Abstract

This community service activity provides information related to disaster and tsunami evacuation routes in the city of Meulaboh, West Aceh Regency, especially in the red zone area. Poltekkes is a vocational college located in Meulaboh, West Aceh District, which is in the red zone area. Communities in the red zone are prone to earthquakes and tsunamis, so they must carry out an evacuation process. The method of implementing this community service activity consists of socializing evacuation routes consisting of 7 routes in Johan Pahlawan District and 5 routes in Meureubo District. Measuring the achievements of socialization activities was carried out by distributing questionnaires to students, including filling in suggestions and input for planning earthquake and tsunami disaster evacuation routes. The results of the questionnaire showed that the Poltekkes students, after the socialization was carried out, already knew the 12 evacuation routes provided. On average, students understand the current condition of the evacuation routes that have been socialized. Students also mostly answered agree from each question given. For questions related to problems encountered during the evacuation process, 63.8% answered that there was congestion at the intersection because each vehicle met from a different direction, 53.2% mixed residents who evacuated with vehicles and people who ran during the evacuation process ongoing, and 29.8% answered that the capacity of the road section exceeded the capacity of the community conducting the evacuation.

Abstract

Ngeposari Village, Semanu District, Gunung Kidul Regency, DIY, is 40 km from the campus. Most people work in the agricultural sector. In particular, the community uses a rain-fed agricultural system. Rain-fed agriculture has limited water availability and relies on rainwater as a source. Rain-fed agricultural land is at high risk of drought. Therefore, through the PPK ORMAWA program, students are trying to contribute, educating the public on agricultural development, through the concept of smart farming in cultivating horticultural plants. The community can implement the concept of smart farming, horticulture, and tilapia cultivation through the aquaponics method. This is an effort to meet the need for healthy food and increase the income of village communities. The program uses a community empowerment system through 3 stages, namely awareness, capacity building and empowerment. The awareness stage is intended to provide understanding and awareness for the community regarding the potential they have and the sectors that can be developed. The community awareness stage is a crucial first step and is the basis for community empowerment. At the capacity building stage, the community is given counseling and assistance to be able to actively implement smart farming as an empowerment stage. Activities were carried out well until the end of the third stage.

Abstract

Recently in Indonesia, there has been an increase in degenerative diseases such as heart disease caused by high blood fat levels, namely triglycerides and cholesterol. Prevention of heart disease can be done by adjusting the diet and consuming healthy foods that contain hypocholesterolemic properties and probiotics. Compounds that are thought to have hypocholesterolemic properties are curcuminoids in rhizomes such as white saffron (Curcuma mangga Val.). In addition, probiotic food is very good for the body because it contains microorganisms that can support the digestive and immune systems. Sumbersari village is in Moyudan sub-district, Sleman district, Special Region of Yogyakarta. Most of the people work in agriculture as owners or cultivators. The survey results of the service team showed that the community did not know how to cultivate, the benefits of white saffron, how to process instant powder and the benefits of probiotic foods that can reduce the risk of degenerative diseases such as heart disease. Counseling was held on Saturday 29 July 2023 which was attended by 36 people. The first step of the service activity is the coordination of cooperation with partners to motivate the community of the Farmer Group in Menulis hamlet to be willing to participate wholeheartedly in all activities. At the implementation stage, counseling was carried out to broaden the insight of the Farmers Group of Menulis hamlet related to the cultivation and benefits of white saffron and probiotic food. In addition to counseling activities, there was also a distribution of white saffron seeds, white saffron capsules, instant powder "ESEM" empon-empon, yakult, and souvenir of the book "Lebih Sehat dengan Kunir Putih Jenis Mangga". The Menulis farmer group was eager to plant white saffron seeds and enthusiastic about the benefits of white saffron and probiotics, as evidenced by the many questions during counseling.

Abstract

The development of science and technology (IPTEK) has made all aspects of human life turn to digitalization, including in the field of marketing. Digital marketing is a marketing technique that is carried out by utilizing electronic media or the internet, which can connect one person to another without time and distance limits. In this era, digital marketing is very important for MSME actors in expanding their market reach. Several MSME actors in Rungkut Menanggal Village have not used digital marketing due to a lack of knowledge and understanding of digital marketing. The purpose of this activity is to help solve the problems faced by MSMEs in the field of marketing and find and develop digital marketing strategies to expand the market reach of MSMEs. With this community service, MSMEs in Rungkut Menanggal Village can expand market reach through the dissemination of digital marketing strategies so that they are expected to increase sales of their products.

