Abstract

Kajian ini bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan nilai-nilai karakter melalui pendalaman materi sejarah peminatan kelas X SMA. Hal ini dilatar belakangi oleh degradasi moral generasi muda yang menunjukkan potret kemuraman akhlak anak bangsa. Dinamika koneksi antara ruang dan waktu tidak menunjukkan kualitas yang signifikan. Nilai-nilai sejarah tidak dijadikan pedoman untuk hidup melainkan hanyalah retorika belaka, hafalan fakta dan konsep yang sangat kering dan pada akhirnya melemahkan jati diri dan identitas bangsa. Upaya menanamkan nilai-nilai kemuliaan pada jenjang pendidikan SMA menjadi harapan penerapan karakter bangsa yang sudah dimulai di jenjang pendidikan dasar. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMAN 1 Timpeh dengan menggunakan metode deskriptif analitis melalui observasi dan berbagai kajian bacaan sumber (literatur). Upaya membangun karakter anak bangsa melalui pembelajaran sejarah kelas X diharapkan dapat menghasilkan pribadi yang selalu menghargai ruang dan waktu, bertanggungjawab terhadap segala keputusan yang diambil dan bersikap responsif. Sikap responsif dan proaktif dalam belajar sejarah dapat membuat siswa menjadi pribadi yang cerdas. Siswa dapat memunculkan gagasan-gagasan yang inovatif sehingga mampu terlibat dan memiliki andil dalam memajukan bangsa dan negara. Kompetensi Dasar menganalisis sejarah sebagai peristiwa, kisah, ilmu dan seni diharapan dapat melatih siswa untuk berlaku disiplin dan tanggungjawab. Kompetensi Dasar menghargai peradaban budaya bangsa dan toleran akan membentuk identitas dan kepribadian siswa. Guru adalah sosok utama ketauladanan bagi siswa. Nilai-nilai karakter dapat ditanamkan dengan meneladani guru yang berkarakter.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Construction is a process of change that is based on planned and deliberated, and demanded eiter the goverment or the society in improving the lives of more prosperous. Indonesia national construction is a construction paradigm that is built on the practice of pancasila that Indonesia fully human construction and the counstruction of Indonesia society. The construction carried out by the Indonesia goverment is essentially to improve thair living standard society. The construction impacts include the social dimension as the waning of cultural values, social norms causing forms of deviant behavior and dependence of society on the other side as a result of the intervention system construction has an impact on socioe economic conditions. So is the case with the construction of the college located in, Kampung Olo is STKIP PGRI Sumatera Barat that occurred in their socio economic society. The researchar aims to know and desribe the impacts of constructins STKIP PGRI Sumatera Barat toward economic social society Kampung Olo, Nanggalo district Padang city.In this research using Structural Functional Theory form Robert. K. Merton. Beside, the research that used is qualitative research with Descriptive type. As for the information that is taken by using purposive sampling. The number of participants is 21 participants consisting of 15 participants who trade, 3 participants from staff officer Kelurahan and Leader of RW 01 and RW 02. The type of data used primary and secondary data. Method of data colletion is done by 3 ways: 1) observations (non participant), 2) interview, 3) document analysis. To achieve the validity of the reseacrh, the researcher using triagulasi technique. The unit of analysis used is group with data analysis Milles and Huberman consist from steps are reduction, data presentation, and conclucion.Based on the result of the research found the impacts of construction STKIP PGRI Sumatera Barat in Kampung Olo, Nanggalo disrtrict Padang city. 1) Social impact which consist : a. Increasing social network the traders ang migrant society, b. Increasing social norm or more increase the regulations around Kampung Olo especially college area, c. An increase in social problems, d. Demography, the populations density of the society in Kampung Olo. 2) Economic impact: a. Change in the society’s livelihood, b. Increasing society asset after the constructions of the college, c. Abstract

