find information independently from the results of their interactions with the learning environment. Learning media are used to streamline messages so that a learning environment is created conducive. In fact, the use of learning media is still conventional, does not vary, and the use of digital media is still very minimal. This type of research is research and development using the 4D model. However, the steps taken are only define, design, and development. The resulting product declared very valid with the average feasibility of learning media is 95%, with details of the feasibility of material 93.3%, media 96.7%, and language 95%. The results of teacher and student responses were stated to be very practical, namely 92.5% and 95.25%. Thus, learning media based on the Kinemaster application in integrated thematic learning in class III SD Negeri 36 Koto Panjang are declared very valid and very practical.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to improve students' integrated thematic learning outcomes by using the cooperative group investigation type model. Integrated thematic learning is learning that uses themes as the main focus. This research method, using classroom action research methods. The research procedure is in the form of a cycle. Each cycle consists of four stages including: planning, implementing actions, observing, and reflecting. Data collecting techniques through observation and tests. This data collection uses an instrument in the form of student and teacher observation observation sheets in the learning process, while to determine the quality of student learning outcomes, evaluation / test sheets are used. The results showed that the use of the investigational group type cooperative model could improve students' integrated thematic learning outcomes. From the average value in the first cycle, 76,6% to 87,5% in the second cycle.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the produce interactive multimedia based on Macromedia Flash 8 in grade IV elementary school that meet valid dan practical criteria. This type of research is development research The development research model used is the ADDIE development model which has five-stage namely Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and evaluation. Data collection using research instruments including validation sheets (material expert, linguist, and media/graphics expert) and practice sheets (questionnaire responses from teacher and student). The result of the development of interactive multimedia through the validation stages of the material aspect obtained a value of 92%. In the language aspect, it scores 90% and the media/graphic aspect gets a score of 92%. While from the questionnaire student and teachers both obtained average scores of 86%. Based on these results it can be concluded that interactive multimedia in class IV learning based on Macromedia Flash 8 is very valid and very practical to use as a support for learning.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pelaksanaan pembelajaran jarak jauh di masa pandemi Covid-19 bagi pendidik dan peserta didik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat bagaimana pelaksanaan pendidikan jarak jauh di masa pandemi Covid-19 bagi pendidik dan peserta didik. Penelitian ini menekankan pada sumber informasi pada hambatan, kekurangan, kelebihan, dan solusi pelaksanaan pembelajaran jarak jauh. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kepustakaan dengan kajian teoritis, referensi, serta literatur ilmiah lainnya yang berkaitan dengan budaya, nilai dan norma yang berkembang pada situasi sosial yang diteliti. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan, bahwa akses jaringan internet, fasilitas sarana dan prasarana, kesiapan pendidik, peserta didik, dan orang tua menjadi kendala dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran jarak jauh. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan, bahwa kelancaran pelaksanaan pendidikan jarak jauh sangat bergantung pada aspek kesiapan segala pihak dalam menyelenggarakan pembelajaran di masa pandemi Covid-19.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Project Based Learning model on the learning outcomes of data presentation in Elementary School Cluster II District Guguak District 50 City. The type of this research is quantitative research with the experimental method and the design of Quasi Exsperiment, with the form of Nonequivalent pretest-posttest control group design. The sample technique used was cluster random sampling with a sample consisting of two classes. The results showed that the average value of the Experimental Post-test class using the Project Based Learning model was 77, 6 and the control class using conventional learning was 65.6. This shows that learning outcomes with the Project Based Learning model are influential compared to conventional learning. Analysis of the data of the two groups using the t test, obtained results of tcount 4.61 and ttable at a significant level of 0.05 of 2.010 so that tcount> t table. So Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted.
