Abstract

In industrial sector activities, supply chain processes involve extracting and exploiting natural resources that may hurt the environment. Based on this, an approach to supply chains that is more environmentally friendly is needed. Green supply chain management (GSCM) integrates environmental thinking into supply chain management, including product design, material sourcing and selection, manufacturing processes, final delivery of products to consumers, and end-of-life management after the last utilization period. PT. Putra Multi Cipta Teknikindo is a company engaged in the trade of goods and services. Trade in goods and services includes batik stoves, small industrial production machines, industrial and laboratory scale measuring and detection equipment, and batik workshops. The purpose of this study is to measure the performance of GSCM in PT. PMC Teknikindo. This research is expected to provide information on the company's performance conditions in applying GSCM. The company is expected to be responsive to this performance measurement to increase the performance of related indicators so that there is continuous improvement. GSCM performance measurement uses the Plan, Do, Check, Action (PDCA) approach with Analytical Network Process (ANP), Objective Matrix (OMAX), and Traffic Light System (TSL) methods. The results of this study are the total KPI value of 4,867 which means the GSCM performance of PT. PMC Teknikindo has not reached the target. The results of the performance measurement indicators contained 26 KPIs in the yellow category, 5 KPIs in the red category, and 1 KPI in the green category. Based on these results, it is necessary to recommend improvements to related indicators to optimize achievement.

Abstract

Digital traceability is the use of electronic records and technology to track the forward movement of a product through various stages of the supply chain and to trace back the product history, including location, transformation, and application. The basis of a traceability system is related to the efficient and precise recording of information. Digital interoperability is an essential component of digital traceability. To increase digital interoperability in Supply Chain Management (SCM), one of which is by meeting the conditions of data consistency running on the interoperability system. Data consistency makes it easy to pool data from multiple sources and allows comparative decision-making. Consistency includes data release formats, classifications, definitions, and taxonomies.

Abstract

Waste in an activity is a process that does not add value to the company. CV. DS produces various kinds of gloves and motorcycle riding equipment as well as outdoor equipment, in the production process waste is found, especially in the sewing section. The purpose of identifying waste through lean manufacturing is to increase customer value through continuous improvement through the value-to-waste ratio. The loss of waste can increase the effectiveness of the production line which can have an impact on increasing production output. The method used in the identification of waste is the Value Stream Mapping (VSM) approach through the Current State Map (CSM) and Future State Map (FSM). The results obtained indicate that 5 types of waste that occur, namely defects, inappropriate processing, excessive transportation, waiting, and unnecessary motion. In addition, it also obtained results in the form of a reduction in production lead time by 68.54 minutes and non-value added activities reduced by 68 minutes. This is expected to increase production output per day.

Abstract

Many schools and campuses in Indonesia are built without considering the predetermined room temperature standards, so they are far from comfortable. Based on SNI 03-6572-2001, the optimal comfort category in Indonesia is 22.8°C-25.8°C. This study aims to determine the effect of temperature and humidity in the classroom on student fatigue and performance. The research was conducted using observation methods, questionnaires, and literature studies. The research was conducted at the UST Integrated Laboratory with 30 students as respondents living in the Special Region of Yogyakarta. The sample of students working on academic potential test questions by setting a specific temperature level, then filling out a subjective fatigue questionnaire. Data processing is done by correlation analysis and regression analysis. The results showed that the variables of temperature and humidity had a negative correlation with the fatigue variable with a deficient category and simultaneously had no significant effect. In comparison, the temperature and humidity variables do not correlate to the performance variables and simultaneously have no significant effect.

Abstract

Lack of lighting intensity levels can harm students. The most significant impact is the occurrence of eye fatigue. Eye fatigue is a condition in which the eye muscles are overused. They are forced to work hard to see objects for a long time. This study aimed to determine the effect of lighting intensity on student eye fatigue, the level of eye fatigue in students when working on assignments, and the level of student performance when working on assignments at certain lighting levels. The research data was taken at the Integrated Laboratory of the Bachelorwiyata University Tamansiswa on May 24-25, 2022. In processing the data, the method used was Regression Statistical Analysis, a statistical method used to form a model or relationship between one or more independent variables X with a response variable. Y. The results showed that the intensity of lighting affected eye fatigue in students. In session 1 the results were Y=26.62+7.49X, in session 2 the results were Y=23.96+5.47X, and in session 3 the results were Y=26.65+4.17X. Lighting also affects student performance, as indicated by the average score in session 1 is 35.50, in session 2, the average value is 55.33, and session 3 shows an average score of 47.67.

