Memuat teks yang dihasilkan oleh kelompok penyunting, naskah yang digunakan adalah naskah yang lolos dan tidak pernah / tidak akan pindah ke jurnal lain. Jurnal Sendratasik menerima naskah yang memberikan wawasan tentang isu-isu terkini, dan terutama berhubungan dengan studi Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya(Seni Drama, Tari dan Musik) dengan menyebar luaskan pengetahuan di bidang-bidang yang muncul dan berkembang. Hasil riset, terdiri dari laporan ilmiah yang meningkatkan pengetahuan tentang seni secara umum, seni pertunjukan, dan pendidikan seni. Baik dalam bentuk artikel yang melaporkan hasil studi penelitian kuantitatif atau kualitatif. Artikel secara konseptual harus relevan untuk memajukan Seni Pertunjukan dan Pembelajarannya, menyajikan teori tentang seni, model, posisi filosofis, dll. Artikel juga dapat mengacu pada teori-teori ataupun materi- materi yang dikembangkan dalam praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Bahasa naskah yang dikirimkan dalam bahasa Indonesia. Harus membahas tentang masalah serta kontribusi baru yang signifikan untuk bidang praktik dan pendidikan seni pertunjukan. Artikel dapat berasal dari salah satu bidang berikut: - Drama - Tari - Musik dan / atau Musik Tradisional - dan Pembelajarannya

Abstract This article aims to explain the students' motivation in participating in the activities of self-development of dance in Junior High School 28 Kecamatan Kuranji Padang. This type of research is qualitative and descriptive method. The object of this research is in the seventh grade students of SMPN 28 Kecamatan Kuranji Padang. Which followed the self-development activities amounted to 40 students. The data collection techniques, observation, interviews and documentation. Data analysis was performed with a qualitative approach model of Miles and Huberman. The results showed that from forty 40 students who participated in the self-development of dance, and 30 students who are not motivated, due to the lack of student motivation in training he bersunguh- not really, and a lot of joking in training only 10 righteous - properly motivated towards self-development activities of the art of dance. It can be concluded that the students have the motivation to dance. Most of the students who follow the development of the art of dance expressed themselves motivated to dance. Abstract This article airms to reveal the movement form of Pasambahan dance creation of Syofyani. Syofyani Pasambahan dance is a dance that often featured or displayed in various events, both at the local, and national and international. Type of the research refers to a qualitative research with descriptive method. Object of the research is Syofyani Pasambahan dance. Research instruments is author it self, data collected from literature study, interview, observation, and documentation. Data analyzed with Miles and Huberman model approach. Result of research found that the movement form of Pasambahan dance by Syofyani has uniqueness which combining the dance form of Minangkabau and Melayu. Part of appearance and form of movement form of Pasambahan dance by Syofyani consists of (1) posture, dorninant thing in this dance always shows pitunggu and standing position from dancers. Attitude motion shows the attitude in accordance with the rules of agility and elegance. (2) technique, shows the movement that comes from pencak silat and the art of silat. Specification or characteristic from movernent of Pasambahan dance by Syofyani lies on agility and elegance of art of silat and siganjua lalai’s move. Dance character more lyrical and flowing in a more staccato flow. Keywords : form, Pasambahan’s dance, and creation of Syofyani.

Abstract This study aimed to describe the preservation is done by Studio Minang Saiyo Village Sijantang Sawahlunto which is still used and exist in Sawahlunto. The research is a qualitative study using descriptive methods. Data collected through observation, interview, and literature study. The object of this study is Randai art studio located in the village of Minang Saiyo Sijantang Sawahlunto. These results indicate that the preservation of traditional arts in studio Minang Randai Saiyo has happened the development of the number of users, the expansion of the region and increase the number of actors performances. From 2001 until now the art Randai role in the wedding ceremony and reception guests who come to Sawahlunto. Users arts Randai Sijantang not only villagers but people outside the village Sijantang and Government Sawahlunto. Studio Minang Saiyo has expanded regions show, that as many as 8 regions consisting of Padang Gantiang border area Talawi Downstream with stone cage, Timpeh, Labuah Long, Kajai border area Lunto east to the village Sapan, Sindudua Village Guguak Sarai, Village Napar, Village Lumindai and the village of Tanah Datar Atar. Expansion of the area show performed by Studio Minang Saiyo began in 2014, the expansion pertujukan region can attract the connoisseurs of art and the growing number of actors in the arts Randai. Art displays Randai outside of Sijantang based on the desires of the Minang Studio Saiyo and demand from regions outside the village Sijantang to entertain the people and at the same time preserving Randai Arts in the village Sijantang. Abtract This research was conducted to reveal and describe the efforts done to preserve Talempong Pacik traditional art in Koto XI Tarusan Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. The object of the research was Talempong Pacik traditional art in Koto XI Tarusan. Talempong Pacik was chosen as the object of the research as this traditional art is almost exinct. This was a qualitatif research. The data were gathered through interview, obsevation and documentation. The instrument of the research was the reseacher herself as the key instrument. The data were selected, presented and verified. The result of the research indicated that there were some efforts were done by the people in Koto XI Tarusan to preserve Talempong Pacik. The efforts were done by establishing an art group, recruiting new members, and carring out regular training once a week in Koto XI Tarusan Kabupaten Pesisir Selatan. This study aims to reveal and describe the Satai dance presence in Pulau Tengah, Sub-Regency Keliling Danau, Kerinci Regency. The research is a qualitative research by used analysis descriptive method. The object of research is the Satai dance on Pulau Tengah society. Instrument in this study is the researchers themselves. The type of data used are primary data and secondary data. The data collection techniques performed through the study of literature, direct observation and interviews. Data were analyzed using analysis model of Miles and Huberman. Results of the study found that the Satai dance still encountered in society of Pulau Tengah. Pulau Tengah Society have a high attention to the growth and development of the Satai dance, after is not shown in the ritual of starting reinforcements, in the early 2000s the artists of Pulau Tengah raised Satai dance be welcoming guests. In 2014 the Satai dance changes such as the addition of motion, musical instruments, increasing the number of properties (Carano) and dancers. After changing the function of a means of treatment in the ritual of starting reinforcements become a means of entertainment or spectacle, Satai dance still exist and this proved that Satai dance is always performed in a welcoming ceremony important guests who come to the village of Pulau Tengah in certain events, such as in the race village , appointment depati ninik Mamak, library race, religious gatherings, inauguration of the village head and others. Each year Satai dance is always performed, at least 2 times a year. In the years 2011 to 2015 Satai dance has been shown 10 times. Keyword: Keberadaan, Tari, Satai

