ABDISOSHUM merupakan Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat Bidang Sosial dan Humaniora yang diterbitkan 4 (empat) kali dalam setahun, yaitu pada bulan Maret, Juni, September dan Desember oleh Yayasan Literasi Sains Indonesia. Jurnal ABDISOSHUM didedikasikan untuk mempublikasi hasil-hasil kegiatan Pengabdian yang dilakukan oleh Mahasiswa, Dosen dan seluruh lapisan Masyarakat yang bertujuan untuk menyebarluaskan hasil pemikiran dan gagasan konseptual, serta tentang kegiatan Pengabdian Masyarakat dengan berbagai potensi, hambatan, tantangan, dan permasalahan yang ada di lingkungan masyarakat dalam bidang sosial dan humaniora.

<![CDATA[Community service as a manifestation of one of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education carried out by Students of the Social Welfare Study Program, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences, the University of North Sumatra through Practicum II activities at SOS children's village medan, through the family strengthening program carried out in kwala bekala aimed at increasing the interest of students at the time of the pandemic, to increase their interest in learning through the formation of study groups. The method the author uses in this devotion program is community intervention by zastrow, which consists of: intake and contract, deals, planning/planning, intervention and formulation of programs, evaluations, and terminations. The results of the program can be seen from the attainment of the goals and impact students obtained during the program. Where students who participate in the program are able to follow the writer's well applied set of activities and are thus helpful in increasing their interest in learning. It is seen at the rate of their presence in group meetings each week and the results of weekly quizzes that show their willingness to repeat each home lesson.]]>

<![CDATA[Donggala Regency as an indicator, namely the performance of the community as measured by the poverty level and initially showed that during the 2015-2019 period, the poverty rate in Donggala Regency increased from 54.17 thousand people in 2015 to 55.83 thousand people in 2019. This is a lot shows that both poor households (RTM) and the number of poor people moving above the poverty line are increasing. The purpose of this project is to fulfill the youth program in an effort to empower, especially fishermen's wives in utilizing marine products in the form of fish which can be processed into various types of food and used as an additional effort to increase income and welfare of life, as well as educate online marketing methods so that products can be recognized by people outside the region. Activity Program Development Strategy using online and offline methods by educating how to market and developing the creativity of fishermen's wives in processing these marine products. The marketing and publication strategis that will be carried out to support the implementation of this project use onlie and offline methods. The product publication strategy is carried out online by utilizing ecommerce (Shopee & Tokopedia) and social media (Instagram, Tik Tok, and Facebook). Meanwhile, the offline stratey for product to be made is targeting the main target market, namely the people of Donggala regency. <![CDATA[Thematic Real Work Lecture (KKN-T) is a form of implementation of an independent campus. Through this KKN-T activity, it seeks to improve the competence and role of students as agents of change in society, foster a spirit of volunteerism and be able to be responsible for the community. The implementation of KKN-T for the Mambulau village group was carried out in Mambulau Village, Kapuas Hilir District, Kapuas Regency, Central Kalimantan. The approach used in community service activities is participatory action research (PAR). The method of implementing KKN-T is carried out through posyandu and immunization activities, and counseling on the dangers of COVID-19 to the community. Supported by village officials and RT heads. The work program "Efforts to Prevent the Spread of Covid-19 and Micro and Small Enterprises (UMK) in Mambulau Village" has been successfully implemented and smoothly. The people in the Mambulau sub-district were greatly helped by the activities to prevent the spread of COVID-19 carried out at the Posyandu. We also distributed paper bags containing masks and hand sanitizers, held socialization of nose washing at the Posyandu, then posted handwashing posters at places of worship, schools, sub-district offices, and health centers. People in the Mambulau village mostly plant banana trees around their home yards. So that a lot of post-harvest banana stem waste is found that is not utilized. Banana stem waste can be processed into chips. Banana stem chips have the potential to be used as a product for micro and small businesses that can improve the economy of the community in the Mambulau village.]]>

<![CDATA[The tutoring program is a form of community service program in 2021 which aims to grow the ability of early childhood children to interest in learning homes. In addition, there is another goal, namely from the implementation of this program for students to be able to apply the knowledge and theory that has been obtained from the world of lectures in addition to the campus being able to show the public that students are able to emphasize the existence of universities that are able to create or produce future cadres of the nation who are capable of bring about change for the better in society. The target of this service is children in Maimun Saleh Village, Sukajaya District, Sabang City Regency. This program has the main goal, namely through the tutoring program, early childhood children can gain basic knowledge of reading and arithmetic such as how to calculate properly and correctly. This tutoring program lasts about 3 months, each meeting 3 times a week. From this program, it can be seen that before this activity the children were not fluent in reading, writing and counting. After this activity the children had very good reading, writing and counting skills.]]>

