Abstract

This study looks at the Informal Reasoning profiles of state high school students in the Demak Regency. Informal Reasoning is a type of thinking used by students in considering socio-scientific issues, which involves considering causation, pros and cons, and alternatives. The research was conducted at 10 state high schools in Demak Regency using the Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling method. The research data was obtained through tests in the form of multiple-choice questions and essays that tested students' mastery of Informal Reasoning regarding issues such as HIV-AIDS, GMOs, and cloning. The results showed the rational pattern with a percentage of 48.40%, the emotive pattern was 27.46%, and the lowest pattern is in the intuitive pattern with a percentage of 24.24%. Among the several factors that influence reasoning include personal experience, social considerations, which can come from educational, economic, or religious aspects, moral-ethical considerations, and their attention to technological developments as they are involved in social and technological issues, seen to be influential.

Abstract

This study aims to obtain a clear and detailed description of the planning for the Implementation of the Independent Curriculum in Islamic Religious Education Subjects and Characteristics, the Steps for Learning Islamic Religious Education and Specificities Based on the Independent Curriculum, and the Constraints faced by teachers of Islamic Religious Education and Distinctiveness in implementing an independent curriculum and its solutions. This study uses qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data collection procedures include observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. Researchers interviewed the Principal of SMA Negeri 1 Kelam Permai, the Deputy Head of the School for Curriculum, Teachers of Islamic Religious Education and Characteristics, and representatives of Muslim students in Class X and Class XI directly. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman model with four stages: data collection, reduction, display, and verification. Data validity uses three criteria: triangulation, member checks, and increased persistence. The results of the study stated that the independent curriculum implementation plan carried out by SMA Negeri 1 Kelam Permai was good by collaborating involving various competent parties by maximizing the school's potential and resources, the learning steps carried out by teachers of religion and Islamic morals were perfect and systematically, starting from analyzing learning outcomes, and the obstacles faced by Islamic religious and moral education teachers who are less active in participating in the learning process in class, textbooks that do not meet quotas, the difficulty of controlling students in using mobile phones to support the learning process, the teacher's lack of understanding of the curriculum independent, challenges in designing differentiated learning and difficulties in making teaching modules that suit the abilities and interests of students

Abstract

This research aims to determine the planning, implementation, and supporting factors in teaching Islamic Religious Education based on gender at SMP Plus Al Fatimah Bojonegoro. The research method used a Descriptive Qualitative approach. The findings of the research are as follows: 1) The implementation planning in teaching at SMP Al Fatimah Bojonegoro consists of (a) Analysis of PAI Learning Objectives, (b) Analysis of PAI Educators, (c) Analysis of PAI Students, (d) Analysis of PAI Teaching Materials, and (e) Analysis of Learning Strategies. 2) The implementation of Islamic Religious Education at SMP Plus Al Fatimah Bojonegoro follows the Islamic Religious Education System according to the curriculum set by the Ministry of Education and Culture (Kemdikbud) and the Ministry of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia (Kemenag RI). It adjusts the learning materials to the student’s potential, including cognitive, psychomotor, and affective abilities. 3) The supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of Islamic Religious Education based on gender at SMP Plus Al Fatimah Bojonegoro are both internal factors (within the students themselves) and external factors (external to the students).

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the integration of Islamic education and Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) in Purwokerto. The background highlights the significance of Islamic education in promoting values aligned with the SDGs, while also addressing the challenges of conservative interpretations and the need for inclusive approaches. The research aims to analyze the role of the Faculty of Education and Teacher Training in implementing SDGs through its curriculum, research activities, and community engagement. The findings reveal that the integration of Islamic education and SDGs in Purwokerto can foster a comprehensive approach to sustainable development, promoting environmental stewardship, social justice, and economic equity. The discussion emphasizes the importance of inclusive interpretations, curriculum development, and partnerships with various stakeholders. In conclusion, the study emphasizes the potential of Islamic education as a transformative force in achieving the SDGs in Purwokerto, while calling for ongoing efforts to address challenges and maximize the positive impact of integration.

Abstract

This study examines the acceptance and readiness of PAI (Islamic Education) teachers towards the implementation of Curriculum 2013. The objective is to assess their acceptance of the curriculum, readiness to implement the scientific approach and authentic assessment, and their paradigm shift in education. Surveys were conducted to collect data, which was analyzed using mean scores. The findings reveal that PAI teachers in primary schools and Islamic schools have a positive attitude towards Curriculum 2013 and are ready to implement it. They also demonstrate an understanding of the scientific approach and authentic assessment. The results indicate the dedication and adaptability of PAI teachers in meeting the changing demands of education. Their paradigm shift aligns with the goals of Curriculum 2013, highlighting their commitment to delivering high-quality Islamic education. These findings have important implications for educational stakeholders in supporting and empowering PAI teachers, emphasizing the need for continuous professional development. Overall, the study showcases the positive disposition and preparedness of PAI teachers in embracing the changes brought by Curriculum 2013, ensuring effective teaching and learning experiences for students.