Abstrak The formulatian of the research problem was “How was the teaching and learning process of Cultural Art (Music) conducted in class VIII-2 of SMP Negeri 14 Padang?” Based on this formulation, this research sought to explain the impelementation of basic skill of teaching and the teaching and learning process of Cultural Art (Music) conducted in class VIII-14 of SMP negeri 14 Padang. The theoretical review applied in this research was about teaching and learning process, the definition of teaching and learning process, the implementation of teaching and learning process, and teaching and learning process of music at scool. This was a qualitative research which applied descriftive analysis method. The result of the reserch revealed that the basic skill of teaching is very importand to conduct the teaching and learning process of music. This skill is closely related to the technical and non-technical ability of the teacher to conduct music teaching and learning process. There are eight teaching skills needed by the teachers to design the teaching and learning process, and the results could be seen in the learning activities in the classroom. Korelasi Hasil Belajar Solfegio Terhadap Hasil Belajar Vokal 1 Mahasiswa Jurusan Sendratasik FBS-UNP Tirto Agung Pratama; Jagar Lumban Toruan; Yos Sudarman

Abstract The purpose of this research was to reveal and explain the correction between the students learning achievement in Solfegio subject and their learning achievement in Vocal class at Sendratasik department of Faculty Language and Art in State University of Padang (FBS-UNP). This was a quantitative research which applied correlation method. Based on the result of coefficient test, it was figured out that the value of r xy was 0,222 on the degree of freedom α 0,05 and the reliability level 95% for which the value of r table was 0,329. After statistic inferential test was done, it was found that the value of r calculated was smaller than r table indicating that the was a low an insignificant correlation the students learning achievement in Solfegio subject and their learning achievement in Vocal class. Hence, Ha was rejected and Ho was accepted. Keyword: Correlation, Learning achievement, Solfegio, Vocal.

Abstrak The purpose of this research was to describe the use of solfegio in drum band extracurricular activities at SMP N 8 Padang. The activities covered praticing rhythm and melody through audio-visual. This was a qualitative research which applied descriptive analysis method. The object of the research was the use of solfegio in drum band extracurricular activities at SMP N 8 Padang. The date were collected through observation, documentation, and library study. The result of the research revealed that, after the students were trained to listen to the rhythm and melody (audio) and read the rhythm and melody (visual): (1) the students’ knowledge and concept about music increased, (2) the students’ ability to read rhythm notation and melody increased, (3) the students’ skill to use rhythm notation and melody on musical instrument they could play increased, (4) the student’ skill to play music together in presenting the song got better, and (5) the students’ were more excited and self-confident to take part in drum band extracurricular activities. Abstract This article aims to reveal and describe the dance movement material selection can improve male student interest in self-development activities. This type of research is qualitative research. This research instrument is the researchers themselves with the respondent that in SMP 29 Padang, another research data collected using field notes, observations were observed by peers. Research data collection is done by literature study, observation, interviews and documentation. Data were analyzed by percentage formula. From the research results can be explained that before the teacher of Arts and Culture using election material appropriate dance movement in the learning process of male students seem indifferent in receiving dance. After the teacher of using election material Cultural Arts dance right in the process of self-development activities of interest of male students at SMPN 29 Padang on particular subjects Cultural Arts Dance increases. At the time of school hours students will do the teachers demonstrated motion, it can be seen from the meetings I to V desire (36%), concern (43%), and participation (38%) of students has been an increase, in this case the observation of increasing student interest men enter into the good category (66.7%) Keywords: Increasing interest in boys, the selection of materials, self-development.

Abstract Implementation of the work Senting Meter to serve as expression of the composer’s musical experience, music composition has inspired and encourage a composer to learn music. In the implementation of the work, the composer present a collabortive instrument rebana with modern instrument with new packaging, so the composer can show that the game is the rebana can be merged with other instruments and not just use a rebana it just as well as eliminate the thought of teens today that says the game is boring rebana. Here composer present a development techniques Senting (a stong blow) is also one of the techniques of the game rebana. the development of rhythm, sound and colour on the paper Senting Meter is rendered into other instruments, both in terms of musical studies as well as the selection of the instrument. So the works presented more attractive and can be accepted at this time. Keywords: Senting, Meter
