Abstract

The purpose of this service activity is to increase the knowledge and skills of the Karya Maju Fish Farmers Group (Pokdakan) in Karya Tani Village, Barambai District, Barito Kuala Regency regarding the enlargement of gourami in the round pond system. The approach method used is the delivery of material through socialization, hands-on practice in installing circular pools, question and answer which is then carried out by evaluating the knowledge and skills of the target audience. The results showed that there was an increase in knowledge and skills where previously the number of target audience who have no knowledge and skills about growing gouramy in the round pond system 80%, then decreased to 0%. In practices, the gouramy grew 92% for 30 days of rearing with a mortality rate only 8% and the calculation results were declared economically viable.

Abstract

Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (CHLB) is one of the habits that can be done as an effort to prevent stunting from an early age. CHLB is an effort to apply clean and healthy living habits to individuals, groups, and communities through various ways of communication such as talking directly or using information media. The purpose of the service activities of the MBKM Thematic Real Work Lecture program with the Stunting-Free Village scheme is to provide understanding and knowledge to students about the importance of having habits in implementing Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (CHLB) in everyday life as an effort to prevent stunting in the future. The method used was a method of socialization or counseling to students of SD Negeri Jangur with a total of 73 students. From the results of the achievements of socialization activities, it can be seen that the insight of students has increased from 64% to 91%. Based on the visible percentage results, it can be concluded that the socialization that has been carried out can be said to be successful.

Abstract

Trigger finger, also known as stenosing tenosynovitis, is a hand disorder generally caused by inflammation or narrowing of the flexor tendons that control finger movement. This disorder can result in difficulty in fully clenching or opening the fingers, as well as significant pain or discomfort. Education about trigger finger cases is an important approach in the management and prevention of this disease. Trigger finger case education involves an in-depth understanding of the causes, symptoms, diagnosis, and available treatment options. Through education, individuals can understand the risk factors for jobs that involve excessive use of their hands or certain diseases that can increase their risk of developing trigger finger. This education can help people increase their knowledge about treatment to reduce the risk of this disease, such as stretching their hands regularly and using ergonomic techniques. The achievement of the final evaluation of community knowledge after counseling is from 8,1% to 100%. Trigger finger prevention process from the beginning was unknown to the target community. Education through the counseling process still needs to be carried out.

Abstract

One of the variables that influences a baby's development is sleep and rest. The quality of a baby's sleep is influenced by the comfort factor of the baby's body. Baby massage is one way to reduce sleep problems. Baby massage techniques are different from massage for adult humans. This community service activity aims to provide education to caregivers in orphanages about baby massage, which is linked to the quality of toddlers' sleep. The method used is outreach using media in the form of health promotion through pamphlets, complete with a pre-post test to measure the effectiveness of the exercise. The counseling went well and was easy for participants to understand. This is known from the evaluation results where there was an increase in participants' knowledge from 0% to 100% after the material was given. One of the participants stated that quite good changes in sleep quality had occurred when physiotherapy was implemented in the orphanage. These findings indicate the success of the activity. Intensive outreach is still needed to expand the positive impact of baby massage in the public.

Abstract

Coffee powder is one of the products favored by the public. Many industries produce these products, one of which is CV. Kopi Citarasa Persada. To gain an understanding of the importance of SOP, performance that is more systematic, efficient and running according to company goals, a socialization and design of the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for Robusta ground coffee production was carried out at CV. Kopi Citarasa Persada. By properly implementing the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) in a company, it can help maintain the stability of employee performance and the quality of the products produced. Based on this activity the results obtained in the form of draft SOP for post-harvest handling, SOP for production process, SOP for product packaging, SOP for product storage, SOP for product sales, SOP for distribution and SOP for employee.

