Abstract

Ecovillage adalah program pemerintah sebagai upaya mengembangkan desa berbudaya lingkungan. Program ini bertujuan untuk menciptakan masyarakat yang ramah lingkungan yang berkelanjutan, cerdas secara ekologis, gotong royong, dan masyarakat yang mandiri. Ecovillage berkontribusi pada masyarakat dalam memahami, menganalisis, dan menemukan solusi kreatif untuk pemecahan masalah diri. Objek studi ini dilakukan pada masyarakat di sekitar Sungai Citanduy, Ciamis, Jawa Barat, Indonesia, yang merupakan anggota dari program ecovillage. Teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan bola salju dengan mengambil pertimbangan dari ketua informan kunci ecovillage. Analisis dilakukan secara deskriptif dengan melakukan analisis triangulasi data hasil lapangan. Program ecovillage memiliki dampak positif pada masyarakat; meningkatnya kesadaran akan pelestarian lingkungan, pengembangan kecerdasan ekologis, pola pemanfaatan sumber daya yang berkelanjutan, peningkatan kreativitas masyarakat, dan disiplin dalam mengelola lingkungan yang berkelanjutan. Pemanfaatan lingkungan sebagai sumber belajar khususnya lingkungan Daerah Aliran Sungai Citanduy dapat dikembangkan untuk meningkatkan ecoliteracy siswa. Beberapa hal yang dapat dikembangkan yaitu aspek pengetahuan (head/cognitive), aspek kesadaran (hear/emotional), aspek keaktifan (hands/active), dan aspek semangat (connectional)

Abstract

This research is aimed to describe the mathematical problem solving abilities with Polya steps to the high school student grade XI based on Honey-Mumford’s learning style. This research was qualitative research with descriptive method. Questionnaires, mathematical problem solving ability test, and interview were used as data collection techniques. The research instruments that used here were researcher, Honey-Mumford model learning style questionnaires (LSQ questionnaire), questions for mathematical problem solving ability test, and interview guidelines. The source of the data for this research were students of class XI IPA at SMA Muhamadiyah Singaparna in the academic year 2018/2019. Data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing were used as the data analysis techniques. The results showed that students with activist learning style were able to take steps to understanding the problem, devising a plan, carring out the plan, and then looking back for the question number 1. Meanwhile, Students with reflector learning style were able to take steps to understanding the problem, devising a plan, carring out the plan, and then looking back for the question number 1, and also able to take steps to understanding the problem and carring out the plan for the steps in mathematical problem solving abilities for question number 2. In the other side, students with pragmatic type of learning style were able to take steps to understanding the problem, devising a plan, carring out the plan, looking back for the question number 1, and then carry out the solution plan for question number 2. Other than that, students with theorist learning style were able to take steps to understanding the problem, devising a plan, carring out the plan, and then looking back for the question number 1

Abstract

Learning autonomy offers a lot contribution to students’ successful learning since it is the ability of learners to take control of their learning goal and management. One of this characteristics influences how students set their learning management based on what they are interested in. This situation builds creative atmosphere since students set their goal, management, style, and preferences. In writing a story, students need creativity to make an interesting story. Therefore, this study distinguishes a student gaining the best story in children’s literature class. It is specifically aimed at investigating how autonomous the student is so that it came to her creativity in creating the story. The data are collected from documentation, student’s reflective journals, and also some interviews.  The method of this study is narrative inquiry while thematic analysis is used for analyzing the data. The result shows that the student becomes autonomy by having these characteristics; (1) having learning management, (2) Intrinsically motivated, (3) Knowing personal strength and weakness. Those characteristics have important role in bringing the student to be successful learner

Abstract

Mata pelajaran geografi memerlukan tingkat kreativitas dan aktivitas siswa, yang tinggi baik kegiatan di dalam ruangan (kelas, laboratorium, perpustakaan) maupun lewat pengalaman langsung dilapangan. Seharusnya sekolah memanfaatkan lingkungan lokal sebagai sumber belajar. Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan penelitian secara eksperimen. Sampel responden dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa sebanyak 2 kelas yaitu kelas XII IPS 2 dan kelas XII IPS 2.  Pembelajaran dengan menggunakan media drone pada materi penginderaan jauh ini membantu pemahaman siswa terhadap materi penginderaan jauh khususnya pada citra foto udara. Penggunaan metode demonstrasi di SMAN 9 Kota Tasikmalaya dapat membuat  perhatian siswa lebih mudah dipusatkan pada proses pembelajaran dan tidak tertuju pada hal-hal yang lain dan siswa juga dapat menguruangi kesalahan dalam mengambil kesimpulan di kelas  yang hanya belajar dari membaca buku saja dan pemberian materi di kelas dari guru

