Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis sumber-sumber risiko dalam budidaya krisan, menganalisis agen risiko prioritas dalam budidaya krisan, dan menganalisis penerapan strategi mitigasi risiko untuk produksi krisan. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan Maret – April 2022. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan metode sensus. Data primer dan sekunder diperoleh dengan cara observasi dan wawancara langsung. Data dianalisis menggunakan metode FMEA dan HoR. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat 3 agen risiko prioritas yaitu bunga dan pohon terserang hama dan penyakit, peningkatan serangan hama dan penyakit, perubahan cuaca yang ekstrim/tidak menentu dengan nilai ARP berturut-turut sebesar 1268,10, 971,06, dan 690,66. Ada 3 strategi penanganan (mitigasi), yaitu penerapan sanitasi rumah kaca dan penyemprotan teratur, peningkatan dosis pestisida dan fungisida, mengikuti perkembangan cuaca dan menyiapkan mitigasi dengan nilai ETD berturut-turut sebesar 73.256,80, 62.993,00, 39.856,50 .

Abstract

The objectives of the study of land degradation status for biomass production are: (1) to collect data and information on initial soil conditions on land use for biomass production; (2) to determine land damage status for biomass production on land use for biomass production; and (3) mapping the status of land damage in Marangkayu sub-District, Kutai Kartanegara Regency.The research was carried out for 4 months, the research location was in Semangkok and Sebuntal Villages, Marang Kayu sub District, Kutai Kartanegara Regency. Research activities carried out include: preparation, field observations, soil sampling, soil sample preparation, soil analysis in the laboratory, data processing, and interpretation, and reporting. The results showed that: (1) Land with undamaged status was found in wetlands at Semangkok 4 location; (2) Dry land with mild damage status occurred at Semangkok 5, Semangkok 6, Sebuntal 5, and Sebuntal 6 locations, while wetlands with mild damage status occurred at Semangkok 1, Semangkok 2, Semangkok 3, Sebuntal 1 and Sebuntal 2 locations; (3) Wetlands with moderate damage occurred at Sebuntal 3 and Sebuntal 4 locations, not dry lands with moderate and heavy damage; and (4) Land damage for biomass production mostly occurs in dry land caused by damage to the basic properties of the soil which includes soil erosion, fraction composition, and soil pH, while in wetlands that are damaged with damaged soil properties are soil pH. and the depth of the pyrite layer.

Abstract

Corn is the second food ingredient after rice, so its existence must be considered. One of the areas that cultivate corn as a livelihood is Puundoho Village. The purpose of this study was to analyze the potential and economic feasibility of corn cultivation in Puundoho Village, North Kolaka Regency. The results of this study are expected to contribute as a source of information, and also as consideration for determining the direction of the corn cultivation business in the region. The method of determining the location is done by purposive sampling. The variables studied were the potential and economic feasibility of corn cultivation in Puundoho Village. Determination of the sample is done through simple random sampling, to obtain 15 respondents. The data used are primary data obtained through observation and interviews. Data analysis was carried out by looking at revenue (TR: Q x P), income (I: TR-TC), and feasibility (R/C). The results showed that the income of corn cultivation farmers in Puundoho Village was 11,400,000, income was 8,070,000 and the R/C ratio was 3.4. This means that the corn cultivation business in the research location has economic potential and is feasible.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the quality and chemical composition of corn straw silage with the addition of various silage additives. The study used a completely randomized design consisting of 4 treatments, namely P1 (corn straw + 10% rice bran), P2 (corn straw + EM4 10%), P3 (corn straw + 10% milled corn), and P4 (corn straw + tapioca flour 10%). Parameters observed are physical quality, fermentative quality, and chemical composition of corn straw silage. The results showed that the physical qualities of all treatments gave the same results. The pH and Fleigh Scores of all treatments show no significant difference (P>0.05). The content of DM, OM, and CP from  all treatments show no significant difference (P>0.05),while the CF show a significant difference (P<0.05). From the results of this study, it is concluded that the addition of EM4 as a silage additive gave the best results on corn straw silage.