Nahdlatul Wathan local content is particulary learning in Nahdlatul Wathan organization. It is expected that the implementation of this learning can explore the values of nationalism in establishing the national identity and national spirit. The purpose of this research is to describe the implementation of Nahdlatul Wathan local content in exploring the values of nationalism. This also describes the internalization and crystallization of the nationalism values ​​in teaching Nahdlatul Wathan, in which it is spearhead of a nation's strenght to respond the global challenges. The research uses a qualitative approach with case study method. The research is depicted the data from students’s age up of 17 and the teacher’s age is between 22 to 60 years old. The data were obtained through observation, interview, and documentation, those are analyzed by using two approaches, before in the field and during in the field. Futher, analyzing the data were reduction data, display data, and conclusions / verification. The results of the study revealed that the students were very enthusiastic, and felt the implementation of local content, in which the implementation material “Nahdlatul Wathan” with material “the role of Nahdlatul Wathan in nation’s building” and “the role of founder’s nation of Nahdlatul Wathan” produces the student’s the nationalism values of appreciate the heroes and lead higher the eastern values. Muatan lokal Nahdlatul Wathan adalah pembelajaran khusus di lingkungan organisasi Nahdlatul Wathan. Diharapkan dari pelaksanaan pembelajaran ini dapat menggali nilai-nilai nasionalisme dalam pembentukan identitas nasional dan semangat kebangsaan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguraikan pelaksanaan pembelajaran muatan lokal ke Nahdlatul Wathan-an dalam menggali nilai-nilai nasionalisme. Penelitian ini juga menguraikan internalisasi dan kristalisasi nilai-nilai nasionalisme dalam ajaran Nahdlatul Wathan sebagai ujung tombak kekuatan suatu bangsa dalam menjawab tantangan global. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Sumber informan adalah peserta didik yang berumur 17 tahun keatas dan guru berumur antara 22 hingga 60 tahun. Data diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi yang kemudian dianalisis menggunakan dua pendekatan yakni sebelum di lapangan dan selama dilapangan dengan data reduksi, data display, dan Gambaran kesimpulan/Verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peserta didik sangat semangat dan antusias dalam implementasi muatan lokal nahdlatul wathan, yang mana implementasi materi “peran Nahdlatul Wathan dalam pembangunan bangsa” dan “peran pendiri Nahdlatul Wathan” menghasilkan Peserta didik yang memiliki nilai nasionalisme dalam menghargai pahlawan dan menjujung tinggi nilai ketimuran.

Abstract

In essence, culture has values that are capable of being inherited and carried out along with the development of society. In carrying out our daily lives we cannot be separated from cultural elements, every thing we do and we do in life is greatly influenced by local culture. Culture is also used as a guide for making decisions in the fields of social, legal, economic and inherited through communication from one generation to the next, so that generations inherited have the toughness in living their lives. As stated by Geertz in (Rusdi Yunus, 2014: 1) that culture is a pattern of meaning manifested in symbols and passed down from generation to generation. In other words, culture is the work of humans who are able to produce and develop human knowledge and attitudes towards life that are inherited through communication and learning.

Abstract

Education is the main way to advance a nation. Progress is not only in terms of technological or physical aspects but also progress in human behavior and civilization. So it is not strange that the character of the people of a nation is a reflection of the quality of education. At present, the problem of the character of Indonesia's young generation is crucial to be overcome. The decline in character does not only occur in children with minimal education, but also occurs in children with secondary schooling. Many cases are related to this character decline, for example in Nagari Sungai Nyalo, Pesisir Selatan Regency. Nagari Sungai Nyalo as an active area in tourism, but not accompanied by changes in the behavior of its generation for the better, is evident that there are still many children of Nagari Sungai Nyalo who extort extortion to tourists, besides the spoken language has not been used reflecting the values of politeness. Facing this problem several attempts were made, one of which was the inculcation of character values through historical literacy. The essence of history is a storehouse of values and characters, one of which can be obtained through the story of historical figures, such as; Buya Hamka, Mohammad Hatta, Agus Salim, Natsir, Tan Malaka and other historical figures. These figures are great figures who not only have intellectual intelligence but also have extraordinary character and character. The moral values and personalities of these figures need to be instilled in the younger generation of children, as the authors have done with the children of Nagari Sungai Nyalo in Pesisir Selatan Regency.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to explain the implementation of the tradition of death festivity on Terong Island, Batam City and explain more deeply the meaning contained in the tradition of death festivity. This type of research is descriptive qualitative. In this study data collection was carried out through direct observation to the object of research and to record a symptom and event related to the implementation and meaning of the tradition of death festivals, interviews directly and in depth (indepth interview) with religious leaders, community leaders, and the community as well documentation. Data analysis techniques using the Miles and Huberman model, namely data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing / verification. The results of this study explain that the implementation of the festivity of death in Batam City Terong Island begins with the festivity of the first day, the third day (nige), the seventh day, the twentieth day, the fortieth day and the hundredth day. The festivity is also decorated with cash dishes from Terong Island which are believed by the community to have a special meaning. The meaning of feast on the first day is transferring the mortal realm to the original baqa and wadaq originating from the ground and returning to the ground. The meaning of the feast on the third day is to perfect the four things, namely, earth, wind, fire and water, luamah, anger, sufiah, mutmainnah. The meaning of the seventh day feast is to perfect the skin and nails of the body. The meaning of feasting on the fortieth day is to perfect the nature of his father and mother in the form of blood, flesh, marrow, stomach contents, nails, hair, bones, and muscles. While the meaning of the implementation of the hundredth day is the same as the meaning of the festivity on the fortieth day. Abstract

