Abstract

Children in urban area tend to abandon healthy diet, since there are a lot of fast food options available around. In general, children valued the importance of nutrition, but they did not concern the health benefit of foods in food selections. Their dietary quality was not satisfactory, and the diet of most children did not meet the recommended serving requirements for vegetable, fruit, cereal and milk. The purpose of this study was to understand the relationship among Nutrition knowledge, vegetables diet and Nutritional Status of Elementary Students at Don Bosco Catholic School Manado. This is a cross sectional study in which we explored the nutritional status of Don Bosco Elementary Students based on nutrition knowledge, vegetable diet and Body Mass Index with questionnaire instrument, anthropometric measurements from June to August 2019. The nutritional status of Don Bosco Elementary School students based on body mass index (BMI) shows that students with normal and overweight nutritional status share an equal comparison that is 1:1 (50%), while the level of student knowledge about nutrition was dominated by students with poor knowledge that is 67.7%. This is also in line with the pattern of vegetables consuming which is also poor at 56.3%. Based on the results of Chi-Square analysis there is no significant relationship between the levels of nutritional knowledge of students with vegetable consumption patterns. Conversely, there is no relationship between the levels of nutritional knowledge of students with nutritional status based on Body Mass Index (BMI).

Abstract

The health business is adjusting to a new reality where bargaining power has shifted to consumers. Consumers are now playing a key role in the commercialization process, making them important stakeholders to fulfill their needs. Health business reforms have convinced consumers to give protection a greater priority than ever since the COVID-19 pandemic escalated around the world. Health care businesses in Indonesia are no exception, should increase their brand trust, because of the huge responsibility to protect consumers from the prevention of COVID-19, and brand trust also gives added value to the hospital's own brand. A brand with the right value proposition can "prove" the true value of its product or service to patients in the minds of consumers, one of which is from medical waste management. Hospital waste is usually a contagious and toxic chemical that can affect human health and environmental impacts if not treated properly. Medical waste including sharp objects, infectious waste, pharmaceutical waste, and other waste is mostly generated in health facilities such as health centers and hospitals. such as intravenous lines, syringes, gloves, which after use must be handled and destroyed in such a way that they do not fall into the hands of the public or even injure medical personnel. The Smart Waste concept is here to answer the challenges of trust in hospital brands in Indonesia, especially in the city of Bandung, increasing the sense of security of consumers is the main goal of this concept where hospital safety boxes work together with sensors and microcontrollers, disposal of syringes can be done more intelligently. , safe and the risk of medical personnel punctured by infected needle waste can be reduced.

Abstract

This study discusses the equalization of chemical reactions using a system of linear equations with the Gaussian and Gauss-Jordan elimination. The results show that there is a contradiction in the existing methods for balancing chemical reactions. This study also aims to criticize several studies that say that the equalization of the reaction coefficient can use a system of linear equations. In this paper, the chemical equations were balanced by representing the chemical equation into systems of linear equations. Particularly, the Gauss and Gauss-Jordan elimination methods were used to solve the mathematical problem with this method, it was possible to handle any chemical reaction with given reactants and products.

Abstract

Congestion is one of the big problems around the world, especially for big cities. Intersections are the scene of congestion because the lane is the meeting point of two or more roads which has a major influence on the smooth flow of vehicles on the road network. This congestion occurs due to various factors, one of which is the statistical traffic light duration, which does not match traffic conditions. Based on this, there needs to be a development in the timing of a more adaptive green light. This study describes the design of a traffic light controller using the Sugeno method fuzzy logic. This study aims to design a green light duration calculation by applying fuzzy logic that results in adaptive traffic light duration at intersections, by entering the density of each intersection path, which is divided into 4 inputs, namely regulated lane density, opposing lane density I, and opposite lane density. II, the density of the opposite lane III, with the aim of the system being able to produce a duration that is in accordance with the current traffic situation with an output in the form of a green light duration on the regulated lane.

Abstract

Earthquake disasters usually cause panic in the community affected areas, so it is necessary to be analyzed to deal with earthquake events in the future. This paper analyzes data from 9 major earthquakes in Indonesia over the past 4 years and determines 14 critical events. The analysis is based on credible association rules (CAR), data mining, and the maximum clique algorithm. To verify the accuracy of the association relationship and CAR effectiveness, it is performed using a maximum clique algorithm. Based on the results of data mining, that earthquakes have a credible association relationship and have a probability of critical events in various regions in Indonesia. Thus, these results can be used for prediction, early warning, and logistic distribution planning.

Abstract

According to National Commission for Women in April-May 2020, it was explained that women work twice as much as men in terms of household work with a duration of more than 3 hours. There are 1 in 3 respondents who reported that reported that their work increased household chores made him experience stress. The purpose of this study was to see between positive thinking and the stress of mothers who worked during the corona pandemic. Researchers used observational methods to see only people who think positive and stressed. The data technique is to use interviews as initial data in finding information and the phenomena raised in this study, which is then conducted literature studies from journals and books related to the theory of positive thinking variables and relevant stress. As well as the scale of positive thinking and stress that will be taken by research subjects or participants to answer the research objectives. The number of samples in this study were 82 mothers who worked during the corona pandemic. The positive thinking scale was developed from Albrecht's (1980) theory obtained by the researcher obtaining a reliability test result of 0.938. While the stress scale developed from the theory of Sarafino (2011) made by researchers obtained a re,liability test result of 0.944. Analysis of research data using the use of Pearson products. Based on the results of the Pearson product moment analysis, the value that has no reference is -0.689 with p = 0.000; p ≤ 0.01, which indicates a significant negative between positive thinking and stress from working mothers. The effective contribution of the second variable is shown by the determinant coefficient (R square) of 0.468, which shows that positive thinking affects the stress variable of working mothers, 46.8%.