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to know the effort of school to cooperate with parents, form of cooperation between school with parents of student barrier in cooperation and effort of school overcome barrier in cooperation. The research method used is descriptive research and quantitative data analysis of data collection using survey research method. The subject matter of this research is the involvement of parents and the school in education. The results revealed not all parents can be automatically involved in school. Therefore, the school should take steps or initiatives to seek cooperation with parents to achieve the goal of child education which are: Climate quality of school cooperation with the community, parent willingness to get involved, Form of cooperation between schools and parents. Cooperation is important in order to continuous process in stimulating the development of children either from school to home or vice versa, it is done school efforts to cooperate with parents, that is creating a comfortable school climate, making initial communication with parents, and providing opportunities for parents to be involved, between parent school, communication, volunteer, parent involvement in child study at home, and collaboration with community group. Obstacles in cooperation between school and parents are differentiated into two factors: internal and external factors. Internal factors include teacher beliefs, teacher's views on parents, and teacher constraints. External factors include parental views, life demands, and parental attitudes. School efforts to overcome barriers in cooperation with parents is to find a variety of communication methods and find the right time for parents to be present in school events

Abstract

Kecamatan Cihideung Kota Tasikmalaya merupakan pusat kota dengan pemukiman yang padat, area perdagangan dan jasa serta perkantoran yang membutuhkan ruang terbuka hijau sebagai fungsi ekologis, fungsi sosial, dan rekreasi. Partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengelolaan ruang terbuka hijau publik di Kecamatan Cihideung Kota Tasikmalaya diharapkan dapat mewujudkan keinginan bersama untuk menjaga, merawat dan memanfaatkan ruang terbuka hijau di pusat kota sebagai daerah penyeimbang ekosistem di kawasan perkotaan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, kuesioner, studi literatur dan studi dokumentasi. Pengambilan sampel dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik random sampling dengan jumlah sampel 35 responden dan teknik purposive sampling untuk 6 responden. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa karakteristik sebaran ruang terbuka hijau publik di Kecamatan Cihideung Kota Tasikmalaya. Masyarakat menyadari tentang pentingnya ruang terbuka hijau di pusat kota akan tetapi partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengelolaan ruang terbuka hijau publik di Kecamatan Cihideung Kota Tasikmalaya sangat rendah dikarenakan anggapan hal tersebut merupakan wewenang dari pemerintah sepenuhnya

Abstract

The literacy ability of the Indonesian nation is still not in line with expectations. One solution to the problem is to integrate literacy in learning, especially presentation learning. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to describe the integration of literacy in the presentation of learning to students in universities. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The form of integrating literacy in presentation learning is by using an eclectic type of literacy (early literacy, basic literacy, library literacy, media literacy, technology literacy, or visual literacy) according to the needs at each stage of speaking, either at (1) pre-speaking stage, (2) speaking stage, and (3) post-speaking stage. Implementation of learning is done cooperatively student and stdent, collaboratively between student, lecturer, and instructor and interaction between student, lecturer, instructor, and learning materials. Thus, this strategy is expected to build a multiliterat and multicompetence students.

Abstract

The problem of ICT learning in SMAN 1 Bantarujeg, Majalengka Regency is the low student achievement because the teacher still uses the conventional method, the lecture method. This research is a class action research. The research took place in 2 cycles consisting of 4 meetings. This study consists of 4 stages, namely planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection uses observation sheets and tests. The results showed that the use of video tutorial media in ICT learning in class XII students. IPS-1 in SMAN 1 Bantarujeg, Majalengka Regency can improve student learning achievement. This increase can be seen from the end of the cycle test results. In cycle 1 the value of students who achieved completeness was 18 students or around 75%, then in cycle 2 it reached 22 students or around 91.66%. Thus, student achievement has exceeded the criteria for the success of actions that have been set at 70%

Abstract

Digitalization is the main characteristic of 21st century, today is knowns as information society. Distribution of information more rapidly and affecting social life, it also affects education system. Digitalization of Education growth rapidly, and it does affect student as well. This research applied survey research method with design that used cross-sectional studies, the population are student of SMA Negeri 2 Tasikmalaya school year of 2018th/2019th, sampling with cluster random sampling. Data collection through questionnaire, unstructured interview and observation, validity checking with method triangulation and data analyzing with descriptive analyzing. The result is, student being addicted with technology proved by the uses of smartphone is in high percentage and the duration of smartphone uses is also high it makes student being familiar with digital world. Meanwhile if it’s being correlated with education needed, the student lack of understanding with the beneficial of technology in education as well as learning. In fact, student being skeptic and not welcoming digitalization in learning. To build positive paradigms digital learning in student, teacher must have selected with using learning application and controlling the process of learning to prevent the unwanted things

Abstract

Each student has their own way of receiving and processing information or it called a learning style. Learning style is an important learning modality for educators to consider in learning, because the fact is that not all students achieve the same learning goals. This study aims to determine the comparison of visual, auditory and kinesthetic learning styles to the science process skills in 10th grade of state high school 1 Sukahaji. This research is a quantitative study with pre-experimental research design in the from of one-group pretest-posttest design. The study population was the entire 10th grade of public high school 1 Sukahaji 2018/2019 school year. Samples were taken by purposive sampling technique. Data obtained through cognitive aspects of science process skills test. Hypothesis testing using the ANOVA test, then further tests using the Tukey test. The results of the study generally showed that there were differences in the science process skills of students who tended towards visual, auditory and kinesthetic learning styles with a pretest significance value of science process skills by 0,04 and a significance value of the posttest of science process skills by 0,02. Based on this it can be concluded that there are differences in the science process skills of students based on their learning styles, in this study kinesthetic learning styles are more dominant than visual learning styles and auditory learning styles