This research has a purpose to identify: the impact of changing kudo ritual dance traditions in the social life of people in the village of debai jambi province. This type of research is qualitative descriptive. Sources ie primary data submitted by informants, data sources taken in the form of written notes coming from informants who were interviewed, documentation and literature study. The research findings reveal that the change of kudo rentak tradition in the social life of society in Debai village of Jambi Province has social and moral impact such as the behavior of less polite when dancing, drinking behavior, fights between youth when danced by kudo rentak dance, disturbance of society with Loud music. The social control of the village and community governments is so weak that they are unable to minimize the impact of the tradition.

Abstract

Artikel ini merupakan kajian sejarah yang membahas mengenai perjalanan hidup dan pengalaman seorang Zulbainar yang merupakan perempuan Gerwani (Gerakan Wanita Indonesia) asal Sungai Sariak Kabupaten Padang Pariaman yang merupakan salah satu daerah basis PKI dan ‘keluarganya’ di Sumatera Barat. Penelitian ini termasuk penelitian biografi tematis dengan tujuan penelitian untuk mendeskripsikan perjalanan hidup, peran, serta pengalaman-pengalaman Zulbainar dalam Gerwani di Nagari Sungai Sariak Kab. Padang Pariaman. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode sejarah yang bertumpu pada empat langkah kegiatan yaitu heuristik, kritik sumber, interpretasi, dan historiografi. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh adalah penelitian ini memaparkan fakta-fakta yang terkait dengan peristiwa G30S 1965 yang terjadi di Sumatera Barat. Zulbainar merupakan salah satu korban diantara ribuan korban lainnya yang ikut mendapat dampak meletusnya G30S 1965. Keikutsertaannya dalam organisasi terlarang tersebut membawa dampak besar dalam hidupnya. Kiprahnya yang ikut gencar dalam mengembangkan organisasi tersebut membuatnya dicap sebagai tahanan politik gol.B. Selama 12 tahun dipenjara dan penderitaan mereka berakhir tahun 1977. Status baru sebagai eks-Tapol ia nikmati hingga kini di usia senjanya. Kini di usia senjanya Zulbainar aktif menyuarakan penengakkan HAM bagi mereka yang menjadi korban G30S 1965 melalui sebuah Yayasan yang bernama YPKP 1965 (Yayasan Penelitian Korban Pembunuhan 1965) Sumatera Barat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap dinamika sejarah politik Korea Utara, khususnya terkait strategi politik Korea Utara tahun 1948 sampai 2011, yang digunakan oleh dinasti Kim untuk mempertahankan kekuasaan politiknya selama hampir delapan puluh tahun. Metode penelitian adalah kajian pustaka terkait sejarah Korea Utara. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dinasti politik di Korea Utara menyusun strategi preventif dan represif dalam bentuk ideologi negara yaitu ideologi Juche. Ideologi Juche merupakan akulturasi dari semangat komunis dan budaya setempat yang berkembang sejalan dengan proses de-Stalinisasi (1956) di Korea Utara. Penguatan birokrasi dan militer yang loyal diupayakan sebagai alat pengendali masa. Penggunaan teror juga diterapkan sebagai bentuk langkah represi terhadap para oposan dalam negeri. Melalui strategi politik tersebut, dinasti Kim dapat bertahan dari tantangan politik internal dan mendapatkan loyalitas rakyat secara berkesinambungan.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis bentuk nilai-nilai kearifan lokal Tradisi Suran di Desa Wonosari Kecamatan Wonosari Kabupaten Malang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah sumber data primer dan sumber data sekunder. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ada tiga, yaitu wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah Tradisi Suran merupakan perayaan masyarakat Desa Wonosari untuk menyambut tanggal 1 pada Bulan Suro. Masyarakat Desa Wonosari memiliki cara-cara tersendiri untuk melestarikan tradisi yang ada di sekitarnya dan dikenal dengan kearifan lokal. Adapun kearifan lokal yang ada pada Tradisi Suran terbagi menjadi beberapa nilai, diantaranya nilai religi, nilai estetika, nilai gotong royong, nilai moral dan nilai toleransi. Nilai-nilai kearifan lokal tersebut merupakan simbol-simbol yang dihasilkan oleh masyarakat melalui proses interaksi. Nilai-nilai tersebut dapat dimaknai dengan baik apabila masyarakat menjalankan Tradisi Suran secara rutin setiap tahun dan memahami nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam setiap tahapan mulai dari persiapan, pelaksanaan dan penutupan.
