Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the application of the qowa'id wa tarjamah method with card sort strategy in improving the shorof ability of the 9th grade student’s at Madinah Modern Boarding School . This research is a Classroom Action Research study. It is the research which oriented to solving the problems that occurred in the classroom by improving the learning process in accordance with the expected goals. Research analysis was conducted inductively. The research used qualitative research, the data in the form of verbal and analysed without using statistical techniques. This classroom action research consists of two cycles through four stages of the process as follows: 1) the planning stage, 2) the implementation stage, 3) the observation stage, and 3) the reflection stage. The application of the qowa’id wa tarjamah method with card sort strategy can improve shorof ability towards 9th grade student’s of the Madinah Modern Boarding School . Student’s are able to understand the material well and make sentences and are enthusiastic in participating in class teaching and learning activities. This can be proven by improving the shorof ability of the student’s in each cycle.

Abstract

Lately we have found many educational institutions in Indonesia give more attention to learning Arabic. TMI Al Amien Prenduan, one of the educational institutions that gives more attention to foreign languages, especially Arabic, is known by its motto "Arabic is the crown of the hut," in which there are elite language club that develop language skills, especially speaking skills in Arabic. This special language group has led many of the students to win in various regional, national and international language events. So it is necessary to study Arabic learning methods applied in the group to be used as an additional reference in developing Arabic language learning, specifically in improving Arabic speaking skills. This research aims to know the method of learning Arabic language that isused by elite language club in increase talking Arabic skill for it’s member, and how the way to aplicate that method and what are the lack and exess of using that method. The methodology of this research uses Qualitative – Descriptive approach. Based on the written shows that: the method that is done of elite language club in learning Arabic language is Mubasyaroh and At-Tahawuriyyah method, the application of this method is always practice speaking in Arabic, the lack of this method is lack attention to Nahwiyyah and Shorfiyyah principles in their arrangement talking, The exess of this method is pupil be able to speak Arabic language without afraid to mis – talking until gradually they be growing and their arrangement language will conform to principle language.

Abstract

Language is a tool of communication and Arabic has been used as this tool in the international conversation. Arabic is rapidly developing throughout the world and has been studied both formally and informally at educational institutions. Learning Arabic requires carefulness and seriousness since to the tool of science obtained in Arabic will not be easily understood in such a short time of learning. The holy book of Islam is the Qur'an written in Arabic. Therefore, who wants to understand Islam properly are strongly recommended to learn Arabic seriously as the least possible thing can he do. That is because by studying Arabic, he will be able to understand every meaning of Islamic teachings that contained in the holy Qur'an which has been written in Arabic. The Qur'an and hadith are the main sources of the implementation of Islamic teachings, Thus, if Muslims understand Arabic pretty well then understanding both the Qur'an and hadith will surely be easier and can also prevent them from misunderstanding or misinterpreting the content. Therefore, in Islamic education, Arabic education is very important to be taught. Arabic is not merely the language of Moslems but the language that Allah has choosen as the language of Qur'an. The urgency of learning Arabic is very important in Islamic education in order to be able to understand to the teachings contained in Islamic education.

Abstract

The Book of ‘Izah an-Nasyiin is a collection of writings written by one of the great Egyptian scholars, Mustafa al Ghulayaini, in the newspaper "al-Mufid". This book contains a variety of moral issues, social, nationalism, leadership, and education. This book is very well received and has a great influence on the hearts of readers. This book translated into Indonesian by M. Fadlil Said an-Nadwi. In reality, this translated book requires criticism. It must be known that criticism is not only limited to the search for deficiencies or mistakes but also gives high appreciation to translators, editors and, publishers. The purpose of this study is to describe grammatical problems in the translation work along with its solutive efforts. This translation critique research rests on Newmark translation theory, which is focus on the original language and focus on the transfer language. This is because the book of ‘Izah an-Nasyiin is more representative of the author's thoughts in ethics or morals delivered with literary expressions. In many cases, the researcher finds translation models that tend to be closer to the text and in other cases closer to the reader. The researcher focused on evaluating the work of translation in grammatical problems and solutive efforts. The results of this study are that the researcher found translation evaluations on three grammatical problems; tarkib isnadi or jumlah, tarkib bayani and tarkib idafi.

Abstract

تهدف هذه الكتابة إلى توفير حلول لتعلم العناصر العربية ، وخاصة على المستوى الابتدائي باعتبارها أساسًا مهمًا في مهارات اللغة العربية التي تحتوي على القليل من صياغة الإستراتيجية ووسائل الإعلام القائمة على التكنولوجيا التي تحتاج إلى تطوير. تستخدم هذه الكتابة مصادر الأدب المختلفة في إيجاد النظرية مثل البحث في التفكير التحليلي لاختيار الأساليب والاستراتيجية وإجراءات التعلم للعناصر العربية. يستخدم المؤلف أيضًا جهاز تطبيق الروبوت للبحث عن تطبيقات مناسبة للوسائط التعليمية. يتم تقديم الإستراتيجية من نظرية السلوكية بنهج شامل يحتاج إلى نشاط المعلم والطالب، بحيث يمكن أن ينتج طرقًا لعناصر اللغة العربية (أصوات، ومفردات، وتراكيب). التعليم مع إعطاء قواعد اللغة العربية للتدريبات ، المثال والتكرار ، والكثير من التمارين النموذجية واستخدام تطبيق الروبوت مناسب للمتعلمين باللغة العربية في المرحلة الابتدائية.

