Abstract

Cars have become an important mode of transportation for humans, the growth of the automotive industry, especially cars, still sets aside air pollution which is getting higher day by day. The solution to industrial pollution by cars is the emergence of electric car technology. The purpose of this study is to examine consumer perceptions of the interest in buying electric cars which are influenced by trust in Jabodetabek. By using a sample of 100 people who have driven an electric car. The data analysis technique used in this research is inferential statistics as a data analysis tool, namely the PLS (Partial Least Square) approach. The results obtained from this study indicate that consumer perceptions and trust affect the interest in buying electric cars. Consumer perceptions also affect trust and trust mediation variables affect consumer perceptions of purchase intention in electric cars.

Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of discipline and the quality of human resources on performance mediated by the loyalty of credit marketing officer at PT. Maybank Indonesia Finance. The research population in this study amounted to 804 people with the sample used 73 respondents. This research will be conducted in the period between January 2021 to March 2022. The type of research used is the Explanatory Survey method, with the Non-Probability Sampling technique. Data collection techniques used are questionnaires and observations, as well as literature study. The data analysis technique uses the smartPLS-SEM (Partial Least Square–Structural Equation Modeling) tool. The results of the study showed that there was a significant effect of discipline on performance with a T-statistic value of 2.233. There is a significant influence of the quality of human resources on performance with a T-statistic value of 2.051. There is a significant effect of discipline on employee loyalty with a T-statistic value of 2,934. There is a significant influence of the quality of human resources on employee loyalty with a T-statistic value of 4.949. There is no significant effect of employee loyalty on performance with a T-statistic value of 1.335. There is no significant effect of employee loyalty in mediating discipline on performance with a T-statistic value of 1.224. There is no significant influence of loyalty in mediating the quality of human resources on performance with a T-statistic value of 1.303.

Abstract

This study is to determine the effect of work motivation and work environment on performance mediated by job satisfaction, which was conducted at PT. Maybank Indonesia Finance, research respondents are employees of the Credit Marketing Officer. Total population 360 employees. Sampling of 78 respondents. Data collection is primary data source and secondary data source. Data analysis using SmartPLS-SEM (Partial Least Square–Structural Equation Modeling) software. The results of the study that there is no significant effect of work motivation on performance, there is a significant effect of work environment on performance, there is a significant effect of work motivation on job satisfaction, there is a significant effect of work environment on job satisfaction, there is a significant effect of job satisfaction on performance, there is a significant effect of job satisfaction in mediating work motivation on performance, there is a significant effect of job satisfaction in mediating the work environment on performance.

Abstract

Marketers agree that systems can work very well when there are minimal laws governing the business. In Indonesia, the government regulates policies as rules and economic stimulus. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Indonesian economy was in a bad state. The automotive industry experienced a drastic decline in motor vehicle sales by 95% in May 2020. PT. Maybank Indonesia Finance, which is a motor vehicle financing company, also experienced a drastic decline in sales. In the face of unfavourable economic conditions, the government issued various policies as a stimulus for economic improvement. Companies must be able to explore the role of government policies that moderate marketing strategies within the company. In this study, the marketing mix is used as an independent variable moderated by Government Policy. This quantitative research took a study at PT. Maybank Indonesia Finance, with 100 respondents who are debtors throughout Indonesia using WarpPLS data processing. The result of the research shows that Government Policy related to Price and Promotion influences the Purchase Decision.

