Abstract

Abstract. PT. MsPS is one of the companies engaged in the field of andesite mining located in Kampung Lubuk Rasan, District IV Jurai, Pesisir Selatan District, West Sumatra Province. Initial slope geometry has an overall slope height of 30 m with a slope of 50 and a single slope with a height of 10 m with a slope of 63. Clay data: Unit Weight (γ) = 15.97 kN / m3, Cohesion (c ') = 42.01 kN / m2 and inner shear angle (ϕ') = 40.36 °. Whereas with the method FK can obtain overall slope slope FK in saturated conditions of 0.573 and single slope in can FK slope in saturated conditions of 1,092.. Then the slope geometry was changed with a height of 30 meters with an overall slope of 31 and a single slope with a height of 7.5 m with an angle of 40 .Overall slope FK is obtained with an overall slope of 1,283 and single slope the 2,719 FK is obtained. By using the janbu method, the overall slope FK is obtained in the saturation condition of 1.095 and in a single slope the 2,575 slope after changing the geometry the slope using bishop method, the slope is safe.Keywords: initial geometry, simplified bishop, simplified janbu, safety factor.

Abstract

Abstract. PT. ANTAM Tbk. UBPB Tayan, West Kalimantan undertake mining activities at Bukit 7B area by doing two activities in the process of transporting material to washing plant area. In this area ore which mined from front area will be transported to stockyard ETO (Exportable Transit Ore), then from a stockyard ETO ore is transported to the washing plant area. But due to the buildup of material in stockyrad ETO area, the company does the initiative by conducting a direct feeding (ore mined from front area will be transported directly to the washing plant area without doing stock in stockyard ETO area). Based on field observations, production target at Bukit 7B area PT. ANTAM Tbk. UBPB Tayan still has not achieved, from the results of the calculation obtained the actual production of work Activity 1 is 305,554.15 tons/month, while in work activity 2 of 190,004.75 tons/month. The operational cost used by the company in work Activity 1 is Rp. 195.167, 92X, while the operational cost of work activity 2 is Rp. 167.142, 22X. When the North West Corner Rule Transportation method is used, the minimum operational cost that the company can use is Rp. 184.420,83X. In other words, the North West corner rule method on this research proved to be very influential and helpful in the efficient or minimising costs.Keywords: Bauxite, Productivity, Excavator, Dump Truck, and North West Corner Rule Method

Abstract

Abstract. In 2018 the slope in the exisiting front II area will experience rocky weathering where the landslide that has been identified is in the form of an avalanche. The method used in this research is the bishop method and the hoek & bray method. As a result of the study, the following conclusions are made. First Results FK values are based on parameter values of physical-mechanical properties with slope geometry. With a safety factor value in dry conditions of 1.947, in the half-saturated condition of 1.793 and in the saturation condition of 1,514 . second landslides that occurred were bow avalanches. The three results of the analysis behind the landslide are cohesion value of 124 kN / m2 and shear angle in 24 °. Third during dry conditions with fk by using methods bishop 1.471 single slope and fk overall slope 1,339 by using Hoek and Bray 2,34. with saturated conditions fk value using the bishop 1.416  single slope and fk overall slope 1,337 and the hoek and bray method 2,34. in a half-saturated condition fk value using the bishop method fk value 1,391 single slope and fk overall slope 1,398  and by using the hoek and bray method fk value 2,34.

Abstract

Abstract. Calculation of resources plays an important role in determining the amount of reserves and determining the amount, quality and ease of commercial exploration of a sediment. Because the results of resource calculations can be continued on a good calculation of reserves later to be able to determine the investment that will be planted by investors, how to mine even in estimating the time needed by the company in carrying out its mining business. The purpose of this study is to determine the amount of andesite indicated by the method of cross section and contour in Nagari Tambang Pesisir Selatan / West Sumatra. Data processing is done with the help of mine software in making contours, incisions and calculations. Determination of research boundaries is based on the presence of outermost outcrops.The results of the research have been carried out with the cross section method, which is making incision lines that cut the overburden, then calculating the area of each incision and finally the volume can be determined using the inter-incision distance and 9,079,700 tons and the contour method namely using each contour to calculate the area and volume of each contour interval, the andesite indicated amounted to 8,435,602.5 tons with a total OB volume of 43,650 m³.Keywords: Resources, Andesite, quality, cross section, contour

Abstract

Abstract. The coal mining business is currently faced with various challenges such as export spendingpolicies, increasing product value added, and decreasing product market prices. In order to be able tocompete, mining companies are required to increase productivity and increase and enhance sustainableproduction processes. In the mining process, the draw of dump truck equipment and loading equipmentwill determine the continuity of production which increases productivity and efficiency. The purpose of thisstudy is to optimize production in coal mining in order to efficiently use equipment by using linearprogramming methods. The location of the study was conducted in the PT Surya Global Makmur JobsitePemusiran mining concession area, Sarolangun Regency, Jambi Province in October 2019. The loadingequipment used was five units of backhoe excavators and 22 units of dump trucks. The results of thesimulation with linear programming methods are 20 units of conveyance. The results of productionoptimization with the linear programming method produce overburden productivity of 681.16 BCM perhour with an optimal cost of 0.86 USD / BCM.Keywords: Coal Mining, Overburden, Linear Programming, Production Optimize, and Optimal Cost

