Abstract

In carrying out their duties, teachers and education staff must have Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) behavior. With the behavior of teachers and OCB education personnel, they will display behavior that exceeds the basic tasks assigned to them. This article uses the library study method. Data analysis using descriptive techniques. From the research results it is known that OCB behavior from teachers and education staff will make the school realize its vision well. Some of the factors that influence OCB teacher behavior are appreciation, job satisfaction, motivation, commitment and loyalty. Therefore the principal and the education office must pay attention to these factors so that the behavior of the teacher's OCB can always be improved.

Abstract

This study attempts to describe supervision competence and managerial competence of the heads schools, to describe educational quality of Islamic Junior High Schools (MTS), and then to analyze the influence of the supervision competence and managerial competence toward educational quality of MTS both partially and simultaneously in Gantarang District, Bulukumba Regency. This study is ex-post facto. The population is all the teachers of all private MTS with accredited A. It is analyzed all the teachers as the sample with 54 people of all. Method of data collection is through questionnaires about supervision competence, also using data analysis, and multiple regressions. The results of the study obtained that the supervision competence and the managerial competence of the head is in the medium category. The supervision competence of the head schools significantly influences the quality of education. The managerial competence of the head schools significantly influences the quality of education. Both supervision competence and managerial competence of the heads of schools have the significantly influencer toward educational quality of MTS, in Gantarang district, Bulukumba Regency.

Abstract

Education is the most important investment for every nation especially for the developing nation, which actively builds its country. Development can only be done by human beings prepared through education, in order to reach the most perfect man as the caliph above earth. The development of education or teaching is inseparable and the responsibility of an educator, how the educator is transforming the knowledge possessed by the existing teaching materials, and by paying attention to the method of teaching that is easily accepted by the learners so that the goal is achieved in accordance with what is expected. Objectives to be achieved then the educator must malakukan an activity called the evaluation of education. Evaluation is part and process of learning which in whole can not be separated from teaching activity, conducting evaluation which is done in education activity has a very main meaning, because evaluation is a measuring tool or process to know level of achievement that have been achieved by student of material or material has been submitted, so that with the evaluation of the objectives of the learning will be seen accurately and convincingly. Evaluation as part of a learning program needs to be optimized, as it not only relies on assessments of learning outcomes, but also needs assessment of inputs, processes, and outputs. One of the important factors for the effectiveness of learning is the evaluation factor both on the learning process and on the learning outcomes. Evaluation is a systematic collection activity of the learning process to determine whether changes occur to students and to what extent these changes affect the life of the students.

Abstract

Abstract: This type of reserch is qualitative. In this study, researchers took the population of Aliyah Madrassah Assalam Timbuseng teachers, which totaled 6 people with a sample of 23 teachers. The results showed that personality competencies, teachers at MA AS-Salam, there are some teachers who meet the criteria that are indicators of personality competency, but there are also some teachers who still lack personality competency. To teachers who have very comptent personalities, students will be very respectful and even feel reluctant to the teacher concerned. In contrast to teachers whose personality competencies are still lacking students will tend to show less respect. The teacher in building personal relationship with students through many ways both in the classroom when the teaching and learning process takes place and outside the classroom. The Madrasah facilitates teachers to take part in activities related to competency enhacement, including by attending teacher upgrading, attending MGBS, and taking courses.

Abstract

The main problem in this research is how the description of student achievement in the Department of Physics Education in relation to the specialization of choice in the process of admission of new students. From the results of research shows that the picture of Physics Education student achievement that chose the Department of Physics Education as the first choice, is generally categorized as Cum Laude and Very Satisfactory or can be said good. Picture of student achievement of Physics Education Education who did not choose Education Department as first choice, from research data also good or in category Cum Laude and Very Satisfactory.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of the study is to examine whether there is an influence of reading interest and the role of supervisors partially or simultaneously on the success of writing the final assignment. The research was conducted at AMIK Tunas Bangsa Pematangsiantar by taking a sample of 78 people from 369 population populations using calculations using Slovin formula. The method used is the survey method and data collection carried out through observation, interviews, and distributing questionnaires using a Likert scale as a measuring device. The sampling technique using purposive sampling is a sampling technique of data sources with certain considerations, the analytical technique used is multiple lenier analysis techniques. In analyzing the data used several descriptive analysis techniques to determine the distribution of respondents' answers to the overall concept being measured, quantitative analysis using numbers and calculations with statistical methods. The results of the analysis show that partial reading interest has a positive and significant effect on the success of the final assignment, tcount> t table (3.167> 1.991), the role of partial supervisor is positive and significant effect on the success of the final assignment, tcount> t table (2.915> 1.991), reading interest and the role of supervisors simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the success of the final assignment where the value of Fcount> Ftable is (20,094> 3,12).

Abstract

The main problem facing education today is the quality of human resources are low and not sanggupnya follow the progress of science and technology in the era of globalization, where competition quality menajdi something very urgent met by the school, then you need to do is improve the quality of human resources, both from the aspect of intellectual, spiritual, creativity, morality, and responsibility. This study aims to determines how the principal strategy in improving the competence of teachers in terms of pedagogical, professional, personal and social. This study uses qualitative descriptive approach. It can be concluded that the principal strategy in improving the competence of teachers through empowerment by education supervisors.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the academic administration system at IAIN Samarinda. This research is a qualitative research with a descriptive approach. The data collection techniques used were interviews, document study and observation. The data obtained were then analyzed qualitatively by referring to standard theories and concepts. The results of the data analysis are then compiled so that a general conclusion of the study can be obtained. The results of the research on the implementation of the academic administration system at IAIN Samarinda show: (1) Planning has not been carried out thoroughly, it can be seen from the incomplete guidelines for the academic administration system, so that at the implementation stage there are many inconsistencies; (2) Inter-unit coordination has not been implemented in an integrated manner so that many students experience confusion and uncertainty in information; (3) There is still overlap in the implementation of the academic administration system by task stakeholders, even though it is not the main task and function; (4) Monitoring and evaluation has not been carried out programmatically. The main obstacles in implementing the academic administration system at IAIN Samarinda are managerial, the academic administration system that is not yet integrated, and commitment to provide the best service to students.

Abstract

Kurikulum pendidikan merupakan suata alat dan unsur pokok dalam satu sistem penddikan, yang dapat membawa kepada tercapainya tujuan-tujuan pendidikan yang diharapkan. Kurikulum mengandung sejumlah mata-mata pelajaran yang diharapkan dapat dikuasai pesrta didik dan mencakup seluruh pengalaman belajar. Pelaksanaan kurikulum pendidikan di sekolah banyak faktor yang dapat mempengaruhinya. Salah satunya adalah keberadaan komite sekolah yang beranggotakan dari masyarakat dan dewan guru. Komite sekolah dapat memberikan pertimbangan, pendukung, pengontrol dan penghubung terlaksananya kurikulum pendidikan di sekolah untuk mencapai tujuan-tujuan pendidikan yang diharapkan.
