Abstract

This study discusses about design of the self-learning mobile learning basic programming based on Android. Designed mobile learning material contains an abstract discussion of programming that is not visible invisible. This material was translated by concrete and to be more easily understood by students. The method used in the design of self-learning mobile learning is SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) waterfall, and use the process of UML (unified modeling language) with the use case diagram and flowchart. The results of this study indicate that the self-learning mobile learning basic programming is easy to use for students and teachers as instruction learning.

Abstract

Higher order thinking skills (HOTS) are abilities that should be possessed by all vocational high School (VHS) students, because VHS graduates are required to have good soft skills and hard skills. The reality that occurs the ability of HOTS possessed by students is still very low, it is proven based on the exposure of several researchers strengthened by conducting observations and observations in VHS. Therefore the research aims to determine student learning activities when taught using blended learning Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) and jigsaw, using direct learning models, and their effects on HOTS. This research is a quantitative study with a quasi experimental nonequivalent control group design method with research subjects of 50 students using simple random sampling. Data collection techniques using the test instrument in the form of multiple choice and description and non-test instruments in the form of observation sheets. Research data were analyzed by independent sample t-test. The results showed that the use of STAD and jigsaw blended learning in learning made students more active and enthusiastic in participating in learning activities, direct learning models made students less active and lacked enthusiasm in the learning process, and STAD and jigsaw blended learning significantly affected compared to learning models directly to HOTS.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the results of the needs analysis for the development of online marketing e-booklet learning media in entrepreneurship subjects. In this research, the needs analysis refers to: (1) The great opportunity to become an entrepreneur in the Food & Beverage (F&B) Study Program because of the presence of online sales application technologies such as Gofood, Grabfood, and the Open PO sales system; (2) The problem of theoretical learning entrepreneurship; (3) Media needed in online marketing practices. This research uses survey, observation, interview and literature study methods in collecting data. The results of a survey conducted on alumni of SMK Tata Catering, namely 96% stated that attractive product images could attract consumers; 94% agree that making attractive drawings is part of entrepreneurship lessons. The results of the book literature study used marketing material is theoretical. The results of observations on students of class XI Catering and interviewing entrepreneurship teachers at SMK 1 Tambun Selatan found that: 1) Teachers still teach Offline marketing methods; 2) There is no interactive learning media to make online advertising on product marketing in entrepreneurship subjects. The results of this study concluded that students need interactive learning media in learning activities. Thus, this research is used in developing online advertising marketing e-booklet media on entrepreneurial subjects

Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the influence of internship as a form of the WBL model to LIS students, in terms of the assessment theory of work-based learning and framework of 21st-century skills. The method used is descriptive quantitative, with respondents students who have done internships. The results showed that there are significant WBL (X) on critical thinking and problem-solving skills (Y1), indicated by the results of the significance value 0.000 <0.050 probability and the value of t, the obtained value of tcount 6.177 > ttable 2.024. Next, there is the influence of WBL (X) on communication skills (Y2), seen from the significance value of 0.000 <0.050 probability. Then, for a value of t, obtained the value of tcount 5,039> ttable 2,024. There is the influence of WBL (X) on collaboration skills (Y3), seen at a significance value of 0.000 <0.050 probability. Then, for a value of t, the obtained value of tcount 5,405 > ttable 2,024. There is no significant and positive relationship between the implementation of WBL and students' Creativity and Innovation skills (Y4). This can be seen when the linearity test is carried out. The implementation of an internship can contribute to the development of skills covered in LIS, except for creativity and innovation skills.

Abstract

Nowadays a letter can easily be falsified and used for things that are not appropriate. Budi Luhur University has a work unit that serves student requests for certificate of active students and certificate of graduation. Students need that certificate for apply a job or get a scholarship. To prevent the falsification of letters, a system using PHP programming language and MariaDB database was used to verify the letters. The certificate released by this system will be equipped with a QR Code containing the URL with parameters that have been encrypted with the cryptographic method AES-192. If accessed, this URL will display the data number, name, letter number and date of the letter. The recipient letter can verify the authenticity of the letter by comparing the data in the letter with the data in the system. If the two data are the same, the letter is the original. Based on test results, this system can be used to guarantee the authenticity of a letter.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether the guidance of further study information services affects the higher education interest of students of SMKN 2 Mataram. This study uses a quantitative research approach with the Pre-Experimental Design method in the form of One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The variables of this research are the interest in entering higher education and the independent variable of further study information service guidance. The study population was SMKN 2 Mataram, while the sample was students of class XI who attended further study information service guidance, namely 36 (thirty) students, who were determined by incidental sampling technique. Based on the results of data analysis with SPSS 17.0 for windows software with the Paired Sampe t Test procedure, the results show that t is greater than t table, t (count) (3.986)> t (table) (1.690). So the hypothesis of this research: there is an effect of further study information services on student interest in learning at SMKN 2 Mataram is accepted. The results of this study prove that information services for further studies have an effect on student interest in entering higher education. Therefore, it can be used as input and material for consideration for Guidance and Counseling Teachers in order to increase their role in directing vocational students who intend to continue to a higher level of education after completing their studies.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether distance learning is effective to implement. This study compares the blended model of distance learning with traditional learning. What is being compared is student learning outcomes and their perceptions in these two lessons. This research is a quantitative study using a quasi-experimental research design with a time-series model. The population of this research is all 4th-semester students who take Digital Electronics courses. Data collection was carried out in two ways, namely by using several tests for data on learning outcomes and questionnaires for student perception data. Data analysis was made using the t-test for paired samples. The results of the analysis obtained that there are differences in the two samples tested mean and the distance learning blended model has a higher average than traditional learning. This shows that the blended model of distance learning is more effective than traditional learning.