Abstract

Abstract. PT. Semen Padang is one of the companies engaged in mining, especially limestone, silica, clay and iron. Which mining is located in Batu Karang Putih Bukit Ngalau, Indarung Village, Kuranji District, Padang City, West Sumatra Province. With the opening of mining in the pit limit area with limestone reserves and the many production demands, mining is carried out in the pit limit area. Based on the description above, it is necessary to estimate the number of loading and hauling tools to be used and an estimate of the total operational costs to be incurred in limestone mining for the pit limit area at PT. Semen Padang.The calculation of the results of the need for the equipment obtained using the same tool is using a Komatsu PC 1250 Excavator digging tool and HD 785-7 type Dump Truck. The results in 2019 from September to December were 1 unit of Exca and 2 units of Dump Truck, in 2020 there were 1 unit of excavator and 3 units of dump truck, in 2021 there were 1 exca and 3 units of dump truck. And in 2022 there will be 1 excavator and 2 dump trucks. For operational costs per year on the komatsu PC 1250 excavator unit digging equipment amounting to Rp.1,484,457,648 / Year and operational costs for loading unit HD 785-7 units Rp. 8,627,409,264/years.Keywords: limestone, operating cost, Excavator, Dump Truck, Produksi

Abstract

Abstract. PT Kideco Jaya Agung is a company engaged in coal mining business located in Paser Regency, East Kalimantan Province. The mining system is carried out using an open pit mining system. The RTS-C pit has a crack in the high wall area of the west side of section A at an elevation of 100 m /L, on the crest overall slope of section B there is a pond with a distance of 200 meters. Slope stability analysis is performed using the limit equilibrium method (bishop simplified method) and monte carlo probabilistic analysis. The results of the actual topographical analysis of Section A obtained values of SF 1.661 and PF 0.000%, the results of analysis in design of 2019 were SF 0.995 and PF 54.100%. The results of the actual topographical analysis of Section B obtained values of SF 1.351 and PF 0.000%, the results of analysis in design of 2019 were SF 0.926 and PF 92.100%. The values of material properties in the back analysis were c and ∅ are at 60% of the original condition (peak), mudstone material values of c = 79.2 kPa and ∅ = 16.11° for sandstone material values of c = 87.6 kPa and ∅ = 17.37 °.Keywords: Back analysis, slope stability, crack, bishop, monte carlo

Abstract

Abstrak: Usaha mikro kecil dan menengah memiliki peran strategis dalam pemberian pendapatan nasional dan pengurangan angka pengangguran serta kemiskinan sesuai dengan UU nomor 20 tahun 2008. Seiring dengan itu pemerintah daerah Sumatera Barat mendorong industri batukapur tumbuh dan berkembang di Sumatera Barat, salah satumya adalah UKM batukapur Bukit Tui yang berlokasi di Kelurahan Koto Panjang, Kecamatan Padang Panjang Timur, Kota Padang Panjang, Provinsi Sumatera Barat yang menjadi mitra dalam PPPUD ini. Sebagai unggulan daerah UKM batukapur harus didorang untuk dapat berkembang dan maju. Permasalahan mitra adalah 1, aspek teknis yaitu bagaimana meningkatkan kuantitas dan kualitas produksi, solusinya adalah a. Teknis pemilihan bahan baku, b. Tenaga mendisain produk yang multi varian,  c. Penataan stok bahan baku dan managemen stockpile, d. Penataan tungku pembakaran. e. Penyediaan alat cetak produksi, f. Penyediaan rak produksi, g. Abstract

Abstract. PT. ANTAM Tbk. UBPB Tayan, West Kalimantan conducts exploration and exploitation of metal minerals in the Tayan Hilir, West Kalimantan. PT. ANTAM Tbk. UBPB Tayan is a bauxite mining which is one of the operational activities originating from the washing crude bauxite (CBx) from mining activities to produce wash bauxite (WBx) by doing two activities in the process of transporting material to washing plant area. PT. ANTAM Tbk. UBPB Tayan undertake mining activities at front of Bukit 7B with a production target of 3.175.000 wmt in the production target WBx the planned CBx mining production is 6,487,242 wmt in 2019. Based on field observations, the production target in Bukit 7B area PT. ANTAM Tbk. UBPB Tayan has still not been reached, and the actual fleet used today is inadequate to achieve the next month's production target. Efforts to produce not achieving production targets by planning using the Monte carlo method with a time cycle approach. Related to production targets and the number of tools that will be used by the company in fleet planning, work composition, effectiveness, and compatibility of the tools in the two work plans are able to minimize the achievement of production targets. Abstract

Abstract. Overburden removal production at PT. Bukit Makmur Mandiri Utama jobsite                PT. Kideco Jaya Agung uses large excavators that is Caterpillar 6020B and Komatsu PC2000. The average actual productivity at 07:00 - 08:00 a.m. on February 2019 at Pit AB RTS (Roto South) for one Caterpillar 6020B is 777 bcm/hour has not reached the target of 793 bcm/hour and five Komatsu PC2000 is 647 bcm/hour has not reached the target of 662 bcm/hour. Failure to achieve productivity targets due to obstacles after delay shift change. The excavators studied were Komatsu PC2000-07, PC2000-21, and PC2000-25 which had the most productivity not achieved. Standby hours affect work efficiency based on the theoretical formula of excavator productivity. Efforts are made to improve the work efficiency of excavators by looking at the root problems in the fishbone diagram and analyzing them so that they can be improvised solutions in increasing work efficiency. Factor of humans and methods is the most dominant factor causing productivity at 07:00 - 08:00 a.m. is not achieved. The amount of time is ineffective due to personal activities by the operator and the absence of control from the supervisor over the regulation of the number of haulers after delay shift change.