Abstract

Smoked fish products produced by fishing households in Jayapura City are widely known, becoming food products that are popular with city residents and souvenirs for tourists. The development of this superior commodity requires at least four requirements, namely that commodity procurement must be continuous in quantity, quality and at the right time, have good traceability, continuous development and mastery of technology, and adequate mastery of business management. It is within this framework that this community service activity is carried out. The aim of this Community Partnership Service activity is to empower the community to increase their knowledge and skills in using appropriate fish smoking equipment, making hygienic packaging, understanding production and marketing management and making simple cash books in running a smoked fish processing business in Hamadi Village, Jayapura City. This service uses participatory rural appraisal methods, fisheries education, and pretest posttest control group design. Based on the results of the implementation of activities with POKLAHSAR Mama Papua partners on 26-27 August and 22-23 September 2023, it is known that there is an understanding of cash bookkeeping, the use of appropriate smoking equipment, production management and marketing management, as well as making hygienic packaging for smoked tuna. , has increased. It is hoped that this can become a benchmark for the development of the smoked fish business among partners as targeted in the activity objectives.

Abstract

The results of the situation analysis show that poor hygiene conditions and sanitation facilities that do not comply with health standards occur at SMAIT ANIC, Banjarbaru City, South Kalimantan. Based on the results of this analysis, the Community Partnership Program (PKM) seeks to solve this problem. The PKM program implemented as a solution is education about cleanliness, to increase the school community's knowledge and awareness of the importance of school cleanliness. School cleanliness plays a role in the implementation of education in schools. The method used in the activity is a lecture with questionnaires given before and after the activity as a means of evaluation. This activity also emphasizes active participation from all parties involved, including students and teachers, as well as school administration staff. The results of the activity showed an increase in students' understanding and awareness of the meaning of school cleanliness and sanitation. These results indicate that the objectives of this PKM program have been achieved. Increasing knowledge will certainly have an impact on environmental cleanliness and clean-living habits of students.

Abstract

Tosari Village is one of the tourism-supporting villages in the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park (TNBTS) area and already has Sanja Tosari Village as a tourist village. Based on survey, observation, and interview activities, Sanja of Tosari Village has problems promoting tourism villages that still utilize personal and community social media. In addition, the promotion of tourist villages has also not utilized virtual reality technology due to minimal capacity and accessibility. The solution to problem partners is assisting the development and application of smart tourism virtual reality as a medium for promoting sustainable tourism villages. The stages of developing smart tourism virtual reality start from data collection, processing, product development, and product results carried out by partners. This community service activity results in a virtual reality-based Tengger Heritage Journey as a promotional medium for Sanja Tosari Village. With this community service activity, the management of the tourist village has the experience and ability to develop and utilize virtual reality in tourism activities.

Abstract

Neck pain is one of the musculoskeletal complaints that people often complain about. Unergonomic working posture is a risk factor that can cause neck pain. For tempe chips workers, unnatural working postures are carried out for long periods of time and in repetitive movements. The aim of this activity is to provide insight and preventative efforts to prevent neck pain in the Sanan tempe chips worker community. The method for carrying out activities is educational outreach regarding good working positions and ergonomics. Also provides preventive management and reduces complaints of neck pain. The results of the activity showed that after being given education, there was an increase in insight into and knowledge of the Sanan tempeh chips workers. This increases workers' awareness of the importance of adopting ergonomic working positions to prevent neck pain. Continuous preventive and curative activities still need to be carried out to reduce the incidence of neck pain in the Sanan tempeh chip worker community.

Abstract

Community Service through the KKN-T program aims to help develop the UMKM ChaCha Kitchen in Karangsari Village, Sukorejo District, Blitar City. The problem that occurs with UMKM ChaCha Kitchen is a lack of understanding in promoting their products with digital marketing. The method used is by identifying problems, assisting product promotions with digital marketing as a marketing strategy, and organizing socialization related to digital marketing. The results of this activity are in the form of creating content on ChaCha Kitchen's Instagram social media account, creating a website as a marketing support, and teaching product photos for content needs. The website contains information related to the business profile and products of UMKM ChaCha Kitchen. Product promotion with digital marketing as a marketing strategy for UMKM ChaCha Kitchen is able to improve the quality of content publication so that it can increase product sales.
