It involved 303 Postgraduate Program students chosen using a simple random sampling technique. In terms of methodology, this study used a cross-sectional survey technique. Once the data were obtained, the researchers used descriptive statistics techniques and one-way ANOVA analysis to compare student satisfaction with the quality of UNNES Postgraduate Program academic services in terms of particular ethnography. The research findings show that out of 303 respondents, 71% are at an excellent level of satisfaction, and 22.4% is at a good level of satisfaction, 5% respondents are at a moderate level, 1% are at an alarming level, and 0.7% are at a terrible grade. The services given through SIKADU (UNNES integrated educational system), administrative staff, library, lectures, integrated service unit, workshop and seminars, and telegram gained excellent criterion by the students with a percentage of 71%. Abstract

A diagnostic test of critical thinking ability is a method to reveal the location of students' weaknesses and strengths in critical thinking skills, especially in physics subjects. This study aims to develop a diagnostic test of quality critical thinking skills in physics subjects regarding validity and reliability and the quality of items in diagnosing students' critical thinking skills. This research is development research whose development procedure uses a combination of the Ministry of National Education development model (2007) with the test development procedure from Mardapi (2017), which consists of 11 steps, namely: (1) identifying essential competencies that have not been completed, (2) determining possible root causes of problems, (3) developing test specifications, (4) writing tests, (5) assessing tests by experts, (6) conducting test trials, (7) analyzing the quality of test items, (8) ) improving tests, ( 9) assembling test, (10) conducting the test, (11) interpreting the test result. The subjects of this study were MAN students in the city of Yogyakarta. Data were analyzed by CVR, EFA, and PCM tests. The results showed that the diagnostic test model for critical thinking skills was valid, reliable, and had good item quality in diagnosing students' critical thinking skills. The diagnostic test results show that MAN students' critical thinking ability in the city of Yogyakarta in physics subjects is more dominant in the low category with a percentage of 35.30%. As a result of knowing the description of students' critical thinking weaknesses, the findings of this study can be used as a reference, particularly for physics teachers, to improve the quality of physics learning.

Abstract

Research on anger management has been widely carried out, especially in Indonesia, so it is necessary to re-evaluate the psychometric characteristics of the anger management scale made by researchers using the Rasch model method. This study aims to analyze the psychometric characteristics of the anger management scale which is used to measure students' ability to manage anger emotions using the Rasch model approach. Respondents in this study were 103 respondents consisting of 35 men and 68 women with an age range of 15-19 years. This study shows that the discriminatory power of items ranges from 0.57 to 0.72. This study also shows that there are three items that are invalid in terms of the validity of the content of the anger management scale, and are classified as valid in terms of construct validity and rating scales which indicate that the answer choices given are understandable and can be differentiated by research respondents. This study also shows that the overall anger management scale is relatively reliable (α = 0.89). Therefore, the anger management scale has good quality psychometric properties and is in accordance with the Rasch model.

Abstract

The advancements in science and technology in the 21st century have introduced new challenges in the educational landscape, specifically for teachers during the instructional process. Teachers are expected to provide learning experiences that can attract students' interest in learning. This study aims to describe the learning interest of VIII grade students in science learning media assisted by E-lKPD based on liveworksheet. This type of research is descriptive quantitative. The research sample used was class VIII junior high school students consisting of 20 students taken randomly. The instrument used is a non-test questionnaire of students' interest in learning which consists of 20 statements. The utilized methodology for data analysis involves quantitative descriptive analysis, a technique that provides a detailed summary of the data without running statistical inferences. The results of the analysis of students' learning interest using liveworksheet-based E-LKPD learning media on plant structure and function material based on five indicators of students' learning interest obtained an average of 81.12% with a very good category. The results showed that the response of learning interest of class VIII students on the material of plant structure and function assisted by science learning media assisted by E-LKPD based on liveworksheet received a positive response from students and could increase students' learning interest. The findings of this research are intended to serve as a valuable resource and supplementary learning tool for educators in facilitating interactive learning experiences.

Abstract

Misconceptions in assessment can lead to low quality of education. Previous research revealed that the misconceptions experienced by teachers, schools and parents in implementing the National Assessment policy had different impacts. This study aims to describe teachers' understanding of the Minimum Competency Assessment and its impact on assessments conducted in class. The data collection technique used a semi-structured interview method with seven MTs Muhammadiyah PPTQ Ahmad Dahlan teachers. The results of the study reveal that the teacher's understanding of the Minimum Competency Assessment is divided into translation, interpretation and extrapolation understanding. In addition, the assessment carried out in class by informants with an understanding of translation has not changed after the implementation of the Minimum Competency Assessment policy. Informants with an understanding of interpretation changed their assessments, while informants with an understanding of extrapolation felt there was no need to change the assessments carried out in class because they wanted to provide an overview of the actual abilities of students.

Abstract

Learning requires an assessment tool as a standard guideline for assessing student performance. This study aims to develop a set of assessments and knowing the eligibility of assessment in the Individual Fashion Production Course. Development models that adopt 4D procedures are: define, design, develop, and disseminate. Data collection techniques with focus group discussions, observations and interviews. The results of the validity of the contents of the instrument items show that 21 items are valid, of which 18 question items (86%) are included in the very valid criteria (high validity) and 3 question items (14%) are of medium validity. The results of the Kappa analysis showed that the reliability coefficient of the instrument was 0.782. The result of the data acquisition is descriptively obtained the value X = 94, it can be categorized as "Very Feasible". These results shows that the assessment instrument for the Individual Fashion Production course can be used as a tool to measure student competence, thus the individual clothing production assessment instrument can be used as a guide in conducting an assessment.

Abstract

Reasoning is one of the important skills that should be mastered especially for vocational school students. Vocational school students are prepared to be worked ready, so they should have a clear reasoning. Reasoning that uses language as the main tool is called verbal reasoning. This study aimed to analyze the validity and reliability of the development of verbal reasoning assessment instrument. Quantitative was used as the method of study. 5 validators and 249 eleventh-grade students were involved as the research subjects. A verbal reasoning assessment instrument was shared with the students for the data collection. The technique of analysis used was content validity using Aiken’s V, construct validity using EFA and CFA, and reliability using KR-20. The results showed that content validity was validly stated by the mean of V value obtained was 0.853. EFA showed that the data was unidimensional. CFA indicated that the single-order model was supported by the data. Reliability indicated that the verbal reasoning assessment instrument was reliable by the ri obtained was 0.881 for the small scale and 0.822 for the large scale. Therefore, the verbal reasoning assessment instrument developed was valid and reliable. The teachers can use verbal reasoning assessment instrument to measure or evaluate students’ verbal reasoning in English subjects. Other than that, validity and reliability are the important parts in developing an instrument so this research may be used as a reference or information.
