Abstract

Responding to the development of the Covid-19 virus, the Ministry of Education and Culture, Director General of Higher Education, and State University of Surabaya published a letter related to online learning at home. In order for online learning activities to run smoothly, it is necessary to develop teaching books that are in accordance with the needs of online learning, one of which is in the form of Student Teaching Books (BAM). Based on the results of previous research, BAM has a significant role in learning activities, especially online learning. BAM development is carried out in the Course of Education Policy Analysis using ADD (Analysis, Design, and Development) method. Online learning is implemented using the Google Classroom platform. Based on the results of the analysis carried out, the development of this student teaching book was developed based on 4 aspects, namely aspects of content feasibility, feasibility of presentation of materials, feasibility of language, and feasibility of graphation. The development of this teaching book is validated by 2 experts, namely content experts and linguists. Based on the validation results, the textbook developed obtained a score of 86.5 with excellent assessment criteria, so it is feasible to be a teaching material for students in the Education Policy Analysis Course.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the implementation of school quality control management at SMK N 2 Karanganyar, Surakarta, Central Java. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Data collection techniques are carried out with interviews, observations, and documentation. Indicators developed by researchers as guidelines in data collection include school planning, school program implementation, principal leadership, and supervision and evaluation. Data analysis techniques include data reduction, data presentation, and inference. The education process at SMK N 2 Karanganyar has met the quality education criteria which include: 1) the effectiveness of the headmaster's leadership; 2) active participation of all interested components in the school; 3) effectiveness of teaching and learning process; 4) relevant curriculum; 5) directed vision, mission, and objectives; 6) conducive to the climate and school environment; 6) community involvement and parents of learners. This research implies that the headmaster's leadership and managerial ability are necessary to realize effective school management. The quality of education at SMK N 2 Karanganyar has the opportunity to be dynamically and innovatively devised to achieve improved standard quality.

Abstract

Abstract: The principal's strategy is an important factor in determining the success of quality improvement in schools. This study aims to identify and describe the role of the principal, the principal's strategy and the obstacles faced by the principal in improving the quality of learning. To achieve these objectives, this study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews and documentation study. Data analysis procedures are data reduction, data presentation and verification. Meanwhile, the research subjects were school principals, vice principals and teachers. The results showed that the role of the principal in improving the quality of learning was going well. The strategies that have been carried out by the principal in improving the quality of learning include: increasing the teaching ability of teachers, utilizing media and educational facilities, implementing regular supervision, establishing cooperation with the community and implementing strict time discipline for both teachers and students. The obstacle faced by the principal in improving the quality of learning at SMP Negeri 9 Prabumulih is the lack of permanent teaching staff, so that many teachers are used as honorary teachers and there are still teachers who teach not according to their educational qualifications in order to cover the shortage of teachers in certain subjects.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to gain preliminary insights on how the participants of Edulead Training implemented the training in their respective institutions and the impacts perceived after the implementation. Research method used to measure the implementation was survey method using online questionnaire, with open and closed questions. The data analise were from 25 out of 28 training participants participated in the data collection. The results showed that all respondents reported that they had implement the training on their job. There were three channels reported on how the training materials being implemented: by conducting training to teachers and other members of school management, applying the materials themselves, and conducting socailization/knowledge sharing to teachers, other members of school management, and parents. After implementing training materials on their respective institutions, all participants reported positive impact. The positive impact reported was seen in teachers, students, other members of school management, working environment, and parent

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan pembelajaran daring pada mata kuliah Manajemen Peserta Didik di Angkatan 2019 (Kelas A dan B) melalui platform Google Classroom dan pengembangan bahan ajar mahasiswa untuk membantu meningkatkan pemahaman mahasiswa terhadap materi perkuliahan Manajemen Peserta Didik. Hal ini sangat penting karena dengan menggunakan platform Google Classroom dan didukung dengan bahan ajar dapat memudahkan mahasiswa dalam belajar dan diskusi meskipun tidak tatap muka secara langsung. Metode yang digunakan adalah ADD (Analysis, Design, Development) bahan ajar mahasiswa dan pemanfaatan platform Google Classroom untuk pembelajaran daring.

Abstract

Kerjasama stake holder, merupakan kebutuhan perguruan tinggi untuk meningkatkan mutu Tri Dharma. Kemitraan dalam negeri dan luar negeri, merupakan indikator kualitas perguruan tinggi secara nasional maupun internasional. Penelitian ini  bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan problematika kerjasama Perguruan Tinggi, solusi yang ditempuh Perguruan Tinggi dalam menguatkan kerjasama dalam masa pandemi covid 19 dan penguatan kerjasama Perguruan Tinggi pasca Pandemi Covid 19. Metode yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kualitatif dengan desain strategi inqury. Hasil dari penelitian ini dalam memetakan problematika kerjasama yaitu 1) terbatasnya tatap muka secara langsung 2) terbatasnya kegiatan kerjasama internasional 3) tervariasinya standar operasional prosedur kerjasama antar lembaga. Solusi yang ditempuh 1) menguatkan kerjasama dalam masa pandemic 2) menerapkan prosedur daring 3) melakukan perencanaan yang matang 4) keterampilan menguasai IT. Pola penguatan kerjasama 1) faktor motivasi kerjasama 2) Pergeseran nilai etika 3) Cara inovatif untuk kerjasama. Kesimpulannya bahwa tetap terjalin proses kerjasama perguruan tinggi namun dilakukan dengan daring dan perencanaan yang matang.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the principal's strategy in strengthening character education through the School Literacy Movement at SDN 187 Palembang. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. There are six informants in this study. The data collection techniques used were documentation, interviews, and observations. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions and then testing the validity of the data. Based on the results of data analysis that has been done previously, it can be concluded that there is a strategy carried out by the principal of SDN 187 Palembang in strengthening character education in students through the School Literacy Movement (GLS) which consists of implementing policies for the School Literacy Movement activities and implementing strategies for attracting reading interest from students is done by giving rewards to students, reading books 10-15 minutes before learning, book corners and increasing the convenience of the library.
