Abstract

The development of technology and information is currently proliferating, especially in the education. However, until now the UM’s Sociology Laboratory is still using the system manually. So as an effort to upgrade and efficiency, the laboratory manager developed an Online Service and Information System for the Sociology Laboratory, abbreviated as Si-LIONLABS Website-Based. The purpose of this research is to develop website to provide updated services and information via the internet to students, lecturers, and the wider community. Si-LIONLABS is expected to make it easier for students and lecturers to access Sociology Laboratory services online so that optimal and efficient services will be created. The research development model is the ADDIE development model. ADDIE stands for the five stages of the product development model: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The result of this development research is the creation of a Sociology Laboratory management system that is ready to be used.

Abstract

Advertising marketing in commercial applications with marketing requirements cannot be separated from the development of visual communication. The Tiktok application plays an important role in advertising marketing media, and commercial applications such as Instagram and Tiktok can be in the database or storage media for business people in carrying out their business processes. The data obtained shows that UMKM players are still lacking in utilizing promotional opportunities through the Tiktok application, so the research conducted aims to provide information related to opportunities for UMKM players and the Tiktok social media user community in increasing product sales. The research was conducted using quantitative methods, where the data obtained is based on numbers and analysis. The results of the research found in the form of data showing the effect of the level of effectiveness of content marketing on significant purchasing decisions.

Abstract

The development of the current Point of Sales (POS) system is very important for industry, especially for trading efforts, many business industries use digital recording or data collection systems. Mandala Motor Workshop is company engaged in the automotive sector, providing repair services and selling spare parts for two-wheeled vehicles. At this time the sales system that runs at the Mandala Motor Workshop is still manual in making business records, there are often mistakes when dividing the entire payment, there’s no recording of client information, recording inventory of goods written on paper notes, resulting risk of loss and inefficiency. Point of Sales (POS) is system can help the marketing business process of mandala motor repair shop. Each Point of Sales consists of hardware and applications, these 2 parts used for running business process. System design using Agile Development Method has six stages consisting of planning, implementation, testing, documentation, deployment, and maintenance. Aimed assisting management in checking marketing reports directly, making easier for industry to carry out marketing business, inventory, client information and producing good communication for companies, employees, clients. This application has also been evaluated using the Software Usability Scale (SUS) method, where the average of 200 respondents, namely 76.6%, is included in the acceptable application acceptance level category, the grade level category is in position C, and the adjective rating category be in position. acceptable so that it can be concluded that the application is suitable for use by users and has been fulfilled.

Abstract

Heart attack is a very serious heart disorder. This disorder occurs when the heart muscle does not get good blood flow. This condition will interfere with the function of the heart in flowing blood flow throughout the body. This study aims to develop a system capable of classifying people with heart disease using the Naïve Bayes method. Naïve Bayes is a method that works based on the probability that a person has a heart disease or not based on their medical record data. This algorithm is used with the aim of calculating the probability of a person suffering from heart disease based on their medical records. This data was obtained from the University of California Irvine Machine Learning website with a total of 303 datasets with 13 attributes. This research was conducted by dividing the data into 75% for training data and 25% for training data. The results of this study indicate that the Naïve Bayes algorithm used gives a fairly high accuracy value of 86.84%.

Abstract

Fire is a disaster that frequently threatens the safety of people and property. High fire risk requires an efficient and responsive detection system to provide early warning. Therefore, this study applies Internet of Things (IoT) technology as an innovative approach to overcome these challenges. The developed fire detection system integrates various key sensor components to achieve accurate results. The MQ-2 sensor is used to detect the presence of smoke or gas that is an early sign of a fire. Until now, flame detectors are used to detect the presence of fire. In addition, the NodeMCU acts as a data processing hub for these sensors and runs complex detection algorithms. By combining these technologies, research has shown that this fire detection system can provide accurate information in real time when a fire breaks out. Its speed of intervention reduces fire losses, helping the public and firefighters to take appropriate precautions and actions. As such, these systems have the potential to save lives and valuable community property