Abstract

The background of this research is the teacher's efforts related to how a teacher is able to understand and determine the boundaries that must be carried out by a teacher in organizing material, interacting, and carrying out learning processes for students of SDN 09 Nanga Sayan. This is good, marked by enthusiastic participation direct learning, asking questions and answering teacher questions, and paying attention to the teacher during learning. This is what makes researchers interested in conducting more in-depth research. This research is focused on (1) How are the Efforts of Islamic Religious Education Teachers and Characteristics in Students of SDN 09 Nanga Sayan for the 2022/2023 Academic Year? (2) How is the Ability to Read the Qur'an in Students of SDN 09 Nanga Sayan for the 2022/2023 Academic Year? (3) What are the Efforts of Islamic Religious Education and Character Education Teachers in Improving the Ability to Read the Qur'an in Students of SDN 09 Nanga Sayan for the 2022/2023 Academic Year?This research is a type of descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data collection procedures carried out are using observation techniques, interviews, and documentation. Researcher interviews were conducted with ethics subject teachers.Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded as follows: (1) The efforts of Islamic Religious Education and Characteristics Teachers to instill a sense of enthusiasm and also provide motivation in various ways, moreover teaching children who are just learning to read the Qur'an is something that is certain. not easy. Abstract

The problem is that students and teachers have difficulty implementing multicultural education because they come from different cultural backgrounds from the provinces in Indonesia. Different languages and cultures are also daily habits. Haven't mastered the technology yet. computer. LCD and English and Arabic. Haven't memorized the Quran yet. The aim of the research is to find out the basic concept of multicultural education at As Syafi'yah Sukabumi High School, West Java. The methodology used is qualitative research. The results of the research are presented in a narrative, not statistical way. Data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis through data collection, then consulted with experts, concluded. . Research result the basic concept of multicultural education at SMA As Syafi'iyah Sukabumi West Java has been well implemented in accordance with the 45 Constitution and the 2013 Curriculum. Using the habituation and suritel methods and students are used to respecting others, respecting each other and preparing themselves for the future as human beings who must master science and technology. Able to use English and Arabic actively and passively, memorizing the Koran is a top program in schools. Multicultural applies mutual respect and respect for differences in language, ethnicity, culture, background.

Abstract

Public understanding of radicalism seems to be different. For many people, radicalism has even become a sensitive issue and is sometimes reluctant to be discussed. The assumption that educational institutions are not immune to the influence of radical ideologies is reinforced by several research results. Meanwhile, students do not get an optimal understanding of religion through Islamic Religious Education (PAI) because of the lack of reading material for PAI subject matter with content that can strengthen national character and values ​​in addition to monotonous and unvaried teaching methods that make students less attention to PAI teaching. This study wants to see a picture of students' understanding of radicalism. The research was conducted with a qualitative approach. The results showed that the average respondent could not distinguish what was radical and what was radicalism. Some respondents disagreed with the notion that Islam was related to radicalism and respondents understood that radicalism was different or had nothing to do with the Caliphate state.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of Islamic religious education teachers in improving students' Islamic character and behavior at SMP Muhammadiyah 10 Surakarta. Through field research methods (field research), the author collected data through observation, interviews, and documentation at SMP Muhammadiyah 10 Surakarta. The results of interviews with Islamic religious education teachers show that character education based on PAI in this school is implemented holistically and involves all teachers. In addition to moral aqeedah lessons, character education is also carried out through the application of values in everyday life. Teachers use planned learning strategies and facilitated infrastructure to support student character education. Students exhibit good behavior in learning, and there is a relationship between good morals and good academic achievement. Even though there are some difficulties in implementing character education, such as the lack of support from students' parents, teachers still try to shape student character by relying on God for the results. In conclusion, Islamic religious education teachers at SMP Muhammadiyah 10 Surakarta have an important role in shaping students' Islamic character and behavior. Through the strategies and practices they employ, students can develop a better understanding of the Islamic religion and apply it in their daily lives.

Abstract

The background of the problem is that there are still many female students who do not wear the hijab. Due to economic factors the price of a hijab uniform is different from a non-hijab uniform, awareness of wearing the hijab has not arisen yet, they do not understand the obligations of mature women about wearing the hijab. Obligation to wear hijab for baligh women. The aim of the study was to find out the role of the PAI teacher in raising the awareness of SMA Negeri 3 Purwakarta students about the obligation to wear the hijab. Views of female students wearing hijab at school and outside school. Factors that influence female students to choose to wear the hijab or not to wear the hijab. The methodology used is qualitative. research results are presented in narrative form without using statistics. Data obtained through interviews, observation and documentation. Test the data through consultation with the lecturer/expert team. to the head of SMAN 3 Purwakarta and the PAI teacher. Perseverance is carried out while in the field. when in the field and discussions with colleagues. (data triangulation). The results of the research on the role of the PAI teacher in increasing the awareness of female students wearing the hijab through PAI lessons, IRMA recitations. OSIS and Liko studies/additional study. Study verses of the Koran and Hadith while wearing a hijab. The opinion of the students that the role of the PAI teacher is very important. there are still students who open the hijab when they come home from school or outside of school, still like fashion, follow friends' dress styles, and are not consistent yet. motivation to istiqomah wearing hijab at school and outside of school. Raise awareness of wearing hijab because of Allah, from the conscience of female students. aware of the obligation because of the commands of Allah and the Prophet.