Abstract

This research is descriptive analysis, this study aims to propose methods of learning Al-adawatun Nahwiyah to the non-Arab students through the text in the book Bulugh al-Maram. The problem of this study is that most of the non-Arabic Arabic learners find it difficult to explain the meaning of Al-adawatun Nahwiyah, as well as its division, function of its position, its laws and their use. So this research is to provide the teaching of Al-Adawatun Nahwiyah for non-Arabic students through the hadiths contained in the book Bulughul maram and the function of Al-adawatun Nahwiyah, and this learning is expected to be able to provide solutions in understanding Arabic texts. And after the researcher analyzes this research, it can be concluded that understanding the aims of the words of the Arabs, because of the different types of writing, and the goals of the style of language from religious texts must know the meanings of Al-Adawatun Nahwiyah, because actually Al-Adawatun Nahwiyah is one of the most important parts of the Arabic language, because Al-Adawatun Nahwiyah has an accurate meaning and many uses.

Abstract

TMI Al-Amien Prenduan Islamic boarding school is one of the Islamic boarding schools in Madura that requires students and students to speak Arabic and English in their daily lives. However, researchers found that many regular class I students still did not master basic and easy Arabic vocabulary so researchers wanted to experiment with one of the learning media, Macromedia Flash 8, which might make it easy for them to master Arabic vocabulary. Indeed, the purpose of this study is to determine the effectiveness or use of macromedia flash 8 on mastery of Arabic vocabulary of students of the first year TMI Pi Al-Amien Prenduan Sumenep Madura and to find out how effective the use of the media is. This research is an experimental quantitative study, by taking data from students of the first year of TMI Pi Al-Amien Prenduan Sumenep Madura with a total sample of 65 from a population of 219 students. The collection of data using tests, namely pre-test and post-test and use documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study used the manual T test. From the results of the data analysis, it was concluded that the use of Macromedia Flash 8 was effective against the mastery of Arabic vocabulary of students of the first TMI Regular Pi Al-Amien Prenduan Sumenep Madura with a final value of 0.207> 0.126 with a significance value of 0.55.

Abstract

Declarative sentences, in addition to being used to convey news, are also functioned to ask questions; Interrogative sentences are not only used for asking questions but also for requests or orders. Meanwhile, the command sentence can only be used conventionally, and cannot be used unconventionally. If the three sentences are used conventionally, the speech is called a direct speech act, whereas if it is used unconventionally, it is called an indirect speech act. The use of indirect sentences has a purpose, among others, in order to maintain politeness. An order that is told by using a news sentence or question sentence will be perceived by the interlocutor as lighter, even for the interlocutor the command to himself is not felt as an order. In the Alquran there are many sentences that are used unconventionally, which shows that the Alquran is a holy book that upholds the politeness of language. One of them is surah al-Anbiya’. In the surah al-Anbiya’, several verses which are indirect speech are found. In the surah al-Anbiya’ the forms of indirect speech are as follows; Four declarative utterances with imperative meanings are in verses 39, 41, 45, and 47. Seventeen interrogative utterances have declarative meaning in verses 3, 6, 10, 21, 24, 30, 34, 36, 42, 43, 44, 50, 52, 55, 59, 66, and 67. Three meaningful interrogative speeches are found in verses 38, 80, and 108.

Abstract

Reading is a verbal linguistic skill, which includes the identification and understanding of printed symbols, and it is a complex process similar to all processes, requiring understanding, linking, and conclusion by communicating with readers. This article has four goals; to find the goals of reading education, to explain the two types of reading, to determine the assessment of reading skill, and to find the steps of teaching reading skills. This article used library research, the data in the form of literature and analysed without using statistical techniques. First, one of the goals of reading education is the ability of students to find new ideas and knowledge. Second, that there are two types of reading. The first type is silent reading, and the second type is aloud reading. Third, assessment of reading skill in a general characteristic consists of two aspects, namely pronunciation and comprehension. Fourth, the teaching of reading skills has the following steps: Providing readable texts for students to read in secret or in public, appropriate for the available study times. Dialog about the content of the read. When the teacher wanted to explain the rules, the teacher does the shortest explanation, because the focus in teaching reading is to provide read texts, and read them secretly or publicly. The teacher provides an explanation of difficult vocabulary, or problem terms in students. At the end of the meeting, the teacher gives assignments about the content of the reading, such as summarizing the material, assigning the subject, or other assignments.

Abstract

Du'a Poetry is one of the Poems written by Diaspora poets. One work that was born of four modern-century poets, Gibran Khalil Gibran, Mikhail Naimah, Fate of Aridhah and Abdul Masih Hadad. Du'a's poetry is the material object in this paper. Characteristics of Du'a Poetry which is a modern poetry of Mahjar (migrant) not only presents the beauty of its poetic structure and language, it also represents other characters of Mahjar's poetry such as the selection of romantic diction and the acculturation of two Eastern and Western cultures. Mahjar's poetry is also known for its uniqueness in loading philosophical and spiritualist thoughts. Its formal object is Riffaterre's Semiotics. This poem will be analyzed through reading heuristics or mimesis based on the meaning of the dictionary and hermeneutical or retroactive reading. Riffaterre's semiotics believes that in the form of textual poetry, there is a non-textual empty space which is the core of the poem called the hypogram. In the hypogram will be found the central meaning of poetry or matrix. The matrix of this poem is the nature of man in a philosophical perspective. Hypogramatically, this poem is based on the philosophical thought texts of spiritualism about humans. This is seen in the model of poetry, the first actualization of the matrix, in the form of one sentence أنا ما لي وللورى فارفعيني (What am I to myself and others, then lift me). In the end, Ana in poetry Dua transitioned to find a destination where she lived, then anchored on the throne of heaven, the throne of God.
