Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze efforts to teach social interaction interactions to autistic children in inclusive elementary schools. The research method used is narrative inquiry. Research subjects are children with autistic barriers in inclusive primary schools. Subjects have difficulty controlling behavior, tend not to pay attention to their interlocutor when interacting, and display repetitive behavior, moving their fingers, shouting, laughing for no apparent reason, and tantrums. Assessment of the social interaction ability of children with autistic barriers can be seen from eye contact, facial expressions, repetitive or odd movements that are less focused, lack of ability to play with friends, and emotional states such as crying or sudden anger. The form of interaction of autistic children in inclusive elementary schools leads to a form of cooperation. Subjects often work on assignments with their study groups, even though the subjects have not been able to express ideas but the subjects can help if their group friends need help. The teacher's teaching strategy in social interaction is to encourage and motivate subjects to interact with their peers. Teachers and parents work together to provide some therapy to help the subject when facing problems. The task of the assistant teacher is to help the subject complete the task according to his ability. The way to teach language and communication to the subject is by always communicating with the subject on various occasions and if speaking, it must be spoken slowly.

Abstract

Student potential is the capacity or ability and characteristics/nature of individuals related to human resources that have the possibility to be developed and or support the development of other potentials contained in students. In the process of implementing learning today, many teachers have not implemented differentiation learning so many students have not developed their potential. The purpose of this study was to determine the learning of differentiation can increase the potential of students in elementary schools. The method used in this study is that literature review is research that examines or critically reviews the knowledge, ideas, or findings contained in the academic-oriented literature, as well as formulating theoretical and methodological contributions to certain topics. The results showed that differentiation is to provide opportunities for students to show what students understand. Also, in this way the teacher can find out what method should be given to students whose grasping power is lacking, sufficient and good. By understanding the potential of students, teachers can give an accurate picture of their strengths and weaknesses, the strengths and weaknesses of students, and can identify potentials that need to be improved and weaknesses that need to be minimized. With differentiation learning, it guides students in increasing the potential that exists within themselves. The conclusion of the teacher must be able to guide students to be able to develop according to their characteristics, and the potential possessed by these students, this is closely related to differentiated learning. One of the values and roles of teachers is to create learning that favors students, namely learning that liberates students' thinking and potential. Differentiation can be implemented in the content, process, and product of learning.

Abstract

In an effort to improve student achievement outcomes optimally, teachers must be able to identify students' abilities to absorb and understand the knowledge they convey. The Teacher Reflection process is very useful for improving the quality of learning carried out by teachers in the classroom, especially as a solution to improve the understanding of problematic students. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of effectiveness and efficiency of various components of the teacher's learning. This research methodology uses a Research and Development (R D) approach, namely by building a Pedagogic Assessment System (SIMPEGO) so that it can integrate student achievements before and after teacher reflection. The form of action taken is to plan supervisory actions through self-reflection of the teacher independently and followed by the utilization of the results of the knowledge and skills assessment. The research stages consist of 3 cycles, namely: (1) planning, action, observation, and reflection; (2) assignments, discussions, directions, and mentoring; (3) guidance and training. The results showed that overall students who did not complete or had problems in the basic competencies of a subject experienced an increase in learning outcomes after these students received remedial improvement and enrichment programs by the teacher. This study prove that the teacher's self-reflection activities are very effective in increasing the use of follow-up on the results of the Simpego application-based knowledge and skill assessment.