Abstract

The painting operator activity is done manually. This painting activity is carried out in a specific position and is carried out continuously, causing musculoskeletal disorders. This study aims to determine the working posture of the painting operator using the OWAS, RULA, and REBA methods. Data collection was carried out by distributing Nordic Body Map questionnaires to operators with several complaints. OWAS and RULA methods were used to find and analyze operator behavior that could cause musculoskeletal disorders and injuries. The results of the OWAS calculation show that the risk level score is 2. At the same time, the RULA risk level score is 3. The analysis results show that several operator postures pose a musculoskeletal risk, so improvements must be made. Hopefully, this proposed improvement will help reduce the risk of musculoskeletal injuries

Abstract

Work fatigue is a state of the body that has decreased performance. One of the causes of work fatigue is the condition of a noisy work environment. The high noise factor can cause work fatigue which affects the decrease in the level of concentration when doing work. The research objective was to determine the effect of noise intensity on work fatigue and student performance. The experiment was carried out on 30 students as respondents who were in the Industrial Engineering Laboratory of the Universitas Sarjanawiyata Tamansiswa. Students are asked to work on Academic Potential Test questions in 3 different noise intensity variables which are divided into 3 sessions. The first session had a noise intensity of 63.3 dB, the second session 84.4 dB and the third session 91.6 dB. The data obtained were analyzed by Simple Linear Regression and Correlation Test. The results of the study stated that the variable effect of noise on work fatigue obtained a significance value of 0.021. The significance value of 0.021 is less than 0.05 which means that there is a significant effect of noise on student work fatigue. Then in the variable effect of noise on student performance, a significance value of 0.012 is obtained. The significance value of 0.012 is less than 0.05 which means that there is a significant effect of noise on student performance. For the correlation test, the Pearson correlation values were 0.999 and -1.000, which means that the strength of the relationship between the two variables has a perfect correlation.

Abstract

Millennials are individuals who were born between 1980 and 2000. Millennials currently account for one-third of the total population, so they play an important role in contributing to the economy. Unfortunately, today's millennial generation is faced with negative impact platforms such as a high lifestyle, consumptive nature, and also the use of credit cards. The millennial generation needs knowledge of financial decisions to avoid current and future financial problems. Considering the You Only Live Once lifestyle or so-called “YOLO” millennials lead to consumptive choices at a young age, this needs to be controlled. On the other hand, the world faces the Covid-19 pandemic, which has greatly impacted the country's economy. In this study, the influence of financial literacy and income factors on the personal financial management behavior of the millennial generation in Yogyakarta. The study was taken from respondents in one of a private university located in Yogyakarta. The model obtained is Y=43,844+0,92X1+0,28X2, where Y is Financial management behavior, X1 is Financial Literacy, and X2 is Income.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the utilization of laminated bamboo in terms of its economic aspects and mechanical properties to support the environmentally friendly furniture industry in the Yogyakarta region. The research method employed in this study is a literature review. The findings of the research indicate that the utilization of laminated bamboo as a material for the furniture industry can transform the local economy by encouraging innovation in the production of furniture and crafts made from laminated bamboo. As for the mechanical properties of laminated bamboo, several tests were conducted, including flexural strength, compressive strength, shear strength, tensile strength, and modulus of elasticity.

Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze the integration of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) principles in Project Management during earthquakes in Yogyakarta, both in the present and future. The research method employed in this study is a literature review. The research findings indicate that the implementation of OHS practices in the construction industry can be carried out by all workers involved in the project. However, the execution of OHS measures cannot be avoided in the event of natural disasters such as earthquakes. Seismic-prone areas like Yogyakarta require the integration of effective OHS measures both presently and in the future. Several integrations can be implemented, including the establishment of government regulations that ensure project work is conducted in compliance with standards, encompassing human resources and materials. Additionally, during project implementation, there is a need for socialization programs regarding training and safety in the construction industry and OHS practices. In the construction sector, it is also important to establish evacuation routes or emergency protocols during and after construction. The formation of specialized teams to handle community emergencies in the vicinity of Yogyakarta is crucial. Furthermore, for future integration, it is essential to develop plans and concepts for post-earthquake disaster recovery in the affected regions.