<![CDATA[The era of the Digital Revolution 4.0 needs to be addressed with appropriate learning so that students have superior competencies in the field of education. This must be responded quickly and accurately by all stakeholders in education in order to be able to increase the competitiveness of the Indonesian nation in the midst of increasingly competitive competition. The process of information technology management level through the Cobit 5 Framework shows that educational institutions in Riau Province are still in level 2, namely the managed process level. We need a solution to accelerate technology, especially online learning, which is a necessity in various educational institutions. SMAN 8 Pekanbaru has implemented online learning with the measured readiness of managed process technology. The model used is the seamless learning model which is a method that provides an effective learning environment, contains the concepts of continuity and continuity in the learning process that occurs without time and space limits. The purpose of this Community Service activity is to implement online learning at SMAN 8 Pekanbaru in the form of workshops for teachers in schools using the Cobit 5 Framework. The results of this activity show significant changes, especially in the enrichment of online learning learning models. The survey results from the satisfaction of teachers showed a score of 98% strongly agree with the benefits resulting from this community service activity.]]>

<![CDATA[The potential of marine tourism attraction owned by Towale Village is one of the tourist villages in the Donggala Regency, Central Sulawesi, which has now begun to attract a lot of tourists, especially marine tourism lovers. Problems in general are related to tourism, one of which is related to the quality of human resources, in this case the awareness of tourism by the community in tourist villages. Towale Village is one of the villages in Donggala Regency which will be designated as a Tourism Village. The low understanding of tourism awareness by the community is the reason why community service activities are carried out to increase human resources through tourism awareness in Towale Village, Central Banawa District. Donggala Regency. The method used in this service activity is the extension method by providing education and implementation examples aimed at tourism awareness. This activity was held in Towale Village in August by presenting 30 community leaders, village officials and tourism awareness groups. <![CDATA[The target of this service is to build a business in the digitalization era aimed at final year students consisting of three study programs namely Agrotechnology, Management Studies and Civil Engineering) at PSDKU UNTAD Morowali. The purpose of this service is how to provide a broader understanding to final year students of PSDKU UNTAD Morowali to improve entrepreneurial competence after completing education in college and the purpose of this socialization is to anticipate students after finishing college so that they are not unemployed, so that they fill time and even become jobs that cultivated to be able to open a business online through applications on social media. The implementation method in the community service program is to provide material/lectures on strengthening entrepreneurship material in the digitalization era in the form of digital applications that are used to build further business in the current digital era. The final result of community service is expected to be useful for final year students of PSDKU UNTAD Morowali to strengthen the entrepreneurial spirit and take advantage of the use of social media to open a business and start a business.]]>

<![CDATA[Rabies is a zoonotic disease that is most feared by tourists visiting Bali because of the high mortality rate. Bali is an area with the highest Rabies incidence in Indonesia. We conducted community service in Taman Village, Bali in the form of education and implementation of mass rabies vaccination as a form of rabies prevention efforts. This community service was aimed to increase public knowledge about the danger of rabies and increase public participation in vaccinating their pets against rabies. The method of this community service consists of several stages, including dialogue and coordination with partners, preparation of facilities and infrastructure, implementation of activities and evaluation. The education provided include rabies and management of dog bite. Counseling regarding COVID-19 dan health protocols was also given on this occasion because the activities were carried out during the COVID-19 pandemic situation. This activity was attended by 20 residents as well as dog owners. The enthusiasm of the residents in the activity was very good, as evidenced by almost all the questions in the posttest that the participants were able to answer correctly. Re-exposure is given to participants who are unable to answer or answer incorrectly on the posttest. This community service is expected to be carried out regularly and continuously to eradicate rabies in Bali.]]>

<![CDATA[The initial stages of village financial management are the planning, budgeting, administration, reporting, and accountability stages. Development planning for the next one year is compiled in the Village Development Work Plan (RKPDesa) document. Each village is required to prepare the RKPDesa as a form of development planning to be carried out and as the basis for the preparation of the Village Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBDesa). Once the RKPDesa document is important and the activity is carried out every year, it is necessary to understand and know the stages of preparing the RKPDesa according to government regulations for the parties involved. Village development planning is contained in the Village Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJM-Desa) which is prepared every six years. RKP Desa is an elaboration of the RPJMDes with a period of 1 year which has been determined by village regulations. Of course, the synergy between the BPD as an element of the Implementation of Village Government and the Village Government cannot be separated. This article describes community service activities carried out by providing assistance in the preparation of the RKPDesa to village officials, the Village Representative Body (BPD), community leaders in Popisi Village, North Banggai District, Banggai Laut Regency.]]>

<![CDATA[Pain conditions are very often complained of in hypertensive patients. Pain often occurs in the nape of the neck due to increased pressure on the walls of blood vessels around the neck, increased vascular pressure to the brain so that there is an emphasis on the neck muscle fibers. This study aims to describe the nursing care process and the use of a warm compress intervention combined with deep breathing relaxation techniques. The results showed that the patient was diagnosed with hypertension. The patient complained of dizziness and neck pain like being crushed by a heavy object, a scale of 5 due to stress and a lot of pressure. Pain occurs approximately 1 hour and always occurs on every wake. Blood pressure reached 190/100 mmHg, pulse 91 beats per minute, RR 20 beats per minute, and temperature 36.30C. The warm compress intervention combined with deep breathing was carried out for 3 days and was proven to be able to reduce the pain scale felt by hypertensive clients.]]>
