Abstract

This study aims to find out and explain how the implementation of character education through student religious activities at SMK Assa'adah Bungah. This study used a qualitative approach and a descriptive method with a case study research design. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The subjects of the study include principals, teachers, students. Meanwhile, data analysis is carried out by condensing data, presenting data, and verifying data. To test the validity of the data by using credibility, transferability. The research stages include: pre-field stage, entering the field, data analysis, and writing stage. The results of this study show that efforts to instill the value of character education in students through religious activities carried out at SMK Assa'adah Bungah through several activities including: Tahfidz Program, Tartilul Qur’an Guidance(BTQ), Dhuha Prayer and istighosah around. The result of instilling the value of character education is honesty, discipline, social care and environmental care. Conclusion The planting of the value of character education at SMK Assa'adah Bungah was carried out well because there was good planning and communication between teachers and students as well as the role of parents.

Abstract

Some students have difficulty in speaking English, and this happens because of various problems. One of the problems is vocabulary and pronunciation. Based on the problems stated, this study aims to explain the use of the Powtoon application as one of the learning resources needed by students. Powtoon is one of alternative application learning speaking for students now days. Powtoon application can improve student’s speaking ability because Powtoon application is a cartoon learning video that very interesting.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to conduct an axiological study of the Haber-Bosch process. The Haber-Bosch process had both contributions and controversies early on in its discovery. The study in writing this article uses a literature review which consists of selecting the topic to be reviewed, searching and selecting articles related to the topic, analyzing and synthesizing the literature, and organizing the writing. The literature reviewed relates to the main themes, namely the Haber-Bosch process, the use of Haber-Bosch products, and axiological studies on Haber-Bosch products. The results of the axiological study show that: 1) The breakthrough from Haber-Bosch related to ammonia production provides benefits for the sustainability of the agricultural sector and the survival of European society. In the current context, the Haber-Bosch process has both theoretical and practical uses. 2) On the other hand, the Haber-Bosch process is used by Haber to maintain the supply of gunpowder and manufacture toxic gases used as chemical weapons that killed hundreds of thousands of people. Abstract

The revitalization of the cultural values of the Pasuruan city of arts as an effort and form of the love of Pasuruan artists in preserving and caring for the traditional values or habits of the Pasuruan city community are packaged in the form of creative dance works. because the artist's persistence became a milestone in the birth of the cultural dharma art studio where since then the artist's gait and actions have been increasingly rafts and even burning to continue to manifest the cultural values of art typical of the city of Pasuruan either through dances or local songs which are then accompanied by musical instruments. So that it can indirectly revive or revive the cultural values of regional arts that were previously deserted of interest and concern from the community. However, with the existence of this cultural dharma art studio, it makes it a vehicle for the community to gain knowledge, information, and treats about the uniqueness of the original culture of the city of Pasuruan which is not only for interest but also to be learned and passed on to the next generation.

Abstract

The focus of this study is to understand the phenomena that occur within the scope of local wisdom of the Maanyan Dayak tribe. This study uses the library methodology from previous research. This writing finds various philosophical meanings contained in culture. Local wisdom is the main basis for understanding writing. There are various analysis results from previous studies that were developed. The Dayak Maanyan tribe has a precious meaning of togetherness in local wisdom. Several things become the main discussion as follows. First, local wisdom is seen as an effort to preserve culture. Second, traditions passed down and passed down by our ancestors have philosophical values ​​that are rich in life. Third, the relevance of customary values ​​in the life of the nation and state is a characteristic of the Indonesian people.

Abstract

According to its essence, physics consists of three meanings, namely physics as: 1) product, 2 attitude, and 3) process. Physics learning that is carried out adapts to its nature in line with the philosophical thoughts of constructivism put forward by Jean Piaget. Physics learning can be done by paying attention to the three principles of constructivism, namely knowledge: 1) formed by students; 2) is a social outcome; and 3) can always change. This research is qualitative with the library research method. The research data was obtained from a literature review of reference books and research journals. Based on the research results, learning physics in the view of the constructivism paradigm can be studied from several aspects, namely the learning process, the role of students, the learning process, the role of the teacher, learning strategies, and learning evaluation.

Abstract

Martin Heidegger's Existentialist thought articles and their relevance to The background of human existence in the world of technology is its development technology, which can make someone who fails to keep up development will be considered alienated, but one can also lose identity themselves if they only follow the flow of technological developments without knowing the essence. This study aims to determine the nature of technology and at the same time provide an offer looking at technology through the perspective of Martin Heidegger's existentialist philosophy. This research is a library research using elements method as follows. Understanding; means the way that is revealed in understanding something noticed. Understanding is a description of something that is already known in a situational context. Understanding in this context is the way of understanding technology revealed to researchers. Interpretation; it means explication of understanding to see something as (as) something. The interpretation here is based on the understanding of the researcher so that he uses philosophy Martin Heidegger's existentialism as a point of view to see the problem. Formal Indication; character of the concept in Martin Heidegger's phenomenological method specifically is a formal indication. This means that the concept of philosophy is related phenomena are decisive (formal) but at the same time designate (indicate) phenomena certain references to say the principle of something, without claiming to be exact represent the whole situation.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the fact that the reinterpretation of a text from the source language into the target language has not been fully carried out properly to produce a translation that has a content of meaning and sense of value commensurate with the original text in the source language. Likewise in translating literary works, a translator is also required to have the ability to understand the cultural content contained in a source text. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with procedures for identifying the structure and content of the novel and reading figuratively using identification with the pragmatic context of the novel. Careless translators do not occur, including by considering the understanding of the procedures for identifying the structure and content of the translated literary works, understanding of the pragmatic and semantic context of the translated literary works, and understanding of the cross- cultural understanding of the translated literary works.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the style of language in the novel Bibi GILL by Tere Liye and. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative which is described and described in detail. Collecting data in this study using the method of documentation with the development of critical analysis. The data source is the novel Bibi Gill by Tere Liye, with data in the form of words, phrases or sentences that reflect the style of language. The results of this study indicate that Tere Liye's BIBI GILL novel contains various types of language styles, including comparative, contradictory, linking and repetition styles. The results of the research conducted can be used as teaching materials for literary learning.

Abstract

The Indonesian Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology launched a new curriculum called the Independent Curriculum. at the Grow with Google event on 18 February 2022. The curriculum states that computational thinking is one of the new competencies that will be included in the Indonesian children's learning system. The background to this policy is the government's efforts to prepare young people who are digitally literate. Jeanette Wing called it one of the abilities that a person should have, besides the basic skills of reading, writing and arithmetic. The research method in this article is a literature review with a systematic mapping study method. The stages of the literature review are as follows: 1) The stages begin by searching Science Direct and Eric with the keywords Computational Thinking, 2) followed by narrowed keywords, namely Assessing Computational Thinking. 3) Pursing the number of articles obtained is adjusted to the application of computational thinking in Indonesia. 4) Make a Literature Review. Computational thinking is defined as a person's ability to be able to present a problem and a solution to that problem in an algorithmic statement that can be executed like a computer. Technically computational thinking involves four steps: 1) decomposition: problem decomposition, 2) Pattern Recognition: finding patterns, 3) abstraction, and 4) algorithm development. Computational Thinking is simply the thinking process involved in formulating problems and generating solutions in ways that humans or computers can understand. Developing the knowledge and dispositions necessary to understand and create with a computational mind is now a 21st century imperative.