Abstract

In this era of globalization, sharp business competition followed by the progress of the global economy encourages all sectors of business growth. Every business actor is required to be sensitive to any changes that occur and place an orientation to customer satisfaction as the main goal. The consequence of modernization and technology today is that companies must be able to work extra hard to present the best products with the best service to consumers with technological innovations. Coupled with the COVID-19 condition that hit Indonesia, causing PT. Maybank Indonesia Finance, which experienced a decline in sales and financing, needed to reorganize its corporate strategy. This quantitative research took a study at PT. Maybank Indonesia Finance, with 100 respondents who are debtors throughout Indonesia using SMARTPLS 3.3 data processing. The results showed that Service Quality had an influence on Consumer Loyalty mediated by Consumer Satisfaction, but the use of Information Technology in the form of the Maybank Mobile Application did not affect Consumer Loyalty mediated by Consumer Satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the moral message conveyed in the public service advertisements of the Bali Provincial Government related to the relaxation of motor vehicle taxes. This study uses a qualitative approach. The data in this study were sourced from the TRIDUTA TV youtube account. This research will then be analyzed using Roland Barthes' semiotic analysis. The results of this study found that in public service advertisements regarding motor vehicle tax relaxation in the province of Bali there are 3 meanings namely connotative meaning, denotative meaning and mythical meaning. The denotation meaning of public service means that the government is socializing the relaxation of motor vehicle taxes. The connotative meaning of the community service is that the motor vehicle relaxation policy is assumed to be a policy that relieves the community and is marked by a "goal" celebration. The meaning of the myth in public service is that there are people who are in arrears of taxes for up to 5 years even though they know they will be subject to fines.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine and analyze the effect of key account marketing on the Optimization of 35,000 Megawatt of Electricity, also to know and analyze the effect of service quality on the Optimization of 35,000 MW of Electrical Power as well as knowing and analyzing the effect of key accounts marketing on the Optimization of 35,000 MW Electricity Power of PT PLN (Persero) Distribution of Central Java and DIY by mediating the quality of service either partially or simultaneously. This research is descriptive quantitative research with respondents who are used as samples consisting of 75 respondents. Data collection was carried out by distributing questionnaires to obtain responses to the optimization of electrical power carried out by PT PLN (Persero) Distribution of Central Java. The results showed that the effect of key account marketing and the quality of service positively influenced the Optimization of 35,000 MW Electricity PT PLN (Persero) Distribution of Central Java, either partially or simultaneously.

Abstract

This study uses a linguistic typology approach in finding the peculiarities of the use of suffix -kan in Indonesian verbs. The data of this research were taken from a novel entitled Larung which was written by an Indonesian novelist. Some representative data are analyzed in this article to show the syntactic structure of transitive verb clauses with the suffix -kan in Indonesian, how the typology of language is reflected in the clauses of transitive verbs with the suffix -kan and how the variations in meaning are produced. The results of this study found that there were four types of syntactic structures found in clauses with transitive verbs with the suffix -kan in the novel, namely NP VP NP, NP VP NP NP, NP VP PP, and NP VP PP PP. Typologically, there are two variations of agents that appear as a result of transitive verbs with the suffix -kan in clauses in this novel, namely A-O/P and A-O-E. Semantically, the meaning of transitive verbs with the suffix -kan in the clauses and sentences contained in this novel is as causative, beneficial and inherently-optional. Abstract

This study focussed on classifying the types of assertive illocutionary used by a resource person named Lianna Fix in the news of the Ukrainian War and the meaning of the assertive illocutionary act conveyed by the resource persons in the news of the Ukrainian War. This study used a qualitative method to analyze the data descriptively by using sentences that have been arranged into paragraphsThis study also used a quantitative method to determine the frequency of the types of illocutionary assertive used by sources in the Ukraine War news. The theory proposed by Searle and Vanderveken, (1985) was applied to classify to classify the types of assertive illocutionary acts used by the resource persons in the Ukraine war news. The results of the study indicated that there are four types of assertive used by sources in the Ukraine war news: informing, stating, expressing opinions, and reminding. Based on the data, there are 18 utterances that are included in the type of assertive illocutionary acts found in the utterances of the sources in the Ukraine war news. The type of assertive illocutionary act to inform became the dominant type used by the local guide's narrative. This applies (38.89%) for 4 utterances, states (22.22%) for 3 utterances, express opinions (16.67%) for 4 utterances, and remind (22.22%) for 4 utterances.

Abstract

This research intends to find out the character of a whale and other animal characters saving the ocean in A Whales Tale short movie. A Whales Tale is an animated movie that delivers a story of animal life in the ocean; therefore, it is interesting to explore those stories because a lot of animals trying to help and keep the ocean a safe place to live. Thus, for that, this research focuses on what the action or activities done by the animal indicated to the environment, especially in the ocean, and is related to ecocriticism theory that needs to be interpreted. Appearing in interpreting ecocriticism, this research utilizes Greg Garrard-related ecocriticism theories which relate to the key concept are pollution and animal. This research applied qualitative methods. It is found that the whales and other living things in the ocean take care of all around them. An animal or a whale normally just receive what human make for the environment but in this short movie, the animal character also joins to keep everything in a good condition so the world balance. Therefore, the movie attempts to give awareness about the ocean about the environment. In the end, it is expected that this research may create more respect and responsibility for plastic which is bad for the earth and affect a lot of stuff on this planet.