Abstract

Liquid organic fertilizer is one type of organic fertilizer that utilizes organic materials such as plant residues or animal waste that have been decomposed by microbiological activity and will produce nutrients. Sources of organic matter that can be used as liquid organic fertilizer is plant litter. This study aims to determine the content of liquid organic fertilizer based on api-api plant litter (Avicennia marina (Forsk.) Vierh.) and ketapang (Terminalia catappa Linn.). Liquid organic fertilizer in this study was carried out by chopping the litter into small pieces then given a solution of EM4 and granulated sugar and then stirred to make it homogeneous and put in a closed container for 14 days. This study uses descriptive analysis, which compares data from liquid organic fertilizer based on api-api litter contains nutrients with liquid organic fertilizer based on ketapang litter contains nutrients. The results show that liquid organic fertilizer based on api-api litter contains nutrients, namely 0.10% C-organic, N-total 0 .4%, NPK 0.11%, Calcium (Ca) 26.85% and Magnesium (Mg) 0.03%. Liquid organic fertilizer based on ketapang litter contains nutrients, namely C-organic 6.20%, N-total 0.19%, NPK 2.22%, Ca 35.83% and Mg 0.53%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi pengaruh konsentrasi Atonik terhadap pertumbuhan rumput Benggala (Panicum maximum Jacq) yang dibudidayakan dengan stek batang. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Rumah Kaca Laboratorium Peternakan dan Budidaya Hijauan, Fakultas Peternakan Universitas Jambi. Rancangan percobaan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 5 perlakuan dan 6 ulangan. Perlakuan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah P0 = 0% Konsentrasi Atonik; P1 = Konsentrasi atonik 0,25%; P2 = 0,50% Konsentrasi Atonik; P3 = Konsentrasi Atonik 0,75% dan P4 = Konsentrasi Atonik 1%. Data yang diamati dalam penelitian ini adalah pertama kali bertunas, jumlah anakan, jumlah daun, tinggi tanaman, berat kering akar, dan berat kering tajuk. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis varians (ANOVA) dan dilanjutkan dengan Uji Jarak Berganda Duncan (DMRT). Hasil analisis ragam menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan atonik tidak berpengaruh nyata (P>0,05) terhadap jumlah anakan, berat kering akar, dan berat kering tajuk rumput Benggala. Namun berpengaruh nyata (P<0,05) pada hari pertama bertunas, jumlah daun dan tinggi tanaman. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemberian atonik dengan konsentrasi 0,50% mampu meningkatkan pertumbuhan munculnya tunas pertama, jumlah daun dan tinggi tanaman rumput Benggala (Panicum maximum Jacq)

Abstract

One of the reasons for the low productivity of corn is the low adoption of technology in corn cultivation. The objectives of this study were to: (1) determine the innovation components of GAP in hybrid corn cultivation, (2) identify the diversity of adoption of technology components in GAP of corn carried out by farmers, and (3) identify the characteristics of farmers that correlate with the adoption of GAP in hybrid corn. The method used in this study is a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods (mixed method), with a sequential exploratory model design. This research was conducted in Pilolaheya Village, Bone Bolango Regency, Gorontalo Province, with 60 corn farmers as respondents. The results showed that there were ten components in GAP corn cultivation that could increase maize productivity by farmers in Pilolaheya Village. Among these components, harvesting on time, drying immediately after harvest, and pests and diseases control in corn plants are the components with the highest adoption rate, and the components of planting one seed per one hole, using organic fertilizer, and piling up corn roots are components with the lowest adoption rate. The characteristic that correlates with farmer adoption is the level of education, where farmers who attained a higher level of education tend to adopt the innovation component in the GAP of corn cultivation.

Abstract

Depok Village, Kandeman District, Batang Regency, is one of the centers for white jasmine flower production. White jasmine flower productivity is inseparable from production risk. The purpose of this study was to identify the source of risk and determine the magnitude of the risk of white jasmine flower production. The research method used is qualitative, with 1 key informant and 3 participants for the first purpose, and quantitative, with 17 samples using the standard deviation calculation method and the coefficient of variation. The results sources of production risk are pests and diseases, labor, and weather. The risk of white jasmine flower production has a standard deviation of 138.255 and is still profitable because the CV value is 49% or CV <0.5 and L 2.93 or L> 0. Future research can analyze the impact of risks and production risk management strategies of jasmine flower white.

Abstract

The aims of the research on technical and financial analysis of the business of making "Kopi Aranio" powder coffee are: (1) to know the technical implementation of powder coffee processing, and (2) to know the profit in powder coffee business activities. The research was conducted for 3 months, the research location was in Aranio Village, Aranio District, Banjar Regency. Research activities implemented include preparation, field observations, data collection, data analysis, and reporting. The results showed that: (1) technically the coffee-making business in Aranio Village, Aranio District, Banjar Regency was good, but it could not be separated from natural obstacles such as floods, rains and so on which hampered coffee marketing; and (2) it is known that the total revenue is Rp. 17,100,000, - while the total cost is Rp. 12.196.986,5, it can be seen that the amount of profit is Rp. 4.903.013,5/month

Abstract

It is hoped that mycorrhiza will increase plant P uptake, and the degree of infection (%) of roots in ultisol soil and the application of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi to various animal feeds is to determine the effect of mycorrhizal and phosphorus (P) uptake on plants so that the degree of mycorrhizal and phosphorus (P) absorption by plants is affected. . This research was conducted from March 2022 to October 2022 on the land of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Community Development. This design uses a completely randomized design consisting of two factors. The first factor was the type of grass used consisting of Paspalum guenarum (P1), Paspalum notatum (P2), Brachiaria ruziziensis (P3), Brachiaria humidicola (P4), and Panicum maximum (P5). The second factor was the microsphere level which consisted of 0 gr (M0), 10gr (M1), 20gr (M2) and 30gr (M3). Research Results Mycorrhiza increased plant P uptake, and root infection degree (%) in ultisol soil Arbuscular mycorrhizall Fungi (MVA) administration at a dose of 30 g/polybag showed the best results in response to root infection degree a plant phosphorusrus uptake