Abstract

Dungus Regional General Hospital is one of the public hospitals in the city of Madiun. Many patients who visit hospitals, especially physiotherapy clinics, are elderly people who are experiencing degenerative processes. The degenerative process is a decrease in physical function, one of which is musculoskeletal, such as knee pain. There are still many elderly people who do not know the signs and symptoms of knee pain and the right time for treatment. Based on this, education was carried out regarding early detection of pain in the knee. Counseling was presented using PowerPoint media, holding a question-and-answer session, and educating the elderly to seek treatment immediately if they experienced knee pain. The education process is going well, people are starting to understand the signs and symptoms of knee pain. By providing outreach to the public, it is hoped that it can increase the expansion of public knowledge about the signs and symptoms of knee pain, risk factors and early detection of knee pain.

Abstract

Utilization of geometric blocks in elementary mathematics learning can increase students' interest and activeness in learning mathematics. This activity aims to explore the use of geometric blocks as a fun learning medium in elementary mathematics learning. The method used is a descriptive approach through observation, interviews, and documentation. The target of the activity is 29 grade 5 students at SD Negeri 38 Bengkulu City. The results of the activity show that the use of geometric blocks in elementary mathematics learning can increase students' interest and activeness in learning. Students are more interested and enthusiastic in participating in learning. The use of geometric blocks can also improve understanding of mathematical concepts. Students can easily visualize and understand geometric concepts such as cubes, beams and prisms. This activity makes an important contribution to the development of innovative and fun elementary mathematics learning. Utilization of building blocks as learning media can be used as an effective alternative to increase students' interest and achievement in mathematics.

Abstract

MSMEs are one of the business units that play an important role in the growth and development of the economy in Indonesia, especially in lower and middle class society. The MSME "Sunawan Mushroom" which is a partner in this community service program is one of the MSMEs in Rogojampi District, Banyuwangi, engaged in the oyster mushroom cultivation business. Based on the results of the identification of the proposing team in partner businesses, there are two main problems, namely in the areas of production and marketing. The community service program which was carried out for 8 months attempted to overcome these two problems. This activity is in accordance with the main performance indicators (IKU) of PGRI Banyuwangi University, namely that lecturers carry out activities outside the campus and the results of the lecturers' work are used by the community. Because this activity involves students, this activity is also in accordance with one of the IKUs, namely students gaining experience outside campus. The outputs targeted by this program include IoT-based Automatic Controlling System Technology, an Android-based franchise system, increasing partner production and sales, and increasing partner turnover. Overall, the technology implemented in the partner's oyster mushroom business succeeded in increasing production capacity by 25% (from 500kg to an increase of 650kg), succeeded in reducing the level of pest attacks during the mushroom growing process from 15% to 5% (down 10%), and reduced fungus death rate 5-10%. These results automatically increase partners' income from sales of oyster mushrooms by optimizing the temperature conditions of mushroom cages and minimizing the death rate of oyster mushrooms from pest attacks that attack mushroom tanks.

Abstract

The rapid development of changing has resulted in increasing the growth and use of the internet on a global scale. Digital marketing is a marketing medium that currently in great demand by the public to support various activities. Several MSMEs in Kepanjenlor Subdistrict, Blitar City are still not utilizing digital marketing due to the lack of literacy, online marketing training, and conventional sales. The aim of this activity is to help overcome this problem by increasing wider marketing of MSME businesses in Kepanjenlor Subdistrict, Blitar City, especially in RT 01 RW 05. As a result of this activity, participants can obtain information and develop business opportunities.

Abstract

From the screening carried out at one of the weaving centers of Banjar, Tulis Medahan, it was found that 5 out of 6 weavers present had complaints of pain in their lower back, also known as low back pain. They don't know about low back pain yet. To add insight or knowledge from weavers, counseling is carried out about the meaning, causes, and factors that influence low back pain. Also given training on the benefits and forms of exercises that can be done independently at home, to reduce pain due to low back pain. Education for weavers about the William Flexion Exercise using leaflets as an outreach medium. Weavers are also given a pretest and posttest in the form of questions to measure the effectiveness of the counseling that has been given. The evaluation showed an increase in knowledge of weavers in counseling from 16% to 100% because counseling was easy to understand and went well.