Abstract

Looting is a serious crime that threatens the safety and integrity of the truck's cargo, which can lead to financial loss and even threaten the safety of the driver and crew. To overcome this problem, this study focuses on developing a theft warning system using advances in Internet of Things (IoT) technology and smart devices. The prototype was built using a highly sensitive PIR sensor as a motion detector around the truck. The data from the PIR sensor is then processed by the Arduino Uno, which acts as the brains of the system, and through the HC-05 Bluetooth connection, alarm and vibration messages are transmitted to the user's smartphone drive. This allows drivers to react quickly and be on the lookout for or notify authorities of the possibility of looting. With the successful development of this alarm system, it is hoped that it can improve the level of security in the trucking industry and reduce the risk of cargo loss due to looting. Moreover, the success of this study also has a positive contribution to the application of IoT technology to improve safety in the field of transportation and logistics.

Abstract

Technological developments are increasingly sophisticated and along with the times, are able to summarize and simplify human work. Especially in managing attendance manually by recording on an attendance sheet, it will take a long time and entering attendance data one by one. It is possible that an error occurred in the data input process. So, humans take advantage of technology by developing attendance applications that can detect employee presence online that can be connected to the website. With this, the author creates a system for implementing web presence applications, with the Map Leaflet JS Location features by using Laravel which can help calculate employee absences in real time and is able to detect employee locations accurately. This Web Application System, The Extreme Programming design method uses the PHP programming language, MySQL database and Laravel Framework. This Web Application System can be equipped with employee data pricessing features, employee leave permission data to. In order to be able to provide employee absence information and print reports related to employee attendance information.

Abstract

From 2017 to 2022, the Department of Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform assessed the SPBE index of various government agencies with the aim of improving public services and community engagement through technology. In this context, assessing the accessibility of a website or an information system is a simple way of assessing the convenience for the public to access a website or a government information system. government. This study aims to test the accessibility of websites belonging to the three district/city governments with the highest SPBE scores in 2022, Surakarta City, Surabaya City and Denpasar City in terms of usage. WCAG standards. The tests were performed using three accessibility automation tools, namely aXe, WAVE and siteImprove. As a result, despite their high SPBE scores, Surabaya and Surakarta still had a number of accessibility issues that needed to be resolved.

Abstract

In the current era, in the world of technology is increasingly developing, one of which is the development of online buying and selling platforms (e-commerce). E-commerce is the performance of remote transactions of goods or services between two companies (business-to-business) or between companies and customers (business-to-consumers). E-commerce has facilitated remote transactions. The existence of this online shopping platform greatly affects the people of Indonesia and all over the world who carry out online shopping activities, especially in the current pandemic situation. There are many e-commerce platforms that we can use today. When we make purchases online, we are offered several payment methods on each of the platforms we will use. This study will discuss sentiment analysis based on a questionnaire completed by respondents. The results of this study will lead to user satisfaction using the payment system provided on the selected platform and will show the most frequently used payment system on each platform. The parameters for this search use payment system, age, occupation, and background. This study uses Naive Bayes methods and Decision Tree.

Abstract

The classification code applied to television programs is certainly not just a small code that is displayed during the airing process. This code has the meaning to classify programs by age category. The classification code of television programs is intended so that viewers can adjust the viewing to age categories and types of shows that are in accordance with social morals. Catatan Si Bocil Program is a problem to analyze about the process of receiving codes to airing events. Another institution tasked with this classification code is the Film Censorship Board as well as the regulations drafted as a provision of broadcasting guidelines. The purpose of this study is intended to convey how important classification codes are on television programs. The method used is qualitative with a descriptive approach, so that the data used is based on the process of observation, interviews, literature studies and documentation. This study found the process of giving classification codes and impressions that have been given classification codes based on the results of assessments conducted by the Film Censorship Institute. The implications of this research can be a reference for television stations in making programs.
